If you're not sure, it would be best to discuss it in the OOC thread. That way posts don't get lost in the wrong place.

Darcia flapped her wings once more as she glided in the sky. She was able to find sleep in the end. But she had realized she had forgotten something at her home. So she decided to make a flight back and return in the same night. However.. when she got home and said goodbye to her bed... she fall asleep.

She was caring a few bags with her. Some contained clothes, some general things and some jars which she was planning to put in shells is they would come across some.
She had also brought some books with her. There were some which she didn't like but she promised her Dad go without them.
On her back she had Fishing Rod and Scythe wrapped in bandages tied. It was pretty hard to fly back with the extra weight and be early but she managed to come at the harbor.

When she landed down she didn't see many people yet and the boat was still laying in the waters. "Thank god I'm not to late" she sighed out. With a relieved sight she dropped her bags on the ground and sat down next to them while she toke of the weapon from her back and decided to polish it for she might need to use it when they would find sea monsters. The scythe belonged to her Dad as well she had loved it since the first day she saw it. She even learned how to fight with it. She never had used it outside of practice.

"Better get you cleaned up then" Darcia mumbled and smiled slightly as she looked down at the weapon.

Charlotte hung in the edge of the forests. Her black fur was easily camouflaged in the shadows of the forest. She kept low, her belly against the forest floor and her ears flattened as she kept an eye on a ship. She still wasn't sure if the crew would even except her if she went. After all she was a rogue Alpha Female. Why would they? The best she imagined she could do was only watch the ship with crystal blue eyes. She ignored any small creatures movement and focused on that ship. Even if she knew they wouldn't except she would help with any danger that came to them, or the ship.

Anything to get these damned monsters away. One of her only friends since leaving the pack had been attacked and killed by one and she was in such shock that when the time came, she couldn't do anything about it. She held the poor girl in her arms as she breathed her last breath and that's when she had decided she wanted them dead. It was only what they deserved, the monsters.

Just thinking of it had her growling, her fangs bared. The only person who ever cared about her was dead, and she would be on hell on Earth if she didn't return the favor. But the wariness of rejection of the crew lingered in her heart. What could she possibly do?

The screeching of seagulls brough Scottie out of his slumber and he yawned as he sat up in the crow's nest. He was still slightly groggy and the sounds coming from the deck didn't register to him while he pulled out a half empty water bottle from his bag. Taking a few gulps, the harpy pulled himself on his feet and gazed at the sea stretching around the ship. His mouth suddenly felt dry and Scottie downed the rest of the water with one go. Honestly, he was too nervous to eat so he was content with his 'breakfast' as it was for now.

Needing to get the stiffness away from his limbs, the young harpy climbed onto the ledge and calmly jumped into the air. Enjoying the wind rushing against his skin, Scottie flew higher up in the air before letting himself fall downwards. The ground came closer and closer with every passing second and adrenalin started pumping through the harpy's veins. A fun way to stretch his limbs and get him awake and alert.

Pulling up before the ground was too close, Scottie took a bit more altitude before making a loop in the air. Flying was fun alright, he kind of pitied those who couldn't do it. With a smile on his face, the winged male landed on a roof of a nearby building as he let his gaze wander while trying to avoid looking at the sea where the ship he'd be sailing resided. He'd regret his decision sooner or later but he wouldn't back out anymore. He couldn't.

After some minutes watching the moon and thinking about the trip, it was already time to come back and get some rest; Okami still needed to recruit more men for the ship. He jumped from the roof, when he landed on the hard ground he proceeded to enter to the Inn again, the men inside where confused because they never saw him going out, but after some seconds they turned back their attention to their business.

After some hours of rest, Okami woke up, the first thing that he did was to take a quick breakfast and leave the Inn, he went to the ship and noticed the awake harpy, it wasn't really of his business, he had to recruit more men, he didn't knew where else he could go, there wasn't a lot of people willing to go to the Sea of Monsters. He walked a bit before his enhanced senses aware him of something looking at his direction from the woods.

"When are you going to show yourself?" He said to the unknown presence staring at the ship from the woods.

Charlotte shifted and yelped as there was increased pain on her left hind leg. She looked back to watch a small black snake slither away. "Shit." she murmured. She prayed it wasn't poisoness. She stayed low feeling as if she'd blown her profile. Her ears were flat against her head as she layed it on her paws. Her leg was hurting , a lot. She grimaced. She felt pretty faint too. She shifted into her human form and pulled her knees to her chest. Her head rested on her knees.
"Oh goddess please help me.." she murmured quickly

Okami looked at the girl in the woods and decided to get closer, he asked something to her, but she didn't responded, he heard her murmur, "Tsch...It seems like i will have to take the step" He thought as he walked toward the woods. Doing this was annoying for him, but, he was bored and he knew she was a lycanthrope, it was a bit weird to see so much lycanthropes in that area (Yes, three lycanthropes are a lot).

"Hey...come here" He said to the female, this was his last call, he doesn't really care about it, if she doesn't come he will turn around and go.

That night and the following morning had been restless. Anger and frustration plagued Reneth most of the night leaving her shop in ruins, a victim of her anger, and her mind exhausted, as she ran over every possibility and every course of action. Part of her wanted to flee, if she rode hard through the night she would reach Alree's house by high sun, another two days hard ride and she could reach Talrec's and another four days after that should would be at Grelgar's place. But cold reason kept her rooted. Even if she could make it out of her own house without being spotted by the men she knew would be watching the chances she could reach each of her friends without being spotted and without someone realizing that she had skipped out on the ship were slim on the best day but nearly zero for the rest of the time. Besides she could not in good conscience uproot their lives simply because she refused this task, she had faced danger before and she expected that this would be no different.

Morning came too early but true to her word Reneth was packed and locking up her shop by first light. She did not carry much on her, an old rucksack with clothes and various personal effects, and a finely carved, heavily scratched wooden chest that held different healing supplies; bandages, salves, needles, thread, and other little odds and ends a healer couldn't be without. The walk to the docks was not overly long, it actually seemed far to short for her taste, indeed she wished that she could have spent a little more time wandering the streets and enjoying the swirling colors of the market place. The salt of the water reached her nose before either the crash of waves or the sight of the sails peeking over the roof tops. Most days the smell and cool wind that blew in from the harbor would be a comfort of sorts, today it only succeeded in making her more grim. It did not take her very long to locate the boat she had been signed onto. These days not many were sailing out, even with the large potential awards to pass beyond the safety of a familiar port might cost you your crew, your boat, and your life. That and the name of boat was proclaimed loudly upon the hull.

There were not many people around and for a moment she thought the boat deserted but just as she moved to go to the nearby inn a stocky dwarf clambered up onto the deck. Stifling the smile that threatened to break her gloom Reneth gave the dwarf a few moments to get himself dressed before she called out.

"Oye! Sailor! Is the Captain about?" Any worse a mood she might have just clambered aboard without giving a thought to what anyone, even the Captain, thought. However she decided that it might be best to show a little professionalism. As she waited for the reply she glanced about, noticing more and more of what she guessed was the crew appearing from all around. First glance did not did not give her the best impression, the ones she spotted so far were hardly more than kids. So far the dwarf she had called out to seemed the only one who had real any experience. Time would tell but she had a feeling that this would be a long boat ride.

Charlotte [BCOLOR=#000000]blinked at the male. She shivered. He had a slight iciness to him. Just like her parents. She stood stepping back a little almost ready to take off. She wouldn't hesitate to fight the male if it came to it, she was an Alpha. But being as weak as she was she would surely lose the fight. Her skin had grown pale and she'd lost a lot of weight. She wouldn't appear a Alpha to others. Her eyes flickered crimson orange from her regular ice blue color. She bared her fangs in warning. "What do you want?"[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=#000000]Her instincts told her to kill or run. But she at least wanted to attempt a chance at humanity[/BCOLOR]

The Captain steeped out of hjs room in the inn. Going downstairs, each wooden step creaking as he went, he asked for a drink. He got a Serpent's Venom (A cocktail made with sour fruit juices, Cactus berries, and laced with a tiny bit of sea serpent venom [it is not deadly, but does produce slightly hallucinogenic effects if taken in a large amount] ) He downs the drink as he steps outside, he is completely ready to go. Wihth four flintlock pistols in his holsters and two cutlasses at his side. He strides over to the Serpent and steps on board, her black and gold hull proudly diplayed among the blandly colored ships at the docks. The black leather sails were tied up at the top. He then took note of someone calling for the Captain. He looked over the edge. "You the one who I got the letter about?"

Carrn shook out his hair and turned slightly, stooped over enough to start sticking his leg into his pants, when a human voice echoed out, asking him about the captain. He tugged up his pants and secured the string that held them around his thick hips, and then opened his mouth to speak.

But then the captain was there and talking to her, so Carrn shrugged slightly and turned away, double-checking that everything on the deck was strapped down properly for the journey. He noted the harpy boy flying about and shuddered just a little. Flying. He'd never understood why anyone would want to fly around. At least in the water you couldn't miss a wingbeat and plummet to your death.

Regardless, he had duties to attend to and the boy had flapped off to roost on a building some distance away. He let out a low "bah," frustrated that there was no one else on deck to prepare, and clambered up onto the life-boat resting on the deck to check it for possible weaknesses.

Okami stared at girl close to him with a serious gaze, this wasn't a normal thing for him, but that wasn't going to take him apart of his objective, "Uhm...Why where you staring at the ship?", where his cold words, the girl was almost crying, but that wasn't going to make him act softer or kind, he noticed her words "Thank you", this was the first time in his life that someone thanks to him, neither Kryos or any "client" has thank him before, but, for some reason, it wasn't different, he felt the same, it seems like there isn't a sign of kindness or humanity that could make him soft and decent. "Answer the question" He said to the young lady next to him.

((I deleted my last reply and edited the one when he stepped into the woods telling her to come here))

Enjoying the fresh morning breeze on his skin and feathers, Scottie wasn't in a hurry to get off the roof of the random building he had landed on. Moving to sit on the edge, the boy sighed as he closed his eyes and just focused on the smell and sounds of the sea. He knew he was safe at a good distance away but his heartbeat still increased in speed against his will as his thoughts drifted off to the time the waters almost claimed his life. Instead of trying to push the slight nervousness away, the harpy welcomed it.

His father had always told him how it was okay to be scared and nervousness only made you more alert but Scottie had never really listened his old man and those conversations always ended up with the young harpy yelling at his father how he wasn't scared of anything. Honestly, the outcome would still be the same if his father was there to lecture him. The young male still refused to admit being scared but at least he acknowledged the fact he was nervous which was a step in the right direction.

Opening his eyes, Scottie rested his gaze on the ship at the dock. He couldn't spot much movement on the deck so the harpy just assumed most of the crew was yet to arrive for the day which meant he was in no hurry to get back. However, he changed his mind after watching a very short man move onboard. He was part of the crew, was he not, so it would probably be common sense to check if help was needed to prepare the ship for the journey. More than that, Scottie was interested in what the figure on the deck was up to.

Lazily gliding over to the ship, the harpy recognized the short man as the dwarf from the previous day and he seemed to be on a life boat that was resting on deck. Scottie landed beside the life boat soundlessly and with accuracy, exactly where he intended to. Peeking into the small vessel, the harpy spoke with curiosity.

"What're you doing?"

Okami gave a gaze at the young female in front of him, Two questions...What is a lycantrope doing in this area & why where you staring at the ship", Okami said to the girl, he fastly focused his mind again anf thought about the crew members, he still needs to find more sailors to join the crew, "This situation could end in some different ways...", he thought as he turned his head to watch The Serpent, in that moment he noticed that two, maybe three of the members where already awake.

"I must do something, if you are going to response...follow me", he said to the lady, he wasn't willing to waste time there; he was going to recruit more sailors with the lady next to him if needed.

Charlotte followed but at a distance. "Honestly? Watching over the crew. My best friend was murdered by one of the sea monsters out there." She spoke. She didn't want him to think she'd been stalking him, or anyone else in the crew. "I just want to be sure the monsters die." A growl rose in her chest at the thought of sinking her fangs into one of the dirty aliens. She had little notice that her canines were bared and her fists balled. Her heart was beating at a fast rate. She needed to calm down a little so she took a deep breath.

The dwarf yelped and fell over backwards, sliding down and getting wedged between the edge of the life-boat and the railing of the ship, his legs jutting up into the air and kicking about for a moment. Then he stopped and recognized the voice, and said

"By all that swims in the deep, bird-boy, make some noise first!" Blasted kid, sneaking up on him like that! What's the matter with people these days? Unable to climb out properly, the dwarf wedged his hands against the railing and gave a sharp push, forcing the life-boat back a few inches. he fell then, and his head thunked on the deck, but that didn't stop a dwarf. He was up in a moment, clambering back on top of the upside-down rowboat, staring at the harpy.

"And to answer ye question, I'm makin' sure this tub is sea-worthy! Always good to make sure the life-boats aren't death-boats, ye hear?" He took another look at the boat, and nodded. "It be sound, so now we gotta check that all the ties and such are in place."

He then took a look at the ropes tied to the eye-hooks on the life-boat. "If'n we wanna get this pup into the water quickly, we need to be able to tow her up by pulley." He pointed at the pulley secured to one of the arms of the mast that they could use to hoist the rowboat into the air and over the side, if they needed to.

Okami heard the girl's words, this could be a good oportunity to increase the number of members in the crew, "Oh...So you want them dead...I can help you with that", he said to her as he gave a look to the sky, it was shiny and there wasn't even a cloud, a lot of light was covering the entire place, but that wasn't weird because it was soon in the morming, he walked forward, heading to the dock where the ship was located, there he heard the dwarf yelling to the male harpy.

It was morning and they where making noise alrady. Okami gave a little smile because he knew something, when you see people so noisy in the morning, it's because they are full of energy; and they are going to need that energy when the ship sails; "Vengance, joy, dispear, love, hate...Very important feelings in the human life...Most of these characters seems to have them, i may use them for the mission", he thought as he looked to the sea.

Charlotte followed in silence. There was no need to talk. She just nodded. Obviously she was being accepted into the pack. That was the greatest gift she could have. She dug her hands into her pockets sniffing the air. The salt water called to her. A breeze swept around her kissing her hair with the smell of the sea. She wondered what it would be like when the ship was moving.
