The morning sun had greeted him through the window of his room. The warm feeling bathing his skin as the rays beamed against his complexion. Stretching, he yawned and sat up slowly, "Another miserable, long day ahead again." He always hated the long hours of being sent outside to the fields to work when it was harvesting season simply because it meant that it would feel like eternity before ever getting a glimpse of her beautiful smile. Standing up, he walked over to the chair that held his cut-off shirt and gripped it into his hard working hands. Stretching once more, he opening the door and stepped into the majestic hallway; if there were any perks to living here, it was having food in your stomach and a roof over your head. He trotted along the hallways and stairs and off to breakfast before starting his day.
She was always the early riser, the sun had kissed her loving complexion as if summoning her to awaken and greet the new day. She ruffled her hair as she stepped out of bed and to the vanity mirror. Smoothing out her sky blue colored nightgown, she took her seat on the stool and brushed out her hair. She always loved her complexion and facial features, they were just right for her figure.
After smoothing out her golden brown hair, she stood and walked to the closet in search for something simple to wear. She never did like much for wearing dresses, it was the one thing she simply disliked being of royalty. Smirking, she changed out of her nightgown and slipped into a pair of jeans and a nicely fit white shirt. There was always something about light colored clothing that brought out her gentle green eyes. Ruffling her hair, she slipped on her shoes and began to walk out to the dining area outside for breakfast after the workers had finished and carried on about their work duties of the day.

He found himself beginning to become tired, his strength wearing low due to the mixture of the sun rays beaming against his flesh and the humidity in the air around them. Looking around the fields that surrounded him, he knew that the break time would soon be nearing. Wiping his forehead from the sweat off with the back of his hand and wiping it against his jeans, he sighed in relief as the break came. He was never the guy to mingle much with anyone, no matter how often it was best to, he liked his peace. Watching the other workers head back to the dining area for food, he headed down to the woods for his favorite spot to relax every chance he had. It was much cooler by the stream in the wooded areas and much more peaceful. Sitting down near the stream, he cupped his hands together and brought a handful of water splashing against his face a couple of times before taking a small drink. He laid back onto the smooth, cool ground beneath him and closed his eyes, enjoying every sound created around him, his thoughts lingering about.
She helped carry out the water and the food for the workers, a smile upon her face as they thanked her. Nodding, she let her eyes scan the area for any sight of him, surely he would be hungry, but he was nowhere to be found. Feeling a bit of disappointment arising inside of her, she ignored it and went about mingling with the workers and bringing them food and water. Her thoughts finding their way back to him, the smile he held on his face that day she played the piano for a small crowd. As she thought back to that day, she felt a smile tug at the corners of her lips and the butterfly-type feelings rise in her stomach and her heart beating a bit faster than normal.
"What could this feeling be?" She thought to herself. There was clearly no way she could ever have feelings or even the slightly interest in him. She knew hardly anything of him other than he was a worker of hers that she nursed back to health. She didn't even know the poor male's name, let alone the reasons he ended up there, or why he had created these feelings inside of her with a simple thought.
