The Ryos Flame

Kehario couldn't help but laugh a bit at what she said. He knew that she was serious, but it still felt good to be able to truly laugh once more. He took a step closer to Miyako, and then picked her up swiftly in his arms. Right as he picked her up a portal opened in front of them. He took a look at it in curiousness. It glowed and glimmered like a soft array of sunlight, After, a voice echoed through the portal and called out to the two of them.

"You two have done well. No longer will the dragon be an issue to those of the land and other lands beyond our own. This world is truly at peace now and you warriors may now live in peace and happiness. The days of darkness are finally over." The priestess's said through the portal of light. "Come, it is time for you to return. A new chapter can finally begin in this world."

Kehario looked down at Miyako moments after with a smile. "Well, shall we get going?"

Miyako had found herself laughing as she was picked up despite the pain in her stomach. "Yes Kehario," She said after he'd spoken, her eyes glittering up at him. "Let us start this new chapter together, away from this place." She leaned up and kissed him before nestling in against him. "And this time you better not let that priestess take a scar away. I want to remember this fight all my days." There was a small glitter in her eyes as she turned to look at the portal that represented the fact that they could be free to live and love if they chose.
