The World has Died

So as of now, this is more of an interest check. The book Dies the Fire is a post-apocalyptic world where technology has mysteriously stopped working, and gunpowder no longer explodes. The world is instantly thrown back into the Dark Ages, in other words. The rp won't follow the events of the book, only the world-changing scenario. At any rate, this is more of an interest check at the point, so for now, please share some ideas and some suggestions!
