Nanami never knew her biological parents. Ever since she could remember she was an orphan living at an orphanage. It was a large one with many children and it seemed that her kleptomania started because she needed to be able to survive in a place with a lot of other people where some got unnoticed. She would steal in order to get food or cloths, or whatever she needed though usually in the house so it didn't cause too many issues.
She started to grow up and, unlike others, she wasn't getting adopted. When she was old enough, she started to help take care of the other orphans. At this point she was a young teenager and they figured she would never get adopted because she was now too old. The place figured they would just keep her until she was 18 and then let her go off on her own. They didn't take much care of her though so it was always like she was on her own to begin with.
That was until a man came, asking for an older child. That child ended up being her since she was actually the oldest there. His name was Ryuuji Kudo and next thing Nanami knew, she was adopted. However, he wanted to use her in his thieving schemes. It was only going to be a few but Ryuuji saw potential in her. Thus, he decided to start training her.
However, their relationship was strange. They did seem to care for each other like a daughter and father would, but sometimes Ryuuji was distant to her. She found out the reason when he decided to leave her alone once she was 18, just like the orphanage would have done. She didn't understand and that caused her to have mixed feelings. She loved him as her father, but also was angry for him leaving her. After that, she went living on her own and doing whatever she wanted. She started to become a better thief and in the end, she became a very good one, one that stole some pretty important things and was wanted by the police.

I grew up in high class i guess. My father was my mentor and successfull conman, he thought me everything i know. History
There was nothing extraordinary or special about Kin Oshiro's life, but rather the source or to be more exact, the situation that led up to it. It all started when her father, both biological and in name, Kazehaya Oshiro was merely an officer working under the Minister of Education at that time, few years before Kira was born. He was just like any other man, looking for a way to earn more money and possibly start a new family with a woman he had fallen in love with- Vera Ivanov, a Russian photographer.
As the years went by, three to be exact, that was when Kazehaya Oshiro reached the epitome of his career as an officer. He was given the opportunity to become the next Minister of Education for the country. He was ecstatic obviously and couldn't wait to tell his girlfriend of the good news, but alas, she was with child. His rightful career has just started and this happens? He couldn't let it. What if someone finds out? All these years of hard work would be down the drain. As such, he did what he had to do- break it off with Vera, took in the child as an 'adoption' for publicity and paid Vera an amount for compensation. That was it.
A year later, Kazehaya Oshiro was happily married to the daughter of a rich business man, Minami Takahiro, and together, they both raised Kin Oshiro as their 'adopted' child together. Kanako doesn't stick to rules or guidelines she is a rebelwho trusts her own intuition. She has a hard time trusting other people's gut feelings or hearts, she doesn't think anyone should just go off of feeling without thinking and having hard facts. Kanako had parents who worked on computers for living. Her dad repaired computers and wrote codes and her darling mother worked for the government. They both worked 9 to 5 and made a decent living. Kanako still remembers sitting on her dad's lap at the age of 5 watching him write codes and play with computers. She was loved by her parents, she was raised happily.
By the age of 12 Kanako showed her great skills at computers. She was helping her dad after hours fix computers and she begun writing her own codes.
It was about the age of 14 that she stopped for a bit. Kanako wore glasses, turtle necks, and was the biggest nerd there ever was. She was bullied a lot and decided to make a change. She stopped messing with computers for almost a year, she changed her wardrobe, found some good friends, and there went the nerd status.
She still enjoyed computers but hated the bullying, she started to invest her time into reading. She read everything, from fantasy to biographies. She didn't want to touch a computer again so she spent time ready everything in the library she could get her hands on.
It wasn't until she was almost 15 that she played with a computer again. She had a close friend who was now being bullied herself, except it was online bullying. It was driving her friend insane and Kanako even found a suicide note from her friend. Kanako couldn't take it so she decided to break out her computer skills. Yes, she was very rusty at first. She had been playing with computers for such a long time but stopping for almost a year had made learning how to hack a little difficult. Luckily things like social media have proven time and time again to be thickle.
So Kanako hacked into the fake accounts mocking her friend and found the actual human sources. But when Kanako went to the school administration with this information they did nothing. Neither did any parent or police department. So what was she supposed to do? Kanako decided it was time to take matters into her own hands.
Funny how the people who hurt others and share everyone else's secrets often have the most to be shared.
Kanako took the people tormenting her friend down by hacking their own files, personal emails, texts, everything you could imagine. She spread the information wide, all the photos and awful secrets.
Kanako decided then that she did like computers after all. She didn't go back to her nerd clothes, but she was more proud of her skills. She then started to read more books about coding, hacking, programming, everything about computers. And she began her life once again as a newly reformed rebel rouser.
Because of the mistreatment of her friend from authorities this helped spark her into wanting to work for someone official, like the government. She didn't want anyone else to have go to go through this same pain that her friend did. Kanako's favorite jobs are the ones that involve justice and getting things right for people.
She does have a secret though, something that kind of darkens her past. Her father went missing on her 18th birthday and has been missing for the last 3 years. Kanako and her mother do not speak about it and since her mother works for the government they filed a police report within them. It's very much on the down low as Kanako and her mother fear he could be being held for blackmail since her mother works in a higher up position in the government. To clarify, she works on the firewall computer systems to protect foreign countries from hacking into servers of the government.
They have yet to hear anything about her father and all they know he could have just up and left them. Kanako spends any extra time she has trying to trace him.

History
Kei was born a twin to a loving mother and father. His twin sister was named Keika. Keika and Keita were perfectly identical and spent their youth becoming perfectly in sync, they ate the same thing, bathed the same time, liked the same things and befriended the same people.
Once Keita and Keika got to their freshman year of high school they started to grow apart. Kei wanted to continue as they have been calm, cool, and members of the go home club. Keika took her high school debut seriously and changed completely. She joined the theater club and was fully immersed in it. Keika worked hard in the theater club and eventually landed the biggest role of her life. She practiced till late every day and even forced Keita to help run her lines.
Keita and Keika continued doing their own thing that is until Keika got sick. Keika was diagnosed with a rare disease that caused her to lose her motor functions. While in the hospital Keika begged her brother to dress up as her and to take over her role as the lead, she begged and pleaded but Keita refused. Keika begged every time Keita would visit, she bothered him so much that Keita lost his temper and yelled at Keika for the first time of his life. He Left the hospital and before he closed the door he said "I wish I wasn't your twin." Keita didn't visit the hospital after that.
Months past and the play went on without Keika as she sat in the hospital getting progressively weaker. One day when Keita got home from school he was greeted by his parents and was told that his sister had past away. His parents went to the hospital and grieved over her body that's when Keita found the notes she had written to Keita. Most of them were normal notes about being bored and wanting to go places except the last one. It was covered in what looked like tear marks, it said how Keika was mad that she couldn't participate in her once in a lifetime role and even though Keita didn't visit and he hated her she wanted to let him know that she loved him.
Keita finally cried, he cried and yelled out his sisters name. He begged and pleaded with God to bring her back, he said he'd even dress as Keika and do the play. After the funeral Keita spent a lot of time in Keika's room he would dress as her and look in the mirror trying to somehow see his sister again. A few months later Keita came to school as Keika however it was as if it was Keika. Keita embodied her personality perfectly he went around pretending to be her and most people who didn't know she was dead believed him. His parents were called and they sent Keita to a mental institution.
Once in the mental institution Keita would transfer between his personality and Keika's. It was the only way he could cope with his sister being dead, he always blamed himself for her death. A few years later after therapy and forgiveness Keita learned to cope with Keika's loss. He dedicated his life to fulfilling Keika's dream of being an actress. He became a popular model and started taking on minor roles in drama's. He was called the greatest actor in history, he was able to play all the male roles as well as some feminine roles. He was later approached by the organization asking him to be apart of something bigger.

"Well, I don't have a super-tragic backstory, if that's what you're hoping for. My life hasn't been a breeze, but it's that way for most people, isn't it?
I've been smart since I was a kid. I always excelled in school, even skipping second and third grade. While I excelled in my studies, my relationships with others were... lacking, at best. I mean, I was fine with it. But it only got worse with the onset of my OCD. Before, I mostly chose not to interact with most people, but suddenly it wasn't my choice. People actively avoided associating with me because I was 'crazy' and 'broken'. I mean, how would you feel?

Yuuna was the youngest daughter of five. Her parents were both busy accountants who had barely any time to be with their children, and left their oldest daughter in charge of their other daughters.

Tama was born in a normal family, until her parents broke up when she was 6. She was in her room alot and started playing with a computer she got from her grandparents. Tama started learning as much as she could. She would spend entire days locked in her room learning from her online friends. When she turned 11 she was among the best hackers in her group of friends. Hitomi was born to a rich family as the second oldest child. Her parents were harsh on her and expected perfection at everything she did. They pushed her and didn't let her enjoy her childhood much. However, their pushing most likely was the reason she is as smart as she is. She read a lot, studied a lot and learned a lot. Instead of getting to play, she was off learning about something.
After her two younger sisters were born, Hitomi started to fade from the limelight though in a different way. They were still harsh on her but her parents spent most of their attention on the younger siblings. They weren't hard on her younger sisters and seemed to pamper them. It was almost like Hitomi wasn't wanted.
She later found out that she really wasn't wanted. She was actually a child of her father's affair so her mother didn't like her at all. Her father just saw shame for what he did when he saw Hitomi so they worked her hard to make up for it. They figured if she became smart, then it would make up for the sin. She doesn't know her biological mother because her father threw her out of his life right after Hitomi arrived.
Hitomi questions why her father kept her then, but it has something to do with his reputation and not having the biological mother have proof of his infidelity. After she started to grow older, Hitomi decided to leave her parents behind and just live her own life.

Jin is mostly known for his rather flirty persona. It may come out as a shock to find out that he actually does seduce men and women alike, hence why he is recruited as a grifter. He is also someone who dislikes or to be more exact, not approving of permanency and 'settling down'. As such, he tends to either hop jobs quite a bit or pertain to a particular job that requires him only occasionally. He can also come off as rude as he is very demanding and knows exactly what he wants and how he wants it done. Hence why he is also very decisive and stubborn. That is not to say that he is a rigid person but he does prefer having things done the proper way, or rather, his way.
A hidden trait of his is the fact that he is incredibly sadistic and enjoy inflicting pain onto others who deserve so. As ironic as it may seem, he only ever have fun portraying sadism towards his opponents and of course, his partners of romance. With that being said, he is quite a laid back personality outside of work and if one is tensed up or is in need of fun, he is the man to go to.

History
Growing up a child to a religious, Father Nakuya, Jin spent most of his life either residing at home or at religious school. Being a Christian Japanese was quite rare as he lived in a small village/ province outside of Yokohoma. He was the eldest child out of the three children his parents had- one younger brother and one middle sister. His life was not the normal child's one as he didn't actually live with his parents as a child. Because he was enrolled in a religious school, his father thought it was most appropriate to 'discipline' the eldest son to independence from a young age by living in the school's dorms. As such, he never really spend much time with his siblings and his mother. Having his father one of the teachers in the school.
Jin Nakuya was the ace student of the school, having envied by many students. However, he only wished to live a normal life. And to his family, he did until Jin found out that his father was actually not who Jin thought he was. Father Nakuya was a religious figure who swindled money out of the local church he was parish in for many, many years. Not only that, he had also manipulated the teachings the school had run for the past two decades in accordance to what he wanted them to believe in: The real world was bad and God would only save you if you never left this place. Having found that out as a teenager, he ran away from home to start a new life of his own.
A life without 'God'.
Working extremely hard in part time jobs, he managed to save up money to own a low-cost flat in the suburbs of Tokyo. At the age of 21, he changed his surname to Nobunaga as to ensure that his father wouldn't be able to look for him immediately even if he wanted to.
When he was 22, he found out that Father Nakuya had actually been arrested for second degree manslaughter of his mother. After having been exposed of his swindling, he was stripped away from his position of being a priest and was jailed for a few months, alongside a fine. The buildup of his career resulted in a defeated let down and one day, he snapped.
So did his mother when his father strangled her. Jin vouches to find Father Nakuya who is on the run and teach him one thing: The real wrath of God.
