Every female in the kingdom has been invited to the royal ball, along with several young men as well. While the Queen is known to be a lover of romantics, she has insisted the ball is a celebration of her son's 18th birthday.

You arrived, dressed up and ready for a dreamy night of dancing & eating gourmet food. Princes & Princesses of neighboring kingdoms and commoners alike have been invited.

The celebrations continue as planned; towards the end, after quite some have left, there is a cake ceremony for the prince.

Only when dawn draws near and you prepare to leave do you notice the strange behavior of the Queen. She has been ushering her sons towards the prettiest girls, insisting for dances and chit-chat.

Now, she rises makes an announcement that startles you all and possibly, changes your life forever.

Black foots, fitting dark pants, a royal blue tunic trimmed with the colour of gold, and a beige cape with gold outlining. Felix also wearing a necklace with a pendant shaped like a snowflake. It's something a sibling carved for him and has forever kept on him. He's also wearing that jeweled headband like the one in his picture.

Personality:
Very calm and only makes the simplest of smiles. There isn't too much that excites him, unless you get him into a conversation about the weather. Felix enjoys making poetry about nature, not to mention strolling through it. Even though he's good at masking his emotions, it truly doesn't take too long to make him angry. He may laugh about the situation, but deep inside he feels the need to be violent. Even though he is so mellow, Felix is a gentleman who appreciates all forms of beauty. The problem is that he's choosy about the woman he'll someday marry...

History:
As one of the elder sons, Felix got the harsher treatment from his parents. They were strict about his studies and mastering his combat techniques, since there was no predicting how many siblings would be born after him. He's read thousands of books during these nineteen years and he's skillful with both the blade and his fists. The lack of communication with the outside world has made him aloof, even a bit cold since some of the only people he's known are cruel. His younger brothers have also done nothing but annoy him until they matured. That made him decide he does not like children. Felix has also seen battle; something he never wants to see again. He's come to the conclusion that man is a monster...

The past few years, his heart's gotten warmer. Ever since discovering his passion for poetry, he's become a happier man. More work just has be be done for his personality to lighten up! He hopes that during his brother's birthday ball, he can romance a woman. A woman he likes, though. The pushiness of his Mother is making him look less forward to the event, since he wants to find true love. Someone he's compatible with.

Notes:
A wonderful piano player and dancer. Felix also has a private servant named Will, who he keeps around for company more than anything.

Ideas on Love:
Felix does believe in the concept of soul mates. A person has to have a connection with another, and before jumping into anything, they must get to know each other. Marrying a woman he ends up hating over the years would not have a happy ending! He thinks relationships need to be built until they're unbreakable.

Prince Donovan, 23

Personality: Forever the scholar, Donovan has an unquenchable curiosity, and it often makes him seem very forward as he likes to get down to business, and not beat around the bush. Even in his head on mentality, he portrays the tact, and class that is required of his family name, however there is a longing for some of the more simpler things in life. He likes to fend for himself, and absolutely refuses the assistance of servants if he can accomplish something himself. Like his brother he is well versed in poetry, and seems to be the most outgoing of his siblings. Often times he is making friends by simply introducing himself, as he has such a warm, and pleasant mentality.

History: As the oldest of the princes, he along with his younger brother Felix, recieved the harsher end of the stick in their upbringing, but rather than focus on the neglect, he took admirably to his studies, and to the Bow which he's become known as the kingdom's finest archer. A fact made too well known when he, like his brother, was subjected to war. Knowing that such atrocities exist in life, he's been a champion of diplomacy, and peace.

Donovan has experienced much in the world of romance, and love in his years, but it's never been something absolute, and so he's developed an openness to the possibility of a true relationship, and has no definite wants, or needs of the woman he hopes to eventually fill the role.

Notes: Donovan is a skilled archer, an aspiring painter, and an avid lover of theatre, with a habit of dabbling in the act itself. He has a pet black Cockatoo named Dentarg.

Ideas on Love: Donovan believes that there is such a thing as love, but believes that it's entirely different for each person. He views love as the willingness to disregard proper protocol, and act from the heart, or as the mood strikes. If that means streaking through the court to gather the laugh of a young maiden, or sneaking late in the night to a woman's window to shower her with poetry, then so be it. It's silly to try, and confine something with no bounds.

Princess Alruna, 24 (ELDEST)

Personality: Organized and detail-oriented, she believes that her parents are too flighty and silly to run things right now so she's so far turned down all advances from men because she worries about leaving the throne to her ridiculous parents or immature brothers.
History: The oldest of her siblings, she's always been the one in charge. She perceives her gender as a disappointment to her parents and has always strived to prove herself because, with two younger brothers, she will more likely be wed away from her throne eventually and she wants her parents to be proud of her for something.
Notes: Alruna very much likes men but she's worried that they will steal away her autonomy.
Ideas on Love: Love is glorious and wonderful and she's been heartbroken a few times by men and she sees an inevitable marriage but she's afraid to marry and leave her family to their own devices.

Prince Kaiden, 18 [birthday boy]

Personality: Kaiden is unconventional, rebellious, and full of energy. Unlike his siblings and as the youngest, Kaiden has always been able to escape the pressure of royal life. Although he is well-mannered and polite, he chooses to be so only when he feels the need to. He can be rude, inconsiderate and irritating, especially because he says and does as he pleases and so without a care for anyone else. There is something addictive about his personality though, a charm that he and his brothers possess that cannot be determined. In Kaiden, there is the charisma of someone who can smile without a care in the world. The one thing that remains unchanged about him over the years, however, is his sincerity. Kaiden will never lie.
History: Kaiden avoided his parents, his bodyguards, and anyone else in the royal grounds unless it was his siblings, his cousin, his tutors, or his fighting trainers. He takes joy in spending time with his siblings, but prefers the comfortable silence of just being together. He hates his parents, though, there's something chiefly aristocratic about their ideals that he cannot stand. Moreover, Kaiden, without being forced to, likes to study. His favorite past-time is martial arts. The rush of battle gives him a thrill like no other.
Notes: Kaiden doesn't have any pets or special guards. He does have a secret garden solace in the back of the forgotten grounds around the Faelis palace. He has only shown it to his elder sister, Alruna, and his cousin, Lorelei.
Ideas on Love: Kaiden thinks love should be exciting, a rush, a thrill, much like martial arts. Perhaps he's a hopeless romantic, but he wants to meet that girl that makes his heart skip a beat. He thinks he'll find her, save her from some dragon, and then marry her. But his mother has other ideas.

Princess Lorelei of Faerya, 24 [cousin]

Faerya

The lesser kingdom south of Faelis is that of their relatives, the King&Queen of Faerya. The kingdom of Faerya is generally accepted as a part of Faelis and such, the royalty does not have much status. They are seen as the cousins to the Faelis throne and nobles at most. Faerya is better known as a kingdom-province of Faelis (only because of their direct heritage are they held in high social status). The Faeryan King&Queen hope that a marriage will unite their divided family and rid them of the family conflicts (the king&queen of both are not on good terms with each other).
*The Queen of Faerya is the sister to the King of Faelis.*

Personality: Lori is emotional, high-strung, and rebellious. She's always hated her parents and their conflict with the Faelis royalty and that hatred has made her into an opinionated, fearless young woman. She's not afraid to speak her mind or find for what she believes in. She's headstrong, stubborn and will not take no for an answer. She takes relationships very seriously and does not stop herself from interfering with others. She does not believe in fate; she believes in making it happen with your own two hands.
History: Lori spends most of her time at the Faelis palace, not wishing to return to her own home in Faerya. As a result, she has practically grown up with the Faelis siblings. Out of them, she takes Kaiden as her confidante as does he. In their childhood, they relied on each to other for escaping the royal ceremonies and hiding from their parents. As they grew up, they realized how their hot-headed personalities were so similar. If not for Kaiden, Lori would have packed up and left to see the world already. With him around, politics are so much more interesting.

The thought of Kaidens' marriage makes her snicker. Like her parents, his mother is a crazy woman. Or so Lori believes. She can't wait to to meet the men at the ball -- just so that she can plan to drive them crazy after wards. Queen Faelis forced her mother to send her to the ball. This is her way of getting revenge.
Notes: Lorelei does not care much for either King&Queen, but she cares deeply for her cousins. Insult them, and she'll be at your throat. She has learned to fight from Kaiden.
Ideas on Love: Lorelei does not believe in love like the storybooks. While this ideal is somewhat softened by Kaiden's naivety, she still finds the entire concept hilarious. Whenever she thinks of it seriously, she ends up making of fun of it after wards. She hopes to find a couple of idiots at the ball to amuse herself.

Personality: Soft and polite, she is quite a charmer. She loves to talk with others and will easily slip into conversations, some that she may know nothing about. When is comes to gentlemen however she is quite shy and bashful, easily prone to stuttering and blushing. She can become more open however, and will eventually calm down.

History: Helen was born from a one of a kind marriage between her mother, who was a commoner, and her father, who was a son of a lord. Unlike many marriages her parents were in love and quite happy with each other. However, Helen nor her mother were accepted into the family because of they status issue. This forced both Helen and her mother to live outside in a small house while her father continued to work and try to convince his family to accept them. Eventually they were accepted when Helen was 15, though her grandfather, the former lord, had to pass away first.

Helen has spent the last year getting pampered and taught as much as possible, her father trying to make up for the years they spent in the tiny house. Helen doesn't really care for it though, missing her childhood of running around with other children, climbing trees and running a muck in the market. She does understand though that she now has to up hold her status and image to make sure no one speaks ill of her family. In hopes of showing off their daughter and possibly catching a wealthy man's eye, her mother and father have allowed Helen to attend the ball without an escort. Helen doesn't quite realize what her parents are planning yet but she certainly knows that the evening will certainly be interesting.

Notes: Helen has a pet great dane named Bud who she took care of since he was a pup. Though she does not seem the type she loves a good walk or horse ride out into the country, usually prefering that there also be a picnic to go with it. She is easily spooked if she doesn't know someone is there and will usually scold someone loudly if they do scare her on purpose. Those she enjoys rough attiveities like horse riding and exploring the country side, she adores frilly dresses and will usually wear them every day. She enjoys the arts such as music and theater and hopes that someday, if she isn't married away before hand, she can become a composer or a prima donna in an opera house.

Ideas on Love: Helen believes in learned love, learning about someone and becoming friends before a relationship developes. She does ,however, find the idea of love at first site quite romantic and can easily get sweapt away by it.

Cataney IX Lady of Colt, 19

Personality: Polite and reserved, Castaney tries to mind her manners every hour of the day. To see her anything less than in full control of her temper would be a shock to most anyone.
History: In an odd land of Coit, Royalty are not given rites from birth. They must prove it in extensive schooling and teachings and lessons. Castaney, though proper, does not have it in her to be cunning or shrewd or to achieve things for herself, and so, she is very good at hiding her frustrations over two of her sisters being princesses, and a third being a common girl. She has two brothers as well, a knight, and a prince. She tries her hardest to please the people around her.
Notes: She loves nature and animals, and is a MAGNET for spills and stains. A dress never lasts more than a day, and shoes are lucky if they last a year.

Also, owns a male silver fox named Coal.

Personality: She is a quick witted and smart. She's not that shy, so she says what is on her mind. Sometimes she does it without thinking about what is considered "proper." She loves to laugh and have fun. She can be very charismatic when dealing with difficult situations.
History: In the past six months Tiana has lost her mother and been claimed by her father King Geoff Dalphini. When the queen died almost a year ago he had felt only loneliness, until he got a note from a dying woman that he had had a daughter. After she died he claimed Tiana and her life was turned upside down. She went from being just an ordinary town girl to a princess. The very mention of name was a scandal and the whispers about her and her mother, she feared, would never stop. She had two half brothers, one was a year older and the other was a year younger, neither of the had spoken to her. The whole situation was ridiculous, it was something out of a fairy tale, a messed up one at that. She had been schooled and trained on how to be a princess. She was not even allowed to choose what she wore. Someday she would get the hang of things.
Notes: She has a baby snow leopard, named Kolbalsac. The ball will be the first time that she will be seen by anyone outside of her palace since everything began.

Ideas on Love: There is no such thing, there is only lust and the need for another attentions. Her mom was alone and seemed content with only Tiana. She does not see that such a thing as love really exists there is nothing that she can find for herself accept someday she would need to have children. Tiana is jaded.

The gown is the onlt thing from the image that relates to Cora. Hair is worn down with loose curls that flow down to about her mid back.

Personality:
Outgoing for her status in society. With a cheery disposition there is not much that could bring her down. She is friendly but strong enough to stand up for herself when neded which in that past has been a problem for her. Although kind she is also fiesty and sometimes says too much of what is on her mind.

History:
As a commoner Cora has always known her place in society and has accepted it. The fact that her family was poor had never bothered her. Her mother on the other hand always dreamed of more even though it was not known to be possible. With the recent release of invitations to the ball her mother saw an opportunity. Normally, a commoner could not afford such an expensive gown, especially colored gold, but her mother was determined to make her look her best and above her status. Thus, she gathered every last penny she could to buy her the gold gown for the ball. It is her mother's plan to have one of the princes fall in love with her charming personality and make a better life for her than what she had. Cora desperately wants to make her mother happy and her father proud so she agrees to go along with her mother's plan. However, she has an image of the princes being cocky, condescending, and somewhat boring with happens to be sickening to her.

Notes:
A few of her dislikes would be cockiness, boredom, and competition. She likes those who are straight forward with her and treat her the same as anyone else despite her status in society. Her family owns a mixed breed dog who guards the house and keeps her company while doing her chores.

Ideas on Love:

Cora is a romantic at heart. She believes in love at first sight as well as true love. She cares not whether they are rich or poor, but only on thier personality and the chemistry they have together.

Rima Mikan, Commoner, 19

Personality:Rima, is very trusting, she will trust almost anyone she meets, and finds it quite easy to make friends due to the fact she rarely see's the bad in people.
Rima is helpful and will never turn you down if you need help, she hates too much attention, but can deal with it if necessary as her wit can get her out of some tricky situations. Rima is quite intelligent, but can be very ditsy at times.
History: Rima's parents died when she was eight years old, and Rima had been raised by her grandparents, because they are not as young as they used to be since she was 12 Rima had been the sole provider for the house, getting food, money doing the cooking, anything she could for her grandparents.
Notes: Rima loves animals and apples, she loves the sunset ans it's her favorite part of the day. She doesn't like violence and can get spooked quite easily.
Ideas on Love: Rima doesn't believe in love at first sight, but she is a strong believer of love. For seven years she's been the sole provider, and although she doesn't mind she'd love to be taken care of for once, and find true love.

With the excuse of her son's 18th birthday, she plans to find each of them a girl that will suit them enough for them to fall in love with. If necessary, she plans to force them to fall in love. She, however, does not understand her boys as well as she thinks she does.
Love triangles appear, hatred ensues.

Things that she did not expect throw her plans out the window and create chaos like Faelis has never seen before!

The religion of Thierran states that the leader of their kingdom and the first king was the son of their goddess, and he was named Thier. She laid him down in a grape flower and sent him on a breeze. When he arrived in the most fitting land, it is said, he planted the flower and it grew into the healthy Thierran vines that now exist in their countryside. While the story might not be true, the grape vines of Thierran are legendary. The finest wines come from this sloping, green countryside. The king and queen are grounded folk who enjoy their drinking celebrations as much as any peasant.

Ball Appearance:

Personality: Struggles to maintain composure, very hard on himself for mistakes. Impassioned when he cannot contain himself. He's the younger son of his kingdom and he tries hard to emulate his elder brother, Christoph. His brother sets a very strict example for the younger prince to follow.
Notes: Does not like being openly compared to his elder brother, who is now married. He's very envious of the love between his brother and the new Queen Emeline and desires such closeness.
Ideas on Love: Trace has never been in love but he desperately wants to experience it.

Except that the coat shall have black feathers at the shoulders almost like ornate pauldrons. And although his boots cannot be seen here, the uppermost part is lined on the outside with black feathers.

Personality: Often seems far removed from any overt displays of emotion or even compassion. His acts often come from more subtle avenues such as actions that exercise the powers of his position. Toward other men he behaves with a polite coldness, even toward those of a lower social standing so long as they treat him with respect. But toward those who are his rivals he shows little mercy beyond the courtesy one expects from a young man of his lineage.

History:

Long, long ago a Faelis King struggled to maintain military communication during a fierce war. Their rival country showed no qualms about killing human messengers and would even shoot down homing pidgeons. Meanwhile the enemy forces also took advantage of the uncoordinated battles and emerged victorious against Faelis forces for several days. As brilliant a tactician as he was, the King could do little if he could not command the Knights of the different camps with precision. Soon the King and his men had not only run out of birds to deliver the messages but could no longer afford to spare anymore men than what had already been lost. All hope felt lost as well.

It was then a young Squire offered the services of his pet Raven to the King.

Night after night and day after day the Squire would send his pet off to relay messages between the camps. Ravens were smart birds, and this one certainly did not lack intellect as it evaded detection due to not only it's own instincts but the Squire masterful training as well. The Faelis' enemy never realized that a lone Raven was responsible for the sudden effectiveness of what should have been a disorganized Faelis force. It served the King right up until the end of the war without injury. The actual number of missions the Raven known as Geist flew for the King has long since been lost to legend and embellishment. But what remains unaltered is the fact that the Faelis King made that Squire into a Lord and bequeathed the portion of land they had won because of his Raven to this new Lord. And it was in honor of his pet the Lord decided his land should be named:

Rabengeist.

This tale has followed down that Lord's bloodline all the way up to Kristoff.

Kristoff's mother passed away a few years after giving birth to him, leaving him as her only child. She is only but a faint warm memory to her only son that both comforts and haunts him. His father has never remarried out of pure loyal devotion to the memory of his deceased wife. As a consequence Kristoff is the only possible heir to his aging father's title and must find a bride someday if their power is to continue into the next generation.

Much to his father's pleasure, Kristoff took an interest with birds at a young age. Especially the ravens which were native to their lands. From the age of seven Karasuman has worked to train them as loyal pets much as his ancestor once had generations before. It was how the often silent youth coped with not having a mother. Of course his father had hired nannies or other servants but none of them really forged a bond with Kristoff. Yet grief did not consume him. Rather than regret not having a mother to raise him like other boys, he would train and raise the ravens to give them what he did not have.

Aside from a rich education deserving of a noble, Kristoff has largely made a name for himself by competing in shooting competitions. Years of tutoring since starting at the age of ten has honed the nobleman's marksmanship to such a fine degree that he no longer participates in just contests of accuracy but exhibition shooting as well. Due to his talented trick shooting, there is seldom a noble that will challenge him to a duel. Yet he has stayed out of the military in compliance with his father's wishes to keep him out of definite harm's way. Every contest he takes part in is conducted with the utmost safety measures and their family has actually contributed quite a bit of funding to advancing firearms safety technology.


Notes: Has an affinity for Ravens and training them. As a result he has quite a few pets back home. The feathers on his clothes were actually ones that have fallen from his pet ravens and been sterilized. Noted marksman and duelist in the realm of firearms. Graceful dancer.


Ideas on Love: That it is a means to gain power and a higher social rank if it is with the right woman. The right woman of course being one that would increase the strength of his family's domain. He has never shown much sentimentality toward love or romance. The woman he marries does not have to be his true love. If he actually loved her or she loved him would only serve as a perk byproduct of a union meant to strengthen his own family. Which is something he is willing to sacrifice personal happiness for. But he does know how to woo. Or at least his own way of doing so.

Knight Cyril of Rozengaard, 22

You wish your man would wear this suit, MMMMMhmmm!

Personality: He's tough, but silent, as well as stoic for the most part. If he cracked a smile even one more time than he could, perhaps people would think he was more approachable. He's fought in a war, but he was known for being able to solve disputes between his brothers in arms, even going so far as to helping the prince and the king during a formidable argument. He's calm and level headed, but will do as commanded.

History: Cyril has worked his entire life for his land's monarchy, devoting his life to protecting those who led the masses. He has come a long way, and gone through many hardships, hardest of all was loosing his father to sickness. His mother died when he was born. After that happened, he was even more attuned to his king. He would be a higher rank, but be believes that he doesn't deserve it yet, and that he needs to prove his loyalties somehow.

Notes: He feels unworthy of attending this ball, and does not view himself as attractive as others think he is. In fact, the king tricked him into this affair, telling him that this was more of an official meeting, waiting until the last moment to explain what was really going on. Needless to say, Cyril tried to resist, but was ordered, due to the fact that he is so high strung and hellbent on trying to be useful to others, that he has nothing left for himself at the end of the day. This is their version of helping apparently.

He has been accustomed to weapons, math, and literature. He is an accomplished writer and a man who has seen death. He has not become harder because of it though, instead he has become wiser and more realistic.

Very calm and only makes the simplest of smiles. There isn't too much that excites him, unless you get him into a conversation about the weather. Felix enjoys making poetry about nature, not to mention strolling through it. Even though he's good at masking his emotions, it truly doesn't take too long to make him angry. He may laugh about the situation, but deep inside he feels the need to be violent. Even though he is so mellow, Felix is a gentleman who appreciates all forms of beauty. The problem is that he's choosy about the woman he'll someday marry...

History:
As one of the elder sons, Felix got the harsher treatment from his parents. They were strict about his studies, since there was no predicting how many siblings would be born after him. He's read thousands of books during these nineteen years and owns many certifications for his academic achievements. The lack of communication with the outside world has made him aloof, even a bit cold since some of the only people he's known are cruel. His younger brothers have also done nothing but annoy him until they matured. That made him decide he does not like children. Because of the constant warring between countries, he's come to the conclusion that man is a monster...

The past few years, his heart's gotten warmer. Ever since discovering his passion for poetry, he's become a happier man. More work just has be be done for his personality to lighten up! He hopes that during his brother's birthday ball, he can romance a woman. A woman he likes, though. The pushiness of his Mother is making him look less forward to the event, since he wants to find true love. Someone he's compatible with.

Notes:
A wonderful piano player and dancer, both activities that have brightened his busy, anti-social life. Also, Felix is very much a metrosexual. It would be best not to tease him for it. ;) He won't be your friend.

Ideas on Love:
Felix does believe in the concept of soul mates. A person has to have a connection with another, and before jumping into anything, they must get to know each other. Marrying a woman he ends up hating over the years would not have a happy ending! He thinks relationships need to be built until they're unbreakable.

Personality: Soft and polite, she is quite a charmer. She loves to talk with others and will easily slip into conversations, some that she may know nothing about. When is comes to gentlemen however she is quite shy and bashful, easily prone to stuttering and blushing. She can become more open however, and will eventually calm down.

History: Helen was born from a one of a kind marriage between her mother, who was a commoner, and her father, who was a son of a lord. Unlike many marriages her parents were in love and quite happy with each other. However, Helen nor her mother were accepted into the family because of they status issue. This forced both Helen and her mother to live outside in a small house while her father continued to work and try to convince his family to accept them. Eventually they were accepted when Helen was 15, though her grandfather, the former lord, had to pass away first.

Helen has spent the last year getting pampered and taught as much as possible, her father trying to make up for the years they spent in the tiny house. Helen doesn't really care for it though, missing her childhood of running around with other children, climbing trees and running a muck in the market. She does understand though that she now has to up hold her status and image to make sure no one speaks ill of her family. In hopes of showing off their daughter and possibly catching a wealthy man's eye, her mother and father have allowed Helen to attend the ball without an escort. Helen doesn't quite realize what her parents are planning yet but she certainly knows that the evening will certainly be interesting.

Notes: Helen has a pet great dane named Bud who she took care of since he was a pup. Though she does not seem the type she loves a good walk or horse ride out into the country, usually prefering that there also be a picnic to go with it. She is easily spooked if she doesn't know someone is there and will usually scold someone loudly if they do scare her on purpose. Those she enjoys rough attiveities like horse riding and exploring the country side, she adores frilly dresses and will usually wear them every day. She enjoys the arts such as music and theater and hopes that someday, if she isn't married away before hand, she can become a composer or a prima donna in an opera house.

Ideas on Love: Helen believes in learned love, learning about someone and becoming friends before a relationship developes. She does ,however, find the idea of love at first site quite romantic and can easily get sweapt away by it.

Personality: Polite and reserved, Castaney tries to mind her manners every hour of the day. To see her anything less than in full control of her temper would be a shock to most anyone.
History: In an odd land of Coit, Royalty are not given rites from birth. They must prove it in extensive schooling and teachings and lessons. Castaney, though proper, does not have it in her to be cunning or shrewd or to achieve things for herself, and so, she is very good at hiding her frustrations over two of her sisters being princesses, and a third being a common girl. She has two brothers as well, a knight, and a prince. She tries her hardest to please the people around her.
Notes: She loves nature and animals, and is a MAGNET for spills and stains. A dress never lasts more than a day, and shoes are lucky if they last a year.

Personality: She is a quick witted and smart. She's not that shy, so she says what is on her mind. Sometimes she does it without thinking about what is considered "proper." She loves to laugh and have fun. She can be very charismatic when dealing with difficult situations.
History: In the past six months Tiana has lost her mother and been claimed by her father King Geoff Dalphini. When the queen died almost a year ago he had felt only loneliness, until he got a note from a dying woman that he had had a daughter. After she died he claimed Tiana and her life was turned upside down. She went from being just an ordinary town girl to a princess. The very mention of name was a scandal and the whispers about her and her mother, she feared, would never stop. She had two half brothers, one was a year older and the other was a year younger, neither of the had spoken to her. The whole situation was ridiculous, it was something out of a fairy tale, a messed up one at that. She had been schooled and trained on how to be a princess. She was not even allowed to choose what she wore. Someday she would get the hang of things.
Notes: She has a baby snow leopard, named Kolbalsac. The ball will be the first time that she will be seen by anyone outside of her palace since everything began.

Ideas on Love: There is no such thing, there is only lust and the need for another attentions. Her mom was alone and seemed content with only Tiana. She does not see that such a thing as love really exists there is nothing that she can find for herself accept someday she would need to have children. Tiana is jaded.

Personality: Forever the scholar, Donovan has an unquenchable curiosity, and it often makes him seem very forward as he likes to get down to business, and not beat around the bush. Even in his head on mentality, he portrays the tact, and class that is required of his family name, however there is a longing for some of the more simpler things in life. He likes to fend for himself, and absolutely refuses the assistance of servants if he can accomplish something himself. Like his brother he is well versed in poetry, and seems to be the most outgoing of his siblings. Often times he is making friends by simply introducing himself, as he has such a warm, and pleasant mentality.

History: As the oldest of the princes, he along with his younger brother Felix, recieved the harsher end of the stick in their upbringing, but rather than focus on the neglect, he took admirably to his studies, and to the Bow which he's become known as the kingdom's finest archer. A fact made too well known when he, like his brother, was subjected to war. Knowing that such atrocities exist in life, he's been a champion of diplomacy, and peace.

Donovan has experienced much in the world of romance, and love in his years, but it's never been something absolute, and so he's developed an openness to the possibility of a true relationship, and has no definite wants, or needs of the woman he hopes to eventually fill the role.

Notes: Donovan is a skilled archer, an aspiring painter, and an avid lover of theatre, with a habit of dabbling in the act itself. He has a pet black Cockatoo named Dentarg.

Ideas on Love: Donovan believes that there is such a thing as love, but believes that it's entirely different for each person. He views love as the willingness to disregard proper protocol, and act from the heart, or as the mood strikes. If that means streaking through the court to gather the laugh of a young maiden, or sneaking late in the night to a woman's window to shower her with poetry, then so be it. It's silly to try, and confine something with no bounds.

The gown is the only thing from the image that relates to Cora. Hair is worn down with loose curls that flow down to about her mid back.

Personality:
Outgoing for her status in society. With a cheery disposition there is not much that could bring her down. She is friendly but strong enough to stand up for herself when neded which in that past has been a problem for her. Although kind she is also fiesty and sometimes says too much of what is on her mind.

History:
As a commoner Cora has always known her place in society and has accepted it. The fact that her family was poor had never bothered her. Her mother on the other hand always dreamed of more even though it was not known to be possible. With the recent release of invitations to the ball her mother saw an opportunity. Normally, a commoner could not afford such an expensive gown, especially colored gold, but her mother was determined to make her look her best and above her status. Thus, she gathered every last penny she could to buy her the gold gown for the ball. It is her mother's plan to have one of the princes fall in love with her charming personality and make a better life for her than what she had. Cora desperately wants to make her mother happy and her father proud so she agrees to go along with her mother's plan. However, she has an image of the princes being cocky, condescending, and somewhat boring which happens to be sickening to her.

Notes:
A few of her dislikes would be cockiness, boredom, and competition. She likes those who are straight forward with her and treat her the same as anyone else despite her status in society. Her family owns a mixed breed dog who guards the house and keeps her company while doing her chores.

Ideas on Love:

Cora is a romantic at heart. She believes in love at first sight as well as true love. She cares not whether they are rich or poor, but only on thier personality and the chemistry they have together.
