The Monster Mash Festival

It has been a long jubilant week for the realm of Nautchwald. For the past six days joyous cheers echoed through out the streets late into the night as everyone was well into the energy of the Monster Mash. The whole community was in good spirits, but were ready for the return of their daily routines. Today going to be a glorious day of closure for everyone, as it was the final day of the week long event. The end of the festivities would be starting off with a celebratory community feast, and would end with a magical light show of fireworks. A literal bang if you will. Still the day brought many things to do before such a wonderful display, and our cast finds themselves enjoying the fun.

As the sun began to peek from the horizon and bless the realm with it's warms rays, the city slowly began to spring back to live. Birds sang their morning tune, and the early rising citizens of Nautchwald began to make ready themselves for the new day. Soon enough the streets were starting to fill with people as they made their way to Yeager Hall, a large community building made to house participates of large events such as this. The hall was going to be lined with rows of tables, and providing a plethora of breakfast foods for their grand feast. At the center of the hall was a large stage for scheduled performances while people came in to eat. For the morning feast there would be live music to enjoy.

~ Isolde Aoife "Nox"~
Interactions: NPCs (Henry "Nox") - Diana (@Lstorm )
Mentions: Dimitri (@Gladis )

"Look who turned up"

An exhausted sigh parted from bloody red painted lips, dull grey-blue eyes shifting behind closed lids as the orange haired menace approached. His voice struck a chord in the blonde currently leaning against a support beam, though she denied him even a glance as he spoke up. It was to troublesome to deal with the joker that was Henry. Isolde reluctantly dragged herself from what kept her up, movements lethargic, to face the vampire before her. From the second the quiet taps of his shoes echoed in the quiet space, Isolde's body language shifted. It became guarded. Standing properly now her arms were folded defensively over her torso, eyes flickering open till cool depths analysed him critically as she cocked her head in mock confusion."You act as if I had a choice in spend any time with your delightful self, Henry."

The other, donned in a sharp black suit and crisp white shirt, shoved his hands into his blazer pockets as a devious grin appeared upon his pale features. "Well, that is true." He muttered, stepping closer into her personal space as the two observed one another carefully. "But! I do, fortunately, get to give you orders! And you can't avoid us forever, Sol~". The mention of her nickname caused a slight hiss, lips pursing angrily. "I don't see why you hate us all...-" Henry muttered, a purely false look of sadness creeping onto his expression as he stepped around her carefully. "We are 'Family', Sol."

The simple idea she had any link to him was repulsive, the thought alone breaking her usually cool façade as her lips twisted into a scowl, brows furrowed. Isolde shifted, turning her head so she observed him without turning fully. "We are not. You are just a little pest that Alaric and Julia fin useful. A pawn so they don't have to dirty their hands..." She couldn't help but spit it out, venom coating her words. "And once you are no longer useful, you will be nothing.". Much to her delight, Henry had turned around with a vicious scowl, twisting her own into a look of delight and amusement.

"Hard truth, 'Brother'?"

Isolde found herself calming, her posture visibly relaxing as Henry released a feral snarl, only to twist and storm off a few seconds later to leave the site, most likely to head back to where Nox primarily resided, hidden away. A soft chuckle broke her steely mask as she stretched her arms out for a moment, feeling a mental exhaustion settle from just laying eyes on her so-called 'brother'. At least, he was gone though. Recently painted red nails lazily adjusted the buttons on the cuffs of her black, long sleeve shirt as she glanced around cautiously. There was a few vampires littered around here and there, the rest she assumed were out hidden and watching for any type of threat to the plans.

Guard dogs essentially.

Like the rest of the vampires scattered around, Isolde was clad in formal professional clothing in the standard monochrome colours. On top of her black shirt was a white waist coat with very thin black pinstripe detailing and matching smart, fitted pants with a pair of simple heeled black boots. As professional looking as always it seemed. Though it differed, the other vampires were dressed much the same. "Knew I should I swapped the colours..." She grumbled, finishing her adjustments as she swiped some of the shoulder length blonde locks from her face. "This is just going to get dirty, I know it." Isolde looked at her outfit longingly before shrugging...She would buy another if needed. Turning to one of the other vampires on scene, Isolde shifted back to her previous mask. "I am going to check in the back. Keep an eye out here and make sure to keep me updated." Her tone allowed no warmth, her gaze threatening as she stared the others down before departing to the back rooms of the building.

It didn't take long for the blonde to wander into the barely lit rooms, with only a few candles scattered around to cast a dark orange hue into the lifeless and stale space. The doors opened with the sound of metal scraping on concrete, Isolde in comparison, stepping through silently as the orange glow was cast across her visage. Despite the odd sound of shifting limbs or quiet whispers, the room seemed to drain the life out of all who entered as cages, steel bars, lined any free space which cast its inhabitants in further darkness as even the flimsy candles failed to reach there. Isolde could only wonder if it was to give them false hope that the Nox allowed the candles to stay but remain out of their reach. The dark did seem to frighten other some species, Isolde noticed, but it was the loving domain of the vampires.

She took a few seconds to study the room before she headed forwards while taking a shallow breath. Despite her goal here being mainly to mess with Nox and disrupt their plans, even Isolde felt disgust at their actions. It was barbaric. It was going to drag every member of Nox, one day, to their deaths when their leaders foolishness and arrogance meant they stepped a line they could not retreat from. She swallowed, brows furrowing as she headed over to one of the corners in the room. "Where to start..." Scanning the mainly empty enclosed spaces, Isolde noted a few where she could hear the faint beating of hearts and make out the curled up forms of, even in the darkness. Stepping quietly over to the first one she began to work on the locks. It took a while, especially since she had to work quietly but she eventually settle the last heavy lock onto the ground and turned to the people who stood at the open doorways. "Okay, now listen to me...Don't try to run yet. They will hear you. Soon there will be a power cut and then you run. Your captors will be distracted so you need to use this time to run fast and far. Grab a candle and get out of here, there are people that'll take you out of here."

The small group of seven or so nodded, some more hesitantly than others considering with each word the glint of fangs were visible from between bloody red lips. The only thing that led them to even faintly listen instead of screaming was the fact she released them and promised freedom. "Good. Now wait here for a few minutes.". Isolde furrowed her brows slightly, observing them all before turning around to leave while she took her phone from her pocket. A few swipes later it was unlocked and she opened a contact and chat log. A completely blank log with a single name at the top.

[To: Suits]
[ Released them. Your turn.]

Pressing send, Isolde continued her hurried path back to the heavy door while shoving her phone away once more. Her steps, however, was halted then a frail hand grasped at her own. The vampire froze, eyes widening as fear briefly lit up her gaze as it slid to the young child that grabbed her hand. Instantly, Isolde was visibly on edge as her thoughts raced at how easily this human could get hurt, causing a disruption in her composure. "M-miss...T-There is someone else...In the cells..." The girls voice was quiet but her senses, more advanced than a mortals, picked it up easily and a frown took over parted lips. "Another...?". Silently cursing the vampire organisation, Isolde studied the child carefully before gently pulling her hand out from her grip and softly ruffling the girls messy hair for a moment. "Okay...Don't worry...I will go get them out as well.".

It was quickly after she spoke that she shot out of the room as her composure remained briefly shot. Isolde did not know how to handle children at all - they were so small and reliant that it freaked her out. Not that she would admit it. In a few moments the power would go out and Dimitri's men would flood the building and take out the Nox members inside. She was supposed to fake her involvement in the fight to keep the Nox's suspicion from her... But, she couldn't leave one here and release the rest. It would be giving the Nox a win she wouldn't be able to sleep knowing. A sigh escaped her lips as she grumbled, turning around and heading deeper into the warehouse to find the cells.

Her steps had fallen into a sprint once the power running through the warehouse was cut, Isolde's hearing catching the muttering of the other vampires in confusion along with the sound of Dimitri's men entering inside and the fight engaging. Finally finding the cells Isolde hurried over to the only one that wasn't left open, approaching with slower steps till she was close enough to begin fumbling with the lock. It took a few seconds for her to decide that this was taking to long and she enclosed the lock with her grip, applying her strength behind her gasp till it began to curl in on itself, eventually coming free of the door. Isolde tossed it carelessly to the ground beside her as she pulled open the door, caution now influencing her movements till they were slower, more drawn out to suit the human eye. "Hello?..." Stepping inside slowly she took note of the girl, raising her hands carefully till they were completely visible and unarmed. She wanted to get the girl out and free, not to freak her out and make this harder.

"Can you talk? Stand up? I need to know so I can get you out of here quicker."

Ciaran
Interactions: NPC, Kali (@Aka~Kitsune), Kari ( @~Dark Disney~), Karn @Denali)

In a form of protest against the early hour he had been forced to get up to help out with the stall Ciaran had been slacking off. Not that he needed any excuse to slink off somewhere and take a nap — it was what he did most of the time anyway. His favourite spot varied as he had to keep changing them to make it harder for Kali to find him and drag him back to work, but currently he was curled up on the roof of a truck selling freshly-made doughnuts. The heat from the kitchen inside made the roof warm even when it was parked in the shade, making it the perfect place to sleep, although the smell of doughnuts was beginning to get to him.

Rather reluctantly Ciaran stretched out, mouth opened wide in a yawn, before elegantly leaping off the roof. While the local shop-owners had come to realise the trouble he brought (admittedly, very few cats were in the habit of wearing ear cuffs and rings around their tails so Ciaran was fairly recognisable) their customers were rarely as cautious.

With mismatched eyes Ciaran blinked slowly up at his chosen mark, eyeing the bag of fresh doughnuts in their hand, before lovingly rubbing his head against their legs. As expected the young man was unable to resist reaching down to pet Ciaran's soft black fur, which he allowed for a few moments before suddenly snatching the bag of food out of his hand with his teeth and making a run for it. Ciaran's size and agility meant he had vanished among the crowd before his victim could even think about chasing him and with a satisfied smirk the cat made his way back towards the twins' stall.

Along the way he switched into human form (easier to carry the bag with hands) and plucked a dougnut out, biting into the soft warmth. By the time he made it back Ciaran had finished his snack and began licking the sugar from his fingers.

"I got snaaacks~" He lilted, setting the bag on the counter for the others to help themselves. Barely overhearing Karina's comment to Karn he rolled his eyes. "Can you two get a room? You're making Kali sad about how single she is," He said, draping himself over his master's shoulder as he spoke. "Bein' all lovey-dovey all over the place again..."

Kali couldn't deny that currently, she was exhausted. In preparation for today she had spent the entire night before working on her cards and embedding them with her magic. A lack of sleep led her eyes to drooping slightly, though her lidded gaze remained on the passing by festival goers for a new person to trick out of some money. Her mind whirled with ideas of what to do next as another yawn tumbled from her parted lips, her hand reaching up to cover her mouth. Adjusting herself to sit properly, Kali turned her head to look at her twin and her familiar, a scowl slowly coming onto her lips as she fake gagged. "Honestly, do you guys have to be all lovey and disgusting in public?" the younger twin grumbled out. She loved the pair of them but she honestly didn't understand it and she didn't want to.

Her slight disgust at the other twos romance faded when the smell of fresh donuts took her attention, a gold gaze sliding over to Ciaran who approached in his human form, bag in hand. A delighted grin slowly slid onto her lips as she reached out to grab the bag to pluck a donut from its depths, bringing it to her lips where she took a large bit happily. "This is why we work well together, Ciaran.~" She cooed, quickly chewing and swallowing her bite before she spoke. Immediately, she went to take another, only to pause when she noted Ciaran's words. A scowl took her features, though it was hidden by the donut hanging between her lips as her free hand reached into the bag to pluck another one out which she instead threw towards her familiars head. Once her hand was free again she ripped the sweet from between her lips as she scowled. "Hey! I am not sad that I am single! Do you see how gross and affectionate these two are, its just abnormal"

Kali continued to grumble softly under her breath as she pulled herself off the table to stand, the donut between her lips again as she stretched till a soft crack came from her spine. Shaking her limbs before dropping them to her side, one returning to the nearly finished donut she huffed softly. "We need to focus on work, money, tricks!" She mumbled out, finishing her food as she turned to her twin and her familiar before following their gaze to Shira and Maddie who they pointed out verbally. Kali raised a brow to her twins comment as she cocked her head, settling her weight to one hip as she smirked with delight gleaming in her golden gaze. "No tricks? No way! Why exactly would we miss such a prime opportunity?~"

Chartreuse

Chartreuse awoke the same way he had each day for centuries; ripped from a barely-remembered dream. Not that it mattered if he couldn't remember. His dreams were always about the same thing. For a moment he lay in silence, staring blankly at the ceiling as he tried to hold on to any lingering images of her face. The truly dear memories he had already removed, locked up safe in bottles where no one else could get to them and he could revisit them as many times as he liked without fearing their deterioration. However this safety meant they no longer remained in his head. While away from his mansion as he now was Chartreuse was simply left with the dregs. And that was never enough for him.

Eventually Chartreuse, unable to continue ignoring this body's needs, dragged himself up, out of bed and into the shower. He'd been through so many bodies over the years, each like an ill-fitted garment. Some were better than others. He had a preference for male, young, strong. Not out of any absurd notion that he could somehow recapture his own lost youth - it was simply the most convenient form.

He finished washing, towelled dry, and got dressed. The holes across his ears were filled once more by the appropriate piercings. (He had learned the hard way years ago what poor hygiene could do to a body with such wounds and had no desire to repeat the filthy experience.) It would likely have been simpler to let the piercings close up entirely but no, Chartreuse had decided to leave the body mostly as he had found it. Not for the sake of the previous inhabitant as their spirit was long gone, already bound for his own purposes, but because it made it easier to treat each body as the costume it was.

He washed, he dressed, he ate. There was so much to be done and yet so much time was wasted on physical maintenance. He needed to find Skylar again today, to win her trust so he could move on to the next part of his plan. He needed to watch the Rose Witches, to know they didn't suspect him, to foresee any possible way they could interfere. He was so close this time to freeing her. Chartreuse refused to feel again.

In the moments Sephira began her reply to Nimhue's questioning, she had propped her head up upon her folded arms that were now resting upon the table top. She had long since finished the muffin given to her by Sephira and so now listened intently to the woman, a brow raised in curiousity as she hummed. Nimhue really could not understand the land, its people and its ways. Her purple toned gaze turned to the red wine, lips pursing and brows furrowing as she pointed at it. "I really dont understand how that helps ones health in any way." Nimhue grumbled out, the confusion seeming to unsettle her mood slightly. She honestly did hate not knowing something.

Nimhue was about to address a whole new set of questions when Sephira's familiar appeared causing to pause her words for a second as she cocked her head. Honestly, Nimhue knew very little of this woman and their interactions were near non-existent. They were limited to the couple times Nimhue saw her when visited Red. The abaia easily noticed the critical gaze the familiar gaze directed at her but was unable to discern what the look itself was, causing her own gaze to reflect curiousity and confusion. Eventually, that dwindled and it led to irritation which led her to childish stick her tongue out at the familiar, her gaze a soft glare.

Once she had conducted a short string of glares and childish expressions in retaliation for the woman's gaze she could not interpret, Nimhue seemed to sulk almost. However, her attention turned back to Red. "Mhm...Well, if I can help ever just tell me." The pinkette added, her annoyance having dulled her tone slightly. "You should try enjoy today then! This festival...The monster bash? It is important or a big celebration, right?" Nimhue fished into her purse and pulled out one of the small wrapped handful of cookies and passed it over to the witch. "Have you seen the stalls? They are so cool! I still dont understand what is being celebrated but there is a lot of sweets!"

Karn’s ears perked at the sound of food. He was getting hungry. “Perfect timing!” He said with a smile and let out a chuckle at his comment. “She’s the one that sat on my lap so its bound to happen.” He said as he nuzzled his head against her. “But if it makes you uncomfortable we’ll tone it down.” Karn knew she didn’t understand he wasn’t going to try to. Especially when he tried to explain it the last time, which didn’t go well.

Karn couldn’t help but chuckle as he watched her throw the donut. “Don’t waste the precious deliciousness.” Pointing out the fact that she wasn’t sharing yet. He took the bag and savored each bite of the donut as he focused his attention on Karina. Hearing that Maddie and Shira were approaching, he patted her to move off him so he could go say hi. “I see you two finally decided to come find us. Here to join us in some mischief?”

He watched the twins carefully and noticed that Kali was thinking about doing something. He always knew the look she had on her face, sighing he walked up to her. “If you do anything to cause harm or scam Maddie. You know we will have face to Alyona. I doubt you want that.” He said in stern voice. To Kali, he was like her bigger brother, keeping her out of trouble when needed to. Plus, he knew that he wouldn’t hear the last of from Shira and the was the last thing he needed was to be nagged and lectured whenever he saw her.

However many aeons has it been? It seemed epochs ago that Diana's cell shut tight, its lock turning with the grating sound of iron teeth. She remembered the sound of broken, metallic bones all too clearly. For several days, she cried herself to sleep after she had struggled against the steel bars. She had shouted her throat sore. But her captors fought the feverish infection with some foul-tasting thing they forced down her mouth.

It went downhill from there.

With her distant, brown eyes, Diana looked at her prison's floor. Yet another meaningless unit of time flowed through her fingertips. Motes of sand fluttered in an invisible hourglass, flapping their invisible wings as though they were butterflies. The beautiful things drifted through the air, but she no longer cared about their presence. All that remained was a singular hope. A wish. A desire at the bottom of her heart, which had grown to be her entire being over the last couple of weeks. Or perhaps days. Or hours. For time no longer held meaning to her; only a single world filled her heart and mind.

Home.

Her teeth chattered as a shiver ran through her spine. Unpleasant fear forced her knuckles to go white. Her pathetic muscles strained, because a moment of clarity ran through her mind.

Diana only had a vague concept of insanity like many people, however, the emotion which dominated her just then felt exactly like what it should be like. A singular thought, a desire taking over everything she held dear. A warped thing radiating from her weak chest. Its touched raked across her skin with long, bone-nailed fingers, using the voices to whisper sweet things into her ear. More cold shivers exploded through her, reducing Diana to a sobbing mess as her unwelcome guests started to promise everything to her again, assaulting what little was left of herself.

But she was at the end of her line. Their promises sounded so alluring: Cooked food. Pleasantly cool water. Warmth. Two bodies to hug to herself. Someone to listen to her tears. So she let them in, surrendering the last motes of her resistance.

The voices picked up, their inane chaos shattering the moment she made her decision. With perfect clarity, they guided her fingers to trace an ancient, detailed symbol into the dust. Disgust welled up in Diana, but she swallowed her emotions and listened so she could trace the intricate work into her cell's floor. It required steady hands, so she took in deep breaths to keep her shaking to a minimum and put all of her lessons into something that would have been trivial to her a long time ago. Now? It seemed she could barely keep her lines straight. Despite the precision she wore with such pride, she had to erase her work several times.

The voices remained patient, however, now that they had her. They advised her on how to correct her mistakes, as well as where she needed something extra so they may begin. They did not ask for much: a few drops of blood (a sharp corner did the job), some bits of metal (she found some scattered on the floor, almost scraping her hands to the bone), and a dead carcass. The last one, she literally had to turn her entire cell over until she found a dead centipede. The thing must have chewed its way through the wall before it died of exhaustion and it was on the verge of decomposing.

Yet Diana did not falter. Even when the taste of vomit entered her mouth at the gruesome demands, she continued with her hope held high and in the end, she beheld the dearest wish of her voices. Now, she only needed the proper words.

"Talpra magyar, hí a haza," she started. Her hesitant voice filled her room. "Itt az idő, most vagy soha." Her words resonated deep within her soul. Though her literature teacher would have likely killed her for using this particular poem, Diana felt it necessary. For it incited change. Revolution. It ignited her home country's desire for freedom and it expressed her desires perfectly: she wanted a way to be free. To head home. To leave her chains behind.

"Rabok legyünk, vagy szabadok?
Ez a kérdés, válasszatok!
A magyarok istenére
Esküszünk,
Esküszünk, hogy rabok tovább
Nem leszünk!"

With each word, she felt an aspect of reality crumble away. She had tried this exact process many times now, but as of this moment, something felt different. It seemed more complete. Whole.

"Rabok voltunk mostanáig,
Kárhozottak ősapáink,
Kik szabadon éltek-haltak,
Szolgaföldben nem nyughatnak.
A magyarok istenére
Esküszünk,
Esküszünk, hogy rabok tovább
Nem leszünk!"

The door opened, but Diana was lost to her reverie. She did not even notice how Isolde had crushed the lock on her door or the words the woman addressed her with. In front of her, Diana's magical circle glowed with a warped light. Figments of red-white played in the air, snowed-in blood bubbling as a result of her machinations. Energies haloed her, crackling with the voice of a thousand suggestions and whispers. The room's walls seemed to start falling away as the spell ate the laws of physics one letter at a time, changing the world to suit a teenager's needs.

And yet, Diana continued.

"Sehonnai bitang ember,
Ki hogy ha kell, halni nem mer,
Kinek drágább rongy élete,
Mint a haza becsülete.
A magyarok istenére
Esküszünk,
Esküszünk, hogy rabok tovább
Nem leszünk!"

Her chant picked up in both volume and confidence as she repeated the chorus, for it resonated with her wish.

Isolde's questions remained unanswered as the young, frail girl continued to chant words that the vampire couldn't comprehend. A sense of worry began to place a feeling of pressure upon the blonde vampire as she quietly, controlling her steps and their noise, approached the small form. Isolde seemed both determined and reluctant as she listened for a moment more, the chanting chorus of noise that filled the lifeless space of the cell as part of her screamed to leave immediately. Her instincts. A low hiss passed through gritted teeth as for once, she aimed to ignore to those quiet whispers of panic beginning to consume her hearing.

Slowly the vampire brought herself closer till a small distance remained between her and the circle that caused her silent concern, a blue-grey gaze watching the girls face carefully before sliding back to the circle. "Creepy magic..." she grumbled to herself, studying its design and shape curiously while committing what she could to memory. The red and white seemed to oppose one another in her own subjective opinion, something that only furthered her dread. In all honesty, Isolde had little idea on how to deal with this situation now and her hatred for the Nox grew with each second. Their stupidity would be their downfall. At the hand of a mortal as well if this girl was strong!

Sighing deeply, her chest heaving with effort as she crouched down to try reduce the height difference. Looking down on the child would undoubtedly not do Isolde any good as it would only make her appear as if one of her captors. Though that itself was probably inevitable considering the pale skin and fangs that she bore. Still, Isolde attempted to reduce her likeness to the Nox members by adjusting her form and stance. "Hello.?..Little one?" She called out, still holding her hands up to show they held nothing of use to her. "Can you hear me?" Isolde could feel her own rage growing at the thought the child could of deaf. If the child was deaf it would be Nox's fault most likely, so her rage towards them festered.

Isolde once again hissed under her breath as the stress of deciding her next actions consumed her. It was not helped as reality around her began to warp and twist with each mutter, each flicker of powerful energy and distortion that followed. It was unnatural and even Isolde, with her usual calmness became conflicted on what exactly to do. She had no obligation to the child technically...this mission had been to damage Nox in some way and so far she had released every other captured mortal. Escaping seemed the best option if she followed that logic. However...Shifting her gaze from the damaged reality around her, Isolde frowned softly as she studied the girl properly.

Frail, hollow and damaged came to mind.

A weak tug of feelings she usually supressed silenced her thoughts for moment as her thoughts of escaping fled. Compassion briefly fluttered to life and Isolde squashed it with the notion this, her next actions, were only further attempts to twist and destroy Nox slowly and painfully by removing even this girl from their greedy grasp. Fangs bit harshly into the soft surface of red lips, drawing blood, as Isolde found herself slipping next to the child, movements stiff. "Okay little one...I have no idea what you are doing...or what this magic is." Isolde stated, gaze continuously, carefully flicking between distortions, the magic circle and the girl. "But...I need to get you out of here so I need you to snap out of this and stop okay?". Part of her was tempted to just grab the girl and run but she had no intentions of messing with magic. "Seriously little one...I'm trying to save you here..." Isolde muttered, worry causing her tone to lower as she sighed. Until the girl snapped out of it and the magic was gone, Isolde hoped that Dimitri's men could keep up the distraction. Reaching out, she settled a hand loosely on the girls shoulder, growing fears that she would accidently do more harm than good whispering worries in her ears, as she furrowed her brows in concern.

"Little one?"

Roth
Mentions: @PhantomThief715 Sephiria/ @Aka~Kitsune Nimhue

Roth had arrived just in time to take note of The Red Rose witch entering the Yeager Hall, the shock and awe of the citizens taking note of the Petrova Matriarch making for an excellent smoke-screen for him. Despite being nearly a head taller than most of the citizens and celebration-goers, no one had seemed to take notice of Roth as he rested himself against the right side of the entrance. Folding his arms across his chest, he leaned heavily against the frame of the doorway and scanned the room curiously.

For the briefest of moments he thought he saw his sister, Amelia, but it was a mistake: a blonde haired woman with a diminutive stature and a hauntingly lovely appearance sat at one of the tables and was seemingly enjoying the amenities. Reaching up to adjust his sunglasses, he noticed some individuals had elected to choose a seat far removed from the others, Silas had mentioned something of his own anti-social nature once before. In truth, Roth scarcely knew any of the Petrova's or Rose Witches by appearance, more so by reputation and he was impressed with their care for their average citizens.

Casting his gaze away from the hall, he saw the Red Queen devouring a plate of food with surprising and admirable conviction. She was enjoying her meal despite the best efforts of a pink-haired companion at her side who seemed in his opinion determined to agitate Sephiria. The little one was borderline dwarfish in height and likely very feisty given how animated she was when speaking to the Red Rose. He might not know the rest but Silas had been very specific that Roth be familiar with her appearance and his demeanor to be nothing less than respectful. Sephiria carried herself with dignity and authority, though it wasn't time for them to meet formally or otherwise so Roth quickly made himself scarce and blended into the crowd. "Rule number one, 'Never Outshine the Master'". He recited the verse in his head.

Once Silas had taken Roth under his tutelage the former had instructed him to memorize the forty-eight laws of power, stating that it was important and leaving it at that. A sly grin traced it's way along Roth's lips as he listened to the clamor of hungry citizens and watchful protectors. Glancing around him, Roth took note of some children at play and some elderly, he proceeded to help them find accommodating seats and even went as far as to gather the food they desired for them. Ruffling the hair of one small boy and smiling down at him, he noticed the boy had a sister and knelt down to whisper in his ear. "Be sure to share and make sure your sister is well fed, it's your job to keep her safe."

He couldn't be sure if the child would listen but he felt it was right to remind him of the value of family. Slowly Roth backed himself out of the hall, careful to avoid too much attention despite his size as his right hand delved into his left-coat pocket. He withdrew his pack of cigarettes and proceeded to ignite then smoke one as he stood alone outside of the hall. "Socializing isn't my thing, Silas knows that. Hmm...about time for that business at Petrova Manor." As opposed to before, he enjoyed his cigarette this time, taking short drags and looking around as the few remaining stragglers made their way into the hall for the banquet. This realm was much nicer, more progressive than the one he'd been born into and he couldn't help but imagine what it might've been like growing up here instead.

Aiyana nods taking her seat next to Sephiria, a place she was often found if not curled up on her shoulders or pockets napping. A plate was sat down before her and she began to eat quietly, simply ignoring the other being at the table with them. Sephiria simply giggles. "It is a special occasion in deed. As for the stalls I was looking around some this morning before I got a call from work. I hope to enjoy the remainder of my day. Today I had some sort of magic demonstration thing in the courtyard some time before the fireworks finaly." She starts "Something about letting the victor of a sparring event go head on against me. Mayor's idea of course."

Sephiria finishes off her wine while a small bowl of mixed fruit was sat in front of her. Her weakness was fruit and strawberry cake. Definitely a bribe if done right. He digs in happily. Aiyana on the other hand ate her food. Once she was done she pushed away from the table and stood behind Sephiria like she'd often do. Once Sephiria was done she excused herself. "I'm going shopping now. Aiyana feel free to get what you'd like." She says with a sweet smile. Aiyana nods. "I will let you know if I find anything Seph." The raven hair woman told before they wonder out of Yeager Hall.[/fieldbox]

Maddie followed Shira through the crowded line of stalls, only occasionally getting distracted by the sounds and sights of the festival. She had considered running a stall of her own rather than working from the shop during the festival period but with all the decorations to be sorted out it hadn't feasible to try and organise one along with everything else she'd had to do to prepare. Plus if she had she wouldn't have been free to enjoy the festival herself.

As they reached the stall the liveliness of the twins and their familiars brought a smile to Maddie's face. She didn't exactly know them - she knew of them, as Shira's friends, but that was about it. Still, didn't that make this the perfect chance to get to know them?

"Good morning," She smiled in response to Karn's greeting. "Shira wanted to stop by; Alyona's working this morning so it's just the two of us for now." As she spoke her eyes were drawn to the selection of jewellery on the table. "Oh wow, these are so pretty! Do you make them yourselves?"

Kali huffed, throwing a soft glare at Karn when he patted her head like a child. Fake hurt and anger danced in her gaze, twisting her lips till she was pouting childishly, only to stick her tongue out a second later. "Not wasting it! That donut served a glorious purpose!" she declared, her usual theatrics returning as she fell into a fit of giggles. It was definitely amusing, throwing a donut at her familiar. Flicking her gaze once more to Maddie and Shira she grumbled, rolling her eyes as she shifted back to the stall and slumped against its side with a huff. "Fine, fine! No pissing off the rose witch, kay? But I'm only promising to play nice this time..."

Once Maddie and Shira reached them, Kali's features softened and a smile graced her lips. This time, it was polite though she was sure that some people would be able to see the falseness behind it. The mention of the rose witch she was married to, Kali just held her tongue as to not grumble about her and her ability to ruin her fun! "Good morning! Maddie right? Heard about you from Karn!~" Pulling herself up stepped closer to the smaller woman, holding her hand out politely. "I am Kaliah, but call me Kali. It is a pleasure to meet you!~"

The small brunette's question had her turning her head to look at the stall, the question alone reminding her she had some of her crafted jewellery pieces today just to pick up extra money. "Oh that..." Honestly, though she enjoyed the craft, tricking an idiot or two got her much more money than her hobby did. "I make them - Not often but it is a good way to use up time and to serve as a distraction..." Heading back to the stall she plucked one of the necklaces up. A silver chain extended to a medium sized cherry blossom flower, each petal studded with tiny pink gems. Two thinner chains were attached to the flower, falling a centimetre or two where two small teardrop shapes were attached, decorated similar to the flower. "Boredom mostly...". Looking back at her collection she shrugged and dropped the necklace back to the table as she smiled again, as the prospect of money came to mind. "Take a look, they are all for sale anyway..."

After Moselle's tears finally subsided she simply sat next to the piano in a daze until there was a faint knock at her door. Her surroundings were hazy at best, and she couldn't seem to focus on anything. She had been thrusted into a state of vertigo, but never the less she forced herself up and out into the corridor. Reaching the front door she opened it casually only to find herself eye to eye with a skeleton dressed in a suit. Completely startled by the creature she jumped away from the door with a yelp, and the creature rattled in surprise as well. Before he could step inside she lunged forward and slammed the door in it's face. If anything the rush of adrenaline was enough for her to snap out of the stupor she had been left in.

"Miss Moselle?" The disembodied voice on the other side of the door called out to her. It held nothing but concern for her, and she had just slammed the door in it's face. Blinking Moselle gripped the doorknob and turned it slowly. This time cautiously opening the door just a little to peek at the creature outside. It was fidgeting, as if nervous from the altercation and Moselle found her curious at such a human like habit. Though the hallow sockets where its eyes should be gave her goosebumps. "Madam the master has left you in my care for now. May I come in?" The skeleton questioned with a voice akin to that of a man. Yet how could it possibly be talking with out any muscle and flesh? Moselle's head began to throb at the thought, and she realized that she wasn't in any condition to be trying to make sense of anything anymore. Opening the door she let in what she assumed was a man. A male skeleton? She brought a hand to her head as it throbbed again and she hissed in annoyance. "It seems you have some discomfort? Does your head hurt madam?" the creature asked quietly as it tilted it's head. Moselle simply nodded finding it hard to speak with the lump in her throat.

With out so much as a word the creature, whom had yet to introduce himself, shut the door behind him and made his way down the corridor. When he realized that Moselle wasn't following him he turned back to look at her. "Do you need aid in walking?" he asked once again tilting his head curiously. Moselle shook her head and scurried behind him as he continued into the empty living room. Just around the corner to the left was where the kitchen was. Moselle didn't notice that she had an open floor plan, and that the only thing separating the kitchen and the living room was a beautiful granite bar. Standing on the opposite side of the bar as the skeleton man checked her cabinets she leaned against the granite counter top by propping herself up with her elbow and resting her head in her open palm. Her mixed matched blue and purple hues watched as the man pulled out some medicine from a cabinet and fetch her a glass of water. Taking the objects from him she took some pain killers and something to help her with her dizziness. Then drank what was left of the glass of water. Taking a moment she closed her eyes and focused on her breathing while she waited for the medicine to start working. "It might take around thirty minutes Madam. Would you like to lay down in the mean ti-" but the fellow was cut off by her stomach grumbling noisily. Again he silently went to work and opened the fridge only to find it absent of any food much like the cabinets. "It seems we must go out for food today madam, or I can come back with some sustenance. Which would please you?" he turns to look at her with those empty eye sockets of his.

Moselle stopped herself from shuddering under his gaze. The voids where his eyes should be were nothing short of creepy. Swallowing the lump in throat she tries to think of an answer. Should she leave the apartment? Maybe some fresh air could do her some good. In fact when was the last time she actually had fresh air? It had been a long time since she left the safety of the Card Suit Society, so she had little contact with a natural environment. However there was a festival today, and no doubt the streets would be crowded with god knows what. "How crowded is it right now?" she asks her voice slightly hoarse from crying.

"You currently reside at the ocean front. Most activity will be taking place with in the city, but there are families who celebrate The Monster Mash at the beach and the docks. Activity will be...average until the fire work display later tonight." The skeleton responded back to her timely and efficiently. Mulling over this information she comes to a quick decision. It would be nice to get some fresh air and to see her neighborhood, for now anyways. She gives the creature a small smile of thanks before walking away. She was going to freshen up in the bathroom before leaving the loft. Shutting the bathroom door behind her she takes a look into the mirror. Her eyes were puffy and irritated, and her skin looked wet from her previous tears. Tucking her long hair into the back of her shirt she turns on the faucet and begins to splash her face with some mildly warm water. Turning it off she grabbed the nearest hand towel and dried her face. Plucking a tissue from its box she blew her nose of any snot and tossed it in the trash bin next to the sink. Staring into the mirror once again she pulled out her hair and let the white locks cascade down her back and frame her face. She looked a lot better, but her hair could probably use a brushing. Unfortunately after looking through the sink's drawer she didn't find a brush. With a shrug she takes care of any remaining needs and exits the bathroom after washing her hands. "Feeling better madam?" The no named skeleton asks her as she returns to the kitchen.

"Much better..er...I don't think I got your name." Moselle mentions to him, to which his bones rattled in delight. He seemed happy and eager to introduce himself. He tells her that his name is Winston, and repeats his earlier statement that his "master" had left the madam in his care. It wasn't hard to gather that the master he spoke of was Morris, and while the skeleton man was a little creepy looking in appearance Moselle liked idea that she wouldn't be staying in this huge loft by herself. "I think I would like to eat out, would you take me some where nice to eat?" She asks the man with a polite smile. Again the man's bones seemed to rattle in what she could only assume was delight. Letting the creature named Winston lead the way, she followed out him out of the apartment. The door locking on its own after her departure until she would arrive again later in the evening. Moselle's hues explored all the details of the hallways as the skeleton lead her into the stairwell. The descended the steps in silence until reaching the bottom floor. Entering the apartment buildings lobby she noticed a man with long blonde hair and pointed ears retrieving some mail. Another resident no doubt, but Moselle could not really get a good look of his face. All she could tell was that the man dressed really elegantly, and she wondered if maybe the other inhabitants were wealthy. Leaving the building Moselle took inhaled some fresh air. It smelled just like the air of her coastal town back in Massachusetts, but it was sunny outside. For some reason this place looked brighter too, as there were all sorts of colors she would have never seen in her old home. There were people walking down the streets, and to her surprise not all of them looked monstrous at all. She wasn't quite sure why she was even worried. Looking up she watched as a family of Magi fly over head on their brooms heading down the block. Her gaze following them before seeing a faint glimpse of a sandy shore and the shimmering blue bay.

"This way Miss. There is a quaint little cafe farther down the dock." The voice of her escort called our to her a few feet down the side walk. Walking his way Moselle welcomed the sea breeze in her hair, the new chapter of her life, and even the hardships she might face.

Shira and Karin

Mentioned: Kali and Her familiar and Alyona

Shira had walked up to the stall with Maddie she stayed at her side protectively she knew what the twins could do, but she didn't want to offend Karn or the twins, but maddie was her family and in her care. She be in trouble if anything happened to her witches wife. Shira poked her head up and put her paws on the table and nods to karn. She twitched her tale happily. He was normally a very large playmate for her. She was a large cat and he was a large wolf. She wanted to jump on the table. She looked back at Maddie, but got a look and pulled her paws down. “Hey Karn, Hey Kari.” she said in a deep purr like voice. Her eyes trained on Kali. She wasn't sure if she wanted her near Maddie.

When the girl came around the stall. She stepped closer in a protective manner her hackles raising up. Shira watched the girl hold out her hand to maddie and showed her fangs. She watched to make sure it wasn't a trick. She called the girls the Devil twins for a reason. They were devious and untrustworthy in her opinion. She worked with Kari more often and the girl seemed to have a mostly okay head on her shoulders. She knew Alyona would not approve of them if anything happened to madi so she probably had to real her sister in. She looked at Kari and karn she tilted her head wondering if he would come play with her. She sat waiting her tail twitching happily. Kari looked at Karn and nods to go run around with Shira.

Kira really didn't want trouble with this womans wife and knew that Shira was Karns playmate well besides that little dark witches familiar Ent. She loved the darkness that came off that thing. She had always enjoyed shadows and he was definitely a hoot. She knew her sister wasn't happy about having to play nice, but they had all day to make deals and con people. Maddie was just there break. Her lips had curled at her sister's familiar. She had rolled her eyes hating the stupid thing that her sister had chosen. She was nice to it when she wanted to be other times she just completely ignored him. She have her moments where she want to do something to him or send spirits after him, but Karn always told her no. She hated when he was right. She never wanted to hurt her twin. She waited for Karn to walk shira away before genuinely smiling at maddie which slightly made her seem devious. “How are things going with Shira seems a bit off.” she said. Shira was protective but had been standing a bit off from maddie. Karin was good at picking up on things.

She figured she talk to the woman in case her wife decided to pop up out of nowhere. Karin was watching her gently. She turned her head when she felt as if someone was looking at her. Her gaze landed upon something out of the ordinary and she turned back to Maddie before anyone could notice. She felt the hairs on her neck rise and she rubbed a hand along her neck to stop the tingling she felt. Why did she have that bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. She knew something was off. She just tried to shake it off, not realizing she gone more place than she normally was and her hand had been gripping the table so hard they were taught over her long thin fingers.

"That is unfortunate, it appears I didn't make it in time to speak to the spirits." Spoke a curious voice towards the Chartreuse rosebud as the words seem to sound close but the person who had whispered them was a couple arm's lengths away. He listened to her speak the incantation as he watched her carefully. He noticed the stall beginning to close before him as it brought itself together and eventually settled itself within her pocket. "May I ask when you will be available next? And also perhaps, your name?" The voice settled softly into her ears as he stated this. The character hadn't been seen in a gratuitous amount of time and their clothes seemed strangely formal for the region. A nice soft colored grey suit which wrapped itself a bit loosely around the man. Bandages covering their hands and fingers as their face was covered by the metallic mask that revealed a few metal openings that shone red. Potentially being the places for this person to see. Cloth covered the rest of their head as well as their neck as they flowed almost like hair at the back of his head.

He noticed her moving on towards the feast as he informally decided to invite himself as well as he began to walk towards the climax of the celebration. It had been ages since they had been here and it seemed as if things had remained similar as he listened to the music and people chatter. Though, the Thief still believed that things like this were never too last and it was simply a disguise that people placed to pretend to enjoy their lives. Like his mask, there was a face that people showed others and then the one that actually exists itself.

He watched as the witch herself settled down with a plate of eggs as she began to eat as he decided to join her. He seemed strange and a bit odd but didn't seem to be particularly bothersome as he pulled a case from within his pants pocket and opened it to reveal plenty of cards that were contained within. He pulled them out as there didn't seem to be anything on the cards at all as their backs were delicately designed with black, grey and white images of dragons encircling one another. He carefully shuffled them as he seemed to be focused on making sure they were randomized despite their faces being blank. He placed them intimately on the table before returning towards the witch. "If you allow me to speak to the spirits later I can at least tell you your fortune in return." He stated this carefully, still curious about her little shop and seemed to be keen on making it happen though as he presented these cards he quietly revealed part of his skin which was very pale underneath the bandages as he pulled out a small knife from his chest pocket as he cut his exposed flesh as it began to drip deep red droplets onto the cards. The cards seemed to absorb this as if drinking the blood in a drunken pleasure as they reacted and shook to the strange offering that was given. The cards began to await to see their use as the dragons themselves began to become more detailed as gold adornments seemed to appear among them as if they were given a treasure worth enough for their satisfaction.

This was the Grey Rose. They would make time to meet with the other witches but for now, they at least wished to be entertained before such a meeting.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roth walked against the wind and away from the jubilant sounds that emanated from the banquet with no small amount of satisfaction. As with each person that attended, that was one less witness or pair of prying eyes. "Law Thirty-five, Master the Art of Timing." He recited the verse in his mind, amused that everything was going so thoroughly according to the plan. The bottom half of his trench-coat billowed outward from the force of the wind as it buffeted him, though he trudged along at his same determined pace. He passed by apartment complexes, a few children's parks and eventually an elementary school. He appreciated the notion of educating the new generation and took note of how tight knit the community was. Various mom and pop shops lined the city streets, it seemed to be a perfect place. He knew better. Roth proceeded further out of town with haste, having burnt through half a dozen cigarettes in his journey thus far. He knew that he was growing closer to his destination as the houses began to be surrounded by trees as he neared the edge of the forest. Silas's instructions had been concise but accurate as they lead him through the labyrinth that was the forest and directly to the gates of Petrova Manor. "Trust yourself, not your eyes. Embrace your magic, not the lies. Shed your blood and drop the disguise." He chanted the words aloud before withdrawing a stone knife with a leather hilt from within the confines of his coat and promptly sliced open his palm before smearing his blood on the gates. Roth was almost surprised as magical wards and shielding suddenly crackled and sputtered from the gate before it slowly creaked and churned inward, allowing passage for him. He glanced down and noticed his hand was healed as if it'd never been cut at all. "It worked." He thought, as he slowly walked up to Petrova Manor and let himself in.

Opting to take a shorter path, Skylar flew directly to the manor by passing over the swathes of forest that covered the hills and eventual mountains that separated the Petrova Estate from the rest of Nautchwald. Following the road, while it would be a nice scenic route, would take too long and Skylar did have other plans today other than her mischief. She chuckled at her familiar egging in her bad habits, and gave him a small smile. She knew that he had been cooped up for far too long and was itching for what he considered a good time. Approaching their destination her red hues immediately noticed something out of place. The Estates front gates were wide upon and had been left unattended, which could mean one thing. Someone was smart enough to break their family wards and trespass onto the property with out being detected. While most would find this disturbing and seek aid immediately, Skylar felt a rush of excitement from the thrill of potential danger. She was also quite impressed with their skill being a ward cracker herself. Easing into a descent, she swooped under and past the gate on her broom with Ent floating along by her side. She didn’t make an effort to close them behind her, as the thought of Sephiria or one of the others panicking over a possible intrusion was enough to bring her great joy. She might even pay a visit later to see the look on their faces. Coming to the manor’s steps at a steady pace allowed Skylar to effortlessly slip of her broom and onto the asphalt. Upon landing she extended and open palm as her broom reverted back into the form of a small charm and floated into her open hand. Enclosing the item in a fist she raised both arms over her head and stretched her muscles. Once relaxed she patched the charm back into her bracelet, before turning to Ent. “Alrighty Ent. I can take it from here. Why don’t you see if you can find someone to pester, and I’ll let you know when I’m finished.” The teen gently instructed her familiar; Allowing him to have free reign to explore the house and have some devious fun of his own.

Upon entering the majestic home of the Petrova's, Roth hastily delved his right hand into the corresponding pocket on the outside of his trench-coat, retrieving a make-shift keychain with various amulets and talismans dangling from it, not unlike a charm bracelet. Pinching one between his thumb and index fingers, he could feel the ridges of it's design as they bore into his flesh with just enough sharpness to bring blood to the surface and wet the charm. "Hnn." He grunted under his breath as he waited for a moment, then the charm began to glow faintly before engulfing his body in prismatic light. The charm itself turning into a prism which absorbed all light as it approached it's wielder and seemingly deflected it, rendering Roth entirely invisible to the natural light spectrum. "Silas has the most interesting toys..." he chuckled as he proceeded toward the right wing of the manor, taking note of the grand staircase as he entered and thinking it was a bit over the top. "Right wing...nestled away safely in Magnolia's office. Top drawer, left hand side of the desk." Roth recited the instructions in his mind as he carefully snuck past several servants, mindful to hold his breath as to not give away his position when in close proximity. Making his way meticulously through the manor as though he'd lived there his entire life, he couldn't help but grin as he eyed the mayor's door and after waiting to be certain no one was present he delicately twisted the doorknob and to his surprise it was unlocked. "Why lock a door inside the most well-guarded location in the realm?" Striding through the room with purpose, he took his seat in Magnolia's mayoral chair and cast his gaze and attention to the left-hand side and to his satisfaction the drawer was there. It's contents hidden behind a locking mechanism. "Time for the last hurdle."

Skylar ascends the front steps and quietly slips through the front door. She didn’t wish to draw any unnecessary attention to herself, and if anyone asked she was here to get something that she had forgotten after visiting family. It was a little lie, but one that people wouldn’t question. In truth Skylar hated coming here. After all this was supposed to be HER home too, and she felt like even though she was a Petrova, plus a Rose Witch, she was never welcome on the estate. Her red orbs scan over all the grandeur that was the front lobby. The tall ceiling, chandelier, the elegant stair case, tables of busts and floral bouquets. Everything was perfect here, well asides from the manor’s residents. Scurrying off towards the right of the stair case she entered a long corridor that lead to Magnolia’s office. As her quick steps carried her to the destination ahead, Skylar would gaze at all the moving portraits along the wall of past family members. She noticed the flick of white and a familiar face, and it caused her to momentarily stop at the piece. Staring down at her was an image of her grandfather, Xavier. He had a stern expression, but Skylar couldn’t help but notice that the man’s eyes lit up upon seeing her. It made her shudder. Skylar never liked the idea of moving portraits, and they gave her the creeps. Shaking off the feeling she got from Xavier’s portrait Skylar pressed on. Eventually she comes across Magnolia’s room, and hoists the bag off her shoulders. Pinching the metal tag at the top she pulls it down with a loud zip, and opens up her bag. The young girl checks to make sure she has everything, which she does, before entering the room. Quietly turning the door knob, she is surprised to find it unlocked. In fact it causes her to chuckle outwardly. “Oh magnolia, you stupid old ha-“ she pauses as the door creaks open to reveal a man sitting at the mayor’s desk. He is leaning over slightly, a frustrated expression on his face upon her arrival.

“What kind of freaky shit is that old crone into?”
Skylar asks mostly to herself not really wanting an answer from the stranger. Her face twists in disgust as she actually imagines magnolia getting hot and heavy in her office. The sound of footsteps pulls Skylar back into reality for the moment, and in a panic she steps through the door and closes it behind her. She is quiet with her ear pressed against the door. The steps grow louder, but pause at the other side of the office door. There’s a disgruntled sigh and the sound of spraying and wiping. Someone must be dusting the portraits in the hallway. When the person moves on Skylar let’s out relieved sigh.

Roth had just begun to pick the magical lock of the desk drawer when he heard something about an 'old crone' as a young woman, no more than a teenager jaunted into the room and hastily closed the door behind her. "Strange choice," he thought as he studied Skylar from his seated position at the desk, his prying eyes hidden behind his sunglasses. "Definitely a witch..." He mused as he considered her body language and attire, no servant would be dressed in such a manner and no one other than a family member would be in the manor. "Which Petrova are you?" Roth posed the question in an equal parts curious and bored manner. "I was hoping to be done before anyone noticed I'd been here at all, you've thrown quite the monkey-wrench in my best laid plans. My name is Astaroth...though most prefer Roth." Returning his attention to the drawer Roth extended his right index finger and focused all of the magic bestowed upon him into the tip of that finger, allowing the yellow magic to pool up until it slowly seeped out into an aura. He focused more intently, picturing the shape of a key in his mind's eye and the aura around his finger responded in kind, creating a key of pure magic that fit perfectly into the locking mechanism. Turning his finger clockwise, the key maintained a corporeal form and turned as well, the sounds of the lock releasing it's clasps was made audible before the drawer abruptly lurched outwards to expose it's contents. "Good...I don't like surprises...now to find the diamond among the garbage." Engulfing his hand in the yellow magic that he'd used to open the lock as a pre-caution, he carefully began rummaging through the drawers contents, though still keeping his peripheral vision glued to Skylar.

When the man spoke up Skylar whipped her head back at him with an annoyed glare. "Does it matter?" she hissed at him. If anything she should be asking who HE was. Skylar's attention shifts to the glowing light from behind the desk, and she was quite familiar with the spell he was using. She was surprised that her grandfather hadn't warded the drawer, since he kept it locked for a reason. Maybe when he died the wards he put into place died with him? "If they were so great a wrench wouldn't have been thrown into them." Skylar snickered finding herself quite witty in her remark. The poor girl. Skylar wasn't much interested in the man himself, but rather took a look at her new surroundings. She had never been in Magnolia's office before, but eventually she couldn't help but be curious as to the contents of her grandfather's drawer. Easing her way over to the stranger who had introduced himself as Roth, she peered into it while the man shuffled some of the items around. It just looked like folders, some loose leaf papers, and a leather bound journal. Just what exactly was this guy looking for? It didn't look like there was anything of importance in there. "Maybe there's a false bottom or some kind of mechanism that opens another compartment? I'd imagine Grandpa wouldn't be the type to so easily have his secrets taken."

Roth's lips drew back into a grimace as he perused the various irrelevant things he found in the drawer, none of which being what Silas had described. The young witch who'd now joined him without so much as a hint of fear or reluctance possessed an ethereal charm that he found rather interesting, she was attractive by being disinterested and spiteful. Lost in his thoughts for the briefest of moments the magical aura around his hand shattered, the last remnants of his borrowed magic evaporating into nothingness and with it the defenses of the desk hastily shocked his hand and causing a burn along his fingers. "Argh...Silas is going to be very disappointed if I don't acquire what I came for, the manor won't be this empty again for awhile."

"You seem to be an enterprising and mischievous young witch, care to explore that false bottom theory? Other than a specific talisman, you can help yourself to whatever else we find." He made the proposal with a Cheshire grin and lofted his eyebrows in curiosity. Law thirteen, he repeated with in his mind, When asking for help, appeal to someone's self-interest or desires, rather than their mercy or generosity. Roth was very much in uncharted waters as his entire plan had been nearly derailed by this unforeseen development.

Skylar noticed how the magic dispersed from the other, any Magi would be able to tell that the magic wasn’t his. When the warding magic shocked the others hand she wondered if that meant he was even a Magi at all. It was pretty ballsy to trespass into a place like this as Magi alone, but on borrowed magic? This stranger must have a lot of confidence in whoever this Silas person was. “Sounds like fun stranger.” Skylar wears a devilish smile at his proposal. Though in truth she would have been happy just knowing she had been a thorn in Sephiria’s side by getting into Xavier’s things. She sets her black bag beside the desk and begins to rummage through the drawer and remove its contents. Taking interest in the leather bound journal she shoves it into her bag. With everything out of the way she could see a blood sigil set deep into the wood. “Ah. Even with the magic you borrowed I don’t think you’d have been able to crack this one. It’s a blood seal, so only the person who created it would be able to open the false bottom. It’s a good thing I’m here, being a blood relative I might be able to work around it.” She muses intrigued by the work. Bringing a thumb up to her lips she sinks her teeth into its flesh. At the first hint of drawn blood she reaches her hand down into the drawer. A surge of magical energy sparking and popping against her fingers. The raven haired vixen grimaces, a large smile on her face as pain shoots up her arm. She mutters a spell under her breath as she presses her thumb into the sigil. The ward emits a blue hue before it shatters, and Skylar draws back her hand with a laugh as the sigil burns away. Her entire arm is limp at her side, and the hand sports third degree burns. “What a rush! The amount of power the Blue Rose has must be... I can only imagine what it would have done to you.” She groans out between heavy pants. Breaking the seal took a lot of Mana, and in this state she wondered if she’d even be able to cast her prank. With the seal gone the bottom of the drawer makes a soft popping noise, as if it had loosened from the ward’s disappearance.

Roth paid close attention as his newfound associate went to work on solving his problem for him, though he was confused as to why Silas would've sent him without the appropriate tools to succeed, unless...Roth shook his head to dismiss the possibility as he saw sparks and magical burns travel along the young girl's arm. The sight of it frustrated him, he despised seeing young women in pain, it reminded him of Amelia...perhaps this was his fault too and her wounds were also due to his failures. His blameful thoughts were interrupted by the sound of what he could only surmise was the young girl enjoying the feeling of pain that the ward has caused. He pondered if this was a deep-seated psychological issue in which she felt so numb that it took immense pain to make her feel alive or she was just a masochist, one could never really know. "I'm expendable, my life is of little consequence so losing an arm would've been a small price to pay for my employer." In truth, he would gladly die if it meant he could help Silas in any way possible, in many ways he was the father Roth always wanted.

"I'll take it from here while you...recover, you are too important to risk further injury, if danger is still present that is." With that, he reached down with admittedly a few reservations but much to his relief when his flesh touched the drawer's false bottom, nothing happened. Carefully he dislodged it from it's position and exposed the various hidden gems that lie ripe for the taking. It took only a moment for him to spot it, a talisman on a long golden chain, the item itself small and unassuming, however it possessed a metallic blue hue and when the light struck it, the talisman would glow and radiate with blue magic. Using his left hand he quickly reaches into his right coat-pocket and reveals a small white cloth, seemingly made of satin. In it's center a yellow skull with rubies for eyes and embroidered around the corners of the cloth was a wreath of briars, wrapping it around his hand he quickly reaches down to wrap it in the cloth. The magic of the talisman crackled against the cloth but was swallowed by more of the yellow magic that Roth had used previously as he tucked it away into the confines of his coat. "I believe I should be going quite soon, but I'd like to know the name of my lovely associate. That I may be more thankful and inform my employer of how helpful you were to this mission."

“Mm.” Skylar gave a sound of disapproval. She was important to very little people, so she questioned his choice of words. What did he mean by that, or why would he say it? Skylar decided it wasn’t worth asking about. Still she found the mans hesitance at touching the bottom to be quite amusing after all that talk of ‘being expendable’. She kept her snickers to herself. When the false bottom was lifted out of the drawer Skylar leaned forward eagerly to see what treasures awaited the two of them. There was quite a few shiny trinkets in here, as well as an envelope addressed to Sephiria her grandmother. She watched silently as the man took out a handkerchief, and took note of its design. It was pretty, and she thought about getting one herself. Awe washed over her as he engulfed a shiny talisman with the cloth, and that same yellow magic enveloped it for safe keeping. The trinket was probably dangerous to touch, and Skylar wonders what it was. Then it was her turn to ransack their findings. Skylar shifted a few things around before her hues caught a glint at the far back corner of the drawer. Reaching in she grabs what feels like a coin between her fingers, and pulls it out to get a closer look at it. It shimmered at her touch with the same yellow magic she had noticed just a few moments ago. “Pretty.” The Girl murmurs to herself as she pockets the coin into her back pocket for safe keeping. She winced as the adrenaline from her earlier wardpicking had faded leaving her with a searing pain, but a small smile never once left her face. Turning to look at the man sitting comfy in Magnolia’s chair she says “I’m surprised you don’t know. Mostly everyone in this stupid place knows who I am.” Despite her harshness when referring to all of Nautchwald, she has a relaxed tone to her smokey voice. It was almost refreshing being in a situation where someone didn’t know who she was, and having to introduce herself.
Leaning over she lifts her bookbag from the floor and sets it in front of him. “I’m Skylar. Now perhaps you could do me a little favor before you leave stranger?” Easing open her bag, she shows him several canisters of Bubble Cannons nestled safely inside.

Roth tilted his weight into the back of the chair comfortably as he proceeded to prop his feet up on Magnolia's desk, crossing his right leg over his left and eagerly retrieving a cigarette from his dwindling reservoirs in his coat. Hastily igniting it he took a long drag as he pondered Skylar's words before offering her a simple nod. "Skylar Petrova...I'll hazard a guess that you're the black rose witch. I apologize, I'm not from around here." Inhaling deeply as he puffed on the cigarette he allowed the smoke to exit through his nose to avoid barraging Skylar with it. "Hm?" He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth as he lofted his right eyebrow in question of her intentions. "Well, you've been such a delight thus far, seems only right I should aid you before I depart." He could afford a few more minutes of this mischief and he was honestly enjoying not knowing what was going to happen, for once. "As for that coin...toss it in water sometime and make a wish. You might be surprised." Roth wasn't certain if he should've informed her of the coin's true purpose but if it was Silas' will, then who was he to question it?

Skylar crosses her arms in anticipation while ignoring her scalded arm throbbing with pain. Her mouth felt dry at the sight of his cigarette, and a needing ache spreads through out her body. She’d have to borrow some from a friend later. Skylar’s red painted lips twitched at the mentioning of her title. “Hey no need to apologize. Good guess on your part, but it’s not that important. Are you going to help me or not?” Skylar says to the other with a small smile as she shuffled her feet. The scent of the cigarette smoke began to waft in the air around them, and Skylar started to feel agitated waiting for an answer. When he decided to aid her in her devious efforts Skylar’s red orbs lit up with excitement. Any irritation set aside for the moment as she was finally returning to her original purpose of being here. The next twenty minutes was spent with the two of them placing various bubble cannons through out the room. Roth would set them in spaces where Skylar couldn’t reach while her mana recharged. For the most part the two engaged in very little small talk, with the occasional joke or two on Skylar’s behalf. After all the cannons were in place Skylar showed her thanks by helping Roth clean up any obvious signs of theft. Packing up her things Skylar notices that they had forgotten about the letter addressed to her grandmother. She snatched it up from the desk and held it up to the light, but due to the nature of how the contents were folded Skylar couldn’t really make out anything. Plus it was in cursive. damn old people.... She thought to herself as she stuffs the envelope into her bag. The young girl takes a moment to double check that everything is good, and turns to face her current partner in crime waiting by the door. “Alright! Well this has been fun, best leave now while we can.”

He found the planting of bubble cannons throughout the office to be entertaining as he watched Skylar through his sunglasses. Roth had never experienced a childhood, much less had he ever pranked anyone...it was fun. He felt sorrowful for the young witch as he knew she must feel very alone to be so rebellious despite her station in life, he hoped that at the least she was different from the rest. Roth had already burnt through two cigarettes in the time it took the duo to finish their devilish schemes and was eagerly puffing on a third as his partner waited by the door. "We'll have to do this again sometime, I think. The thrill of the unknown or if we'll be discovered...the punishment, it's enough to send a chill down my spine and not in a bad way. Now, if you'll excuse me...I'll be taking my leave through the bathroom." He approached Skylar somberly and tilted his head down as a show of respect, offering her a sly grin as he excused himself from the room. The maids and servants in their wing had gone off to finish other tasks, leaving the area quite easy to traverse. The manor was not short of bathrooms, bedrooms, guest rooms and every other type of room, it was quite accommodating he had to admit, though he loathed the lavish lifestyle.

Upon eyeing the nearest bathroom he quickly turned the handle and lurched inwards, hastily locking it behind him before turning around to examine the bathtub. It was nearly as long as he was and quite deep, obviously designed for luxury and relaxation, it was perfect. Placing the stopper in the tub and turning on the hot water Roth patiently waited as it filled with water. He contemplated what other tasks Silas would have for him and how Amelia would be feeling today as he absent-mindedly reached into his lower-right coat pocket with his right hand and retrieved a small golden coin, not unlike the one Skylar had found. Once the bathtub had filled, he tossed the coin into the water and pictured The Hollow in his mind, in moments the water shuddered and bubbled as out of nowhere a doorway appeared to greet him. Opening up to Roth, he could see his destination and without a second thought he went in and closed the door behind him, allowing it to vanish from the water it'd come from.

Effortlessly landing next to Skylar. He let out a small noise and nudged her hand. She gave him free reign as he watch her go. With a small shake of his head he sunk to a shadow and moved along slinking through the door. No door was locked to him no room was off limits. He was a shadow a wisp of the imagination. He only was seen when he wanted to be. Slinking along the ground his head slowly popped up in the living room. He slowly formed and looked around hell, this place wasn't half bad. He looked around and started to sniff. He sniffed a couch pillow and grabbed it in his razor sharp teeth. He shook his head and growled till it ripped apart and fluff went everywhere. More than half amused he started to jump from couch to couch clawing and destroying the pillows. He rolled and growled as he played in the fluff.

Slinking under the couch he found a squeaky toy. He hopped on the couch and started to chew on the toy squeaking it loudly. He happily enjoyed the chew toy. His teeth gnawing on it not to puncture but because it felt good. He squeaked it again and tossed it running after it as he growled and chewed on it. He was playing with it and flicked his ear as it bounced to the kitchen he been roughly throwing it and catching it. His head tilted and dropped the squeaky toy as he sniffed the air. Something smelled good. Padding along he followed his nose and put his paws on the counter. Someone had left bacon out. He pulled the food off the plate proceeding to eat it up.

After he finished his meal he locked his lips and picked up the squeaking toy and went to find Skylar to show her his new found squeak ball. He wandered to the front door and sat waiting as he squeaked the ball. After a bit he frowned, with not much to do with out his witch he curled up and fell asleep in the corner by the door ears perked for any trouble, but a nap sounded good. He was running low on energy any way Skylar hadn't fed him any chaotic energy today. She normally didn't forget him. Which made him moody and often upset with his witch. He fallen asleep curled in the corner a small round shadowy dog with pointy ears, he was curled around the ball. He stayed that way until he was summoned by Skylar. He could be lazy and lethargic, mostly when he hadn't been fed, other than that he was a energetic over enthusiastic protective shadow. His gleaming white eyes normally shine in the dark of her room when they went to lay down to sleep it creeped most people out, not Skylar she rather enjoyed them.

Ent had spent a lot of reserve energy playing with the couch cushions and his new found toy. So his slumber was deep and not even the squeaky ball could wake him. Normally Skylar would have to touch him to get him awake. When he did wake low on food he be slightly grumpy and untalkative. He could be a down right pain in the ass when not properly fed.

Even as a hand caressed her shoulder, Diana's focus remained steadfast. Her body refused to respond with the slightest of twitches, for her voices stole her world away. They buzzed in her head, bleaching every detail so her words would keep flowing regardless of changes to the flow of reality. Walls may have weeped with moan-filled creeks, kindness may have tried to reach out, white-red may have overflowed, heat may have started to seep into her palms... yet nothing reached her. Only poetry remained.

"Fényesebb a láncnál a kard,
Jobban ékesíti a kart,
És mi mégis láncot hordtunk!
Ide veled, régi kardunk!
A magyarok istenére
Esküszünk,
Esküszünk, hogy rabok tovább
Nem leszünk!"

Her voice echoed in the cell, louder than it should have been from the lips of a malnourished girl. Particularly, the chorus seemed to strike like thunder; every single word held an army within. Her countrymen's feelings when they overthrew their oppressors in a bloodless revolution. An intense desire to cast their chains off and take up arms so they may earn independence.

"A magyar név megint szép lesz,
Méltó régi nagy hiréhez;
Mit rákentek a századok,
Lemossuk a gyalázatot!
A magyarok istenére
Esküszünk,
Esküszünk, hogy rabok tovább
Nem leszünk!"

Magic erupted. It sprang forth from Diana as a tidal wave. Over a year of confinement and despair transformed into arcane might, condensing into a substance as thick as tainted blood. Reality no longer seemed to warp, however, the air filled with destructive scents. Black motes of light surrounded a frail teenager, stitched mouths splitting their incorporeal frame. Seams anchored in invisible lips strained with the sound of tightened rope.

"Hol sírjaink domborulnak,"

Creak.

"Unokáink leborulnak,"

Snap.

"És áldó imádság mellett,"

Snap. Snap.

"Mondják el szent neveinket."

Snap! Snapsnapsnapsnapsnapsnap...

Silence.

A magyarok istenére
Esküszünk,
Esküszünk, hogy rabok tovább
Nem leszünk!

By all the gods of Hungary
We swear,
We swear, that the yoke of slavery
We shall no longer wear!

The chorus shattered reality, transcending language and rules alike. It reached across unspeakable distances to find its object of desire, then yanked on its invisible chains, breaking through countless barriers in the process. Surpassing the speed of light, nay, the speed of aether, a beautifully crafted shell of metal exploded into Diana's hands. Metaphysical momentum bled off into pure heat, scorching the ground. An entire building trembled in response and Diana's voices let loose a gleeful cackle.

Without warning, the black motes around Diana exploded into action. They hammered walls around her, literally slicing through them and causing her prison to practically sway with the force of impacts. Brick performed no better than paper before their might, exploding in a shower of debris and dust. A storm of ruined walls engulfed the area, raining destruction on innocent citizens, leaving behind a structure on its last legs.

It would not be long before it collapsed under its own weight.

"Cake please?"

Rafe sighed for the third time since picking up his daughter as an amused grin raised the corner of his lips. Yellow eyes met baby blue ones, observing Freya who he held at his side, her head resting on his shoulder as her tiny arms remained wrapped around his neck. She was upset having been watched over by Veda, Rafe's mother and was now determined to stick close to her dad. "Sweet heart, you can't just have cake for every meal..." He grumbled. "Plus you need to eat healthy...".. Food and snack suggestions were just one of the many things Rafe took from the various parenting books his mother shoved into his arms when he returned with Freya years back and he stuck to them. Adjusting his grip on her he twisted his free arm to reach into the bag strapped across his chest and settled by his side.

"No, cake!"

Freya seemed to pout, her words growing louder while Rafe shifted through the toys and found a small Tupperware box. Pulling out the plastic box he brought it up to eye level to the blue haired child attached to his hip. "Cake later and only if you are good, okay Freya?". The little girl observed the box curiously for a moment or two, studying its contents before nodding. Her small hands reached out eagerly till Rafe handed over the box to let her carry it, her own eyes lighting up with the independence she had of carrying the box. While Freya was stuck looking through the plastic to determine what she wanted to eat, Rafe shook his head with a small grin.

While she was busy, Rafe glanced around the stalls lazily, his grin fading. He was happy to be able to take Freya out today, especially as it was the last day of the festival, he was just not happy with the circumstances that led him to be able to take her out. An exhausted sigh parted from his lips as he rubbed the bottom of his free hand against his temple, fingers eventually settling over one of his eyes. Rafe couldn't deny the frustration and slowly developing anger at his now current state of unemployment but he was determined to at least focus of Freya today.

Finding a free table settled by one of the hot food stalls, Rafe grinned and stepped over to the counter to order a coffee. By now, Freya was fed up waiting to be seated and was now trying to open the latches on the box herself, her wide doe like eyes were narrowed in concentration. Rafe couldn't help but reach up to ruffle the baby blue locks on his daughter's head as he watched her determined attempt. Grabbing a couple coins that were freely tumbling in his jeans pocket, Rafe took his coffee and headed over to one of the free plastic tables and popped both the coffee and Freya's snacks down before seating her in the chair next to him. Undoing the box, Rafe settled the box of two triangle cheese sandwiches and cut up fruit in front of her. Leaning back in his own chair, coffee settled against his lips he chuckled. "Better now, pup?"

"Mhm!"

Within seconds, the two year old had stuffed the cut up strawberry between her lips and already, the food was beginning to get all over her face. Rafe just found it hilarious as Freya happily chewed away at her favourite fruit, a wide grin on her lips. Taking a sip of his own hot drink, Rafe pulled out the phone settled in his pocket and decided to text Veda, who was confused at the change in plans as she was supposed to watch Freya most of the day while he was at work at a nearby convenience store. His message was short but to the point as he explained what happened at work and how he had been fired for arguing with a customer when they were verbally harassing a new employee who was working the tills. Knowing his own mother's attitude, Rafe put his phone on silent and flipped it upside down on the table to avoid the onslaught of messages he was bound to get.

"Why sad?"

Blinking as he broke himself from his musings, Rafe looked back to Freya with confusion on his features for a moment. It took him a second to process his daughter's words before he smiled, folding his arms on the table as he dropped his head onto them, eyes trained on her. "Nah, pup. I am fine!" he responded happily, his grin stuck on his face. "Hey, Freya. What do you want to do next? There is face painting, a puppet show...There are some games I think, If I remember?" He added, reaching up to scratch his head in thought. "I think one had bubbles...". Rafe had an idea what would happen next, mentioning bubbles considering Freya's love of them. How many bubble blowing machines did they have back at home? Freya perked up instantly, one of the cheese sandwich triangles hanging between her teeth before she chewed and swallowed.

"Bubbles now! Daddy! Bubbbbblllllessss"

"Right, Right! Bubbles it is...Finish your food first though, then we will look for the bubble game."

Just as he finished his words, Rafe reacted quickly as the loud noise of an explosion began to echo from the distance. His arms shot out, instinctually, to grab Freya and pull his daughter closer to him as yellow eyes searched out the source. Though distant, it still had his senses ringing in pain and alarm. Freya looked shocked and scared, her eyes looking around as well as her dad looked towards where he could hear the explosion from to watch the rising smoke in alarm. Freya began to tug on Rafe's shirt and after Rafe's protective instincts dimmed minimally, he looked down at her and smiled reassuringly. "It is okay little pup. It was probably someone having an accident, yeah?". Freya blinked owlishly before burying her head back in Rafe's shoulder.

Sighing, Rafe studied the box and noted Freya had eaten nearly all of the box and with her current mood, would not continue to eat till she calmed. Snapping the box closed he put it, and his phone, away before getting himself up from the table. People around the stall were all still looking around in confusion and fear. Rafe himself still kept a cautious gaze on that direction as part on him was curious to what was going on. However, curiousity did not beat out his protectiveness for Freya so Rafe remained where he was, where Freya was safe.

Isolde Aoife "Nox"

The girl remained in her own world and Isolde remained observing the changes in the room with growing caution and concern. Her gaze darted with the shifts in reality and her grip on the girls shoulder loosened. Silently, she cursed magic as every instinct told her to leave now and not look back. An angered hiss passed from snarling lips as she dropped her contact with the girls shoulder and slowly, cautiously stood properly once more. The red and white energy, while she could understand why some would see untamed energy like that beautiful, Isolde hated at this very moment as she found herself taking a few steps back. Each second it was increasing and briefly, Isolde cast her gaze to the child. How did Nox even get a child like this? Normally, they were cautious but it seemed that now, they had grew lax and overly confident.

The shift in the air was dangerous and Isolde's gaze widened as her mind began to twist with suspicions on what was about to occur. The vampire shifted and hurriedly escaped the room of the cell though still, she had no intentions of abandoning the child. Pressing herself up against one of the walls, out of the way of the heavy steel door, Isolde cast her gaze towards the entrance of the cell. Her hand slipped up and curled around her right ear where the multiple earrings rest within her piercings. Two were connected by a thin black steel chain and from the lobe piercing, another chain fell with a similar coloured metal spike charm hung from. The accessory was her charm that allowed her to be in the sun...and if that magic was going to snap and destroy anything, she needed to avoid it being damaged somehow since it was daytime despite the dreary and darkly lit building.

Isolde had moved to curl in on herself but by then, the magic that dangerously lit up the cell, that she observed only minutes ago had exploded and it took down the walls and more with lethal ease. The vampire hissed as the wall behind her survived for a second before slamming into her form as the speed and weight of the bricks pounded against her back. The force threw her forwards and Isolde twist into herself, one free hand still wrapped protectively over her ear while the other over her head to protect her neck and skull. Walls broke down and pieces were sent flying while the ceiling had began to crumble and break a part as any support keeping them up vanished. Debris hit her and she mentally cursed any part of her that decided to help others. A wave of pain caused her body to tremble, bones shaking as another piece, larger this time, landed on top of her.

This was not even the worst of it. The heat that struck out with the explosion was something that even had Isolde, who had grown used to pain, hissing angrily at in an attempt to silence any scream that wanted to pass her lips. It lashed out unforgivingly and began to burn at her flesh, leaving the pale skin to grow red with its exposure to the magical explosion. Open, raw wounds littered her exposed hands, the back of her legs and lower back where the clothing had been torn. Some of the less exposed areas were stained an unhealthy pale red while others seemed considerably worse as the skin was a deeper and darker red indicating that clearly more than the top layers of skin were damaged. For now, Isolde had no way of determining how much of her skin was burnt.

A few minutes passed of the heat and collapsing debris before Isolde dared to open her eyes. Darkness still surrounded her but daylight trickled through the gaps between the debris concealing her. Cautiously, Isolde shifted to test how much space she had, only to freeze up when the movements pulled at the burnt skin and her muscles quickly protested. A troubled, exhausted sigh escaped her lips as she dropped her hand from around her piercings and neck to settle under her despite the accompanying pain. "Well...This is shit." Her voice croaked as she inhaled the air full of dust, the action causing her to cough in alarm to try remove the air from her lungs. Tiredly, her gaze settled on her hands where the deeper burns were visible.

"Wonderful..."

A few minutes passed and Isolde had gotten irritated with her own stillness and finally forced her body to move. One hand remained under her, pushing her up while the other above her to settle on the piece of wall trapping her. Pulling her feel under her she slowly and painfully got herself up and threw the wall with ease from on top of her. Each movement was painful but her healing, a factor vampires had considerably faster than most species, was already beginning to work its way across the collective damage she felt. Her healing In result was using any energy her body had to try fix the burns and any possible fractures, leaving her hunched over and exhausted. Her steely blue gaze had abandoned her and her irises bled red as she felt the familiar burning in her throat and the threat of a haze lingering over her mind...She needed to feed soon to make up for everything she was loosing due to the explosion.

Glancing around cautiously Isolde settled her gaze on where she noted the cell should have been. The girl, who Isolde was still undeniably cautious of, sat there still in her daze but her weakened state was made evidently clear as her frail appearance was exposed to sunlight. Kicking a nearby piece of rubble from the still crumbling walls away from her, Isolde stumbled over towards the child with awkward, pain filled steps. When the vampire finally stumbled next to the girl she quickly studied the broken remains around them, noting most of the building had been thrown away from the girl with the force. Settling herself slowly into a crouch, minding her own injuries, Isolde was face to face with the child, her expression calm despite the wounds and bleeding red gaze. Isolde was far more than simply irritated by this point and decided the girl was either following her out willingly or not. Isolde debated simply using hypnosis on her to get her out...but even Isolde In her ire did not want to use something the Nox had most likely used around the traumatised child.

"Hey, little one? I'm giving you two choices. You can stand up and follow me so we can get out of here...Or I will pick you up and get you out of here. Either way, I am getting you to safety even if you want to willingly co-operate or not."
