The Talented

Kia struggled against the two male nurses on either side of her. Her wrists were cuffed together as they held her too tightly and lead her down the hallways toward the newbie room. Great. A bunch of new kids freaking out over their new horrible lives. he had no idea why they'd be leading her here at all unless their new torture device can't be moved to another room. Kia's classified as a 'bad influence' after all. The burly man on her right pulled out a scalpel and pierced her lower back with it. Since she'd been here for over two years, nearly everyone knows her 'talent' and so they don't care about hurting her because she'll heal anyway.
"You keep struggling, I'll keep pushing." The man threatened, carving up her back with the extremely sharp surgical tool. Kia hissed at the pain and glared at him, half tempted to spit in his ugly face. But then they reached the door and a commotion was heard beyond it. The sliding metal door opened and the distracted nurses threw her to the ground and began to break apart the fighting males in the room, threatening them with tranquilizers.
Kia, handcuffed as she was, fell to the ground with a grunt. Her violet eyes stared up at the young girl she landed in front of, who was currently backing away from the struggling young men with a yellow eyes stranger beside her. The scalpel was still sticking out of her lower back through her white scrub uniform and though it was very painful, this was nothing compared to what they did to her when they were actually 'experimenting'.
"Hey newbies." She grumbled, pushing herself onto her elbows. "Mind giving me a hand?"

Hailey gasped and quickly helped the girl to her feet. "Are you alright?" She asked. She saw the scalpel and bit her lip. That didn't look good. "I-I'm going to pull scalpel out." She said as she studied the area. She didn't want to make things worse, but she couldn't leave it there. The emotions that had entered the room with this girl was making her dizzy. Contempt, anger, pain. It was swirling around her like a tornado of emotions. She put her hand on the scalpel. "Ready?" She asked, almost trying to prepare herself as much as the girl. Pull it out in one move, or it would hurt her more. She took a deep breath and jerked the sharp blade out of her back. She almost dropped it, then after a moment's hesitation she tucked it into the waistband of her pants. "I need to stop the bleeding." She said as she pressed her hand against the girl's back.

"That looks fun" Kian said pointing down to the scalpel that was in her back and the handcuffs around her wrists. He was joking of course then he chucked her a lock pick he had managed to make, he was not quite sure how she was going to use it but that was not this problem.

He looked up at the bright lights of the lab as they had begun to annoy him, getting so annoyed with it he took off one of the cheap shoes they were forced to wear and chucked it at the light in anger. It began to flicker as the shoe hit it with a powerful force.

The panicky girl pulled her up quickly and Kia gasped sharply at the movement that caused the scalpel to shift. She wanted to say something, but the stranger was talking too much in her frazzled state for Kia to get a word in so she gritted her teeth when she pulled out the knife in her back and glared when she pressed her hand to the sore spot. She'd only asked to stand up! In response to the girl's reasoning of touching her, Kia gave her a tight sile as her flesh knit back together. The only evidence of the wound was the cut and stain on her shirt. "No need, Kid." Of course, she couldn't be younger than her by more than two years, but by the ways he acted, she was naive enough to be 12 years old. The man beside her threw his shoe at the light above them and she smirked as it flickered. "Nice shot. But what's the point? Do you want to be tranquilized for a misdemeanor?" Kia asked, sarcasm potent in her voice as she pointed with both hands over her shoulder to the boys being dragged out of the room. They'd been hit with the dart for fighting. Idiots.

Hailey shook her head as she studied the girls back. "I need to step away for a moment." She said with a deep breath. The roller coaster of emotions flying through the room as a result of the boys' antics was starting to make her sick to her stomach. Worry, amusement, fear, anger, contempt, pain, sadness...She wasn't used to being surrounded by so many people, and this was why. She backed up until she was leaned against the wall and closed her eyes. if only she could close her mind as easily. She focused on her breathing and slowly her stomach started to settle.

"It was hurting my eyes and they would need one strong tranquilliser" he said as he began to put his shoe back on which took longer than he had expected as they were a couple of sizes to small for his. Getting fed up of them as well he picked one up and chucked it to the other end of the room aiming for a CCTV camera on the wall, it hit it but as it dropped to the ground it hit one of the doctors that was passing through the room. Seeing it he placed his hands on his mouth in shock he really did not want to hit anyone even if it was funny.

Kia raised one eyebrow at the younger girl who walked away to lean against the wall. What happened?
But then she looked back at the yellow eyed guy and narrowed her eyes at him when he spoke. Surely he's talented..but how? She wondered. Again he threw his shoe at a camera this time and she almost gave him a smile, but the it landed on one of the guard's heads. "Great. Now you've done it." Kia growled, standing tall beside the newbie as the guard stalked toward them, tranq gun at the ready. His aim was dead trained on the guy's arm. "make another move like that and I shoot. Got that?!" the man yelled. Kia, not the least bit fazed, nudged the guy beside her and gave him a warning look. He might think they'd need some super strong barbiturate to knock him out, but if he's human, he'd be terribly wrong.

"Are you making me wait how rude" he said to the guard as he eyed him up, he wanted to cause mischief it was not like he could get fun any other way. He only feared the doctors but the guards are just big headed idiots. He shifted his feet slightly as he got ready to shift and he started to growl lowly in his throat.

Kia's jaw went slack a little, impressed with the newbie's bravery or idiocy as he talked back to the guard. Maybe the two of them could find a way to break out together, that is if the growl emanating from him was a significant indication of his Talent. The guard didn't wait any longer, and shot him in the shoulder. Kia stepped back a bit as the tranq gun was pointed at her heart next. None of the employees ever took chances when it came to Kia and her wild spirit. Even the brawny guards knew that chemicals only affect her when hit directly in the heart. It's painful as hell, but it's not like she could stop the doctors.

When the guard started towards the others, Hailey pushed herself away from the wall and stepped closer to them. She twisted her hands anxiously as she looked form them to the guard and back. When he started to growl she tugged on his arm anxiously. "You're going to get into trouble." She warned him. "This isn't a good idea." She gasped when the guard shot him and turned the weapon onto Kia. His emotions when he looked at Kia were more wary than angry. "He's afraid of her." She said quietly when she realized what his emotions were.

(Sorry, had to do something c: )

Hunter felt the next shock, making a face that would only reveal one feeling: pain. He started moving his legs slightly, not know how long this will go.

Kian yelled as the dart hit him in the chest to avoid the pain taking full affect he shifted into a large black and white wolf, he was quite dizzy from the dart but he managed to stay on both legs even though he almost fell onto the others.
His wolf form was larger than a normal wolf and much more scary. He snarled at the guard to back off but knew he would not listen it was like talking or barking in his case at a brick walk.

After that shock, the doctor shook his head and gave Hunter a look of distaste. "You must be right." He told the lab assistant. "Let him go and bring me a mental Talent." The lab assistant nodded and unfastened Hunter from the seat. He led Hunter to the door and pushed it open. "Go to your cell." the assistant said. "You'll be let out for lunch shortly."

Hailey stepped back quickly when Kian turned into a wolf. "Oh my." She squeaked quietly. "That's surprising." She glanced at Kia with a worried look. She wasn't sure what was going to happen.

The guard fired another dart at Kian then fired at Kia as well. Hailey stepped back again when he turned to look at her as well and raised her hands. The lab assistant grabbed her arm and tugged her towards the lab. "You're coming with me." He said.

Hunter stumbled, looking back. He was relieved this was over. He silently walked back towards his cell.

Kian yelped slight as he hit with another dart but seeing that hailey was getting taken away he lifted his paw and scratch the lad assistant on the arm, granted it was a weak scratch but it was enough to draw blood. He watched them for a moment then fell down to the ground with a thud as the dart started to take affect.

It would be about an hour before he shifted back as the dart would probably last that long.

The lab assistant jerked his arm away with a hiss and released Hailey's arm. Hailey stepped back with wide eyes and the guard pushed her. "Go with him." He snapped. Lab assistants came in to move Kian and Kia into a room until they woke up and Hailey was taken into the lab. Before long she was strapped down in the chair that Hunter had just vacated. The doctor started hooking something up to her head as he calmly explained what he was doing. The lab assistant stepped back out into the other room and dismissed the rest of the people there for lunch.

Kia screamed as the dart's long needle pierced straight through to her heart. Her hands shook on their way up to press against the wound and she collapsed to her knees, the room tilting around her. Kia breathed hard and yanked the dart out of her skin with a whimper as black dots obscured her vision. The guards stalked toward her as she fell to the cold floor, violet eyes closing against her will. The last thing she sensed was the guard taking the dart from her hand and throwing her over his shoulder roughly as her wound healed.

Kia's bright eyes fluttered and winced against the flourescent light above her. She was strapped to a cold metal table by her wrists and ankles tightly. Kia moaned lightly, turning her head and squinting against the bright lights until she saw the guy from earlier lying beside her and strapped by titanium clamps rather than leather straps.

Kian opened one of his eyes and began to examine his surroundings it was all white, clean and had the smell of two much cleaner. He tried to lift his hand seeing that he had shifted back much quicker than he expected but could not as the grips help him tightly in place. "Great" he said to himself not knowing someone else was in the room with him.

"Yeah. Just wonderful." Kia mumbled, staring at him since he seemed unaware of her presence. Kia's bangs were bothering her and her light brown hair had come undone from its bun so it hung off the edge of the cold table. Kia shivered and asked the guy for his name hoping he knew that of himself at least.

"Oh your here to at least I won't get punished on my own" he said smiling weakly as he still felt dizzy from the dart. He tried to get his head straight so he could tell her his name then finally saying " names kian".

The cold metal of the table sent chills down his back that and it was the most uncomfortable think ever.
