They Came From the Sky
Only months ago a large meteor hit our earth, causing chaos to spread throughout every continent, country, city, and little town. The meteor came from deep space.
Days Later: The large meteor cracked open, revealing thousands, even millions of large beings formally known as "Aliens". Tall, black creatures with large red eyes and sharp teeth. In each and every one of their hands laid a small gun-like object. Humans being humans, we shot first. Our first mistake as a race. The Aliens shot back, nearly destroying every single scientist and military officer on the hit site.
The Next Day: The Aliens conquered the large cities around the hit site. Either killing every human in sight, or keeping them for unknown reasons. During midday, large spacecrafts descended from the sky, millions of these spacecrafts hitting the largest cities in the world before slowly moving inward to the smaller cities. We continued shooting at these beings, another mistake.
Two days later: Nearly half of the worlds population either have been killed or taken away (in result of our mistakes). Governments are collapsing, monuments being destroyed. The White House had been blown up by these Aliens, as well as the Pentagon. An organization known as the Resistance formed.
Nearly one month later: We are on the brink of extinction. Less than 1 million people reside in the world. Cities are destroyed, blown up, in decay. The Aliens have taken over, now building large buildings where our homes were. We still have no clue what these beings are doing with the taken humans. The Resistance is growing stronger, but forced to hide underground. In a city called "Triforce". The Resistance is getting ready for an attack, gathering up the last of the worlds best fighters around.
Now: The Resistance is leaving Triforce and traveling to the largest Alien city, where Washington D.C. used to reside.
