Hey! I'm Garp, named for TS Garp, the man, the myth, the legend. I mean, that's not my birthname, but I've started going by it online because I felt a spiritual connection to the guy while reading John Irving's novel.
I used to roleplay constantly on avatar sites like Solia and Gaia, but kinda fell off the face of the earth for awhile, then tried tumblr for awhile, vanished from there, too. Been wanting to get back into some good ol' forum based roleplaying, so here I am!
I'm going to community college, studying software development because it's interesting and I need a good job to support my fiction writing habit. I do enjoy it, really, even if it makes me really frustrated sometimes (but figuring out that little frustrating bit and making everything work properly is one of the most rewarding things in the world).
So, anyway, there's that. I've been a member for a few days but haven't made an intro post, so I thought I'd throw this out here before bed.
