Abigal's witch bloodline was passed down on her dad's side of the family, who is of European blood. While she and the rest of her family were aware of their witch family background it was considered, at least by Abigal, to be just a folktale and never really took it seriously, even if her dad found the piece of family history to be exciting. Her mother often humored Phineas wild imagination but she didn't believe it either.
Abigal grew up in a fairly average household, striving in her studies with aspirations to become a marine biologist one day. She always had a deep love and fascination with water and her parents had often said that ever since Abigal could walk she swam, stomping into puddles, gutters, and even making mad dashes towards any larger bodies of water (much to her parents horror at first, when she learned to swim they relaxed some).
