[Appearance]
Nero is a decent height, standing about 5'7". Her strength and agility is definitely something to fear, as well as her flexibility. She has well-defined abdominal muscles, and is a very powerful, yet sleek opponent. She has smooth curves to her form, as well as having a large bust. Her skin is dark in color, and she has scars all over her body. She has elegant, abet angular hands with nails that can become sharpened claws as thick, and sharp as metal. Her hands are roughened from years of handling traps and weaponry. Nero is a very powerful foe, with fast and sharp reflexes from years upon years of fighting, but all the same avoiding death. Her legs are long, and elegant. They allow her to move quickly across the battlefield if she needs to. Her punches have a deadly amount of strength to them. She has a sleek panther's tail.
Nero's face is prettier than her personality is. She has bright, golden optics, framed by long, luscious eyelashes. Her eyebrows are a bit thick. Her lips are on the plump side. Her facial expressions don't usually budge from a cold frown. Although when an object of her affection comes around, her grin becomes maniacal and devious. Little can make her expressions change, making most believe her to be a cold, cruel cat who rules over her turf with an iron fist. Two, scarred panther's ears sprout from her hair. Her hair is curly, but is mostly manageable. It only becomes frizzy whenever the weather in unbearably hot or humid... or if it's foggy out.
[Clothing]
Nero never wears that much armor. She's not a knight; she's not an honest fighter. She wears sleek, black shorts most of the time, with a short, halter top. Above that, Nero wears a hefty, black overcoat most of the time. The sleeves are shorter so they don't hinder her ability to use her hands, but the coat reaches down to her knees. She has several silver and gold rings that she wears, all with genuine gemstones in them. Her shoes are usually steel-toed boots that really hurt when she kicks people with them. She never goes to formal events, so she doesn't have any formal dresses or shoes, or any really nice outfits. that can't get dirty or torn.
[Personality]
Nero is among the most powerful roleholders in Wonderland. Surprisingly, she stays down low and avoids most major conflicts between territories. Or at least, she did, until Fran came along. Nero is an unflinching, imposing, cold figure with an inclination to kill anyone she believes to be a threat. Any chance at jeopardizing her future? Consider yourself dead. Her main focus is not on grabbing power, but defending her life alongside the lives of who she holds dear. She holds very few people near and dear to her "heart", and never wishes for harm to come to them. Even after seeing many friends perish, her resolve to protect and to survive has held strong. However, she is very paranoid about what moves she makes, and can often lose sleep over the decisions she's made. It's a cold, terrible world out there, and all she has to believe in is Fran.
Nero is not an easily-effected roleholder. Not much can genuinely get through her frigid demeanor. She is paranoid over spies, or assassins sent to kill her. Even though she never tries to stake a claim on territory that is not her own, she still gets assassins sent at her. This deeply unnerves her. She despises what fear she has, and is very aware of her own flaws. Even though she's at odds with herself constantly, she is at a loss on how to fix her flaws and become more courageous. Even if she fears, however, she doesn't run from a battle. But she runs from relationships, close ties, trust. There isn't any way she can trust any newcomers in her life. Fran was the last. Nero also does not envy. She doesn't get jealous over attention, over power, over land, over anything. She also isn't greedy, and will never go for any territory that is not her own.
Nero does not get offended easily. She doesn't care about japes and jests made about her. She's never eager to get into a conflict, unless someone manages to provoke her. She hardly ever gets provoked. There's nothing to get provoked over; she blatantly doesn't care about anything but survival. But like many around her, life in Wonderland can be numb, thus she only has one other roleholder she cares for. When Nero makes mistakes or jumps to conclusions, she's actually very quick to apologize and attempt to right her wrongdoings. She's more cunning than most people give her credit for. Many see her as a brute without any other talents than fighting. But this isn't true. She has a killer instinct of what moves her opponents will make next. This has allowed her to overcome many foes in the past.
Nero isn't spoiled or stingy. She can actually be viewed as quite generous. She doesn't go out of her way to help any role holder, but she's kinder towards the faceless people than most role holders are. This has gained her public favor in the past, because she behaves more humanly towards them. But she is sneakier than anyone can predict. She's often viewed as an opponent who can't sneak or keep quiet. But most of the time, she wants people to know that she's coming to get them. When she wants to sneak about, she can. Nero rarely gets nervous, and her composure is rarely shaken. Nero doesn't really believe that she's lucky, because she knows that all of her wins have been due to pure skill. She has a warrior's pride. Despite being one of the more powerful roleholders... she's actually among the kindest in her own, strange ways.
[Skills/Powers]
Can enlong her nails to make them steel claws.
Immense amount of strength.
Can handle guns and even swords when she wants to.
[Weaknesses/Flaws]
Paranoia affects her greatly. She gets paranoid over spies, and doesn't trust anyone or let anyone in nowadays. She doesn't have any allies besides Fran.
She is also a one-role holder show. She doesn't have any enemies, per say, but she doesn't have any allies either. She is one of the role holders that doesn't control any troops.
Nero isn't the most charming of people, and she stubbornly refuses to change that fact. She's not good at making allies.
She's also not good with strategies that involve teams of more than two. She could never lead a patrol, or troops in battle.
Nero is very cold and an outcast among the role holders.
[Weapons]
Uses her claws, as a massive zweihander.
[Past/Bio]
Nero was chosen for her role so long ago, that she can hardly remember where she came from or her family. Everything before her twelfth year of life is a blur that doesn't make any sense at all. She killed her first person at twelve, under the encouragement of another roleholder. Perhaps he was... a very old Cheshire Cat, since Cheshire Cats were very often killed back then... But he was a soul who took her in after... her family perhaps abandoned her. He was the one who first taught her how to wield weapons. And although his face is not so clear in her memory, everything he taught her remains to this very day. He was an adept handler of weapons. Yet, he did not teach her everything she knew. As she aged, Nero naively forged ties with many faceless people, or even roleholders who were eventually killed and replaced. This turned her cold.
The first Cheshire Cat she knew disappeared one day, and a new one appeared in his place. Nero decided, from that point on, she would never associate with a Cheshire Cat ever again. And that her prime goal was survival. This resolve would weaken over the years... But in her lifetime, she associated with many roleholders, Queens and Cats and Hatters and every role holder. She doesn't remember every face she once new. But perhaps she's just forgetful. Her past is filled with a large amount of "perhapses" and "maybes". All she knows was that she was taught how to handle weapons, and how to survive. She has learned from almost every mistake in the past. Every scar is a memory. Every scar is a mistake that she has learned how to fix. Faster, more flexible, and more able to fight.
Her years have been filled with a crisis that involves purely existing. Recently, she met Fran after he had been fleeing from the palace where he once lived. Maybe something in her broke down that day, but she decided to take the poor soul in and help him out.
[Relationships]
Fran - He's a strange figure in her life. He adores her for saving him. But their relationship is filled with maybes. She has acted as a nurturing figure, or teacher, and she has consoled him in any way possible in the past. She has a feeling that they'll never be romantically entangled. But what she does know is that she cannot afford to die on him. And that she cannot afford to ask him to break her clock, so she'll never "return" to Wonderland.
