On the surface, Wyatt doesn't convey much about what he's thinking or feeling inside. He seems aloof for the most part, especially since he doesn't socialize much outside of his small circle of friends. The boy is averse to meeting new people, as his trust issues would not allow him to open up easily. As such, he can seem somewhat snobbish and anti-social at times. Someone who is meeting him for the first time may think that Wyatt thinks highly of himself, when that cannot be further from the truth.
In reality, Wyatt is a very sensitive and anxious individual. He may not be easily angered, but he is easily hurt and would feel pain deeply, even if he wouldn't show his emotions in front of other people. He keeps all his hurts to himself. But there is only so much that one person can handle, and his refusal to seek comfort from friends has resulted in him seeking it through other methods, like self-harm.
Otherwise, Wyatt appears to be a very "chill" guy with a rather dry--oftentimes sarcastic--sense of humor. Only, he loses his cool when people try to spread misinformation. It is one of his pet peeves and he would quickly correct someone he believes to be wrong. Wyatt likes to learn and get his facts straight, even if he doesn't exert much effort on his school work.
While Wyatt is disciplined in some ways, such as his ability to sort his finances properly, he is not as disciplined in others. He can be kind of rebellious, even if he's not in-your-face about it. He might not outright disrespect a teacher by talking back, but he cuts classes rather often.
➨ Biography

There are three things that Wyatt knows about his biological parents.
First, that his father, whose name remains unknown, is likely half-wizard half-vampire.
Second, that his father doesn't know he exists.
Third, that drugs consumed his mother's life, and this is the reason why he was placed in foster care.
But he did not always know all these things. He didn't even know there was anything particularly special about him, other than that he had especially terrible luck. Wyatt always found himself in odd accidents, or had strange peculiarities about his biology that he could not explain. Like his irrational fear for all things silver, his "bad allergy" towards garlic and daylight, and his strange lust for blood.
He'd been adopted by a few families, but he never really found a home in any of them. They called him troublemaker, retard, autistic. Even when he tried very hard to behave, something bad always happened. He didn't have any friends either as he'd gained a bad reputation for himself at the foster home, especially after he tried to lick the blood off somebody's wounded leg. Luckily (or perhaps unluckily, as this is one of the reasons why the Ministry couldn't detect him sooner), his magic powers were largely dormant in his younger years.
But finally, at seven years of age, he entered the Ministry's radar and was placed under the care of a lonely Mrs. Wimberg. She was a vampire herself, more than a century old, and she seemed nice enough. At least at first.
Within only a week of staying in her large manor, she started touching him in places that he did not want touched. But he feared that uttering a word, or causing a fuss, would put him back into foster care. Or worse.
And he'd already made a friend in this small village of vampires. The last thing he wanted was to be forcefully parted from the first friend he'd ever made. Her family was really nice, too. They'd made him feel like he was a part of their clan.
He only had to avoid going back home as much as possible. But at the same time he didn't want to intrude on Sanguine and her family too much. Which is why he was ecstatic when the acceptance letter from Hogwarts finally arrived in the mail. This meant a whole school year away from Ms. Wimberg. By then the abuse had already ceased, but Wyatt could never feel comfortable within her vicinity now.
It has been years since, but the incident still scars him and he refuses to talk about it to anyone, even Sanguine. Especially Sanguine, because he knows that she will try to do something about it. While he knows that Ms. Wimberg would deserve every bit of Sanguine's wrath, he also doesn't want to lose the financial security that she provides him with.
He plans to move out by the time he's eighteen and is hustling for money so that he can be financially independent by that time.
