Runa is a wild card. She can be shrewd, cutting, and innate. Her eyes are sharp. Her gut instinct kept her alive on the streets. She isn't above stealing, lying, killing or manipulating others to get what she wants. Runa can be downright callous, but she has a soft spot for animals or children. She may be a cold-hearted bitch, but Runa will never harm a child. Abusers or pedophiles are on her permanent hit list. Despite her sociopathic indifference, Runa isn't diagnosed with anti-personality disorder. Her tough exterior and acerbic tongue stemmed from childhood trauma and surviving on the streets. Without a stabilized home, Runa relied on herself and herself alone. At ten, Runa met Skull. He could have killed her, but instead, he took her under his wing. A cold-blooded assassin isn't the healthiest role model, but Runa learned to survive. She became cunning, ingenious, and organized. She received an unorthodox education and self-defense. While she remained on the streets, Runa utilized her mentor's training and became a professional thief. She stole to survive and thrive, but due to her kleptomania, Runa couldn't resist a new toy. Knives are a girl's best friend. Relying on herself made Runa cynical, mistrustful, and vindictive. However, if someone penetrated her cold exterior and gained her loyalty and respect, Runa will protect them with her life. She doesn't believe in second chances and won't hesitate to annihilate the traitor. Runa has the potential to be a team player, but she doesn't tolerate liabilities. BACKGROUND

Runa was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Her mother was a former stripper and professional con artist. She died during childbirth. Her father was a former male escort and sex worker. Despite his occupation, he absolutely adored his daughter. Unfortunately, he died at the hands of a violent client. Before her seventh birthday, Runa was delivered to child services and enrolled in the foster care system. Her first family was decent. She was always fed and never physically or verbally abused. However, as Runa grew older, she realized her foster family considered her a tool; an asset to exploit. At the age of eight, Runa ran away for the first time. Her second family was atrocious. She was barely fed and punished for her foster sister's spoiled misbehavior. Her foster father expressed an unusual attachment. A few months later, he entered her room at night. Instead of enduring the relentless abuse, Runa ran away once more.
Unlike her previous endeavor, Runa learned from her mistakes and remained hidden.
Despite her young age, Runa survived on the streets by the skin of her teeth. Two years later, she met Skull. His real identity remained a mystery. In the underworld, he was referred as Death, The Reaper, The Pale Rider, and so on. Runa referred him as Skull. When he saved her from his target, a sadistic pedophile, Runa anticipated her immediate demise. Instead, Skull took her under his wing. He taught her how to survive. However, as a bounty hunter and hitman, Skull drifted. Runa never shadowed him, but Skull introduced her to his safe houses. She may have gained shelter, but it wasn't a stable environment. Since Skull disappeared frequently, Runa relied on the streets to survive. Once she developed kleptomania, Runa utilized her skills and became a professional thief.
At twelve, during a pickpocket gone awry, Runa activated her shapeshifting gene. She remembered running, an intense burning sensation, and evading her captors. Since Skull is normal — completely non-powered — Runa learned the extent of her power through trial and error. It inspired her to master the art of disguises. Sixteen years later, Runa earned the moniker, Direwolf, for her proficiency and ruthless nature.
A few weeks ago, Runa was arrested for the first time. Despite attracting the attention of the police, Runa evaded imprisonment for years. However, a traitorous informant sold her out. When it almost compromised Skull, the informant's true target, Runa sacrificed herself to protect her mentor. She anticipated prison. Her crimes aren't limited to petty theft. On the other hand, a mysterious benefactor paid her bail. Runa received a mysterious letter detailing a secret society. She wasn't interested in joining, but she doesn't like unpaid debts. Therefore, Runa accepted.

LIMITATIONS
Age Swap — Runa cannot manipulate her cells to accelerate or regress her age.
Animals — Runa cannot mimic animalistic features or morph into an animal.
Body Frame — Her shapeshifting is heavily limited to her head. She cannot manipulate her frame extensively. Skin color and minimum fat distribution are the extent of her manipulation.
Bone Structure — Runa is limited to her cheekbones, jawline, and nose. She cannot grow or shrink. She cannot expand or decrease her stature. She cannot grow or remove her bones. She cannot heal her bones.
Clothes — Runa is limited to her body only. She cannot manipulate the molecular structure of clothes. Should she don a new disguise, Runa must change her ensemble manually.
Emotions — Her power is connected to her emotions. Should Runa feel happy, sad, angry, and so on, her hair and eyes will reflect her current mood. Runa has limited control of her mood shapeshifting. Additionally, heightened emotions may destabilize her disguises.
Fat Distribution — Runa is capable of manipulating the fat distribution to her face and breasts. She can increase or reduce the fat lining her face. She can reduce the adipose tissue in her mammary glands. However, Runa cannot increase her weight. Additionally, she cannot increase her original cup size.
Gender Swap — Since her shapeshifting is heavily limited, Runa cannot mimic a conventional male form; broader frame and male genitalia.
Healing Factor — Despite her shapeshifting capabilities, Runa doesn't have accelerated healing.
Scars — Runa cannot mimic scars. Additionally, due to the limited properties of her power, scars she received in her real form transfer on her disguises.
Skin Conditions — Runa can manipulate her skin's elasticity to an extent, producing temporary wrinkles. However, unless she was born with the condition, Runa cannot mimic skin conditions or mutations. No eczema, freckles, vitiligo, etc.
