The 7 Dreaded.jpg

The Great Lands of Khartouma are fraught with hardship, strife and war. Split among the sands are small kingdoms and tribes...but at the heart of it all is the Argosian Empire. In legend it is known as the birthplace of civilization itself. To the outlying realms it goes by many names..."Eye Of The World", "City Of Shadows" and "The Demon's Refuge". Argosian is lorded over by it's monstrous and tyrannical ruler, Nastor, The One Deified. An evil demigod, Nastor is the son of the demonic deity Scarr-Talos, lord of the Ninth Realm of the Abyss. For some over twenty five years Nastor has ruled supreme, his power absolute...legions of monsters, demon soldiers and evil creatures under his command. His cruelty is legendary throughout the Great Lands, his subjects living in perpetual fear. But Nastor’s days may be numbered, for he has a vengeful enemy brewing just under his gaze. You see we are that enemy...seven siblings, whose father was ruthlessly murdered by Nastor in his bid to take over the throne of the Argosian Empire. Bound by an oath of vengeance, we seven siblings are coming for you Nastor, ready or not. For we are your, Seven Dreaded...

He was adopted by the chieftain of The Blight, known as Tavvin the Feared. Retaining almost no memory of his former life...Jericho has blocked out the bloody revolt that led to his father's death and his identity as a prince of Argosian. All he knows is the blood soaked life amongst The Blight. Tavvin and his fellow Blightsmen, molded young Jericho into a fierce and fearless warrior...Tavvin even teaching his adopted son the fighting art of The Chakra, the deadliest known combat discipline in all the land and was devised by the god Kharderach, who is an elder deity of the Compendium Of Chaos. One must survive the Trails in order to become a full fledged member of The Blight. However Jericho did one better, he not only survived the vicious ordeal, but finished first, earning the immense respect of his father, tribesmen and of Kharderach himself. To locate his lost siblings, liberate all of Khartouma from the tyranny of Nastor and avenge his biological father's murder.

Name: Richsam, Son of Nitri
Height: 5’5
Age: 19
Tribe: The Black Church
Weapon(s): Richsam usually carries an assortment of daggers throughout his clothing as one can never be too certain… He has to keep his enemies guessing and that, he does. A simple looking sword rests in its sheath on his back and despite how it looks it’s said to be blessed by a god… The sword, Shak as it is known, seems to speak with the environment itself.
Special Abilities/Powers: Richsam is extremely agile and quick due to his small size, he’s hard to keep track of and hard to keep up with. It’s almost unnatural in a way.
His sword, Shak, seems to cause disasters if Richsam is trying to run away… They almost seem natural, as if nature meant it to be.

Bio: Richsam was born the youngest son of King Darris, he was born the runt of the litter if you will. The boy was born a month before he was supposed to and sent away almost immediately, left in the Land of the Black Sand where The Black Church, an infamous assassin group, found him.

The Black Church took him in, trained him, and taught him the ways of a warrior who works in the shadows. He has no memory of his older siblings or parents at all, as far as he knows he is an only child. His parents never loved him and he has no siblings...All of that will change very soon though.

Tribe: The Ebon

Weapon: A obsidian point spear named Sapience

Special Abilities/Powers: A skilled user in the elements of Fire and wind. Sapience is infused with the magic of the wind deity, aiding her in elemental mastery.

Bio: As the first born daughter of King Darris and third in line for the throne, she along with her siblings paid witness to the betrayal of the king and was sent away from the capital.

At the age of 7 she was taken in by The Ebon, a group of strong hunters and devout worshipers of the Elemental spirits settled in the deep forests southwest of the Argosian Empire. The tribe quickly became her new family, raising her as one of their own and teaching her the art of the hunt. Her father's death had left an impact on her life, even though she had been young, the actions of her older brother and uncle had left a sour taste in her mouth. Navvi pushed herself to become the strongest hoping to one day claim the head of the men who had killed her father, pushing herself into long training sessions and praying to the divine elementals for the strength to accomplish just that.

Determined to gain the favor of those she worshiped, she left her home in the forest at the age of 17, travelling up the coast and helping those in need for 3 full years. Seeing Navvi's determination the Spirit of Wind gifted her Sapience, a weapon infused with the Spirits power, and sent her back to the Ebon to await a fated encounter with those shared her goals.

(Okay I fixed it.yay!)

Cool, both characters accepted. Hopefully this'll get more interested players.

Name:
Sandria Gotfrid

Height:
5'4

Age:
27

Physical Appearance:

1d424d8d09b9bb8450ba55bf68a1a0da.jpg

Tribe:
Sun-Spear Tribe

Weapon(s):
The Sun-Stone, a heavy mace

Special Abilities/Powers:
Her powers come from the High Celestials. By praying to them she can cast holy magic and heal those around her, make them momentarily stronger, or imbue her mace with holy power to smite her foes.

Bio:
Sandria, the second daughter to King Darris was born as a twin to Sir David, and was taken away around the same time to The Monolith where she was given to the Sun-Spear tribe, a people that settled around the ancient structure and made themselves its wardens. She was given to a small family and there she learned their customs and traditions; her mind having blocked out the trauma and the horror of her old home.

At the age of ten, her foster family in sacrifice to the Celestials, gave Sandria up to the Monolith, which had been fashioned as a Temple to the deities. Her life wasn’t easy within the temple: filled with constant mundane chores, doing the bidding of the priests and priestesses. But she endured, telling herself she was given to the gods and they would perhaps reward her for her perseverance.

And they did. At the age of twenty, while praying at the altar, she heard the voices of the Celestials, felt their presence around her. They told her she was chosen by them, that her future and past had drawn them to her. When she asked what they meant, they said nothing, and instead gave her their first boon. The ability to cast holy magic. Thus, Sandria became the healer of the Sun-Spear tribe; clearing ailments and diseases to all that came to her. Blessing the warriors of her tribe and granting wisdom to the Elders.

Seven years of prosperity passed. Then, the Celestials visited her in her dream. A command was given. She was to leave her people and accomplish her destiny. When she asked what it was, they only pointed towards a direction, telling her to follow and answers would come. Donning what armour she had, and taking Sun-Stone, her mace, with her she left the Monolith.

I will take on a second character which will bring the roster to six. Would anyone else be willing to take on a second sibling?

Name: Cayden Thoth' Arr
Height: 6' 0
Age: 27
Physical Appearance: 0235758256e12c0d73df0b2505708745.jpg

Tribe: The Monks Of Kel' Kadesh
Weapon(s): Mire Root Long Bow, Straight sword
Special Abilities/Powers: Master Archer, proficient hand to hand combatant

Bio:

Cayden was born the fourth son of King Darris and as such served as a middle child of sorts. Darris was an ardent disciple of Kel' Kadesh, an Elder deity in the courts of the High Celestials. Kel' Kadesh was a wise and just god who represented the fundamentals of order and harmony throughout the cosmos. As a result, King Darris began to study with the Monks Of Kel' Kadesh, an elite order of warrior priests who resided in the jagged cliffs within the Forbidden Dunes. The Monks pledged themselves to serving the benign god and championed his motifs of order, harmony, balance and just fairness. Noble ideals that Darris sought to emulate in his rule of the Argosian Empire. Such was the king's adoration and devotion to Kel' Kadesh and the order, that he pledged to give one of his sons to be raised and molded by the Monks in service to Kel' Kadesh...and so it was that when his son, Cayden, was born, Darris dedicated the infant to the High Celestial and handed him over to the elite priesthood.

From the time he could walk, Cayden was forged with the ideals and elite training of a Monk of Kel'Kadesh. The Monks signature weapon and fighting style is that of combat archery, since Kel' Kadesh is known as the archer of the gods. The Monks also have adopted the same last name of Thoth' Arr, which translates to "Divine Archer" after Kel' Kadesh himself who is indeed known as the Divine Archer. The Monks are master archers and are known to be the best bowmen in all of Khartouma. Cayden was no exception, as the boy was taught how to handle a bow and arrow from the time he could first pick them up.
Unfortunately, when Cayden was four years old, Nastor's bloody siege of the Argosian Empire took place, which resulted in his father being slain and him never knowing his lineage or ever meeting the rest of his family. The Monks decided not divulge Cayden's true identity to him and carried on with his training...resigning to let fate and destiny reveal the truth to the boy when the time deemed worthy. When Cayden was fourteen, he underwent his "pilgrimage" a term used by the Monks to describe the grueling journey all their members had to endure as a test of their manhood. Cayden had to trek to the western forests of Khartouma to seek the special Mire Root trees. The wood from these trees are blessed with special properties of durability and healing. It is from this specific wood that all Monks are required to fashion their long bows from. It was a perilous quest, but Cayden made it through and secured the wood from a Mire Root, forging his weapon from it's wood.

Cayden has grown into one of the order's most gifted archers, his feats with the bow and arrow are almost unmatched, even among the Monks themselves. But although he is a master bowman and a very capable fighter, Cayden believes deeply in the ideals of the
priesthood and in his spiritual devotion to Kel' Kadesh. He strives to promote harmony and balance and communes in silent meditation to his god on a daily basis. Cayden believes in being at peace within one's spirit. He has become the epitome of what it means to be a devoted spiritual servant and a warrior of the highest class.

Just waiting on @Ur Degaton to make an intro post, don't wanna jump to far ahead before everyone has had a chance to interact. Also I'll be making some additions to the Lore section in the next few days. Nothing major, just a few spotlights on some key members of the various pantheons of the numerous gods and goddesses. Speaking of which, I'm also looking for suggestions for some cool sounding primeval/esoteric sounding names form some of these deities. If you think you have some badass sounding names, don't be shy, lol.
