The Other Side Of Insanity

The petals on her head slowly opened again in their normal butterfly shape. Layleina felt no need to stay near arson, the flower was done eating, so she stood up. While dusting herself off her petals got a faint glow around them, a result of a full stomach to avoid attracting unneccesary prey. It could either be convenient or bothersome, it depended on the situation, this time she wasn't so sure wich one it was. For a moment she noticed Aerin getting uncomfortable with the new fire and she felt some kind of pity for the white girl. Not that she would be able to do anything for her.

Spot was talking about getting out of this place and explained about most of the world being dead. That couldn't be possible, dead, it was a word that wasn't allowed in her world or rather it didn't really exist. The fact that he just used that simple word confirmed that this wasn't a dream or a nightmare but the reality. She believed that this world was real even with the doubt, but it being rubbed in your face is a different matter. Layleina glared at spot and was on the point of saying something about it when the roar or whatever it was could be heard. It was terrifying and deafening, it wasn't a sound that she had ever heard before. A sound that meant that she shouldn't be near it. The urge to get away from the sound became soon clear. The petals on her head showed it's thorns and her ankle length dress shortened to just above her knees, preparing her to flee. It was an automatic process that appeared when faced with danger, she couldn't stop it. Her cheeks turned green from emberrasment, this isn't a look for a lady. "Y-yes let's go." She quickly said while walking to the back of the cavern. For a moment she looked back to see if the others followed. "Are you sure that the tunnel is safe? At least safer than here." She calmy with her cheeks still green and looked at spot for a moment to see if he was sure. He seemed reiable but something about him nagged at her.

Toothy beastie? The blood cutterling scream sent shivers down Valgoris' spine only confirming that he was in no mood to attempt fighting but he was sure that running sounded like a good option. He turned to the others and so scared to speak simply followed. He had a lot of questions for Spot but it could wait for them to get safely away from this place. Spot had raised more questions then he had answered such as how could this world be mostly dead? Then on top of that what war was he talking about? Valgoris' head was spinning with questions and no matter how much he tried to focus on the task at hand his mind kept slipping into deep thoughts. He had watched everyone in his clan die just to end up here is some other world being chased by a monster he didn't know. He had nothing but questions to supply the group with and he wasn't sure how well this group could hold up if it were truly placed in a crucible. He was losing hope of surviving this place and he was leaning towards abandoning his own disguise to continue fourth in his much smaller weaker form so it would be easier for him to die.
