This is an attempt to clean up my threads and find my characters a little home.

    PERSONALITY
    ➳ Sereia is a bubbly, care-free, curious creature that simply cannot stay still. It's one of the many reasons why she decided to take the role as a scavenger for her family and her people. It allows her to explore new things and discover exciting objects from the world above. She is a bit of a dreamer, although she is cautious, having been frightened one too many times by the sight of defensive cannons on the ships that pass through her waters.
    She often wonders about the world outside of their little Caribbean paradise, dreaming up of worlds beyond their island and reef. She longs to explore beyond where she is allowed, daring to venture out a little bit at a time but never far enough to get into too much trouble. She adores the sea she was born in, unable to imagine living any other way, however her mind does wander at times. Specifically when she begins to watch the humans on the islands or lands dotted around her, more so when she watched them dance. There's only so much one can do with a tail, and Sereia often wonders how it must feel to be human.
    Her dreaming, curious behaviour tends to earn some teasing, either in a tender and fond manner by her family or in a slightly less pleasant way by people in her world. Sereia has become accustomed to such things, often blocking out and focusing on her beliefs rather than being corralled into the thoughts of her people. Kind, caring and soft, Sereia will protect those that she loves and holds dear to the very best of her ability, remaining loyal to them and helping them through whatever needs or issues they may have.

    PERSONALITY
    ➳ Tessa (SH.902) is an extremely curious creature that enjoys learning, despite the lack of availability to find out new information unless it's about herself within the lab. Her curious nature has a tendency to get her into trouble on occasion depending on the scientist in the room with her, some of them finding her spells of questioning aggravating or downright annoying. She takes pleasure in the little things in life, since that is what she has grown up having to do. Every little thing that brings her happiness, she takes note of or treasures, making sure to remember what allowed her to feel that small sense of optimism or warmth within herself.

    Apart from that, Tessa (SH.902) is typically quiet and reserved, attempting to avoid conflict where she can. She is rather obedient, learning early on that it was better not to fight what the scientists wanted and that her life was a lot easier if she went along with their orders and commands. Although she does get nervous around strangers, becoming a bit more frantic and uncontrollable when it's a face that she doesn't recognise.

    Having never had someone to trust and rely on, there's no knowing what Tessa's personality is like outside of the Lab and under the care of someone she could trust and grow with.

    HISTORY
    ➳ Subject SH.902 has been at The Facility for as long as she can remember. For her, there was no life before The Facility. All she knows are the tests and the faces that conduct the tests or take her blood samples. She was fed well, of course, for her to keep up her strength but also again to monitor her likes and dislikes based on her genes. Then came the activities she took to in order to pass the time between when the lights came up and went down again. SH.902 became rather talented at drawing, but her siren blood also gave her the gift of singing. Not that she was allowed to do that often because of the side-effects.

    But just because she has become accustomed to it, doesn't mean she likes being there. Some of the tests were simple, a strand of hair here or a drop of blood there, sometimes they threw in a cheek swab to make things interesting. But then some of the tests were more brutal. Such as the incision in her thigh to see how long her skin would take to stitch back together. An arm break to see the time it took for her bones to fuse back. They would test the weaknesses of each part of her DNA on her. Wolfsbane or silver for her werewolf percentage, high-pitched noises and bright lights for the werewolf and siren DNA. Once they carved a rune into her skin, one of angelic power, to see if her body would accept it. Luckily for SH.902, it took. Now she can speak multiple languages without even meaning to. They even tried holy water for the demonic part of her DNA, but that didn't cause any damage.

    All these results were written down and noted, discussed and debated.

    It was after one particularly gruelling day of a higher dosage of wolfsbane did SH.902 decide that she needed to escape - these people didn't care about her life, and wouldn't care if she died. Surely there could be more to her life than what she was experiencing. So SH.902 planned and executed her escape, using her abilities gifted to her through her DNA mixture. Super strength and heightened senses from the werewolf gene, the power of manipulation from the succubus and siren DNA.

    SH.902 picked up the name Tessa once she stumbled across the nearest town, three days of stowing away in the back of pick-up trucks or hitchhiking. The name stood out on an advertising billboard as she held tightly onto the edges of the open cargo area of a pickup truck, the name rolling off her tongue nicely as she whispered it to herself. Adopting it for her own.

    The only thing she has now are the clothes on her back and a set of dog tags holding statistics such as her subject name (SH.902), her gender (Female) and her age (24).

    Clarissa has a tendency to be soft when around those who she cares dearly for and loves with her entire being. She's fiercely loyal to those she considers family, willing to do anything to make sure they are well or protected. Hardworking and determined, if she feels wronged then Clarissa will not give up without a fight and will look to make that person's life miserable. Open-minded and honest, one will always know what is on Clarissa's mind if it's something that needs discussing. Her tongue can become sharp when irked, her temper flaring mostly if someone disrespects her family or loved ones. A lover of the outdoors, Clarissa often finds it hard to stay inside for long periods of time, which is why sometimes she considers finding a different role in the village instead of remaining as a seamstress.

    HISTORY

    Having been found wandering alone on the outskirts of the forest near a human village at the age of five, Clarissa has no knowledge about her actual lineage. She was taken in by a human family that were just beginning to grow - having one son already and unsure if they would ever have another, they adopted Clarissa and given her her namesake. There is nothing else that Clarissa knows, just her time in the village and the work she now does as a seamstress.

    Her true heritage lies with a pack that had to flee after an attack almost destroyed them. Clarissa's true parents lost her within the melee and were unable to hunt as effectively as they wanted due to the pack needing to recuperate. As the alpha couple, they had to set aside their grief for the time being and consider the well-being of the pack. However when the time came to search, it was too late and all trails had gone cold. Their first born was lost, presumed dead.

    However, Clarissa lived on, growing up with an older brother and younger sister whom she believed to be blood. She often found herself different to those in the village, acutely aware of how much keener her senses were and unfortunately finding out about her physical strength after a handful of accidents. She learned how to deal with her sensitive senses, how to focus on one thing at a time rather than the racing heartbeat of a rabbit when her mother was talking to her. Muting the loud noises as best as she could and breathing through her mouth when her sense of smell began to overwhelm her. As for her strength, Clarissa hid it and tried to avoid conflict where possible. Although her sharp tongue did almost land her in a few predicaments she wouldn't have enjoyed.

    Her brother, James, saw Clarissa's strength as a means to defend herself if necessary so did teach her a few basics that he himself had learned as a hunter should she ever find herself needing to. Although Clarissa was extremely dubious, since she would never need to use these new skills as she believed she would never enter the woods.

    Working as a seamstress, Clarissa is able to contribute a little to the family profit, and tends to any who can afford to pick a deal with her for some clothes-mending.

    Before the attack, Jaxon was a rather popular person within school and the neighbourhood. He would often go out of his way to help people where he could, especially with any simple car troubles since he worked on the side at the local mechanic garage to make some extra money. He was bright, full of life and always up for a laugh.

    However, after being attacked by what seemed to be a normal wolf while hiking alone, Jaxon found his mentality changing alongside his physical traits. He found his temper quicker to rise and snap, his anger was always on the cusp of exploding - one wrong look in his direction or one ill-placed comment would have him abruptly standing and storming out, fists being throw into walls or his chair thrown across the room. He looked for a way to escape the torture he was beginning to feel, unable to explain the sudden and dangerous change to his behaviour. Doctors prescribed him with everything and anything, anger management classes were suggested, but nothing worked.

    Soon finding himself unsafe to be around people, even the ones that he loved dearly, Jaxon left. He packed a bag in the middle of the night, left a note for his single-parent father and took off in his car.

    While earning his way of living by being a freelance mechanic as he roamed throughout the state, Jaxon came across a group of people that seemed to know exactly who he was - or rather what he was. The attack on him was by no normal wolf, but by a werewolf. At first, Jaxon laughed, but as he realised the men who he had run into at the diner he was eating at were serious, he became dubious. Only for that night, the night of the first full moon since he had left home, to experience a pain he had never felt before.

    Luckily, the men at the diner had kept an eye on him, and Jaxon found himself waking in a cabin.

    Finally believing them, Jaxon remained with them for a few years to learn the ways of his new life and how to control and moderate his emotional state.

    He has since moved into a flat with one of the other younger men of the pack, with them both working at the garage owned by his new roommate.

    ➳ Annalise Leveque was born and raised in Germany by her parents Claude and Marie, who had moved there for work. When her parents died in a tragic ski accident in 1930, Annalise was brought up by her grandparents, who passed away in 1938 (Grandmother) and 1939 (Grandfather). She eventually moved back to her parent's homeland in 1937 to be with her aunt who had just become widowed and needed help with clerical work with her cafe. She is looking to move on with her work now, after gaining experience in typing and with her clerical skills, wanting to help with the war effort.

    REAL BACKSTORY
    ➳ Annalise Schneider grew up on the outskirts of Berlin, Germany with her family. When the Nazi's rose to power in 1933, Annalise was 16 and didn't really understand much in terms of what it would later mean. Her extended family was Jewish, and she wasn't aware of the repercussions that could have on her own family, despite them not being strict on the religion. Her family acknowledged a selection of the main holidays, such as Hanukkah and Passover in order to appease her father's side of the family, her mother not being Jewish.

    She continued with school, her athletics club where she participated in the high jump and her piano lessons. However, this was only for a few months after Hitler came to power, as soon Annalise found herself being excluded from her athletics club and she had to continue her piano lessons under her mother's watchful eye. Times were becoming more difficult, with her father losing his job as a tailor at a German-owned shop. Annalise's mother took up more work to try and keep the family supported, doing laundry and cleaning for whoever she could.

    Annalise, after leaving school, attempted typing classes however found herself barred from such things. Not to mention she began to fear going out, nervous about what could happen next with all the tension in the air.

    It was her father that helped get Annalise, and her brothers, out of Germany. Hans Schneider couldn't bear to have his children in such a violent country and so, with his contacts, he managed to get his children out of Germany and into France in 1937, but not together. Annalise was taken to Paris to live with a sympathiser, who would be her 'aunt', while her brothers were taken to Lyon.

    Now, three years on, Annalise still has no idea what has become of her parents - or as to where her brother's where or what they were doing. All she knew was Nicole, the widower who took her in, and the resistance work she was trying to undertake - starting with getting a new clerical/secretarial job within the Nazi network.

    ➳ Liliana, born to two servant workers in the von Aegir castle, had a better childhood than most. Allowed to accompany her parents to work, Liliana often found herself wandering and planning through the hidden passages and gardens until she grew old enough to be put to work herself. At the sudden, and confusing, banishment from the castle, Liliana found herself at the other end of her father's blame (and fist) for losing them such a well-thought of position.

    She has since escaped from under her parents' roof, renting a room which she shares with another young woman whom works in one of the mills. Liliana had so far managed to escape such work, earning just enough money to scrape by through needlework and seamstress work.     HISTORY
    Meira is the youngest of two daughters, born to blacksmith Aldwin Thorne and mother Ida Thorne. Meira took an interest in her father's work when she tagged along one day, only allowed so her Aldwin could have some respite from his daughter's pleads to take her with him. She wasn't allowed to do much, but it was the chaotic atmosphere and the way her father tamed both flame and metal that caused her to fall in love with the work. She convinced her family to allow her to learn the trade, considering that her mother bore no sons and her father had no male child to pass the business down to. The deal was that she would learn and work with her father until she married... except she never did.

    While her sister married a local baker and starting popping out grandchildren at the age of eighteen - Meria being fifteen at the time - that had no affect on what Meira wanted, enjoying the work with her father far too much. She watched and learned techniques from as young as eleven and finally picked up her first hammer at the age of fourteen, starting on smaller items like horseshoes and even daggers. She would help with the fiddly designs on handles and engraving designs onto armour, her fingers being slender and delicate enough for the work.

    Then the work broke out. There was a big call for weapons, and soon her and her father were overwhelmed with work. People didn't seem to care that she was in the forgery with Aldwin, perhaps they thought it was her father still churning out the weapons and she was just there to help with keeping track of everything. Running the books, so to speak. But then her father was called up during a desperate last push against the enemy.

    Aldwin Thorne never returned.

    And Meira found it difficult to cope without her mentor for the first few months. She continued to work, but with her father's presence missing, business began to dwindle as there wasn't much confidence with a female blacksmith. This woke Meira up from her grief, determined to prove that she was just as good as any other blacksmith in the village, if not better. That half of the weapons that the men fought with were of her creation.

    That is what life is currently like for Meira Thorne. Once the war ended, the village began to try and reform. Men began to return at a slow pace, some injured permanently or just for a few months, some managing to get away with nothing but the haunting memories of what they had seen. Life looked like it was slowly beginning to get back on track, however Meria struggled to find work for her blacksmith forge, with many still hesitant to take a chance on her.

    She continues to battle with the prejudice, and improve upon her skills.

    As the third child and second daughter in a lesser noble home, Eloise was not expected to inherit the family fortune or lands. That would all go towards her brother, George. Nonetheless, she was still able to create ties with other noble families, and thus that was expected of her. However, Eloise would strike a deal with her father, that she would be allowed to study History at Oxford, and once her studies were over she would settle down and find a husband.

    Eloise stayed true to her side of the bargain, and actually fell in love with a handsome young man during her time at University. She met Henry James Thomas Dormer toward the end of her second year of University. The eldest son of a Viscount, Henry would one day inherit his father's title and Eloise would be marrying into an affluent family. Not that it mattered to her, she had fallen hard for Henry, and to her it didn't matter what title he would one day hold.

    They married in February 1914, a little over a month after Eloise had turned 21. She was just finishing her course at University, encouraged to continue by Henry, while her father and mother attempted to convince her to drop out now she was married. They believed her place to be at the home she and Henry would make, but with the support from her new husband, Eloise completed her course.

    It was bittersweet that the lovers only managed to enjoy a few months together in matrimonial bliss, as The Great War broke out a few months later. It was to Eloise's dismay to find Henry coming through their front door one day in an Officer's uniform, but she understood that she saw it as his duty to go. He went off to war with her brother, George, and that provided some reassurance.

    While Henry was away at war, Eloise came to realise that she was pregnant with their first child. Excited and delighted with the news, she held off from informing Henry as she didn't want to worry him while he was away fighting. However, during her fourth month, Eloise woke to blood staining her bedsheets - she had lost the baby. Henry would never be made aware of the situation, with Eloise continuously not wanting to worry or upset her husband while he was away.

    The months went by, and by some God's miracle Henry managed to survive the war. Husband and wife were able to see each other more often than privates' and their families, due to Henry's status and nobility. It provided some relief, that perhaps things wouldn't be too bad after all.

    In 1917, Henry Dormer was killed in action. Eloise received the telegram alone in their family house, although it wasn't long until his family flocked to support her, after she had to deliver the painful news. Eloise was two months pregnant with their second child. She would lose it two months later due to the grief and the stress her husband's untimely demise caused.

    Eloise has since been living alone in the home that she and Henry moved to, one of the family estates. She has since taken on the duties and responsibilities usually set out for the Viscount, including handling businesses and affairs of their estates. They were tasks that help keep her busy, alongside raising her Fox Terrier, Charles, who has kept her company since Henry was away at war. She attends balls and dinners and charity galas, but rarely ever hosts her own.

    Having been living at home with his parents and little sister, until moving to college, Ty has been studying magic since he has been able to, working twice as hard to ensure he could apply and get accepted into MIM when the time was right. With magic now becoming a viable option now for a person's life, his parents were wholly supportive of this and encouraged him in his studies. They saw it as something he enjoyed and loved, so pushed him with his abilities and helped him in anyway that they could. He hadn't been entirely sure what he wanted to do, before he got to MIM, so took the opportunity to look at a few different classes before making his decision. The variety of options that were open to him just amazed Ty, and he found himself wishing he could Major and Minor in more than just one subject.
    While his typical behaviour may not reflect it, Ty scores some of the best grades in his class, relishing any competition he may get from his classmates - not that many of them put up that decent of a fight.     Nora tends to keep to herself unless she can help it. Not liking to get involved with socialising as she knows that's when the questions will come. Aloof, seemingly disinterested and stubborn, the only person Nora knows she can truly rely on is her adoptive mother, and MIM professor, Saoirse.     Born into a family that she wished she didn't know, magic was an inherent gift from the start for Nora, with her family's bloodline belonging to those that attended the Silvatrix Academy a generation after it was founded. The hatred for how their people were treated had caused her ancestors to turn to a darker side of magic in an attempt to learn it, manipulate it, and use it to ensure they would never be harmed again; so they could become powerful enough to strike a stronger fear into the hearts of those that may wish to hunt them. A fear that would cause them to turn a blind eye rather than feel strong enough to hunt them. But it poisoned their blood, their minds, their knowledge of magic and the truth behind what was good and what was not. This was bled down through the generations.
    Nora had been branded with the mark on her hip on her twelfth birthday, the same day she had started her first period. She was a woman now, they had said, and it was tradition that on the day a woman becomes as such, they would also start learning about their history and training their magic.
    She had lost her family a thirteen months later in a house fire.
    Put into the system, Nora had been fostered four different times but returned because of her outbursts. These outbursts included a loss of control with the magic that pulsed in her veins, caused by bouts of anger or sheer sadness. But on her fifth attempt, she was taken on by Professor Saoirse Murrell who worked at MIM, teaching History of Dark Magic. Who better was there to help understand and nurture Nora?
    It had been a rough time at first, with Nora refusing to let the woman in and stubbornly fighting against the help that was being offered, but Saoirse remained determined and strong. Eventually Nora conceded, and began to work with the woman. Now she was studying at MIM too, soon to graduate.

    Eager to learn, Shaye is a curious and punctual person who doesn't appreciate being taken for granted.     Shaye's parents moved from America to the UK in the search of a slower-paced life, not enjoying the rush and aggressive life one found in the cities around America. So after some moving around in different locations of the UK, her family finally settled in Camarthen, Wales. Here, Shaye was born and developed an interest in the Welsh myths and legends, learning about Merlin the wizard and all the magical creatures that accompanied the different myths, ballads and legendary poems she read and studied through her youth and then her young adult life. Developing an interest in magic and hearing about the offered courses back in America, Shaye learned what she needed to do in order to apply for a place in one of the newest colleges that was growing in name and prestige - Massachusetts Institute of Magic.
    Moving there, alone, at the age of 18, Shaye dived right in to her studies and her passion simply grew. She knew that she didn't want to head back to the UK after her time at MIM, and decided to undertake a teaching diploma. So she now lives in a two bedroom flat with another TA at MIM, working as the teaching assistant to the professor of Advanced Spellcasting.

    HISTORY
    Carina was raised the eldest of two, the second being her younger brother who was destined to take the throne of Eira. Carina, meanwhile, was destined to be married off to another kingdom when she eventually came of age. A bartering tool to try and win more supplies and men to support her kingdom's fight in a centuries long war. Not that an arrangement of any kind ever happened. All empty words and suggestions.

    With her mother deceased, Carina had been raised by a father who had always wanted two sons. Despite the war, she had been taught to hunt and to ride, how to read and how to write, how to handle the people and deal with their concerns and requests. But she had never been involved with true affairs of state, much to her dismay, with her father believing it to be too far above her.

    She had learned to harness her powers since they developed when she was twelve. Now at twenty-two, she was a very skilled element wielder, participating in lessons on how to defend herself and how to attack. These lessons only grew the more the war seemed to overshadow her and her brother's life, her father becoming more and more paranoid by the day.

    Then something happened, a tide turned, and the kingdom of Eira soon found themselves overrun with their enemies, just as her father had feared.

    BACKGROUND

    The kingdom of Tarnung is one of the five kingdoms which was formed hundreds of years ago. When monsters first broke through into the human world, Zemira's ancestors were left bewildered and fearful for their lives. They had hunted normal creatures before, but nothing like the magic-riddled beasts that invaded their lands.

    It was soon realised that they had to adapt, and evolve, in order to survive in this New World, and five different families took it upon themselves to learn about the different monsters they came across.

    They captured, killed, and experimented with beasts that they fought. It took what felt like an age before the families came to realise that they could take the magic that was within the monsters and apply it to their own human beings. Each family then settled on a monster in which they wanted to channel that magical energy, hunting them now rather than only killing to survive.

    The Tarun family managed to secure themselves enough Camouflage Beasts to entwine their bloodline with that of the creatures. Camouflage Beasts were known for their ability to, well, camouflage! They were practically invisible until they launched their attacks and came out from their dens. Their speed and ferocity was almost unmatched, and the Tarun clan knew they wanted to harness that power.

    Fast forward a few hundred years and Zemira Tarun is the second born royal in the Kingdom of Tarnung. The power of the Camouflage Beasts continues to run strong in her veins, and she is particularly adept at her camouflage skills. The princess also found she was capable of putting on some extra speed when necessary, picked up defensive practices quickly and could make minor changes to her appearance - a few inches here or there in height, a different hair cut or colour, even her eyes could become a new hue altogether.

    Due to protocols and politics, Zemira will never be expected to assume the throne as Queen should anything happen to her brother. However, she could still be married off to another kingdom for the sake of alliances. Currently, she is betrothed to the prince of Renati, which she isn't very pleased about. Deriving their powers from Hydras, the royals of Renati are capable of regenerating. Zemira had a particularly nasty experience with the prince pulling a prank on her with this skill after pretending she had sliced his hand off.

    Zemira hadn't forgotten it since.

    With the wedding fast approaching, Zemira finds herself growing more and more sick at the prospect of a loveless marriage. She hates the idea of being tied down to someone who she cannot stand and also without seeing anything other than the castle and certain areas of her kingdom.

    So she plans to run.

    Michael Miller and Haley Miller have a rather enjoyable relationship. They often attended NHL and MLB games together since Haley was five, allowing them to have a close relationship. Michael Miller often attended Haley's field hockey games, taking her to and from the matches when she was too young to drive herself. He supported her decision to go to New Hampshire, helping her fight her case against her mother who wanted her closer to home.

    RELATIONSHIP WITH MOTHER
    Susan Miller and Haley Miller have a little more of a strained relationship. Ever since the death of their youngest child, Theo, Susan Miller tried to get a tighter grip on her two older daughters, Haley and Rosie. She fell out with Rosie over her move to Germany, making it difficult for Michael and Haley to talk about Rosie when it become awkward in the presence of Susan. The Miller matriarch was also ademently against Haley moving (not even that far away) to New Hampshire for University and then eventually for work. However, she was talked around this time by Michael.

    Charlotte's mother claims that she had come out of the womb stubborn, since the birth had been the longest one out of the three Bonavitch children. It wasn't the shouting, berating kind of pushing but the encouragement to do better, with Peter often telling them to put themselves out of their comfort zone.
    They were settled in the US when Peter was killed while on a mission when Charlotte was sixteen (Mia was twenty-one and Isaac twenty-five). It completely devastated Charlotte and the young high school student began to spiral. She stole alcohol from the kitchen cupboards and began to mix with the wrong crowd in school. It wasn't until she got the wake-up call of needing her stomach pumped one night, seven months after Peter's death, did Charlotte realise - to her shame - that she was letting her father down.
    Immediately she turned her life around and focused solely on school work, pulling back her grades to graduate with what she needed to go on to begin her veterinary career. With money that she had saved from her birthday, work and also graduation, Lottie got two tattoos before leaving for college. One to symbolise new beginnings (the one on her hip) and the second in memory of her father (the one on her side).

    Eleanor probably had one of the most boring, mundane lives growing up, not that she would have wished for anything differently. She was born in Anaheim on 8 October, 1995 at 3.48am to Lisa and David Garcia. Her father used to joke that from there on in, she would be a night owl. As a baby, she seemed to sleep more during the day than she did in the night, which obviously made things a nightmare for her parents once they were off maternity and paternity leave.

    However, as she grew up, Eleanor found her best work was done in the evenings and night time, often leaving her in the library at College and University way past midnight with cans of empty energy drinks to keep her company. After her time at University, where she studied Criminology, Eleanor spent two years in the LAPD as a rookie. She had a few arguments with her father about her time there, who had seen some of the worse sides of LA as his time as a detective in the force.

    David Garcia wanted his daughter away from the career pathway as a cop or detective, his fears no ill-founded after Eleanor had been stabbed at the age of 20 during a mugging. She had been walking home from a night in the library at University, armed with only her phone, laptop, University ID and wallet which held a few loose, scrunched up dollar notes.

    The stabbing luckily didn't cost her her life, but it did result in a night or two in the hospital, a handful of stitches and an overwhelming anxiety of leaving the house for a few months.

    However, Eleanor was also fortunate to break free of that paranoia, realising that she wasn't about to let some criminal affect her life forever. So, with the help and support of her friends and family, she returned - through baby steps - back to her normal life. She attended lectures, returned to the library to work - but didn't stay so late, or if she did, she ensured to have a group with her.

    During her time at LAPD, Eleanor found herself engaging and thriving within a fast, problem-solving and pressurised environment, and it wasn't long until she was offered a spot at the FBI Academy. She had believed it to be a mistake, having only been with the LAPD for two or so years, but upon discussing the opportunity with her Captain and her father, Eleanor knew it was best to take the opportunity with both hands.

    At the Academy, Eleanor continued to excel in whatever she was thrown into. She plunged headfirst into each and every challenge, where she often came out on top. Her smaller stature meant she was a little less fortunate when it came to hand-to-hand combat, but with her research inside and outside the classroom, she was soon able to keep up with the best of them, even if her style was more defensive than offensive. She learned how to turn her weaknesses into strengths, and keep her strengths hidden until the time was right.

    After graduating, she was treated with the same respect as any of her fellow graduates. However, she soon noticed she was getting called more pet names than others, and often touched without her permission more times than she liked. It began to irk her and thus Eleanor began to call people out on it, uncaring as to whether it made that person uncomfortable or not. Especially if they were the same rank as her. She didn't believe she ought to go along feeling uncomfortable because she didn't want to hurt someone's feelings, all because she wanted to keep her body to herself and be treated with the same respect as everyone else.

    She wasn't anyone's sweetheart or doll or angel. She was an agent.

    She would be treated as such.

    Because of that, she earned a bit of a reputation for being a tough, no nonsense woman (though sometimes she heard the word bitch). However, Eleanor didn't care. She got the job done, and in her eyes, that was all that mattered. She worked well in a team, and wasn't rude. She simply called people out on their bullshit.
