Langston university, a place of intelligence, athletics, and artistic genius. Though behind the cookie cutter University, lies Arcane, a secret society for the most elite students. Arcane is a society full of culturally different people, people who don't always get along. In Arcane the people of higher status are basically forced to be in the same system as a much less fortunate person, and that can call for some bad blood to be shed. Though one person's experience with Arcane lead them to be well, sadistic. After months without end, Arcane has been receiving death threats, from a mysterious person called The Raven. No one took the threats seriously, because they just thought it was some hater. Now with one of their head directors being murdered, it is more then just some upset boy or girl, it is someone with a seriously deadly grudge against Arcane and everyone in it.

Langston News Channel 5​

Yesterday the body of missing university student, Ana Grant, had been found at Lunar Lake. Grant was 21, and a Senior at Langston U. It was believed she had gone on a trip, until someone found her belongings in a dumpster behind the coffee house. Police officials have come to the conclusion this was not a accident, but a homicide. Police found a note regarding the murder, on the victims body, marked by a person who calls them self, The Raven. Authorities have issued a city wide curfew, and tells all to be cautious.

~Sign Up and OOC Rules~
1. I am the GM, and my word is final. I may in the future appoint a second GM, and they will have the same power. I make the rules
I enforce the rules, and I do have the power to kick you out. That being said, I will do my best to make fair judgments
in regards to any situation. I am actually pretty nice!
2. Basic rule, I have a character Skeleton for a reason, please use it. It's not fun when I have to look for information that may or may not be there.
3. Please, for this rp, USE REAL PICTURES.
4.Under no circumstances are you allowed to post without a GM accepting your character.
We have to make sure that each character is up to code.
5. Please flesh out the characters, I like seeing that people put effort into their characters, and that they took time to have some formatting and other things.
6. Please be kind to all your other rp friends, we don't want people feeling attacked or threatened by other. It helps create a more cohesive bond between players.
7. There is no character limit, you may have as many as you think you can handle'
8. Please make all your character sheets on the same one, will help stop others from searching through countless pages for your sheet.

~IC Rules~
1. No god moding. Everyone hates it, especially me. We don't have much physical interaction such as fighting in this roleplay, but it can happen, so don't have your character instantly knock someone twice their size out and come out unscathed.
2. This one goes with the first one, no automatic hits. It kind of sucks when someone just hits you in the face over and over and then throws you off the building without you being able to do anything, like a dummy. Don't do it.
3. As this is an OPEN AGE roleplay, so please if something gets to that "stage of romance" fade to black.
4. Cursing. Now, I know some characters are not going to be the sweetest, and some are just going to have a few instances, but I am completely fine with your characters cursing. However, one every single sentence is kind of extreme, so try to avoid putting one in everything.
5. GRAMMAR! Now one of my pet peeves is having people who spell things shorthanded. It doesn't matter to me if there are a few mistakes here
and there, but when I have to spend 5 minutes reading a three sentence paragraph, I don't enjoy it as much. Please refrain from using text talk and please try to use a spell checker if you don't know English very well. There is an exception though, when your Character is actually texting!
6. Likewise, only type in third person. Reason is, first person can confuse people. It makes them get lost in all the I's, since there would be a ton of them. So please, for my sake and the sake of others, use third person. If you have actually read all the rules, please put langston at the bottom of your CS in all caps.
7. Feel free to interact with a NPC or more!
8. YOU CAN NOT BE YOUR OWN PARTNER/LOVER! I hate it when people do this, it sucks to be done, and if you plan on having a drama point based on the fact that two of your characters were together, that's fine as long as as it is now over.
9. Please try to post a paragraph each time. I really detest having a lot of 1 liners, so please try to keep them away. (I understand if you get writers block or something, just tell us real fast so we don't think you're not trying.)
10. Try not to go to far without me posting, I hate feeling left behind.

Being left behind at a young age, Daniel always fears entering a relationship may it be simply friendship or more. He is quiet and a loner, preferring to be by himself rather than stay within a crowd of people. In his mind, temporary enjoyment of friendship was not worth the painful separation that was bound to eventually happen when one tires of the other. Although it does not mean he hasn't tried to make friends in the past or vice versa but having spent most of his time studying, he was quite an awkward person. He's blunt, thinking that a working relationship should be built on honesty but people often mistake it as insensitivity on his part. The same would go with his sarcastic or teasing comments, which, some mistake as arrogance. "People seem to have difficulty recognizing whether I'm sarcastic or serious."

Despite common misconceptions and wrong first impressions, he's a caring person. He's also that guy who understands jokes a little too late, having taken them seriously at first. He doesn't intentionally flaunt his intelligence or skills. Some might say he's humble but to himself, he denies compliments because he believes that there are people who will always be better than him.

Julianna is often mistaken as dense precisely because she does not want to assume anything...even if it's the obvious. Her unassuming self is mostly because she fears being wrong and embarrassed. She doesn't like being overestimated or others having assumptions about her abilities because she fears that she wouldn't be able to act to their standards. She lacks the confidence in herself to think that she could surpass their expectations. Patient is another way to describe her. Or at least, a lot of people think she's patient. Honestly though, she's an impatient person who just keeps her thoughts of annoyance to herself. She rarely talks badly of others knowing that it could lead to pretty awkward and situations that she wouldn't want to be in. "Once you say something, you can't take it back."

She's playful and childish with her sarcastic and teasing comments but she's still considerate and tries her best to choose her words carefully. She's also cheerful, often seen with a smile on her lips but even she has her own troubles, even if she often smiles. She's too shy to tell others of her troubles because she's embarrassed at how trivial they are. She's friendly and often talks about anything that comes to mind when silence reigns. "I really hate awkward silences so I can't help but talking."

Julianna's parents are both successful doctors which is why she had been placed in private school ever since she was old enough to learn. The same went for her older brother who had recently become a doctor. Her brother achieved all of her parent's expectations. He was always the top of his class, an honor student while she was the opposite. She's never been the top of class, always having average grades. Although while her brother's strengths lies with his intellect, her's lies with her athleticism. She pursued her interests and her parents didn't mind since they never had any expectations for her as they did for her brother.

James is a bubbly person, he's always so full of energy with a bright smile on his lips. Well, unless it were mornings or late at night. Laziness would be the best reason for it. He's quite lazy and childish that sometimes, it's difficult to make him do something productive such as exercise or homework. "Cramming is always the way to go." He has a tendency to be forgetful and irresponsible but putting those aside, he has a brilliant and determined mind. He never gives up - even though he pretends that he does - especially if it's to help out. It's often difficult to picture him as someone shy considering that he might be the first to talk when no one does, but he actually does have a less hyper side. He has a terrible habit of bringing himself down due to his own lack of trust towards his skills and himself. He never thinks that he's good enough and could actually be quite sensitive. Insults do plenty to damage his self-esteem even if he tries not to show it.

Charlie is a cocky bastard and he knows this; everyone does, actually. He oozes self-confidence to a level that is borderline 'asshole', but not quite. Being as cocky as he is, he knows that he is a good-looking guy and uses it to his advantage as much as he can. The blond has an arrogant attitude when it comes to others, yet is still likeable all at the same time. People would say that it was because of his charismatic nature since it was hard to ignore. Among his arrogance is a charm and flirtation that he practically applies to anyone who catches his eye for more than a second. Sarcastic, rebellious, and carefree, Charlie doesn't have time for any rules and regulations, people holding him down, or anything that might try to change who he is. Though, behind the whole "bad boy" front, as one would call it, Charlie is a...dork, to put it in the simplest terms. A soft dork at that. Cute, fluffy things are definitely a weak spot for him and, if that doesn't sum up his inner personality, then, I don't know what will. He's the guy who would laugh until he was beet red from a simple, corny joke that's probably been told a hundred times, but he'd still find it hilarious. Thus, he is the King of Dorks, basically.
