The Rabbit and the Snake

(OOC: Question. So is the guy that broke into her house, not your character but the other guy you introduced, is he going to be a reoccuring character? In otherwords, the bad guy?)

She chuckled and climbed out of the car with him, feeling way to ordinary for this kind of place. She looked around her, turing her head this way and that. "I'm surprised you aren't suggesting a stake or burger. I don't eat meat though." She told him, hearing soft classical music playing inside. A red candle sat at each table, as did a matching red serviette (a cloth napkin.).

((Yes he will be reoccurring. I know what a serviette is ^^))

"I had a hunch that you didn't eat meat. Besides, it would kill my night if offered something you didn't want. However, I eat meat. I hope you don't mind," Reita said smiling adorably at her.
He pulled her chair out at her and waited for her to be seated. He was going to enjoy this night. Perhaps he would get to know her and prevent that guy from the lab away from her.

"Thank you." She said. "And no, I don't mind that others eat it, I just choose not to eat it myself." She explained, flushing a little in her cheeks.

"My, you have the most darling face," Reita says, looking at her flushed cheeks.
Reita is scanning the scene rather territorially. He didn't want the person to find them here. He didn't think he could handle another run in with that guy at the moment. That would ruin the perfect date, but of course, Reita saw that the one of the waiters looked... off... Reita sighed. Of all the times... Reita thought to himself. Was it really so much to ask to have a simple date with a pretty girl? Plus she was blonde? They were so rare to find these days!

Her blush deepened at his compliment. "Thank you." She said with a shy smile. "What's wrong?" She asked when he seemed to be troubled by something.

"Nothing, I thought I saw a man looking at you and I was about to let him know that you were with me." Reita said smiling at her.
He could be a little posessive, so technically what he said wasn't a lie at all, but he still kept a close eye on that waiter. After pulling out her chair, Reita seated himself as the waiter he had been keeping an eye on, approached them.

"Good evening, My name is Rick and I'll be your waiter this evening. Can I get you started off with a couple of drinks?"

"I'll take water." Reita said with a rather forced kindness.

She glanced up at the waitor. "I'll take a red wine please." She said, and named the kind she wanted.

The waitor nodded and left to get their drinks.

Reita was not that good at small talk, but he figured he would try his hand at it.
"For the sake of small talk, what are your interests?" He asked.
Reita was sincerely interested in finding out. If he was to keep this woman, he had to her interest and more things about her. If he was lucky, she would go on another date with him.
The waiter brought back their drinks.
"Just call me down when you are ready to order." He said smiling and he walked off.

"My interests? Kind of borring things really." She shrugged. "Read, watch TV, relax from work. The usual." She paused. "What about yours?" She wondered, curious now that he had brought up the subject.

Reita's interests were... perhaps normal for the most part. For his character, it might be a little unexpected. Reita hesistated at first, but he mustered up the courage to at least tell her a few of his interests.
"I like to read gothic tales, watch horror movies, tantalize people, and fight." Reita paused and then added, "And you of course."
Reita smiled watching the waiter. The waiter smirked and then Reita looked at his date's drink. He took the drink nearest her, though it seemed they were both about an equal distance over the two of them. Reita saw the waiter's disappear and turn into a scowl. Reita let out a breath of relief.

She noticed the odd behavior between the two of them but didn't comment on it, not wanting to risk ruining things. She smiled though, when he said one of his interests were her, and she leaned back in her chair and took the drink that Reita didn't. "Can't say I enjoy horror movies." She said, taking a drink of the wine.

Reita smiled when he heard this. He absolutely loved women that were easily frightened for a number of unknown reasons. He smiled as a different waiter than before approached them.
"Hello my name is Daniel. I will be your food specialist this evening. Tonight's vegetarian special is Fingerling Potatoes with Dulse. It consists of twelve fingerling potatoes with cashew cream and your choice of herbs or horse radish. Our second special for tonight is beef wellington. Steak in the center is served medium rare to rare only. Can I get you started with something today? How about you miss?"

((What do you know, working at a restaurant really did come in handy))

"I'll try the vegitarian special." She said, flashing the waitor a smile. She almost laughed at the coincidence, but she didn't. She looked over at Reita as they waited for his order.

"I will have the same as the lady there," Reita says smiling.
The waiter nods and leaves the two alone once again. Reita couldn't stand how worried he was about her. He only ordered the vegetarian just in case her food was poisoned or tainted in some way. He sighed. Why the heck was he so worried? His date wasn't going to die.

She was actually a bit surprised. "I thought you weren't a vegetarian." She commented, taking another drink of wine.

"I'm not." Reita answers simply, "I just wanted to try something different for once."

Reita really didn't want to lie to her first thing, but he didn't want her worrying. That would mean his perfect date would be ruined and he would not be able to be with her. As long as Reita hung around this girl, she would be in danger. He sighed. Could he at least just have this one girl? Just this once?

"Oh." She smiled and a while later their food was brought to them. It smelled quite good and she picked up her fork to start eating.

"I am sorry to disappoint you," Reita almost took a sip of his drink, but then he remembered why he wouldn't drink it in the first place.
He ate his food, eying his surroundings closely. Almost anything was possible was him around and he just wanted this date to run smoothly.
"You're quite the quiet person. Why don't you tell me a little more about yourself. I'm curious to know more." Reita says smiling.
