I remember seeing this for the first time. It's very very well done and has a really important message to it.
While I do think that in today's society Verbal abuse is far too often placed on the same scale as physical abuse, it does change who we are. That however can work both ways though. You can benefit from hurtful things just as easily as you can be scarred by them.
The bullet in the piece though is very clear, if you can't see the beauty in you, You need to find yourself a better mirror. Look a little Closer. Stare a little longer.
And complement the people around you for the things you admire about them. It happens less often than you think.
