-NAME-
May "Mayday" Parker
The Spectacular Spider-Girl!
-RACE-
Human (with spider benefits! Get it, haha...ha...)
NATIONALITY
New Yorkian, the deadliest of Americans!
ABILITIES
The Spectacular Spider-Girl, May Parker is able to invoke the powers of her father, Peter Parker. From Spider-Sense to webslingin' butt kickin', May is overall a more agile yet less strong and inexperienced version of Spider-Man in terms of powers. However, May has some interesting advantages over her predecessor. Her Spider-Sense is more enhanced and honed, able to tell where danger is from the exact direction and even to an extent who is causing said danger. May also exhibits a strange use of "electrostatic stickiness", meaning that she can use her Web-Crawling ability to "stick" people in a small given area to a surface. This ability can be utilized in the opposite magnetic direction as well, Spider-Girl able to enhance her attacks by repelling her enemies to much greater distances.
SKILLS
In terms of skills, May Parker's skills generally reside in her personality. She is an intelligent and beautiful individual with an ability to inspire others and just generally be an aspiring heroine-in-training. Whilst she often lets her emotions blind her judgement, Mayday is the pride of Peter Parker, carrying on not only his powers but his very persona.
WORLD ORIGIN
Earth-982
SHORT BIO
May "Mayday" Parker was born to Peter Parker and Mary Jane Parker, her early childhood being rocky to say the least. When she was an infant, she was captured on the orders of the Green Goblin, using a con-artist as an agent. Her parents eventually saved her, but at a price, with her father losing a leg in the process. From there, Peter retired, and so the Parker family became relatively normal for the next fifteenth years. At fifteen-years-old, May began to notice and use her powers more increasingly, evidence of Peter's genes passing almost fully to her daughter. With rising alarms of Normie Osborn trying to restore his family name, the grandson of the Green Goblin, May Parker set out for her first time as the Spectacular Spider-Girl.
After resolving that threat, May Parker swore briefly to give up costumed heroism, preferring to live a normal, teenaged highschool life. From cute boys to the basketball team, Mayday had it perfect, planning to run even for Student Council President in future years at high school. This, however, would not come to vision, the preppy webslinger faced with new and dangerous threats on the horizon. From Hobogoblin, Carnage, and rumors of a clone of her existing, May Parker, on uneasy orders by her parents, were sent to Sol to attend the Watchtower Academy.
With a much larger war on hand and the jeopardy of her world in peril, May Parker seeks to learn and train as much as she can to not only aid the upcoming war but to hopefully one day live a normal and happy life.
