HIERARCHY OF THE GODS
The Elder Ones- The Creators of all existence, the supreme gods. Most of them are patron gods of virtuous endeavors such as wisdom, patience and loyalty. Xsaster for example, is the patron god of divine justice.

The Elemental Spirits- Four lesser deities and siblings who govern the essence of water, fire, earth and wind. Two, Water and Wind...commune with the Elder Ones and are known as patient, generous and benign gods. However the other two, Fire and Earth...have a kinship with the Compendium of Chaos and are known to be brash, hot tempered and impulsive deities.

Compendium of Chaos- A group of lesser gods who are responsible for the uncertain and acts of destruction and dis order throughout the cosmos.

The Jaded Oracles- The watchers, time keepers and guardians of past, present and future knowledge. They are forbidden by The Elder Ones from directly interfering with mortal affairs.

Lords of the Nine Realms of the Abyss- The Underworld split into nine sections, each section lorded over by a set of demonic brothers who are constantly at civil war with each other.

Name: Jericho "Son Of Herron"

Age: 31

Height: 6'2

Physical Appearance:Jeri 2.jpg

Weapon(s):
The blade "Ascendance"

Tribe: The Blight

Special Power: Keeper of the mystical "Scales Of Xsaster", which can weigh a mortal's transgressions against their good deeds. If the transgressions outweigh their good deeds, the subject can be driven insane.

Bio: Jericho was born into The Blight, a desert dwelling tribe of cut throats, barbarians and assassins. He is the son of the tribe's cheiftian, Herron. Almost from birth, Jericho was forged into a warrior, his father training him in the almost supernatural fighting art of the "Chakra", a combat discipline rumored to be passed down from the gods of war themselves. Headstrong and impetuous, and at the behest of his fellow tribesman, Jericho foolishly challenged his father for leadership of The Blight when he was only eighteen. It was a long hard battle, but Jericho was soundly defeated. Herron couldn't bring himself to kill his only son and instead banished the young warrior from the tribe.

Jericho wandered the deserts for many years, all the while honing and perfecting his fighting skills. Than the call went out. Xsaster, one of the Elder Gods himself put forth an edict. He was looking for seven of the best warriors in all the land to serve as his personal acolytes. Needless to say, Jericho answered and competed in what was to be known as The Trials Of Xsaster, a brutal contingent of obstacles designed to weed out those deemed unworthy. For seven days, Jericho competed against thousands of other warriors in a death race to the finish line. Blood soaked, exhausted and weary, Jericho made it to the end along with six other warriors. Xsaster himself appeared and deemed the finishing seven, his acolytes...his Seven Dreaded. Each of the seven received a special weapon and power granted to them.

Jericho recieved his prized blade, which he named Ascendance. The weapon was forged in the fires of the celestial realms and therefore is impervious to harm and completely immune to all forms of sorcery. It can cut through anything and never needs to be sharpened. In addition he was made the keeper of the Scales. A divine implement he can materalize at will that instantly judges a person's transgressions against their good deeds. If they are judged "guilty" they instantly suffer a paralyzing insanity for as long as Jericho deems. Now the Seven Dreaded wander from kingdom to kingdom, judging it's ruler's on the authority of Xsaster. If they are judged guilty, the Seven are tasked with de throning the monarch at all costs.

VALASA NADARIAN

The Executioner
Age: 28

Height: 5'11''

Weapon(s): An iron staff that to her feels nearly weightless, yet impractically heavy to others.

Tribe: The Northmen

Special Power: To a point, she can tell whether or not a person is being truthful. While she doesn't instantly know whether a person's words are a lie or the truth, she will get a strong gut feeling in one direction or the other.

BIO

Valasa was born the daughter of a moderately successful merchant, an only child loved and cared for by adoring parents. Despite the fortunate circumstances of her birth, she longed for grandeur that mundanity could never afford. As a young girl, she was notorious for playing swords with the boys - especially as she was usually victorious over her opponents. As she grew older, her love of swordplay blossomed gradually into something more serious; she sparred, she trained, she practiced, working hard to hone her skills.

When war with a neighboring Tribe erupted, Valasa left her family to join the ranks of fighting men. At first, her self-taught skills were a detriment that nearly resulted in her demise on multiple occasions. Her brushes with death did bring one advantage, however - experience, and harsh lessons. She was a quick learner. Within a year, she had advanced to hold the position of a prominent lieutenant.

When the war was won, she once again found herself ill content with the course of a mundane life, all the more dissatisfied for having tasted greatness, however briefly. Determined that a dull course would not define her, she bid farewell and took to wandering. Shortly after beginning her pilgrimage to nowhere, she began to realize that nomadic banditry was a rampant crime in the countryside, unchecked by the authority of the Tribe Leader. Seizing the opportunity, she took to routing out common criminals and thieves wherever she found them, quickly earning a reputation in the north as judge, jury, and executioner - which eventually turned to just 'the Executioner.'

Her name was feared across the Tribal territory, fear and submission spreading where word of her coming preceded her. Unfortunately, such notoriety led to an easy task that resulted once more in boredom. Then, her salvation occurred - the Trials of Xsaster. The first day of contests afforded a myriad of near-death experiences and close calls, but she did what she had always done best - she learned, and she improved. As the challenges grew bloodier and more harrowing, she struggled with every fibre of vitality to win, and do so fairly. By the end of the contest, she had not only secured her place as an Acolyte but acquired a series of once in a lifetime experiences that forged her into the formidable warrior she is today.

Fantastic, thank you! :D

Name: Karvic Halavich

Age: 29

Height: 6'0

Weapon(s): He owns and wields a bow that was given to him by Xsaster as his special weapon. The quiver is what's special as its arrows are special as it replenishes overtime. The steel used for its tips are special and even Karvic doesn't know what it does. The bow can't be used by others mostly because it starts to heat up when held by another.

He also owns a couple of throwing knives. It isn't anything special, but it is integral to his kind of fighting style.

Tribe: The Nomads

Special Power: He has the power of persuasion. When he speaks, others are pushed to believe what he says. While it doesn't always work, it does help when they're gathering information.

Bio: Karvic is the type of person who can adapt to almost anything. Being part of a Tribe such as his, it was understandable. He was born into The Nomads - a Tribe who, as their name implies, were always on the move. From the deserts to the forests to the cities, the Nomads always found their home around each other. They never felt the need to settle down. They were known travelling merchants and were known to carry exotic objects so they were always targeted by bandits. And so, theirs are one of the most formidable warriors one could think of.

Karvic was born to one of the warrior guards of The Nomads. As such, he was trained at a very early age on how to fight, but also how to barter. Karvic never really thought to leave the Tribe. They were getting by and they were all happy. But Karvic had more potential than just being in The Nomads. They all understood that, but no one knew what he could be doing with his life.

So when Xsaster sent out the call for the best warriors in the realm, Karvic knew he should answer it. With the permission and support of the Tribe Elder, he went on to answer it. It had been a gruesome experience. The Trails lasted for seven days - all seven days were filled with challenges that proved to be difficult. It was designed to find who exactly was the best warrior among all of them. Karvic fought on and on, intent on finishing the Trails.

And he did. He finished with six others. He was deemed an acolyte - one of the seven Dreaded. He accepted two special weapons and this sort of special power. Now, he roams with the others to be the judge, jury and executioner for those who are the higher ups - those who are above the laws of man. But they are not above the laws of Xsaster, and they, as his acolytes, would bring justice to them. Karvic found himself quite at home with these others, but he often finds himself wondering how his old Tribe has been doing.

Name: Jeska of the Golden Hawk

Age:
27

Height:
5'10"

Weapon(s): A dagger is her specialized weapon, one that never needs to be sharpened and always returns to her hand when she wants it, but her policy is that anything can be a knife if you're creative.

Tribe:
The Crest

Special Power:
Jeska is exceptionally good at finding things. So long as she knows what she's looking for, she can follow even incredibly faint clues to the object of her hunt.

Bio:
Jeska was born aboard the ship The Golden Hawk in the nomadic fleet of the Crest tribe. She grew up trading with seaside villages, delivering news and goods, and occasionally raiding rival ships and cities. The Crest are generally seen as pirates and thieves, and Jeska chose to lean into that stereotype, becoming an excellent thief and an underhanded but effective fighter. She was made second mate by the time she was twenty, handling crew discipline and commanding her own squad in combat.

On one of her first combat missions, she helped to capture a vessel carrying a self-proclaimed prince, whom the ship took for ransom. Jeska, who wasn't particularly close to anyone, found herself very interested in him and his tales of dry land. Eventually he was ransomed, but Jeska couldn't quite forget him.

She decided to join the Trials because she wanted to finally see something different, try out her land legs for a while. The next seven days were long and brutal, and many braver and stronger warriors fell. Jeska clawed her way up the ranks, finally hobbling to the finish line to meet Xsaster face-to-face and accept his challenge.

Apologies I didn't have this up earlier; things took rather an unexpected turn today.

FERUS, SON OF ZAYNE

The Seven Dreaded, Acolytes of Xsaster
Age: 30

Height: 5'10''

Weapon(s): He was gifted with a blowgun and several sets of darts - one set dipped in lethal poison, one in a sleeping drug, and one with an herb that causes a brief surge in adrenaline. He also carries a dirk for the sake of close quarters.

Tribe: The Horde (Outcast)

Special Power: Ferus has been granted the simple power of being able to choose to go unnoticed. On a whim, he will fade into the background and almost become a part of the scenery, unacknowledged and entirely inconsequential to any who cross his path.

BIO

All his life, Ferus has been a fixture of the backdrop to other's lives and grand deeds. Even before the power granted to him by Xsaster, he was the sort which no one was ever likely to take any note of - too slim of stature to be a strong warrior among the barbaric mass of the Horde, yet not weak enough to be entirely useless; not skilled in any trade or talent, nor remarkably clumsy or stupid.

Shortly after his birth, his mother was captured and presumably killed by a rival Tribe, and just a few brief years later, his father fell in battle. For a time, he was raised by his teenage sisters, but they were unable to support him for long. With no other option before them, his sisters married themselves off to the finest warriors they could catch and pawned him to the highest bidder as a servant.

As he was born to the Tribe and not a captured slave, he was treated well and largely ignored so long as his tasks were performed well - which they were, without fail. Even from a young age, he quickly learned the value of diligence, and of escaping notice. His betters were never afraid to reveal their secrets when he might be listening, never cared to watch their backs or veil their weaknesses as they were ever confident of his harmlessness. From the shadows, he watched and waited, biding his time through each opportunity that arose until the perfect moment arrived. Then, he would strike - as an assassin, as a thief, as a messenger; whatever job he had been paid to accomplish, he would execute it with a deadly edge of surprise.

In time, his betrayal of the Tribe by lending his services to outsiders and their enemies was discovered. He barely escaped the wrath of the Chieftans with his life, and afterward, was forced to compete in the trials as a means of shameful execution. Against all the odds, he struggled through the ordeal, never far from the bottom of the pile where no one would expect him to survive, let alone thrive. By way of his wits and sheer instinct to survive, he lasted through every contest, every battle, and every challenge until at the end of it all, he was one of seven before Xsaster himself.

Name: El' Kadesh

Age: 29

Height: 6'0

Physical Appearance:Nubian archer.jpg

Weapon(s):
His Corvus Bow & Arrows

Tribe: Gua'Thari

Special Power: His "Probability Factor". El' Kadesh has the uncanny ability to accurately predict the outcome of an event through mystical calculations he runs in his head at near impossible speed. This has upped his ability as an archer to super human levels as he can hit almost any target with astonishing marksmanship.

Bio: El' Kadesh was born the son of a farmer as part of the small Gua'Thari tibe that occupied the fertile lands of the south delta. The Gua'Thari were a peaceful people centered around farming and agriculture. El' Kadesh's father was once a vigorous warrior as a young man and defended his tribe as part of a small group of Gua'Thari braves, where he served as a skilled archer. He taught his son from a very young age, in the art of the bow and arrow as well as farming. El' Kadesh proved to be a natural and grew into a very gifted archer, far surpassing the level of skill his father had once attained.

Than, when he was only seventeen, an omen of doom befell the Gua'Thari tribe, as a massive horde of demon riders sent by the Lord of the Fifth Realm of the Abyss, Scarr-Talos, decended upon the peaceful Gua'Thari without warning. The tribe tried to mount a desperate defense, but were quickly overwhelmed by the demon horde. El'Kadesh's father, stood bravely to try and defend his family as well as the honor of his tribe and valiantly took down many demon riders, but fell in battle, dying a hero. Spurred into action by his father's death, and with the rest of the elders dead, El'Kadesh charged into battle fueled by grief and rage. Inspired by the teen's bravery, what remained of the tribe took up arms and followed him into the fray. Against all odds, they somehow managed to beat back the invaders through sheer force of spirit and the will to fight back. When the dust settled, only a handful of tribesman remained, including El'Kadesh, but they stood triumphant nonetheless. Determined to rebuild, they ordained El'Kadesh their new chieftain and so he would remain for several years.

Determined to lead and defend his tribe at any and all costs, El'Kadesh honed his archery skills to near perfection, becoming the most proficient bowman in all the land. However, he could not save his people from famine. In an attempt to scout out better lands for his tribe to farm, El'Kadesh left his people to try and seek them better fortunes. He bid them farewell and trekked out into the unforgiving deserts. It wasn't to long after that he caught wind of Xsaster's edict and his search to find the best warriors in the land. Seeing an oppurtunity for his people, El'Kadesh eargerly competed in the Trails of Xsaster. His archery skills served him well and through seven days of bloody competition, he proved his mettle by reaching the finish line, along with only six other warriors. He was deemed as one of Xsaster's "Seven Dreaded", an elite cadre of warriors that would roam from kingdom to kingdom dispensing Xsaster's divine justice to evil and tyrannical rulers. But El'Kadesh's heart still lies with his people and between respites of being one of Xsaster's acolytes...he periodically returns to the Gua'Thari, bringing them the spoils of his conquests.

Name: Anteros

Age: 22

Height:
5'10"

Weapon(s): A plain-looking wooden javelin which he usually uses as a staff, but can throw if necessary.

Tribe:
A priest from the Order of Calindra, no tribal affiliation.

Special Power:
Anteros can infuse energy into water, usually creating a volatile glowing fluid with purifying magical properties. It also makes an effective weapon against anything demonic.

Bio:
Anteros was born Gaeus Eloxes in the nation of Maheer, one of several illegitimate children of the king's brother. At the time the country was under the control of House Eloxes, although here a king who ruled for more than twenty years without being assassinated or deposed was impressive. Gaeus was acknowledged legally, but all that meant was being listed in a census as a bastard; his father paid no attention to him, and people who disliked House Eloxes treated him and his mother as easy targets. When Gaeus was around fourteen years old the king was overthrown, and his successor decided to annihilate House Eloxes. Gaeus decided that the best way to survive would be to make himself as little of a threat as possible, so he joined a religious order worshiping the Elemental Spirit of Water, legally giving up his name and old identity entirely. He was renamed Anteros.

For the next several years, Anteros learned a variety of skills, both ordinary (like how to make salt water fresh) and supernatural (like finding hidden springs). Although not particularly interested in fighting, Anteros was no pacifist, nor had he forgotten about the ugliness of the noble class of Maheer. He made his way through the trials of Xsaster quietly but efficiently.
