"Life's too short to delve on it. Just shut up and enjoy it! Murder someone, have sex, drink rum, whatever!"

Name: Arabella Selwyn

Alias: The Trickster

Gender: Female

Age: 26

Occupation: Pirate Captain

Race/Species: Human/Sorceress

Appearance: Arabella has a big and deformed scar on her back, crossing it.

What drove you to sail the seas?:
Born in a common family, Arabella used to be a normal and happy child. Her parents were loving and understandable, and her brother was the most important person to her. However, by the age of 15, during a travel on boat with the family, Bella lost control of her magic, dooming those presents. A foolish fight between her and Oliver (brother) made her powers go ballistic in the most uncontrollable way. Causing the sinking of the ship, and thus the death of both Eliza (mother) and Louis (father). The only person Bella was capable of saving was Oliver, who latter entered into a state of rage. Blinded by anger, the teenage boy used his own sword to avenge his parents, using it to scar his sister forever. After that day, Oliver was gone and never came back. Arabella still has the mark of such fury slashed on her back, even though she has the power to make it go away.

After that episode, Arabella followed the darker path, choosing the life of a bandit, assassin, and then of a pirate. She still looks for Oliver, so that they can sort their things out, and so that he can finish what he started.

Other:

General Personality- Once you first meet her, Arabella gives the vibe of being a warm, friendly person, someone who can end up being your best friend; at a certain point, this isn't false at all, however, she is not really that gentle person who caught your hat that had flown, this is nothing more than a mask, used to play with those who are too naive to see things through.

Arabella has the capacity to kill a person mercilessly, while being able to cry tears of despair at the death of a pet, truly, no one knows the "true" Arabella, if she is that friendly stranger who captivated your heart at the first meeting, or if she is that cold hearted murderer who killed the person you loved the most right in front of you, or if she is both.

However, despite the rumors of "The Trickster"'s cruelty, the blonde is warm, friendly, and loyal to those dear to her, those being mostly her allies. She'll leave her cold and cruel personality aside to joke and drink alongside those who have captivated her heart.

Casimir "Cas not Cassie damn it" Herriot
The Crimson Ghost

Male | 26 | Pirate Captain

Race/Species: Halfblood Merman
What drove you to sail the seas?: Revenge

The birthplace of Casimir is one where merpeople are prized. Their beauty is sought after by the wealthy and they will enslave them under the pretense that they are entertainers. Casimir and his mother were two of those that were held captive. He was greatly desired as he's an albino which is rare. He had no wish to remain in a cage however so one day he took a knife to his eye and marred the porcelain skin he'd been fawned over for. Casimir escaped with his mother in the ensuing panic. He now wishes to gain experience and strength to one day go back and free all merpeople and kill all of those who enslaved them.

Other:
Casimir is known as the Crimson Ghost because of his spirit like appearance and when he fights he cares not about the blood that spills on him. He purposefully wears blood red clothing to add to the act.

Ship Name/Alias: Lady Tidepool
Ship Type: Galleon

Ship Appearance:
She's a ship that's looked after well. Casimir was careful to pick a crew that could maintain a ship and not just fight. What he lacks in numbers he makes up for in skill. The crew is free to come and go, have shares of anything they loot, and can party all night as long as they do their jobs. Lady Tidepool's crew are a rowdy bunch who enjoy the freedom of the sea while still keeping reason. They are not to be taken lightly.

[fieldbox="Quinn Pierce, red, dashed, 10"]
Alias: The Baroness
Gender: Female
Age: 26
Occupation: First mate and de facto captain of The Visitor during the inexplicable absence of Captain Lhiano Strye
Race/Species: Human
Appearance: Stands 5'6", short red hair (thought to be naturally blonde), brown eyes; whorl tattoos (thought to be religious in nature), favors light clothing in browns, blacks, and creams

Captain Lhiano Strye has a bad enough reputation within the Centrosi empire, having captured a small treasure fleet bound for Edgestone Bay, but his first mate of three years has already developed one much more fearful. When his black sails are seen on the horizon, sailors do not whisper his name, or that of his ship; they whisper of the Baroness, Quinn Pierce.

Fairly little that is known of the young woman is grounded in fact, but according to the stories, she was born in Canturn, the daughter of a sailor and a whore. Her father visited only occasionally, far more smitten with the sea than her mother, and she dreamed of sailing as he did. If the legends can be believed, she wanted to crew a ship so badly she enlisted on one at the age of 16. Several vessels claim to have been her first home, but the truth of it is, no one paid enough attention to her then to remember.

Scarcely a year later, Quinn Pierce forged her legend. By that time, she was sailing on The Delight, a ship known for her debauched crew and lavishly appointed captain. Bored with taking simple merchant vessels laden with spices and textiles that had to be resold, she rallied the crew and mutinied against Boris Kulchin, ending his career - and his life - rather abruptly. The Delight changed course and took a vessel from Canturn, the pleasure barge of Baroness Alliata de Marchiezi.

Tales of the battle are likely exaggerated, but they speak of Pierce cutting down half the enemy with her cutlass before her companions could swing across the gap between ships, of her leaping over a speeding cannonball, of countless bodies tied to the mast to prove a point, and most importantly, of a letter written under duress by de Marchiezi. Though no court has seen the paper and tried its legality, it's said that Alliata was forced to name Quinn Pierce her heir before being tossed overboard. Thus, the fearsome Baroness was born.

Pierce left The Delight in the next port, serving as quartermaster, sailing master, and master gunner on The Kestrel, The Domain, and The Bearded Bitch respectively. Her reputation for cruelty, malice, and spite only grew. Her fellow crewmen feared her, and so did her captains. Lhiano Strye, however, saw her as a valuable asset, and he bought her loyalty, offering twice the cut of booty she was allowed on The Bearded Bitch. She accepted, and was named his first mate.

In the past three years, The Visitor has been seen only a few times. People say that Strye's take from the treasure fleets allow him a great deal of freedom, unlike some pirates that plunder to survive. But whenever those familiar sails appear over the waves, what follows is never just a battle, it's a slaughter. It's unbridled brutality.

Such is the influence of Quinn Pierce, the Baroness. Some say she's a demon, others claim she's a witch. Rumor has it she sees the future and calls storms at Strye's command. Her sword drips blood she has yet to spill. Her life is steeped in myth and fantasy, a legend to be told to lubbers only recently come aboard. But the real Baroness is no less fearsome, a terror with a cutlass, subtle as sin, clever and cautious, but bold in combat. And evil. Very, very evil.

[dash=red]
Ship Name: The Visitor
Ship Type: Frigate
Ship Captain: Lhiano Strye
Ship Description: Black sails, hull and sails decently kept but due for replacement, dragonic masthead, 36 cannons
Crew Count: 300
The Visitor began her life as a naval vessel, crewed by sailors from Hightowers. On her maiden voyage, a trip to Centros City and back, it was boarded by Belchin' Jack Bellows, a captain sailing in the pirate fleet of the woman known only as Admiral Shank. The Visitor was towed to their cove, squibbed, and given to a rising captain named Pitro de Vinceza.

For around a year, de Vinceza enjoyed moderate success, nabbing a fat merchant vessel or two, but his luck ran out when mercenary pirate hunters found Admiral Shank's cove and brought her operation crashing down in one bloody night. Without someone else telling him what to do, de Vinceza buckled, and he was betrayed by his first mate, Lhiano Strye.

Up until this point, the ship had been known as The Indomitable, but Strye rechristened her. He also commissioned the infamous masthead, the gaping maw of what appears to be a dragon. In the aftermath of Admiral Shank's unfortunate downfall, many of her captains went to ground. The mercenaries hunting her fleet down were capable, but they weren't the only threat. Other pirates saw an opening, a chance to become what Shank had been, by climbing over her underlings. Most of the captains were captured, killed, or brought into a fleet, but Strye maintained his independence. And when he finally felt safe, he demonstrated as much.

The capture of the treasure fleet bound for Edgestone Bay remains his greatest accomplishment, and is responsible for much of the wealth in the hold of The Visitor, even to this day. It's this wealth that allowed Strye to maintain a reputation without regularly risking his neck.

The Visitor is a rare - but nonetheless unwelcome - sight in Centrosi waters, and more and more, folk say that Strye himself isn't actively in charge. He wears the big hat and claims the glory, but a young woman with red hair pilots the ship and barks the commands while he hides in his cabin. In fact, he hasn't actually been seen in several months, even when The Visitor has made port.

Increasingly placed in Quinn Pierce's capable hands, The Visitor occasionally feels as much like a prison as a ship. Many of the crew have been press-ganged into service, whipped by the bosun if they fail to cooperate. The Baroness has carefully selected the other officers around her, like-minded sorts who don't hesitate to stomp down uprisings immediately.

Gaaaah, my skimming gets me in trouble again, sorry. Now I'm tempted to give Lhiano Strye a blue beard. Probably stick to brown, but it's tempting.

No , I'm sorry missing the thing that certifies you've read the rules is punishable by death. Get in the hole with the rest , you won't be killed via knives , guns etc oh no that's too humane for your crime instead you will be forced to watch Boku No Pico 'till you choose to end your own life.

What drove you to sail the seas?:
This little pup was by the seas ever since birth, since he was the result of his pirate father having quite the amazing night with some woman he met off on Edgewater Bay. Well, He didn't want him, and she didn't want him, and they came into this argument, eventually they agreed for her to have him for 7 years, than give Feozar over to his father to throw him with the crew, and see how long he survived, without much parenting, and only the couple of days spent ashore to learn of the outside world created quite a personality for this guy, one of a more...psychotic nature.

So it isn't a surprise that he survived 19 years of his life, and at the age of 19, mistakenly stumbled upon a rather strange, and very powerful artifact during a raid. It was this purple glowing sword(as seen in picture). It matched the color of his eyes, and glowed faintly and fizzed from time to time, he decided to keep it as a secret and to only be used at certain times.

And it isn't much a surprise to many when only a few weeks later, he took it upon himself to violently overthrow the captains rule and claim the Silvermist for himself, and he made it clear by using that powerful energy sword of his to bring down every guard in his way with ease, and successfully beheaded his father, the previous captain, the first mate, and the quartermaster all in front of his crew to assure that he meant business (also took the captains parrot as a trophy). And that's basically how a madman gets his power.

Other:
=He has the parrot of the old captain, his name's Crackers, because why not?
=Madfur might seem like a naive little man, but he is in fact very patient and friendly.
=Madfur's very much into card games, you could say compulsive gambler if you count constant rounds of poker betting with rice grains as 'gambling'

There is the top deck, which paves access to the luxurious iron-armored Captains quarters, lookout masts, Quartermaster's room, 8 top cannons, 2 mortar cannons on the back, a harpoon gun in the very front, and the good 'ol wheel.
Then there is the bottom deck, which has all crew quarters, as well as first mate's room, the crew quarters stuffed around with storage, eight more cannons with two double-barreled cannons in the front, and an opening in the back for back weapons (just in case people want a chase) And no future tech aside from Madfur's sword.
Life is good if you don't get on Madfur's bad(mad?) side. Games are frequently played to ensure morale is high and chance of desertion is low, and frequent raids ensure income for the still-growing pirate crew.

Ship Captain:
Captain Madfur (formerly Captain Darryl Pierce)
Crew Count:
38
Ship Backstory:
Silvermist was named as a warship to fight in the frozen north, as ships like that usually git light-colored or ice related names. It met a brief and ungrateful end when it docked with intent on refueling before another fierce fight, instead of being refueled, it was raided and successfully re-purposed to be the pirate ship it has came to be today!

oh look! There's one right there! I guess we shall get started then!
