ROLEPLAY SETTING: 14TH DISTRICT

The Humans have collided with the Ghouls in many occasions and for many generations. The Ghouls are spread throughout the world, and specifically in almost all of the districts in Tokyo. The CCG, or in other words, the Ghoul Investigators have been enforcing the streets at night but also during day to keep the Humans safe and free of the danger they can face. They also go by another name, but that is only used among the Ghouls themselves, which would be Doves. The CCG has initiated a program to get rid of each and every Ghoul in Tokyo, and throughout the many years, they've succeeded in annihilating them in a few districts. The danger the CCG poses is much more greater than before.

The rumors have especially spread throughout Tokyo, which is the most dense and populated city when it comes to Ghouls. The Ghouls are running scared in many districts. Some are even afraid to act and or feist on the Humans. Investigators are also spread around the districts and often walk around the streets to make sure something unexpected doesn't happen.

With change, the Humans are growing stronger, and for some unknown reason, the activity of the Doves in the 14th district is quite high. A sudden order from the Director of the CCG has made even the Investigators confused and suspicious about whats really going on. The sudden move to the 14th district has raised tension in the CCG and deviated the schedule planned with the program to get rid of the Ghouls in Tokyo.

There has also been some rumors among the Ghouls about a group called Kuragari Ishi, but they are also referred to as the In'ei. What they stand for is unknown to the most, but the Ghouls scattered around the streets are wondering if they are the reason for why the Doves have turned their attention towards the 14th district. There is also semi-known cafe in the 14th district named Iblis Fleur.

Iblis Fleur is known as a sanctuary or a safe place for the Ghouls, but not everyone knows about it. It is mostly managed by the latter, but it is also there to serve the Human customers in the area, and outside of it. In this world, there are Humans and or Ghouls that are quite different, from each and every individual. Some are trying to live their life as safe as possible, some Ghouls are slaughtering the Humans to kill time, or sate their hunger.

Despite all the occurences happening around Tokyo, the crime rate has not decreased. Humans have been mutilated and killed horribly in the streets. Even with CCG enforcing the streets, the war between the Doves and the Ghouls has never been worse.

6. Keep things as realistic as possible in terms of your character, environment and plot-wise. If an event occurs, act accordingly and realistically, depending on the situation.

CHARACTER STARTERS

There are some base similarities between our alternate universe and the canon. Iblis Fleur is like Anteiku, and Kuragari Ishi which are also known as the In'ei is an organization like the Aogiri Tree from the canon. CCG is CCG, as always. However, both Iblis Fleur and Kuragari Ishi will be quite different. The plot will be unique with its own form and aspect.

Kuragari Ishi is an anti/bad organization which is controlled by @Ali

Iblis Fleur is a neutral/good organization which is controlled by @Detective Zero

CCG is OPEN FOR LEADER

For starters. A maximum of three players will be allowed to create a character for either Kuragari Ishi or Iblis Fleur. It's first come, first serve. In the future, as the plot progresses, players are allowed to choose their own path.

A minimum of three players is required for CCG at least, but as many players as possible can create a character for it.

Any and all questions can be asked through PM to either Akashi, Ali, Artorias and Detective Zero, or you can just ask them in the OOC.​

Quinque:
Her weapon is a Ukaku type, in the form of a glaive. It can be retracted into a small blade that'll fit into her briefcase. Once its out it can be extended to the length of a normal spear or a lancer. A general appearance can be seen here. The hilt is black like in the picture, while the rest is pulsing bloody red. It is great for mid range, and even close. She is able to use it in quick succession and with quite the speed against a Ghoul. Her Quinque is unique only to her, modified to fit her the best. With her own reflexes combined with her weapon, she is a force to be reckoned with. Despite the length of her weapon, it is actually lightweight, made just for her. It also holds considerable strength if enough force is behind it.

Personality:
She is the type to act reckless attitude-wise, provoking her opponents to get the better of them. She is a very kind and social person as well. She usually reads manga on her free time or while in CCG. She can be somewhat anti-social as well. Using some of her time to better get used to her own Quinque. She is a doer, and when something needs done, she won't stop until its finished. She is also quite optimist and acts catiously, using her time to read her opponents. One thing aboute Akina is that she likes to test herself when she is in the middle of a fight, hence the provoking part. She can also be quite stubborn, and can be seen from time to time as someone who's woken on the wrong side of the bed, looking serious and the likes.

History:
Akina Natsuki, born into a standard family, while also being the only child. During her upbringing she had a fairly good life. She was quite social, had friends, had a good life during her time at the school. She was quite active in her younger days. She was part of the track club, hence why her stamina and endurance has grown over the course of her life. She was even part of the basketball club, which eventually worked in her benefit, giving her great reflexes and the likes.

She had two loving parents, who were also busy with their own work, but nevertheless she got the love she deserved. Unfortunately for her, as time went by, she ended up walking down the wrong alley once, stumbling upon a Ghoul during its dinnertime. Feisting on a Human that was killed before her. She flat out panicked, and couldn't move from the spot. Eventually the Ghoul noticed her, and lashed out, trying to attack her. Fortunately for her, she was able to move away just when one of the tentacles of the Ghoul, scratched over her left eye, scaring her for life.

During the heat of the moment, she was able to get out from the alley and back into the public area. The Ghoul attacked her during daylight, and disappeared when it noticed that going after her in public would bring the doves. In the end, Akina was able to survive. This was also the first time she came across a Ghoul in her life, even if she had heard of them.

Despite the little event that almost took her life, her personality did not change. She was able to get the injury above her eye treated to some degree, but unfortunately for her, as the doctors told her, there would always be a scar across her left eye. She eventually started to use an eyepatch to cover the said eye. But it also made her think about the poor Human who fell victim to the Ghoul, and in order to keep the streets of Tokyo clean and safe, her goal was drastically changed. She wanted to protect the people. So they could move and mingle around the street without any worry.

A year or so passed and Akina graduated from High School at the age of seventeen, and thats also when she decided to become an Investigator for the CCG. She used most of her time to know more about the Ghouls. Even read books with little to no information, albeit it was something, to understand what they are, and to know how CCG works. She prepared herself. Told her parents even, who did not like her choice. They were afraid for their only child, their daughter to put herself out there, in danger, everyday. But nothing could change Akina's mind, and since then, she joined the Academy in CCG, and trained to become a worthy Investigator.

Luckily for her, she was given the option, after some higher ups in CCG noticed how she retained her reflexes, agility and endurance from her younger days, which also gradually grew as she became older. With a new addition of Quinque's arriving in CCG, and along with some experiments to better and modify such weapons, she was analyzed by the researchers and scientists to make a weapon fit for her only. Thus, she was given a very unique Quinque, in the shape of a Glaive. Over her time in CCG she somewhat got a much more deeper personality, even if she enjoyed most of the things she did back in her school days. She could be seen as a serious person, or even cold, stubborn.

She even sparred with her trainers in CCG and somewhat enjoyed the thrill and the excitement from a battle. A smile could from time to time, be seen on her face during battle. This was also the case when she, in the field, met some Ghouls over her time in CCG.

- She lives in her own apartment, two years after she joined CCG.
- She has somewhat interest in Ghouls persay, and doesn't hold a grudge because of her injury.
- She frequently visits her parents to see how they are doing, and to bring their favorite food from time to time.
- Throughout the CCG, she has been given the nickname "The Smiling Glaive".​

Kagune: Shika has a Koukaku Kagune that she uses for short-mid range combat. Its shape is much like the pic below but its attached to her right arm and instead of silver its deep purple with the red. Toward the top where her shoulder is the Kagune changes into a solid block scale like pauldron stopping just short of her neck.

Shika has learned to manipulate her Kagune enough that she can change it from the sword shape to a shield thats about 4.5x3 in height and width. Instead of purple its black and solid like her pauldron except for a gash in the middle thats red. She doesn't use this form often though and its exhausting for her to switch forms periodically.

History:
Shikamatsu's mom died during child birth leaving Shika to be raised by her half psychotic father. Her father was a Ghoul in every sense of the word. He killed without remorse, even if he didnt need to feed. He was sadistic about it too. At a young age he would take Shika on his "hunts" and let her watch as he tortured his victims before finally killing them. He wanted her to be just like him, a bloodthirsty monster.

By age 6 the little Ghoul killed her first human. But this didnt please her father, quite the opposite actually. The reason? She gave the woman a clean, instant death. He wanted her to prolong it, to torture. Though the action or thought of killing didn't bother Shika, torturing did. Mostly because she saw it as pointless and unnecessary. This infuriated her father and he started to abuse, torture, and even experiment on her. Despite it Shika still refused to torture, only growing numb to everything.

At age 12 Shikamatsu came across a human girl about her age. But this girl was different. She intrigued the ghoul. They started spending time together. The human's name was Tachi. She sparked something in Shika that she had never felt before..Something warm. They became friends, secret from her father. About a year later the two girls were racing each other home when Tachi tripped on some train tracks and got her foot stuck. This wouldn't be a big deal if a train hadn't been barreling towards them right then.

Panicking Shika furiously tried to help Tachi but it was futile. Finally with no choice the redhead used her ghoul-like strength and bent the piece of metal trapping her foot releasing it just in time to jump off the tracks dodging the train. But the action of using her strength combined with the adrenaline rush had caused Shika's eyes to turn their predatory red/black color. This scared Tachi and despite her explanations the human girl ran away. Shika thought she had lost her one and only friend forever. Yet 2 days later Tachi called asking to meet up. She agreed quite enthusiastically.

When she arrived at the empty park. Tachi wasnt alone. She had brought her father, a dove. A battle ensued, Tachi's father lay dead at her feet while Shika bled profusely from multiple wounds. She begged Tachi to understand, but the girl just looked at her with frigid eyes as she picked up her father's gun and aimed at Shika. The ghoul returned home sometime later covered in blood with eyes devoid of any light. Even her father kept his distance from her that night.

4 years later Shika's father was killed by a group of doves. She found Kuragiri Ishi shortly after.​

The goggles are significantly darker to hide both his eye color and the helmet also hides his hair color while providing some protection against damage to his head. Roger sees helmets as being more practical, though obviously bulkier to carry around. People don't ask questions though considering his motorcycle is his chief method of transportation.

Likes: Cute women; Corgis; adventures; hunting, killing, and eating criminals; long walks on the beach; romantic dinners; movies; defending the weak; fistfights without kagune.

Dislikes: The idea of being buried alive; having responsibility; addiction; drowning; overly cocky douchebags; gangster wannabes; remaining in one area for too long; developing too many entangling relationships.

Weaknesses: Bikaku; Cute women; Those in need; Impatience; Inability to swim.

Kagune: Of the Rinkaku type, is rather unusual in that he can produce up to eight golden tentacles at one time, though these are rather slim when at their maximum number. This ability to produce eight tentacles combined with his tendency to ride motorcycles has given Roger the nickname "Spider Rider."

Roger's fighting style is extremely fast-paced and fluid, weaving across the battlefield and closing in on his enemies quickly. He performs best when fighting one-on-one and with the element of surprise, preferring to end the battle quickly with precision strikes hidden among the strikes from the rest of his tentacles meant to misdirect the enemy. However, he lacks the stamina to maintain his eight-pronged offensive for long periods of time, forcing him to retreat after dueling for too long or fuse his tentacles as necessary.

The foreign Ghoul is also notable in that he will often make use of human weapons such as knives and firearms

Personality: A surprisingly caring and self-conscious Ghoul, Roger displays an unusual amount of kindness towards anyone, even CCG Investigators, preferring not to fight them whenever possible. A significant guilt weighs on his mind about the fact that he is a Ghoul, but he tries to ignore this by consuming criminals and other less savory elements of society. When people need help he finds it incredibly hard to refuse them, something that could get him in trouble. Is somewhat unusual in that he has loved both Humans and Ghouls, though that isn't out of line with the rest of his personality.

History: Roger was born in Houston, Texas to an impoverished pair of Ghouls. His father hated and consumed humans whenever possible, resulting in the man leading a brutal and short life, whereas his mother taught a young Roger to value the lives of those who do good in this world. Orphaned at the age of twelve when his mother was killed by a pair of Investigators, Roger swallowed his anger and desire for vengeance, setting out on the road. Traveling throughout the world, he finally ended up in Japan a few years ago and decided to stick around a little while longer as he discovered a love for the country.

Extra: Burns wears a cherished cross around his neck despite not being religious, a gift from his deceased mother. He will occasionally grip it when consumed with thought or emotion, recalling his past.
