The Unplanned Arrangement

"Of course, thank you for the offer." Tohru said kindly, Sayuri nodded her head and smiled at Itachi kindly, the man having already been walking out the back before she could speak herself. Turning to her older brother, she looked up at him as he motioned towards the hallway with the bedrooms. Granted, it wouldn't be difficult to place all of her items with a summoning jutsu. It saved them packing time as she did not need to empty out her dresser, only her closet. She also had been able to easily pack anything else she thought was important.

Heading off with her brother, they had left Itachi to go about his own business with his brother, who had gotten up and followed him outside. While getting her items summoned into her bedroom, Sasuke watched his brother summon a fox. It was surprising to see, but in a way it wasn't. Itachi knew a lot that his parents might not even realize. Sometimes, it was almost scary how much his brother was really able to do and it was no shock that he was an ANBU captain just prior of turning the legal drinking age. Sasuke was still working on his won skills with his team, though he had already received the rank of Chunnin...There was still much more improvement to make.

It was then that Itachi summoned a small pup, making Sasuke blink a bit in a confused manner. That wasn't a dog summon he was familiar with. Kakashi Hatake was his teacher and even that man who seemed to summon so many dogs, did not have one like this. Even as a pup, it seemed the carrying a rather intimidating weapon upon it's back. Was it in relation to his brother? It was hard to say, but the little pup was persistent to keep it away from Itachi. Charging off, he slipped right between Sasuke's legs and into the house behind him. Looking to the pup, Sasuke then glanced to his brother as he brought up a rather fond memory of their past, smirking a bit, he couldn't resist the challenge. "Not only will I catch it, I'll get it before you.." He said with a smirk before heading into the house with his brother.

During this time, Sayuri had been going about her things. Her brother had summoned most of her items into her new room, now helping her unpack the many boxes of kimonos that her mother had insisted that she take. The woman was firm on her belief of how to dress, Sayuri knew she couldn't escape that custom easily, so she had just agreed adn let her mother have them stored in the scroll. Talking lightly with her brother, she simply just went and hung up her clothing in her closet as he put together her small desk area. It was a very peaceful moment really...until something rushed into the room.

"EEK!" She cried, freezing up as she felt something very very furry curling up on her feet and pressing into her leg.

"Sayuri?" Her brother asked in confused manner only for Itachi to step into the room right after. Looking to Itachi, Sayuri blushed at the strange request but had a feeling that whatever it was, he could deal with it. The creature had nearly given her a heart attack. Her brother merely watched curiously, having caught the talk of it being a summon and not seeming to mind. Certain summon animals needed to be proved to before you were able to sign the contract. So staying still, as he did not want to interrupt the chase that seemed otbe taking place, He watched his little sister slowly do as told and show her feet. Low and behold, the pup in question was sitting there growling at Itachi, tail wrapped around Sayuri's leg as it huddled close to her.

Sasuke had already dashed to the front door at Itachi's instruction and the pup seemed to catch onto the plan, quickly moving as Itachi moved, jumping around him and back out of the room and to the front door. It charged Sasuke without mercy, jumping in the air and landing promptly on the boys face. It happened so fast that Sasuke hadn't been able to even activate his Sharingan. Sitting on the floor, the pup had run right out the front door turning to pause at the end of the walk way as if to challenge the two men to keep trying.

Itachi tssked running out the room smirking. He was sure to catch the pup before sasuke, as this was also a form of motivation and 'training' in a way for his little brother and quickly put his sandals on running out. To his surprise the pup remained and Itachi looked over his shoulders, as if hoping sasuke would go through the back.

The pup barked and Itachi made a run after it, as it jumped on numerous rooftops with the sword somehow on its back still. The pup was smart, trying to slow itachi down with large crowds however it was also trying to not cause damage therefore took everything above. This game can lead to anything, such has 'hide and go seek catch' to which he assumed the playful yet tricky pup would make Itachi and sasuke chase after him before hiding then running off.

Easy then hard. Running then hiding. It was forbidden to summon another summon as you're not really 'proving' yourself worthy and Itachi figured his brother would probably be on the ground to 'sneak up' on the pup and easily catch him. He wouldn't lose the pup cause his eyes would be focused on Itachi, and the pup would pay attention to Itachi and not forget.

But assuming his brothers plans was useless, as that would be under estimation and Itachi almost caught up to the pup reaching to grab it. Thankfully it was just running in circles and whatnot around the uchiha territory as no farther. That is until the pup made its way to the uchiha brother's former home of fugaku and mikoto.

The moment that the pup fled, Sayuri let out a shaky breath. That had scared her quite a bit. Well, she really shouldn't have been but wouldn't anyone going about their own business suddenly be startled by such a sudden movement and touch? She would think so, at least anyone who wasn't a ninja. Her brother merely chuckled at her and shook his head, knowing that his sister was going to be ahve a very interesting life from this point on, especially if things like that seemed to happen everyday.

"Let's hurry up and finish. You'll probably want to make dinner, right? Though I assume you'll need to go shopping first. I'll take you once we are done. Though Itachi seems skilled, I doubt that pup has any intention of letting him catch him so easily. "

And oh how true that statement was. It was showing no mercy to either of the Uchiha brother's hopping high and low constantly, never keeping one path for two long. Sometimes hiding, sometimes running, other times teasing them with near grasps. Sasuke had gotten his Sharingan activated and stalked from the ground as Itachi followed in the air, the pup having quite a bit of fun running the two of them all through the streets of the Uchiha territory in Konoha. It even seemed a bit daring, heading right for the home of Fugaku and Mikoto. It did not hesitate to slip into the kitchen and hide under the table, Mikoto not noticing as she was preparing dinner for just three that evening.

During all of this, Sayuri had finished her room, setting it up and storing away all her items that needed to be put away. She also placed out her personal items such as pictures and other trinkets she liked to keep out and about to see. Walking with her brother into the kitchen, she made herself a bit familiar with the set up before checking the fridge and such for food. It seems basics and stables had been provided for the cupboard but the fridge had little if anything. She would need to go shopping certainly this evening if she was to make them something to eat. It was probably a strange idea for her to do that but it only seemed right, asking Itachi to go out to dinner instead seemed far to forward...and her mother had insisted that she make a good impression with a good meal.

So heading out into the streets, she went to a shop with her brother, picking up many items so she could make several meals that week without having to shop every single night. Hopefully Itachi would not find the gesture offensive in anyway.

During the chase itachi and sasuke had almost bumped into each other a few times, however with itachi quicker then sasuke on his feet to dodge or stop right away the pup had proven skillful slightly outsmartingboth brothers.

Once the small pup slipped under the table, Itachi slid under sasuke a feet and flipped to his stomach. The table was small for him to slide through, other then that the pup was lucky however Itachi refused to use any jutsu. He figured You'd be considered more worthy catching the pup alone without the use of any jutsu.

The pup hissed as well when Itachi shoved his hand under the table. Mikoto, turning around shocked dropped some stuff--before the eldest brother caught them quickly."Itachi! What's going on?" She asked puzzled."Summoning!" He simply responded quickly standing up and kissing his mother on the cheek before running. The pup escaped into the living room and jumped right onto fugaku's lap, to the males surprise he sensed a strong chakra from it assuming it was a legendary and rare summoning and soon Itachi dashed and slid across the floor on his feet seeing his father holding the pup on his lap.

Fugaku chuckled, before seeing sasuke. And once sasuke daringly went after the pup without fearing his father--Itachi in the process yelled for his name before fugaku simply moved to the side to avoid from being tackled as the pup escape with ease. How amusing."Try faster!" He encouraged to the brothers shaking his head as he returned back to his scrolls.

Sasuke was determined to get the pup before his older brother, it was just in the nature of their relationship really. He always wanted to show up his brother, yet at the same time he always put faith in him to succeed at things other's would find impossible. This task was no different, and it was the very reason Sasuke was no charging into the kitchen of his home while his brother slipped under the table to grab for the animal. The motion had startled their working mother but Itachi had quickly caught what she was dropping while Sasuke made a dive for the pup. It slipped through his hands though and he growled, looking to his mother quickly.

"Sorry, Okaa-san!" He added after his brother's one word explanation, following it by running down the hall after his brother had. The next place the pup had gotten to was Fugaku's lap, staring up at the man curiously and cutely for a moment as it let it's tail block the scroll was reading. It was a short lived cuteness as the pup growled again at the brother's, pouncing on Sasuke's face once again as it hopped over him and out a window into a courtyard. Blushing a little, Sasuke tsked at the animal before looking to his amused father with a smirk.

The pup had returned to it's running about outside of the houses, darting about and such and still keeping the boys very much on their toes. In fact, the pup seemed content enough to keep the chase going for a good hour or so, darting in and out of houses and through garden's and over roof tops. this was a very serious came of catch happening here. As all this was happening Sayuri had gotten the kitchen set up with food, since it had been rather empty saved for dry goods and staples in the cupboard. With a fridge filled with good foods, she set out preparing a meal. She had been concerned for Sasuke for a moment, wondering if he would be there for the meal as well. But he also liked in a different home with his parents. Eventually she decided to be safe and prepare a little bit more so in case he wished to stay for a meal, he could.

Cooking in the new kitchen, she prepared some baked mackerel, rice, steamed vegetables with a spicy sauce and miso soup. It was a simple dinner, or what her mother would call simple. She knew that traditional meals could be so much more flashy, but it was the first night in the house and she had a feeling that it might not be the most...comfortable meal. So she picked simple things, something calming and without complication for the first night. Besides, she didn't really know what Itachi enjoyed and as far as she thought, these would be the safest things to prepare when she had so little knowledge on what he liked. In fact, the only thing she knew he liked was dango...

"Ah...I should make some." She mumbled to herself as she stood there in the kitchen working on dinner. Her brother had left and said his goodbye, promising that he'd visit and also make sure to bring treats on the occasion. It was around this time that the pup returned to the house, the meal just about finished. To be honest it was obvious the smell of food had been what lured the young pup to return back to where it started. It had lost Itachi and Sasuke at the moment, or so it assumed as it had slowed to a trotting pace along the outer walk way. Wagging its tail, it paused near the kitchen doors that accessed the walk way, sniffing curiously that the scents of the meal Sayuri prepared.

With dinner mostly ready and only the table needing to be set, she had started the dango since she had no idea when Itachi would return. He had dashed off so suddenly after all. That was also the reason he had not drawn a bath just yet...this would be normal though, she had lived many nights not knowing when her father would return, she could only assume the same for Itachi. Though the sound of sniffing did catch her attention. "Hmm...What is that?" She asked herself as she set down the dough she had made into a bowl, wandering towards the doors slowly and cautiously. What could be sniffing at her kitchen?

Soon itachi spotted the dog before sasuke and dashed even quickly over the rooftops. He jumped off the last rooftop at the pup, who noticed a shadow covering over its sky on the ground and looked over its shoulder before jumping and sliding through itachi's fingers swiftly. But countering the pups dodge -which he credited- and landing on his back deliberately he smirked, he wanted the pup to jump as trickery , before he stretched his hand out and grabbed it by its tail and sliding into the house.

The pup was shocked upon realizing his plan, which was jumping, then surprise grabbing it from below once the pup would dodge and it growled to its dismay before the sword disappeared in a puff of smoke. It was quite small, itachi could hold it with two hands actually, and he did before looking at sasuke."wanna continue? Or next time?" He chuckled with the pup over his chest before catching the scent of food being prepped for later on tonight."You can visit any time or stay any time to talk to me.. If anything troubles you even if it's late and you wanna talk to me I wouldn't mind it." Commented itachi, rolling to his stomach on the floor and taking off his shoes holding the pup with one hand. It's red markings slowly disappeared, as well as it's other 'majestic' markings and itachi poked his brother triumphantly."Sorry sasuke, next time." He smiled and walked into the kitchen before stoping as he almost bumped into Sayuri.

"I hope you don't mind animals.." Commented itachi before seeing Kizuato whom was sleeping at the back door then awakened."Hmm.. But what should I call you?" Asked itachi, as all summoning animals naturally had a name. But it seemed like this one was a new one. A new summoning animal that perhaps never had a summoner unlike Shiranui."Don't have one." Stated the pup ears folded back and yawning. Itachi blinked surprised, it was a new one and he looked down at Sayuri, turning her around making her lean her back on itachi's chest as he held the pup Infront of their faces."You're smaller... Certainly smaller then the other celestial summons... Young too. What should we name him for now? He seems new." Asked the male directing the question at Sayuri and not minding her dirty hands as his clothes were dirty itself from dirt.

Sasuke had just been rounding the corner of the walk way when Itachi had made his pouncing move. Also in that movement, Sayuri had stepped to the side and made slipped open the door to peak out. It seemed the timing was perfect really, as it allowed Itachi not only to catch the tricky pup, but also slide safely into the kitchen without banging his head on anything. It did startle Sayuri though, who jumped back a bit in surprise upon seeing none other than the man she had just been thinking of land on the floor with the pup he had been chasing apparently since he had left nearly over two hours ago. Sasuke could only look into the kitchen slightly defeated. It was no surprise but still...he ahd been trying rather hard. That pup was a smart one to avoid Itachi for as long as it did.

Leaning against the door frame, Sasuke looked down at his brother who was slowly sitting up from the floor before shaking his head and breathing heavy from all of the running. "Next time...I've got training tomorrow bright and early, as well as missions that afternoon." He simply hummed at the rest his brother said, trying not to show just how tired he really was from that pups antics. The thing had nearly carried them all over the compound and through the streets of the Uchiha territory, never stopping long enough for them to get any wind. It obviously had either done this before...or was very aware of what was to come if caught. Letting out a grunt from the poke, he merely stayed in the doorway as his brother turned to the woman Sasuke didn't like at all.

Sayuri was blushing a bit nervously since she hadn't expected anything like that to happen. Though she brushed it off as best she could, this was a family of highly trained ninja, she should have seen something like this coming eventually after all. She shook her head at his question, signaling she had no trouble with animals of any kind. Blushing only more as he slipped around her, she looked over the pure white pup for a moment, her sticky hands, hovering in front of her as she didn't want to get them covered in dirt or animal fur. A name? Well, the poor thing didn't have one, had said so itself in fact. She blinked a bit before answering softly.

"Toraburu..." She said, the name literally meaning trouble. "It's fitting...considering what you had to do to get him." She added, smiling a little at her own joke.

Itachi blinked pondering momentarily then shrugged."Well, I must admit I will call it quite a name." He chuckled releasing Sayuri and walking over to sasuke showing him the now white pup whom would be named toraburu."What do you think sasuke? Seems like all my summons will have unique and simple meanings behind their names." Commented itachi chuckling again as he looked over his shoulder at Kizuato."Kizuato, being one of them as well. His name representing the many scars he bares." Explained the male as he placed the pup down and sat on the ground cross legged, the fox approaching his side and resting on his lap, continuing his nap with itachi simply letting it.

"So sasuke, what're your plans for later after this?" He asked, slowly getting up to busy himself. He made his way to the kitchen and saw some food and whatnot bought."Thanks for the other kitchen things, Sayuri. Need help?" He asked holding the fox much like how a person would hold a baby, the fox sleeping over his shoulder with occasional small snores that can be heard. He saw a rice cooker, and opened it peeking in before looking at Kizuato whom turned his head curiously and looked away relaxing on its summoners shoulder.

Sayuri found herself blushing as he seemed to accept the name for his new summon. It seemed strange to her that he would let her of all people pick a name. Was he trying to make her feel welcome by doing this? It as very kind of him if that was the case. She gave a polite smile as he wandered of to go sit near his brother on the walk way, Sasuke having gotten comfortable against a support beam after being tired of standing. He huffed a bit at his brother's question while the fox went about his business and crawled into his lap. The pup slipped from Itachi's grip them, ploping itself in the doorway between Sayuri and Itachi, looking more to the woman than it did the man that caught it.

"Eating...then sleeping. We have early training like I said...Kakashi-sensei is unforgiving, that dope is way to excited for as early as it will be and Sakura is...a whole other thing." He said slowly, obviously not liking the idea of talking of his forward female teammate who was still very much trying to be...something else. Sasuke went silent after than, eyeing the pup while Itachi wandered back into the kitchen with the fox on his shoulder and peeked into the rice cooker, only otbe greeted with the smell of warm freshly cooked rice just waiting to be used. Sayuri had gone back to making the Dango, the action simple as she kneaded the white dough on the counter. Looking to Itachi she shook her head a moment.

"No, thank you though...Dinner will be done soon though. The table need to be set though...I haven't gotten to that yet." She said lightly. She knew there was a traditional eating table the next room over, as it was that style to the home. A small part of her wondered if it would get any use at all, considering that it would just be the two of them for the year. Maybe Itachi would bring over friends? No...that would be strange for him wouldn't it, bringing friends to the home where the woman his parents were making him marry lived seemed like it would only make things awkward.

Itachi listened to sasuke whom was still resting up. He grabbed a bottle of water and leaned on the side of the entrance between the kitchen and dining/living room throwing him the water bottle."Ah, I see." He responded before looking over his shoulder."I'll be around if needed." He called to Sayuri in particular as he took a seat Infront of sasuke, leaning his back against the wall. Then the corners of his lips formed a smirk."Perhaps I should arrange your own marriage meeting with sakura." Joked Itachi, he always loved to tease and annoy sasuke about her."A nice, kind, and devoted wife." He adds to annoy his brother more in a teasing way."Oh yes, father would surely love and look into my suggestion sasuke." He snickered after wards as he cradled Kizuato.

Though he didn't seem to age like all animal jutsu's, you could easily identify the orange fox as an elder slightly or some older animal. Not by looks, you could just guess and identify him as being some old summoning animal similar to pakkun.

"Speaking of kakashi, it's been a while since I last saw him. Moreover since we last talked." Itachi stated."He went down a rank to become what he is now. Though, I can't blame him." Shrugged the male."Naruto is doing fine as well?" He asked noticing that sasuke left him out in particular. Itachi was familiar with everyone, even naruto's jinchuuriki. He was however never worried about naruto, I'm a good way believing that him and the nine tails were both compatible."If you saw Shiranui, who is a real summoning animal-- that fox wouldn't mind seeing Kurama and helping naruto..",said itachi as he also revealed that jinchuuriki's had names by saying the nine tailed foxes name.

"Alright...' Sayuri said with a shy smile as she went back to work, the meal still cooking away as she continued to make the dango. Itach didn't seem familiar with the process of making it if he hadn't noticed it by now. All the better as a surprise then for dessert, hopefully that would lighten the mood of the meal. Humming a little bit to herself, she went about pulling the dough apart and mixing in the classic flavors of green tea and straw berry in one of each portion, then rolling out the dumplings that would later be boiled. During this Toraburu had turned to look at her, wagging it's tail curiously as it sniffed the air. It obviously found the smell of dinner to be quite appealing. It wasn't long until he was right at Sayuri's feet, tail wagging more as he sat right beside her, waiting quietly and watching her cook.

Sasuke caught the water bottle with ease before opening it. chugging it a moment before couching and choking on his drink at his brother's statement. Blushing like mad he made a move to kick the man halfheartedly, obviously either embarrassed or bothered by the pairing. Sasuke had...mixed feelings on that topic. He already felt concern enough for his future considering what his father was putting Itachi through. Last thing he needed was to think that it might truly end up being that way with his female teammate. He listened lightly to Itachi commenting on his sensei before looking at him fully at the mention of Naruto.

"He's fine...Been busy though. He mentioned taking extra training but I don't know what...He's been quiet about it. I think he's working with Jiraiya-sama." Sasuke commented slowly. "I don't have to worry about him at all...that idiot can take care of himself...thankfully." He said in a slow huff. Sasuke had never been too fond of his strange set up, not that he didn't care for his team. But considering his sensei could flip from lazy to serious in a second and his female teammate was out to collar him into something he didn't want...a man his age could only take so much before wanting to smack his face into a tree repeatedly. Naruto had been similar in the beginning, but age and training had simmer that burst of energy down enough where Sasuke felt comfortable calling him friend. More often than not, he didn't mention a word about Naruto to his family, if only because unlike the rest of his team, Naruto didn't annoy to the point of complaining about it.

As the topic of Naruto unintended friend came up, Sasuke huffed a bit. He knew through his parents Naruto's condition. You couldn't not know eventually when he had such abilities as his. However, he never thought much on it. Just because he had a jinchuuriki in him did not make him some powerful devil...If anything, Sasuke saw it as a strange addition to his features...like a kekki genkai or something. Besides, with the way he actted, Sasuke knew that if there was ever a chance that Naruto would use his demon...it would only ever be against his enemies and those of the village. "I'll mention it to him...He's been talking about having trouble getting his chakra molding right, something to do with dual types? You probably know more than I do...he didn't even seem to have a clue on what he was talking about."

Itachi merely shrugged."Kurama is pretty stubborn.. Though, naruto will manage to handle him." Itachi answered. By now he could've put the fox down, however he was so comfortable with cuddling Kizuato he couldn't help it and therefore continued to cradle him.

"Well sasuke.." Signed itachi."Any questions, comments, concerns besides my situation?" He asked as he didnt want sasuke to complain about the marriage while Sayuri was around. It'd be rude in general and itachi looked around quietly while the fox slept peacefully."It also seems that you have mixed feelings with the team.. But I'm just wondering how you're still their rank and not moved up when you have the potential." Itachi commented smiling with furrowed eyebrows as he let a breath escape through his nose."Even before enrolling you to the academy you were much higher than a genin." He adds.

Sasuke blushed a little at Itachi's comment on his skills. To be honest, there were many more reasons that he wasn't a higher rank just yet. Though he had the skill, and honestly he had gotten very far in the exams and such, it seemed that he just didn't catch the eye enough to gather a promotion. Considering how Itachi shined, such a difference would be very noticeable. Along with that, and though he'd never admit it out loud, he did enjoy going out on missions as a team, working with them and fighting beside them. It was thanks to Naruto that he was as determined as he was, the two sparing so often be neither one winning.

As for Sakura and Kakashi, they were strong influences of skill and endurance. Sakura rarely ran out of chakra unlike him and Naruto, she knew how to conserve it well. Kakashi had the experience and advice that he needed when he needed it...and when Itachi wasn't available. Like it's own mini family with all it's awkwardness. It could be possible that he was subconsciously holding back...but then again, all it would take would be one shift in his actions and skill, just one change, and he'd probably be separated from them and made into a Chunnin. Sent on missions without them and placed with others. Maybe it was his younger self clinging a bit, or maybe he really wasn't prepared like his brother thought him to be...But Sasuke wasn't in a rush to grow up...not with the way his parents were behaving.

"I'm working on it...The exams are coming around again and this time I won't be missed! I intend to be promoted then!...Oto-san wouldn't let me hear the end of it anyway if I didn't...Just like last time." He tsked before standing up slowly. "I'm going home...Okaa-san probably has a plate made for me...and it's late. I'm already gonna get scolded for not showing up to dinner on time...I'll see you later."

Tossing the empty water bottle at his brother he started to walk along the walk way back towards his own home. Hands in his pockets, he huffed a bit as his brother pointed out a rather sore subject. He'd get over it of course since his brother wasn't completely aware of the situation...He was busy with his own problems.

Sayuri had finished the dango and placed it into the fridge for later, knowing that dinner was ready and it was time to eat. She had even gotten the table set for her and Itachi, though she left a spare set out for Sasuke near the sink just in case. Coming back from the eating area, she wandered out onto the walkway only to notice it was just Itachi sitting there. "Ah...Did Sasuke-san leave, Itachi-san?" She asked softly..."I has made a bit extra...I wasn't sure if he would be staying for dinner." She added as she looked down to the man cuddling the fox, Toraburu having been following her around like a little duck.

Itachi nodded at sasuke dismissing himself and walked over with him to the paper door where he waved goodbye momentarily and closed it shut. Then he heard Sayuri's voice."Ah...Did Sasuke-san leave, Itachi-san?" She asked softly."I has made a bit extra...I wasn't sure if he would be staying for dinner." She called.

The male looked over his shoulder."Yes!" He answered."It's fine! Give it to Kizuato and toraburu!" He adds as he walked back to the table. After eating he would have to go shower and Itachi sat on the pillow cross legged, gently releasing Kizuato. Itachi looked at the table set, proudly and grinned."Thanks Sayuri." Before grabbing a small bowl of the soup and starting with that first. For the most part he only drank half the bowl before placing it back on the table and looked down at Kizuato."Kizu?" He called bouncing his knees. The fox yawned in silence and looked at the soup that itachi hadn't seem to finish, nor want anymore as it wasn't 'soup season' for him to crave soup and began to nonchalantly devour the rest slowly. Nonetheless her cooking was still good and itachi grabbed a bowl of rice and a piece of the baked Mackerel.

"Your cooking is pretty good." Commented itachi breaking the silence. He wasn't much of a fish person, with the exception of sushi mostly, but now wasn't the time to be or act picky and he ate with ease, occasionally feeding Kizuato with the same chopstick he used. Now that.. Or this was true commitment between itachi and animals in general."Is there anything you wish to know about me or want me to know about you?" He asked while Toraburu rested on the girls lap for the whole dinner period occasionally walking around, then going back to her to be fed. Almost like a human child before playing with kizuato's bushy tail and going back to repeat like an endless loop. Rested on her lap, eat, walked around, played with Kizuato and his tail, repeat. The fox would simply ignore the wolf dog, playing with tora only when the pup desired his attention but other then that remained on itachi's lap eating and listening.

Upon hearing his answer from the other room, she nodded her head in understanding. Taking the rest of the food, she placed it on a plate so that the fox and pup would be able to eat it as they liked. She brought it to the table and had waited for Itachi to sit before she sat herself on her own pillow. It seemed the pup was not content until it really was right beside her, sitting in her lap. At first she was uncertain what to do but it had no intent of moving unless it wished to move. So she left it be since it was a rather cute pup and seemed only to wish for a cuddle of sorts. Having her soup first as well, she drank it fully and instead gave the other soup to Toraburu who drank it happily.

A small part of her wondered if Itachi didn't like his food as much with the way he was giving it to the fox, but the more she watch she just realized he was happy to feed his animals his food. It made her wonder if he ever ate all of his food by himself. The meal was mostly silent until he spoke up to her, catching her attention as she had paused in her eating to pet the pup who had taken to sitting up right on her lap and looking at Itachi from across the table. Hesitating a moment, she thought on what she could ask him, or what he should know. There was much about her she didn't feel like talking about...or that hse really couldn't mention at all. However, she did not want to appear rude either.

"Well...Do you have certain meals you like? And um...is there certain ways you eat during the year? I will be cooking so I would like to know so that I don't suddenly alter your eating habits without knowing it." She asked slowly. Though he had mentioned her food was good, she knew that she couldn't spend a year just making what she knew. He had to eat it after all so he might as well also enjoy it. This who situation was rather awkward already so anything to make the year better for the both of them was worth trying. Eating some of her rice, she waited for his answer as she watched him quietly.

Itachi perked his head up at her question immediately. She had probably noticed the true reason -or almost did- of why he most of the times fed Kizuato then himself. Itachi let out a small deep sigh and grinned worriedly."Well.. I'm not much of a fish eater. I don't mind eating it, it just depends how it's made... With the exception of sushi." He said."I don't like bony things either." Shivered the male in disgust."They feel disgusting when I eat. But the basics like pork and whatnot are acceptable too." Shrugged itachi. He recalled his father loving bony food, where his mother would chop meat up and leave the bones around, in other words 'less meat then bone' and the thought caused him to shake his head to his dismay.

"I don't eat steak either nor much vegetables besides cabbage.." He adds. Seeing as he pretty much turned this into some other conversation of food preferences he laughed slightly."Ah sorry. I eat 'seasonally' you can say... The warm soupy things in the winter and whatnot." Shrugged itachi."I also like onigiri." He nods then let out another laugh through his breath as he held it in."I'm quite a picky eater. But other then that regardless, I'll eat anything." Itachi smiled at her worriedly."So please, don't be troubled." He reassured.

Kizuato soon stretched cattily across the male's lap whole yawning and trotted away and undermine table, poking its head out and resting it over the female's lap. The pup nipped playfully at kizuato's ears and Kizuato seemed to try and get his whole body out, only to lay still awkwardly and not fully comfortably. Itachi blinked."Kizuato.? Come back." He ordered as Sayuri already had toraburu."No. I want her." He insisted trying to crawl out again but gave up sadly and exhaustingly."You're stuck arent you?" Itachi pointed out as he ate, merely letting the fox struggle to learn his lesson."It's not my fault she smells nice." Kizuato said in defense with ears perked up before folding them back as his head remained on her lap."Her lap is also more comfy!" He said snoring occasionally yet softly, his way of purring.

Itachi blinked."Well, you might as well just stay stuck like that until dinner is over." Stated itachi eating his rice and watching."Nehhhhh. So mean itachi." Said the fox dully laying there. Half not caring about itachi and his statements nor way of dicipline. The table was already set up, therefore it would be messed up to help Kizuato not to mention he knew he was far to big to come out from the table himself so itachi left the fox there."Foolish fox. Never thought of such a deceitful and tricky creature can also be so foolish." Sighed the male."Ever heard of the fox and the crow?" Retorted the fox.

"Of course."
"Then therefore, you are smarter then I. Crow." Said Kizuato referring to itachi as a 'crow' because of most of his jutsu's involving crow. Itachi stayed quiet, sighing before looking under the table. He put his bowl beside him on the ground and placed his right hand under the table."This may strangle you momentarily, but time it right when I push you out." He growled slightly. Itachi then lifted his side of the table, before pushing the fox roughly out the other side before it choked from the table. The fox laid over the pup and had a grin across its face, rolling around on Sayuri's lap. This caused the pup to crawl off from the foxes weight and sit over its chest tilting its head. Itachi quickly yet silently placed the table down where no spills -even the soup didn't spill- were apparent and looked back at his animals and Sayuri.

"Seems like my summoning animals love you already." He chuckled.

Sayuri listened intently as he explained his likes and dislikes. Well, it seemed she had done most of her shopping on good guesses then, as well as being money savvy since she had only so much on her at the time of her purchases. The rest of the meals could easily be altered to Itachi's preferences without any trouble at all. She also made note that she should not purchase any soup base for awhile, considering it was summer. Unless she needed it for s summer dish that is. It was still very warm, but summer was near the end and in a month or so fall would start to hint Konohagakure. It wouldn't be too long until soup season so she should only pull out her good stew recipes around then.

Her mind followed this path often, always planning and preparing long before it was required. It was a habit built into her through years of lessons from her mother. She had continued eating as he spoke, looking up when he mentioned being concerned. Ah, had her question caused him guilt? She could not tell...maybe? Oh she hopped not...She had only just wished to know honestly, maybe he though she noticed something when she truly didn't. "Ah, I won't be...I just wished to know what you liked. Since...Since we are together for this year I would not want to feed you things you did not enjoy. So, if there is anything you'd ever really like to eat please let me know." She offered with a soft smile, her cheeks flushing the slightest bit.

With at that said, Sayuri had planned to go back to eating her dinner. Though, it seemed her attention was pulled away by something else. The fox of Itachi's had not only gotten up from his lap, but attempted to squeeze under the table to rest in her lap instead. It made her blink a bit in shock as she set her bowl of rice down and glanced at the summon curiously, the pup batting at the eats as the creature easily became stuck under the table. She blushed a bit as the creature spoke, bluntly stating his preference of her over Itachi, not seeming to care that his summoner had called him back with a command. Though she had always been fond of animals, she certainly hadn't expected to be this desired in return! She had only every gone near other friends pets, now two summons of strong nature were calling her their personal pillow and cuddle partner.

Hopefully this was a good sign and not a bad one...

Giving the smallest giggle at the comment of the story the Fox and The Crow, she watched as Itachi easily freed his summon from the table, allowing it to slip out with a bit of wiggling. With pup now on top of Fox in her lap, Sayuri looked down at the lazy pair as she reached for her meal again. If this was a common occurrence she might need to look into getting longer chop sticks, as she had a slight bit of difficulty reaching her plate now. Laughing a bit at Itachi's comment, she looked away with a shy smile.

"Well, I've always liked animals, though I certainly never though I would be looked at so fondly in return...or piled in animals for that matter. But, I don't mind...They are going to be around often I assume so It would be best if I just became used to such demand for attention, yes?" She added as a small joke near the end.

The male chuckled then finished his dinner and stacked some empty and dirty plates and bowls and such for now in the sink, deciding to do the dishes in return since she cooked meals.

"I'll wash the dishes and clean the table. Just relax or something." He said suggesting things for her to do."Or you can stay around me and talk if you'd like." He shrugged merely suggesting more things for her to do incase she didn't know what to do. The summoning animals merely relaxed on the girls lap, the fox ending up sleeping on her lap with a satisfying smile and the pup cuddled between its paws, resting but not sleeping.

As itachi quickly and thoroughly did the dishes he listened carefully incase spoken to, after all it was just the two of them really and he stayed quiet with the silence.

Sayuri would have protested in Itachi doing the dishes had she not become a pet bed for the summons. Even if she wished to move from her place she wouldn't be doing so without disturbing the two resting on her. They seemed so content too, it made her not want to move at all. Of course, she just sat there at the table as she relaxed and allowed Itachi clear away the empty dishes and such. Thinking on something to say, she sat there in silence for a bit as she stared out towards the door. So far most of their conversations seemed to not go so well. She'd either ask something that made her apologize, or she'd just say something that he couldn't respond to. Her social skills were really failing now.

"Ah..." She then said softly as she remembered dessert. "Um, Itachi-san...I made dango, if you'd like to try it." She said as she looked to him watching dishes. It was the one fact that she remembered well from their first meeting, if only because of how excited and even happy he seemed to get at the mention of her working at the cafe. "I placed it in the fridge so it could be eaten after dinner."

With that said, she just relaxed a bit more and stroked the head of the sleeping fox, the pup having curled up a bit more and decided to go to rest as well on her lap. It seemed that those two would be easily awoken but anything with how they seemed to snore so deeply. It wouldn't be too bad then to have the summons around the house then if this was how they always ended up being like. It would be like having pets...just one's that could talk and fight.

Itachi listened when he heard Sayuri."Um, Itachi-san...I made dango, if you'd like to try it." He just finished washing all the dishes as well as ones he had just taken. He walked over with a wet towel to wipe the table down and slowly smiled happily."K. Thanks!" He said as he wiped the table, him leaning over her shoulder."I placed it in the fridge so it could be eaten after dinner." She adds."Ok." He simply responded as he placed the towel away then washed his hands and dried them on his own shirt.

The male walked over to the fridge, opening it calmly and grinned. There was a few dangos on a plate, wrapped up neatly by plastic wrappings yet loosely and he grabbed it out the fridge walking back over to the table and sitting as he placed it at the center."You can have some too." He shrugged taking one of the dangos from the stack and licked his lips staring at it for a few seconds."But then again.. You've probably eaten these many times considering that you make them at work." He adds.

The dango looked really good. He slowly placed one of the pieces in his mouth and chews it before swallowing. It really was the best dango he has ever tasted in his life--literally! The male then ate the other two pieces as one not really savouring every bite and grinned happily."These are so delicious!" He commented licking his lips again and staring at the plate full of the others before grabbing another one.
