Personality:
Being described by most as reserved and formal, there's more than meets the eye in the case of Neime. The two traits that most people that are close to Neime enjoy is her quick wit and independence. While she possess a strong will and have ambitions of her own, Neime is quite aware of what is acceptable and what isn’t.
She doesn’t like to stand in the spotlight, rather observe from the background and learning before making a move. This might betray her rather cool-headed and calculated approach to most situations but once surprised, Neime can get genuinely upset if things aren’t going as she wants them to go.
Neime further possess a lot of patience and has shown before to be quick of understanding or accepting a situation before moving on.
But she isn’t that perfect. Though disciplined and having faced a rather rigid childhood, Neime can be petty or arrogant at times - though she usually hides this for most.

History:
Neime is born in Kosa, on the 5th of August in the year 461. This was during the Great War, in the period in which the Water Country started to win various key-victories against the Fire country. It was the period in which the people of the Water country were convinced that they could become one of the most powerful nations in the world, further advancing into their enemies lands.
The turn of the tide only happened and crushed any hope for a victory in the name of the Water Country. Neime was too young when the enemy landed and subdued the country, taking Kirigakure as various other key cities on the largest island. Kosa? Kosa was one of the lucky sites where the war didn’t get too close, sparing Neime from witnessing the horrors of the Great up close.

As Neime grew up, she would be raised properly by her parents. Being part of the Hayashi clan meant something. It wasn't back then - nor now - just a name. It was part of Neime and she learned at a young age what it meant. The rigid training, education and raising would seem closer to a military training than what most parents put their children through. Neime never complained much, for she simply didn't know any better.
Reaching the age of nine, Neime was enrolled in a true military training. The kekkei genkei of Scorch surfaced, almost leading up to an incident that caused her father to break his neck and ending his life. With this 'gift', Neime was expected to serve her clan in the military and use it to bring more prestige to the Hayashi name. The training and treatment were harsh and demanding, compared to what most genin go through at the Kirigakure Shinobi Academy. At the age of eleven, Neime was part of a reserve unit of the Hayashi clan, operating in the city of Kosa. There, Neime was usually sent out with others to perform low ranking missions and patrols. Even though she received combat training and had to participate in drills, Neime didn't gain any combat experience until some years later.

When she reached the age of 13, the Shoji occupation took hold of some countries. The numerous soldiers and support of the occupation were present in the Water country as well. It should have put the training of Neime on halt but in secrecy, the girl didn't gain any respite as the training continued in secrecy.
In the year 476, Neime would experience combat personally. The revolution in the Water Country started, being led by a kin of Neime none the less (Hayashi Mika). Neime was together with a unit operating in Kosa. The Hayashi clan didn't join the revolution nor opposed it at first. This was because the revolution seemed aimed at the Fifth Mizukage and there wasn't a sure answer on if the daimyo at the time condemned or supported the revolution. Things would, however, quickly change in the middle of the revolution. The Ina clan committed one of the worst crimes known to man: regicide. They slaughtered the entire family of the daimyo, their guards and servants. None was left alive. Even while the guards were of elite quality, the Ina clan had poisoned the food a night before and attacked in the hour of the wolf - completely surprising the daimyo guards as quickly annihilating them.

This treason wouldn't (and hasn't) be forgiven by the Hayashi clan. Various members of the Daimyo guard were esteemed members of their clan. The cowardice nature of the Ina clan further upset the Hayashi clan. Despite the revolution gaining more support and getting the upper hand, the Hayashi clan joined against the revolution. They acted swiftly and deployed rapidly. Their forces would seek to avoid a large confrontation with the revolutionaries but delivered hard hit and run attacks on whatever they could; camps, supply lines or any light-defended site.
The biggest targets of the Hayashi clan were the Ina clan, however. Most of the efforts of the Hayashi clan's military were aimed to cripple the Ina clan and bring whatever possible pain upon them.
Neime was active in two operations. One of them was nicked as 'Dark Whisper'. An ominous but fitting name for a night raid. Being deployed near the Ina clan lands, Neime's unit moved in and attacked a small fortification. The surprise attack saw none of Neime's unit becoming a casualty of war. Neime got two kills that night.

The second operation was nicked 'Justified Retribution'. The objective of the operation was rather simple. The unit had to ambush and wipe out an Ina clan's unit before it could attempt to reinforce the revolutionaries moving on Kirigakure. Neime's unit managed to catch their enemy's off guard. A dozen enemies were killed within the first wave of projectiles being fired on the enemies. Followed with a quick charge from both sides, the battle seemed to go well in the favour of the Hayashi clan. Until trumpets resonated from their flanks and heralded the charge of mounted enemies. Now caught off guard, half of the Hayashi force was basically sandwiched between Ina footmen and horsemen. Neime was there, facing the horror of having no way out. Desperately she fought together with her kin to break out of the sudden encirclement and managed to beat the Ina enemies back, eventually routing them. Some of her kin and allies weren't so lucky and found their death at the hands of the Ina soldiers. One of them being Neime's older brother

The end of the revolution would cease the Hayashi clan's offensive. As the country would become a republic, the Hayashi clan was forced to submit to the new government.
A short while after the Republic being formed, Neime would be transferred from her unit in Kosa to Kirigaure. She would be tasked by her clan to join the Republican military for two specific objectives.

Kekkei Genkai

Name of Kekkei Genkai: Scorch Release
Description:
A kekkei genkei were the user is capable of moulding fire and wind chakra together to make a new element: scorch. Scorch release is rare among the Hayashi - Neime is one of the six only ever people that has ever had the kekkei genkei surfaced.
The kekkei genkei combines the flexibility of both natures and allows the user to utilise techniques that seem a notch complexer than some wind and fire techniques.

DISCLAIMER:
The RP doesn’t accept unbalanced or overpowered kekkei genkais. Scorch release as I envisioned won’t be as overpowered as the canon showed it to be: it won’t ever just dissolve a person by a mere touch of a small orb. If anything, its power is far downgraded and will have the flexibility of wind nature and the properties of fire nature. Water is the strongest adversary of Scorch release as earth nature can also provide a good shield against most Scorch techniques.

Scorch Release:
Scorch Release: Extremely Steaming Murder! (C ranked: Neime is capable of controlling two small orbs. These can’t go faster than a kunai throw nor pass the reach of 15 meters (40-50 feet). Contact with these balls will introduce quite some pain as they attempt to stick and burn through a target - though very tough or heat-resistant material can form a barrier.)
Scorch Release: Incinerating Flare Technique (C Ranked: Neime is capable of combining her two orbs together to form an orb that is triple the size. The speed which the orb can travel with is three times slower but it can go three times further from Neime. The orb can be ‘detonated’ by Neime, with its blast radius being 5 meters ( 16 feet) - introducing heavy burns on everybody that is hit by it.)

Description: Neime weaves the required handsignals and focuses briefly the attention on one of her orbs. This technique causes the targeted orb to flash very bright within a second, blinding those who are facing towards it. Allowing Neime to either retreat or perhaps creating an opening.
Weakness: The technique consumes an orb. Neime has to create a new one or sacrifice another orb. Targets (as allies and bystanders) will only suffer the effect if they look into the direction of the orb. Looking away or shielding one’s eyes briefly against the flash protects the person from the painful and blinding flash.

Appearance:
Iri’s appearance relies on a lot on where she resides or is sent to work. She tends to dye her hair red from time to time but has dark blond hair as her natural hair colour. She tends to be giving favour to dressing in a way that doesn't seem to make her gain much attention, yet remaining elegant. Her hair is usually tied in a ponytail or knot and reaches a bit past her shoulders.
The colour of her iris are hazel brown.

Personality:
Iri seems at first a gentle, humble and calm person. Not one that seems to enjoy a lot of attention nor eager to receive a lot of flattery either. She tends to give the impression that she is a diligent person as she tends to refuse aid when being busy with something. Some even are impressed with her loyalty, usually shown in siding with her superiors without questioning their decisions. Together with her patience, Iri is hardly ever portrayed as a nuisance or threat to anybody.

However, Iri isn't exactly a saint. She is rather ruthless and somewhat ambitious. Playing usually the long game, she tends to observe the situation and take action with little risk to herself. Her plots tend to revolve into making another person be a proxy, with the believe that they will reap the most out of it. There have been people that seemed to dislike the aftermath Iri left them in but little ever seem to surface well enough to make themselves be heard.

Her hair is usually tied in a ponytail or knot and reaches a bit past her shoulders.

Creating a corps of soldiers that would obey only his command and be willing to die for his approval.

To a certain degree, this project worked. A small percentage would, however, not comply and be disposed of. Another smaller, percentage wouldn't comply but just play along. Iri was one of those few that were clever enough to continue playing this little game.
With the outbreak of the Great War, in the year 460, Iri hadn't yet completed her training. Despite that the conflict hadn't fully engulfed the Lightning country, changes started to take place. Iri would receive more combat-focused training than subterfuge and interrogation training she had received prior.
Much like her peers, this training would continue for two years. At that time, the Great War was reaching its climax and more desperate measures were considered. And eventually taken by the brass.

At the age of 12, Iri would thus be sent from Kumogakure to serve on the front. Due to her capabilities in combat lacking at the time, Iri didn't partake at the frontlines of battle. Instead, she would be sent on tasks as spying and scouting. Like most that lived in those turbulent years, Iri would be subject to losing peers, friends and seeing the horrors of war. Unlike some lucky souls, she would be one of the many that saw the horrors of war close by. By the time that the war ended, Iri reached the age of 14. Her family considered her dead and the future looked bleak, with the only prospect of her returning to be trained further to become a mindless pion for the Third Raikage.

A chance to escape such a fate would, however, be offered.

But this bad experience would also create a chance for her. One to escape the strings of the Third Raikage and move to the court of the Hojo clan. During the war, Iri had managed to save the life of a samurai - alarming him of an ambush that had been set up and thus allowing him to not only survive but decimate the enemy. The man that offered Iri this chance, to accompany him back to the Hojo clan's court, was Mochiaki.
Accepting it, Iri would not become the man's apprentice in learning how to wield the sword. She became a courtier and a guest of the Hojo, learning their tradition and history. Aware though that she had to earn a place without being questioned or seen as a threat, Iri would leak information about the Third Raikage to the Hojo clan. Information that would allow the Hojo clan to pick out infiltrants and spies that worked for the Third Raikage.
Further during her time at the Hojo court, Iri would establish several connections which she would utilize further in her life. At the age of 17, she would leave the Hojo clan's court. Instead of going to Kumogakure, Iri travelled towards Erys. The capital of the Alaricus clan. There she offered her service as a courtier to the Alaricus clan. Offering them much like the Hojo, insight on how the spies and infiltrants of the Third Raikage worked. This allowed her to win a place in the Alaricus court as well as studying further in Erys. Much like her time at the Hojo clan, Iri started to establish various connections and associates that would start to sell her information. Usually, these bits of information would be given for a small fee to the Alaricus clan, leading to the result that crime would start to drop and Alaricus merchants being able to outplay merchants from other clans in and around their region.

For around three years, Iri would continue to serve the Alaricus while establishing a network for herself. Taking her leave, on good terms, once more from a Great Clan, Iri started to head north. This time she would wind up in the city of Okino. A city and the surrounding region governed by the Jun clan.
Not very surprising, Iri continued the same approach. Only this time, she started to gain more ire from the Third Raikage and his associates. Even while she wasn't part of any Great or important clan, her good relation and contact with both the Hojo as Alaricus made it difficult for the Third Raikage to rid himself off Iri. Coupled together with her progress at the Jun clan and her knowledge on how to counter most attempts on her live, Iri managed to stay out of the Third Raikage's reach.

Eventually, Iri decided to head out of Okino. This was the result of an assassination attempt, conducted by an ANBU from the Third Raikage, and almost succeeded. Though making her enemies believe that she would once more travel to the Alaricus, Iri made preparations to head further north.
At Okino, Iri had managed to gain the chance to study some Chonobi. Mastering a part of the language, through determined self-study, Iri would venture to the jarldom of Yngvar - Sanosuke heartlands. Once more did the young woman pick up her habits and provided both her services as information to the jarl of Yngvar. More reluctant than the Hojo and Alaricus, Iri managed to convince that she wasn't a spy.
After completing several tasks, she would win some trust and be allowed to stay in the jarldom. Once more, Iri continued to survive and thrive in this environment for several years. Four years would pass before she decided to move on. Making sure that her work wasn't for nothing, the woman would finally head back to Kumogakure.

Much had changed and by the time that Iri arrived back at Kumogakure, the Fifth Raikage was in power. Instead of serving in the Intelligence Division, Iri would become a member of the Storm Guard. An organisation build and set up by the Fifth Raikage. Even while she worked and supported the Fifth Raikage the last two years, Iri continued to stay in contact with her networks build within the Hojo, Alaricus, Jun and Sanosuke clans. As the Fifth Raikage would be poisoned, Iri's life shifted once more. This time, she would be invited to become the Assistant of the Sixth Raikage.

Iri's protective gear. It is accompanied by a haori (hip- or thigh-length kimono-style jacket) that helps to ward off the cold. In most cases, Iri wears one with sleeves. But she has sleeveless, that she wore during her time as a trainer at the Storm Guards.
The protective gear is quite favoured by Iri for it offers decent protection at several areas - notably the hips and forearms.

Mamoru Senju is a rather tall Shinobi with a slightly muscular build. He has black, medium length spiky hair that reach slightly above his shoulders. Over his forehead, usually hidden under his hair he wears a headband with the Senju clan icon, and the ends of this headband reach to his knees. He has brown eyes and a distinct black mark under his left eye. When not wearing his Taika armor, Mamore is seen wearing ordinary black trousers with a bandage on his right arm, that he uses as a strap for some of his gear together with a light brown sweatshirt and a glove on his left hand. His right hand is entirely covered in bandages due to an incident from his childhood.

When in combat, Mamoru wears ordinary black trousers with the same bandage on his right leg. His legs from his knees downwards are guarded by leg guards hidden under several layers of bandages. He wears an ordinary black west together with arm guards. He also wears his headband higher on his forehead, to prevent his hair from obstructing his vision.


Personality:
Mamoru Senju is a rather simple person. To his friends, family and closest persons, he is an energetic, boisterous. He gets very excited when he meets new people, always seeking the best in them. He believes that everyone is a good person at their core, and only by manipulation and other misfortunes can one become an evil person. Even then, Mamoru would try to reason with them and only resort to fighting when all else failed. He then enters combat with great remorse, but grim determination. Mamoru is not a person to hold grudges, but he remembers. He simply decides to forgive and trust again, rather to write off a person completely. He is determined to overcome any obstacles, a trait stemming from his headstrong nature.

There are, however moments when he is so excited that even the slightest bit of negative information can turn him into a quiet, sulking person. However, he is quick to return back to his energetic, excited self. He liked to spend time with people he cherished, be it whatever activity. His friends and his family are above everything else to him and he will do his best to protect them. When it comes to his teammates and superiors, he shows them nothing but utmost respect and devoutness. The same goes towards his village and the Empire he serves. This stems from Mamoru’s strong belief in the Will Of Fire.

In combat, Mamoru is a completely different person from his usual self. He is calm, focused and determined. Rather than act on his own, he always tries to merge his powers with his comrades, as he believes that a team’s true potential is unlocked via perfect teamwork. He is willing to put himself in danger, if it means saving something precious to him or to create an opening for his comrades. He is willing to push himself to his absolute limits, be it for his comrades or simply for improving himself.

History:
Mamoru was born to the Senju Clan, his bloodline far from the legendary First Hokage or any other notable Senju. His parents were Shinobi as well,Aimi and Noboru Senju. He was born during the leadership of Masaru Senju and thus has a calm youth, shielded from any negative aspects of the life of Shinobi. He learned a lot about the history of both the world and their village and clan from his parents, and he absorbed all the knowledge like a sponge. Up to the age of five, his life was idyllic and calm, until he turned five years old.

Then comes a period of time that Mamoru has absolutely no memory about. His parents, however do remember at least some bits from that period - Mamoru disappeared into thin air and was missing for approximately one year. When the boy returned, his entire right arm was bandaged to the tip of his fingers. The bandage was sealed to his arm, and there was one symbol on it on his palm - the kanji for forest. Every attempt to undo to seal failed. Seeing that Mamoru had no memory of the events, his parents told him he injured his hand while playing outside and decided never to talk about it again. To keep the boy occupied, they decided to train him in the arts of Shinobi.

The boy trained himself in the art of Kenjutsu since he was six years old, gaining decent mastery over it. He tried to train himself in the art of Ninjutsu as well, and just as with Kenjutsu, his parents supported him in his training. Aged eight, Mamoru joined the Ninja Academy and his proper training under the tutelage of instructors started.He displayed that he is capable in Ninjutsu, but needs training - something both his teachers and parents were more than happy to give him. Mamoru spent four years in the Academy and graduated from it without any problems, somewhere in the middle of his class. After his graduation, Mamoru received Oak and Ash as a gift from his parents.

It was around this time that he found an old set of traditional Taika armor and he decided to make it his own. His father helped him, as he had some knowledge about this kind of armor and how to properly take care of it. He started to wear it during his training sessions, and while the weight of the armor initially slowed him down, he grew used to it while he also increased his physical condition with it.

Mamoru did not get assigned to a team after his graduation, but he decided not to ponder upon it. He used most of his time for training and developing his skills in Kenjutsu and Ninjutsu, also learning some basics from Taijutsu. During some training and sparring sessions, he fell victim to Genjutsu and decided that he will develop a way to fight against Genjutsu. This is a difficult endeavour for him, and seeing that he wants to do it on his own, he did not ask for any outside help. As a side effect of this, he grew to resent most Genjutsu as he deems it a dishonorable way of fighting, and in extension even some of the Genjutsu users.

After his Academy Years, he continued to hone his skills during these two years and while never receiving and assignment into a team, he kept his spirits up and his attention focused on training. All his hard work was rewarded when he was assigned under the supervision of Meilin Cho as a new member of Team 4.

Description:
Mamoru's weapon of choice is the set of swords he received from his parents as a gift when he graduated from the Ninja Academy. The Katana was called Oak by the boy, while the Wakizashi received the name Ash. The blades are made from a special, chakra conductive material that makes it Mamoru easier to use some of his techniques. He trained years with his weapons and he grew very fond of them. He takes care of them after every single mission and makes sure they are always in top condition. He wears Oak in a strap attached to his back, while Ash is attached to his waist. He decorated the grips on his blade with the symbol of his clan.

Description:
A set of traditional set of Taika armor that Mamoru found after his graduation, he was immediately inspired by its looks. He approached his father about the armor and the two of them worked together to restore it to its full glory. He is only wearing it when the situation requires it and should the need arise, he can keep it sealed in a scroll and release it as the situation requires it.

The Empire of Akino has their own communicators that have three channels. They were used before, during the time of the Fire Union, by various organisations to amplify their efficiency in field work and communications. In the current Empire, the largest group of users of the communicators is the Regular Shinobi Corps. The communicators come with three channels:

Channel A
This channel is for a team alone. This channel is most used by members (or entire) teams during field operations. Each set of communicators is around four, seeing that the majority of teams are formed by four members.

Channel B
Channel B is restricted for either emergency or use of extern of the team the user is in. It allows communication with other communicator users that can switch to B. This is most often used with code language to prevent potential eavesdroppers from picking up what the relayed messages are about. It is also the channel that is used to send out an emergency message, for others that have their device on Channel B.

Channel C
This channel is only available for Jounins and leaders of teams. Various codes are being used to identify and signal the user of each device and out of set of communicators, only one is capable of switching to Channel C. It is considered to be safe as long as the code protocol isn't breached, which is rare as it would mean that either a team leader has gone rogue or its device has been stolen. Both cases where others would be alarmed when an outdated or wrong use of the code is being given before relaying messages and information.

Weakness:
He needs to form the hand seal in order to perform this technique, thus leaving him exposed for the moment. He needs to be close range for this technique to be viable and any Water Release move can greatly decrease or completely negate any threat stemming from this attack.

Description:
Mamoru focuses chakra in his hands and lets it flow through his blade, surrounding it with a thick layer of rocks. He then uses the blade to deliver an above-head strike with his blade. This attack combines his natural strength and also uses the increased weight to increase the damage of the following attack.
Weakness:
It takes him a few seconds to fully form the coat of rocks on his blade. He needs to be in close range of his enemy to use this technique and any Water Release can negate this technique. The earth crust on his blade lasts only for one strike and it puts increased stress on his blade.

Weakness:
This technique is very taxing in terms of chakra needed, and its strength is proportional to the amount of chakra molded into it. The period of time until this technique takes effect leaves Mamoru completely undefended and exposed. He cannot perform it more than one in its current state during combat.

History:

Being the stubborn boy he is, Mamoru tried to use the Summoning Technique without having a signed contract with any of the species that were able to be summoned. The result was that he summoned a small fox pup, that immediately defended itself and escaped to the oak that happened to be his favorite tree. When his parents inquired about the situation, Mamoru told them the truth and was prepared to face the punishment of their parents. But none came, and they told him that he now had to take care of his situation all by himself.

Without knowing anything about this kind of foxes or how to take care of them, Mamoru sat under the oak for three days, enduring the weather, not closing an eye. He and the fox were often looking at each other with curiosity, as if measuring the other. The young Senju tried to lure down the fox with treats, words, but never with any sort of aggression or threats. This deadlock of the two lasted for three days, and after those, the exhausted boy fell asleep.

When he woke up in the morning, he found the fox calmly sleeping on his chest. His first instinct was to move, but something stopped him. Instead, he remained motionless and fell back to a deep sleep as well. When he woke up later that deal, there was a seal containing names that told him nothing next to him. He looked at the fox he just summoned and did what he felt was right.

Biting his thumb, he signed the contract with a bit of his finger. Sealing it, he somehow knew that his new friend was called Tenkō. Smiling at the fox, he watched as it disappeared in a puff of smoke. Mamoru used to summon him a lot and trained together with the fox, thus forming an unexpected bond that continued to shape both of them in ways none of them expected.

Mamoru spent four years in the Academy and graduated from it without any problems, somewhere in the middle of his class. After his graduation, Mamoru received Oak and Ash as a gift from his parents.

It was around this time that he found an old set of traditional Taika armor and he decided to make it his own. His father helped him, as he had some knowledge about this kind of armor and how to properly take care of it. He started to wear it during his training sessions, and while the weight of the armor initially slowed him down, he grew used to it while he also increased his physical condition with it.

Mamoru did not get assigned to a team after his graduation, but he decided not to ponder upon it. He used most of his time for training and developing his skills in Kenjutsu and Ninjutsu, also learning some basics from Taijutsu. During some training and sparring sessions, he fell victim to Genjutsu and decided that he will develop a way to fight against Genjutsu. This is a difficult endeavour for him, and seeing that he wants to do it on his own, he did not ask for any outside help. As a side effect of this, he grew to resent most Genjutsu as he deems it a dishonorable way of fighting, and in extension even some of the Genjutsu users.

After his Academy Years, he continued to hone his skills during these two years and while never receiving and assignment into a team, he kept his spirits up and his attention focused on training. All his hard work was rewarded when he was assigned under the supervision of Meilin Cho as a new member of Team 4.

Being the stubborn boy he is, Mamoru tried to use the Summoning Technique without having a signed contract with any of the species that were able to be summoned. The result was that he summoned a small fox pup, that immediately defended itself and escaped to the oak that happened to be his favorite tree. When his parents inquired about the situation, Mamoru told them the truth and was prepared to face the punishment of their parents. But none came, and they told him that he now had to take care of his situation all by himself.

Without knowing anything about this kind of foxes or how to take care of them, Mamoru sat under the oak for three days, enduring the weather, not closing an eye. He and the fox were often looking at each other with curiosity, as if measuring the other. The young Senju tried to lure down the fox with treats, words, but never with any sort of aggression or threats. This deadlock of the two lasted for three days, and after those, the exhausted boy fell asleep.

When he woke up in the morning, he found the fox calmly sleeping on his chest. His first instinct was to move, but something stopped him. Instead, he remained motionless and fell back to a deep sleep as well. When he woke up later that deal, there was a seal containing names that told him nothing next to him. He looked at the fox he just summoned and did what he felt was right.

Biting his thumb, he signed the contract with a bit of his finger. Sealing it, he somehow knew that his new friend was called Tenkō. Smiling at the fox, he watched as it disappeared in a puff of smoke. Mamoru used to summon him a lot and trained together with the fox, thus forming an unexpected bond that continued to shape both of them in ways none of them expected.

He has brown eyes and a distinct black mark under his left eye. When not wearing his Taika armor, Mamore is seen wearing ordinary black trousers with a bandage on his right arm, that he uses as a strap for some of his gear together with a light brown sweatshirt and a glove on his left hand. His right hand is entirely covered in bandages due to an incident from his childhood.

When in combat, Mamoru wears ordinary black trousers with the same bandage on his right leg. His legs from his knees downwards are guarded by leg guards hidden under several layers of bandages. He wears an ordinary black west together with arm guards. He also wears his headband higher on his forehead, to prevent his hair from obstructing his vision.


Personality:
Mamoru Senju is a rather simple person. To his friends, family and closest persons, he is an energetic, boisterous. He gets very excited when he meets new people, always seeking the best in them. He believes that everyone is a good person at their core, and only by manipulation and other misfortunes can one become an evil person. Even then, Mamoru would try to reason with them and only resort to fighting when all else failed. He then enters combat with great remorse, but grim determination. Mamoru is not a person to hold grudges, but he remembers. He simply decides to forgive and trust again, rather to write off a person completely. He is determined to overcome any obstacles, a trait stemming from his headstrong nature.

There are, however moments when he is so excited that even the slightest bit of negative information can turn him into a quiet, sulking person. However, he is quick to return back to his energetic, excited self. He liked to spend time with people he cherished, be it whatever activity. His friends and his family are above everything else to him and he will do his best to protect them. Appearance:

Tatsu Taro is gaunt and relatively tired-looking man most of the time, his pale gaze is often shadowed with bags induced by a lack of proper rest and lengthy black hair that seems to be letting some greys show as of late. The way he dresses is somewhat unfamiliar compared to his peers, bearing an air of formality and tidiness in general with the casual openness of his attire sans his gloves, which are worn most of, if not all the time whilst he’s in public.

Personality:

Tatsu tends to be quiet, more so he can put more time into determining the correct words to use in favour of just saying something. When he does talk he attempts to act as a people-pleaser, appealing to the personalities and motives that others may have on their side. He’s rather superstitious in how he pays attention to the words of soothsayers and signs given from a deck of tarot cards he consistently keeps upon his person.


He refuses to drink or take big risks without sufficient knowledge in what the risks entail, and his only real vice in life is smoking, even then he likes to avoid that too much, lest he hits his self-imposed mark as being too dependent on the habit.

Tatsu Taro is gaunt and relatively tired-looking man most of the time, his pale gaze is often shadowed with bags induced by a lack of proper rest and lengthy black hair that seems to be letting some greys show as of late. The way he dresses is somewhat unfamiliar compared to his peers, bearing an air of formality and tidiness in general with the casual openness of his attire sans his gloves, which are worn most of, if not all the time whilst he’s in public.

Personality:

Tatsu tends to be quiet, more so he can put more time into determining the correct words to use in favour of just saying something. When he does talk he attempts to act as a people-pleaser, appealing to the personalities and motives that others may have on their side. He’s rather superstitious in how he pays attention to the words of soothsayers and signs given from a deck of tarot cards he consistently keeps upon his person.


He refuses to drink or take big risks without sufficient knowledge in what the risks entail, and his only real vice in life is smoking, even then he likes to avoid that too much, lest he hits his self-imposed mark as being too dependent on the habit.

Much as the image shows, Karuko isn't the prettiest around. He doesn't do much to change that image either, spending nearly no time or effort to groom himself. The messy look only seems to enhance his grim features more. He is rarely ever spotted without wearing the clothing that is closely associated with the military.

Karuko is known to be the type of person who doesn't seem to have a high tolerance for goofy or any kind of lighthearted behaviour. He is blunt and straight to the point, which is appreciated by some and would be favoured by more if it wasn't usually followed with the sharp cynism of Karuko.
Another aspect of Karuko's 'lovely' attitude is that it seems hard to make the man laugh genuinely about a situation and not as a person. He is considered crude, mean and offensive when he speaks.

The truth is, however, that Karuko is one of the bitter people who have seen their country fall from their place of power, crippled with corruption and incompetence as decadence. This spiral has affected Karuko's personality greatly as he rarely seems willing to put faith or trust into others - fearing that this trust will just get shattered. But still, he has some semblance of hope that he won't be disappointed further.

Whereas some people can claim that they joined the military for all kind of noble reasons, such as wanting to serve their country or because their family has a long history of serving in a military branch, this all doesn't really go for Karuko. Sure, his father served in the navy and did so probably with pride until Karuko's old man met his demise. At that time, Karuko was barely eight years old and his mother worked two jobs in order to bring enough money to feed herself and her only kid.
Things would start to deteriorate, however, as Karuko's mother started to become more stressed and clash with Karuko - who already at a young age had developed a nasty attitude if one has to believe the side of his mother and the neighbourhood. It sure didn't help that Karuko involved himself for some time with a crime gang that ran business around the large port of Kirigakure.

If it wasn't for the discovery that Karuko was capable of moulding chakra - involving various accidents - then it was likely that he would have been thrown out on the streets. This discovery led to Karuko being 'recruited' into the military. His first few years were spend as a Academy student and then followed as a genin. But his rather 'bad' attitude soon turned into that Karuko was pressed into the navy than to continue serving in the shinobi corps. A decision that actually may or may not have saved his life as the Great War started to dawn on the world.
Serving in the naval force first as help on deck, Karuko was soon trained and equipped to be a marine. The experience he has from that turbulent time has reminded him how harsh and brutal the world can be. And how terrifying war can be from up close.

Yet, Karuko did start to make some network of his own as he served in the navy. Gaining the respect of some folks, he was attempting to work his way up to become higher in the ranks. Even becoming more loyal to his own country than just fighting for his own life. This, of course, causing his opinion and standpoint on the foreign powers to be quite 'downgrading' - to put it both mildly and friendly.
More so when the end of the Great War came and Karuko bitterly had to watch his country admit to the demands of their foreign rivals. Despite him and many others willing to continue to fight against the Fire country, even if they had to while Kirigakure would be razed, it would only to more resentment.

Because of the cowardice of the government that was in power during and for a time after the end of the Great War, Karuko decided to resign from the navy. He started to begin a career as a sell-shinobi, hiring his skill as a fighter and some of his shinobi talents as experience for wealth.
A chance was given to Karuko to join back into the shinobi corps during the tenure of the Fifth Mizukage but he resolutely declined. The Suzu clan were one of the factors that the Water country basically lost the Great War. In Karuko's viewpoint, the Fifth Mizukage was a miserable reminder of what her clan had been: a bunch of failures. So when the revolution came, Karuko both watched in amusement and dread. The development that the revolution carried both piqued Karuko's distrust and curiosity. But when he was made another deal to join the shinobi corps to serve as a jounin, Karuko accepted.

After all, some people you better not refuse or cross...

The Suzu clan were one of the factors that the Water country basically lost the Great War. In Karuko's viewpoint, the Fifth Mizukage was a miserable reminder of what her clan had been: a bunch of failures. So when the revolution came, Karuko both watched in amusement and dread. The development that the revolution carried both piqued Karuko's distrust and curiosity. But when he was made another deal to join the shinobi corps to serve as a jounin, Karuko accepted.

After all, some people you better not refuse or cross...

Appearance:
Hikari has the appearance of a teenage girl that is not missing anything. With blonde hair, and a pair of very light brown, bordering yellow eyes, she has a vibrant appearance. She will normally have a couple of side buns above her ears, rolled in a simple manner.

She will normally sport the standard clothing for a shinobi, trying to not stand out, and even when not on missions, she will opt to go for simpler clothing, despite her family’s fortune and prestige.

On her right arm there are a couple of burn marks, both small in size, yet with an identical, circular shape. Both are close enough to the back of her hand that allow them to be exposed partially even if she wears long-sleeved shirts.

Personality:
Hikari can be described as a rather neutral person at first sight. She doesn’t try to stand out, but will perform things as requested. At the same time, however, she will quietly take initiative, if it is allowed, and perform things beyond what is required, often conflicting with her desire to not stand out. On missions, she will do her best to work alongside others, despite not having much experience with this.

When it comes to fighting, she isn’t the most calculating or calm person, but she does try to stay aware of the environment around her the best she can. Due to not having much training with her Tanto, she feels slightly less confident using it in battle, despite trying to take it out as often as she is able to.

While not in missions or in combat, Hikari tends to be a bit more relaxed, but still won’t show it well. She will keep Maintaining a posture fitting for a noble lady and the mindset that she still needs to be doing more things, as idle hands are bad for a lady to have.

History:
Born to Masaki and Kana Torimoto in the middle of the great war, Hikari was raised in what many would consider to be a more luxurious lifestyle. Her father, coming from a noble family in the Water Country, had attempted to make sure Hikari did not need to see any kind of mentions of the war in the last two years, and even after, he made extra efforts to prevent her from seeing anything he considered to be harsh.

When she got to the age of 6, Hikari started showing signs of being capable of using chakra. Scared of what this might entail, her parents were quick to consult Masaki’s parents, who gave Hikari’s father the instruction to let them take over raising her, to ensure she will become a lady and not some war-mongering shinobi. While the couple were briefly hesitant, Hikari’s grandfather, Teiji Torimoto, promised the two she will be the ideal daughter once he is done with raising her.

Being raised in her grandparents estate was nothing short of brutal in Hikari’s memories. She was consistently instructed to follow a very specific set of instructions, and any attempts to divert from them was met with some kind of punishment. Several times she attempted to view or learn something that Teiji did not approve of, which ended up with Hikari receiving a physical punishment. There were two instances in which Hikari was burnt, leaving a mark to ensure she tries to not stray towards topics that Teiji found to be absolutely despicable.

At the age of 10, when her parents came to visit, Teiji welcomed his song and daughter in law as expected, showing them the improvement he had performed with their daughter. Kana, however, saw her daughter’s misery, and after talking to Masaki for two days, ended up convincing him to take over from Teiji with raising their daughter. Furious, Teiji denounced Kana, telling her she was no family to him, and that if Masaki allows Hikari to follow suit, she will be denounced as well. Having made up his mind, Masaki still took Hikari away. Teiji’s denouncement of Hikari was made public not too long after.

Living with her parents again, Hikari’s confidence to explore things had been shaken up. It was further shaken when she learned that her grandmother, Hiromi, had passed away, but she was not allowed to go visit the grave. Kana decided to sit down with Hikari and talk to her about how things were. Not understanding what she had done wrong, Kana told her she was free to explore whatever she desired now, without fear. Hikari decided she wanted to explore the feeling that she felt once before, when she experienced chakra. While reluctant at first, Kana told her she understood and said she’d support her the best she could. Masaki, upon learning of this choice, elected to leave the house and move to live on his own, not willing to bare the thought of his daughter going in the path of a war-monger.

While Kana began working in order to provide for the family, Hikari started looking over some of the village’s shinobi training, hoping to better understand how to utilize chakra by doing so. While she did catch how some of the movement was performed, she realized that without the more basic understanding, she would be unable to actually perform anything.

At the age of 12, she approached the academy, hoping to try and make it into the place, with the support of her mother. While she was accepted, she never made it more than a month in, as the oppression of Shoji over the Shinobi had came into effect. This made Hikari fall into a depression, as once more something influenced her life and prevented her from exploring the path she wished to take. Without much other option, she went and joined her mother in working at a job, helping provide for the household in an attempt to slightly ease her mother’s work. While Hikari could only perform odd jobs, she always felt her mother’s appreciation for doing so.

During the oppression, Teiji Torimoto came by Kana’s house. While her mother wasn’t there, Hikari was surprised to see him come by, and offered him to enter, but he declined, saying he was stopping by only for a moment. He informed her that he heard from Masaki of her chosen path, and while he could not approve of it, as he still did not find it fitting for a noble lady, he knew her grandmother’s family would’ve been proud. Hikari then learned that her grandmother, Hiromi, came from a line of warriors that ended with her, and seemed to try and surface once more through Hikari. He then offered her a tanto, telling his granddaughter it was Hiromi’s prized possession, and to take great care of it. Departing, Hikari looked at it with awe, as though she had just gained motivation to keep trying to go towards her goal, regardless of the limitations placed on her by the oppression. She began training herself with basic strikes, doing so in secret as even though she was not a shinobi, she didn’t want to be caught training with a weapon at these times, but felt as though she had to.

Once Shoji’s oppression had ended, Hikari had went to reenter the academy, and managed to do so successfully. Passing the academy, however, proved to be more of a challenge for her. She had failed to successfully pass the academy two years in a row, finding the Ninjutsu bit to be the hardest. While she was able to mimic the movements properly, she had a hard time understanding the basics behind the movements, what needs to occur behind.

During those years, Hikari also saw the Water Country face an attack from the Six Tails, which brought more anger towards the fifth Mizukage, before the Mizukage faced her own demise. This led to the rise of the Republic, which Hikari felt conflicted about. Her grandfather, who was a nobleman, now was among The Members of Honour, the people who wanted the republic to honor the days of old, while her father, Masaki, chose to stand against his father in The Sons of Kaizoku faction, believing the Republic should increase its power further. Even though she did not have as much interaction with either, she did hear about actions both took in the names of their factions, which only brought more confusion to her mind whenever she thought of it.

At her third attempt, she passed the Academy, and Hikari felt overjoyed. Now all she needed was to wait to be assigned to a team, and keep walking forward in the path she wanted to take.
