Matthew used to be a polite, reserved and intelligent boy. Although he maintains these traits, he has become accustomed to a certain lifestyle surrounded by violence, and so instead of focusing on education, he channels his leadership skills into the criminal life he lives in.
Summary of life:
Matthew's mother died giving birth to his younger sister Kate when he was just eight years old, and his father turned to alcoholism to cope with the loss. His father soon developed terminal cancer, unrelated to his alcoholic nature, and so, aged just fourteen, Matthew was compelled to help his father commit suicide through an overdose. Broken by his actions, his uncle took in him and his sister, but Matthew was unable to bare living with them knowing that he aided their father/brother to a quicker death. He was taken in by an older acquaintance of his, Eddie Spanner, who lived in a squat. To earn his keep, Matthew was asked to look after drugs, and soon to sell some. Over the years, he gradually earned Eddie's favour, and was asked to help do more dangerous jobs, such as armed robbery and aggravated assault. When he was nineteen, Eddie was arrested for the rape and subsequent murder of a young girl, Annie Rivers, which allowed Matthew the opportunity to take control of the squat. He became involved in a feud with a notorious drug dealer Barett Cole, who threatened to rape Kate. Unwilling to ever see these threats enacted, Matthew got hold of a gun and killed Barett and his entire family.

Matthew murdered the entire Cole family in a single mass murder attack, killing both parents, five of their six children including Barett, and a visiting cousin. He managed to frame one of Barett's acquaintances for the murders. Later, he stabbed one of his former friends to death after he informed the police on Matthew's actions. Matthew escaped the following police raid, shooting two officers dead, before fleeing to his uncle's house. He planned to go on the run, but when Kate revealed her disgust in his actions, he turned himself into the police. He also named himself guilty of all the crimes committed by his own friends, since he was facing life without parole any ways, including taking the blame for the rape and murder of Annie Rivers, freeing Eddie Spanner.
Turn on/offs:
Matthew doesn't enjoy killing people, but he does so when he feels backed into a corner. He doesn't take pleasure in delivering pain to people either, and sees violence as only to be used when necessary. This contrasts the various crimes he had been charged and sentenced for. Matthew does enjoy the feeling of being in power though, and this sometimes overrides his unwillingness to kill or resort to violence.

Naomi is witty, funny and sarcastic but also loyal and trustworthy. She isn't the brightest of people but she is a quick-thinker, a good liar, athletic and rather immoral.
Summary of life:
Naomi was raised in a broken home. Her father frequently raped and beat her mother for years, and Naomi was a witness to this. When she was fourteen, her mother killed her father, who was a heavy smoker, by turning the gas on in the cooker, as he lit a cigarette in the house and died in the resulting explosion. Naomi's mother was convicted for murder and as a result, Naomi's older and estranged half-brothers Nathan and Kyle took her in. Kyle and Naomi disliked one another due to Kyle's notorious ways with women and Naomi being blamed for their father's death. After she had been there for over a year, Kyle raped her and forced her to stay quiet. As he was her brother, she didn't report him for rape, but he took this as a sign of weakness, and gradually began to rape her more frequently. Naomi got into a good university, and was able to escape her brother's torment.

She likes stronger people, seeing weakness as the cause of most problems, as she used to see herself as weak for allowing Kyle to get away with raping her. One crooked female, someone who would want to kill someone to see how deep the knife goes in. She speaks her mind, no matter what is on it. Sometimes, she spends hours on a specific thought, while other times, she doesn't give any thought to a particular thing. Always looking for the pandemonium, because "I'm bored!" or "Hey -- I knew his mother, she was a piece of shit, so I'll kill him too!"
Sometimes, her actions and the vibrations from her throat (aka, words) might seem to be devoid of logic -- that is never the case.
She labels the people other than her as either delusional or ignorant. The people who she considers delusional are those who fight hoping for the best; the people she considers ignorant are those who don't think like her.
Summary of Life
Gwennie was born into a lovely home, with 2 other siblings. Yes, the inspiration for her future came from her father. He was a businessman, who would slap a man on the face for misspelling a word on a document. Her mother (who married for the money, of course), older brother, and older sister despise him as if he was the shit that comes out of their anus. But Gwennie took a liking to her father -- all those times he was raping the maid, all of those innocent and kind hearted company man he blackmailed, the times he felt her child sized breasts, to the time when he accidentally pushed her mother, and the train that split her head into pieces -- like a third grade division problem. "Daddy is my role model!"
She realized how delusional she was back in her youth, when she treated everyone so kindly.
