It was hard to doze off at first.. His mind was plagued with what was to come in the morning.. If only Aidan was able to freeze time and prevent Alexandria's inevitable death. Although his dreams did not help to settle his anxiety. It was Regina.. She had come back to infest his dream and ensure that he was still aware of his purpose. Over and over again, he watched himself pull an innocent Alexandria's heart and crush it in his hand. No matter how hard he tried to wake up, Regina was intent on making sure he knew what he had to do.
However, he awoke to a sudden disruptive movement. Slowly, Aidan opened his eyes and sat u[, confused as to what had happened. He took a couple of seconds to gather himself before examining the room. His eyes landed on a frightened Alexandria, who looked as if she had seen a ghost. Without a thought, he collapsed back on the bed. "Nightmare?" he questioned, sleep still evident in his voice. Aidan felt strangely cold, and he attempted to wrap himself further in the covers.
He didn't want to get up, and he was in no rush too. "Get up! You have business to take care of!" The voice scared him awake, and he jolted up with a start. For a moment, he had forgotten all about the curse, the murder, and Regina. He scanned the room once again, trying to convince himself that yesterday hadn't happened. "H-how did you sleep?" Aidan asked, a certain amount of nervousness seeping into his voice.
