The Lost Mother: The divine songtress that gave life on Gaela, mother of the spirits and mortals alike. It was said that after her song of life, she suddenly went missing, leaving her highest creations to protect it.
Higher Beings: Divine beings that existed long before the rise of mortals, their origin is a mystery, but are tied to the lost Mother. They were left behind to safeguard the world in her stead, as they hold incredible divine power. Currently, only one is active in the world.
Spirits: Lower tier divine beings that exist to protect the planet in the name of the lost Mother.
Magic: A natural force that comes from the essence of Mana, which can be manipulated and used for various action and effects.
Devil Dust: A substance that originated from the Demon's Heart, an asteroid that exploded in the atmosphere and covered Gaela. Overtime, the dust clump together to form monsters, otherworldly and unnatural creatures that are dangerous and destructive.
Crystal Aria: A specific song used by Heralds for summoning spirits for aide.
Human: A young mortal race that is said to be the sister race of the Silma, They are the most numerous around Gaela, and the most technical advanced race. They are the only mortals to not have the natural ability to use magic, but are able to adapt in any situation.
Silma: A humanoid race were beheld as children of the divine as they had the power to summon spirits. They have become extinct after the betrayal of the six Higher Beings, siding with them and have been punished by Xordia.
Vendoma: Descendants of a mortal race that were attune with nature, highly favored by the divine. They are graceful, wise, have superhuman senses, and are able to wield magic at its full potential.
Ulgal: Beast-like humanoids that are blessed with paranormal powers, able to connect with others through minds, soul, and body. Their natural superhuman strength and speed makes them great warriors, but they also have the ability to wield earth magic to efficiency.
Moogle: Imp like creatures that hail from an island blessed by spirits, they are mild tempered and friendly to all creatures.

Xordia, The Divine Crystal: The great deity in the form of a great crystal that shines brightly to guide and protects all from the crushing darkness. It commands the power of holy, casting away the dark to bring a new dawn.
Anzel, The Luminous Wings: The six winged griffon that rules the skies, commanding the power of lightning to strike its enemies with divine retribution.
Shiva, The Ruler of Ice: The queen of frost, she is beautiful as she is deadly. She commands the power of ice to bury her enemies in an unrelenting blizzard.
Jinn, The Ashen Devil: The red demon that hungers for destruction of the wicked, he commands the power of Fire, consuming sinners in hellfire until nothing remains but ashes.
Jörmungandr, The Great Fangs: The great serpent of the deep unknown, said to have a body that circles the world. She commands the power of Water to sweep away the impurities that are caught in the torrents.
Gilgamesh, The Master of Blades: The personification of battle, this warrior wields divine steel to banish evil. He commands the power of earth to rend his opponents asunder.
Bahamut, The Void: The mightiest dragon to ever exist, it devours the light until there is nothing but the void itself. It commands the power of darkness to swallow its victims in never-ending shadows, twisted and torn until nothing remains.
Job Class
Herald: A long extinct class of Silma females that are blessed by the High Beings with their mark, granted the ability to summon spirits, gaining access to white and dark magic, and call upon her masters to do battle. To summon them, she sings the Crystal Aria to bring them to the mortal plain.

Warrior: Swordsmen that use blades for combat, sometimes using shields as well to defend themselves. They are the most balanced in offense and defense.

White Mage: Practitioners of white magic that helps keep their allies safe and battle ready. Not only do they use their magic to heal, but bolster their strength and get rid of impurities that befalls them.

Black Mage: Practitioners of black magic, using their powers for offensive purposes. They call upon the elements to deal damage to their opponents, but also have the ability to curse them with devastating spells that hinders their victims.

A human kingdom established after the Great Devil War. It is a monarchy that has seen through many dynasties, always ruled by a king/queen.
Three Blade Alliance: A council of three major noble families that ruled northern Gigan. Each family is the keeper of one of the three sacred blades, said to have been given by the great Gilgamesh in their time of need.

Darkness: Causes blindness to the afflicted that physical and dark magic attacks will often miss than hit. White magic is not affected by this.
Petrification: Turns the victim into stone, leaving them completely vulnerable.
Silence: Mutes the victim, preventing them from casting magic.
Zombie: Zombifies the victim, making them vulnerable to healing spells and items that will drain their HP if casted on them.
Confusion: Randomly uses abilities or spells against the victim's control.
Sleep: Puts the victim asleep, leaving them vulnerable for a set amount of time.
Stun: Occasionally stuns the victim, preventing physical attacks.
Rage: Causes a blinding rage in the victim, their physical attack increases, but will attack random targets, foes and allies alike.
