If you want your char in Port Syren, you should probably know the lore girlabot and I wrote on it. Your best bet is to actually have her in a town near the mountains so her trek isn't too hard. In fact, if she met Mauras, I can actually see him taking her out to his dragon and flying her to the mountains.

THIS CAN ACTUALLY GO FOR MOST EVERYONE~

If your characters meet Mauras on their journey, Xanras probably carried them. We'll say for those chars that are used to travelling and walking around a lot, they met Aki and were given a choice to walk or be flown. Xaria, however, would only be able to carry one at a time, while Xanras can carry a max of four (on top of his rider).

FOR YOUR CHAR:

THERE ARE NO GUNS ON PARTHEUS. I probably should have made this clear from the beginning, which is a serious my bad. BUT, no technology is capable of working on Partheus, and black powder is only found in Fortuna beneath the Exploding Mountains. None have survived the trek in, much less come out with anything.

Your best bet is to have her trained in some sort of pole arm.

FOR YOUR MAGIC: Be sure to clarify the things she can do now and the things she'll be able to do as she goes along. NO CHARACTER HAS MAGIC RIGHT NOW UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED. (sorry, I'm in an all caps fest....nothing personal) If you want your char to have magic, give me reasons why. So far, the only two chars who will be starting off with any sort of magic ability (except things like minor healing and things that come naturally to a char that did not live anywhere near Gareth) are mine and Soul's, who have an affinity for the Elements Fire and Life respectively (THIS GOES FOR EVERYONE - NO MORE HEALING ABILITIES. SHEESH. Leave the healing up to the Emerald, who already has an affinity for Life and Earth (typically one or the other)) LOVE THE SAND MANIPULATION, THOUGH! So awesome!

Horsemanship? Another thing I must have left out. HORSES ARE RARE ON PARTHEUS, like a seriously rare entity that only the richest humans would have. ALSO, CATS ARE A MYTH TO HUMANS! No such thing as cats. NOPE, NO CATS!

I really, really love the work you've put into your character, and I hope these set backs won't deter you. AWESOME WORK!

Weapons have no magical properties, as they are not living creatures. Only those well-versed in the use of Aura Magic (which no new char is as of right now) can use magic on or around weapons unless otherwise stated. Of course, we can always work something out, but just don't focus so much on the magic right now. Instead, focus on other skills, history, and the dragon.


@Silver

The Ammolite Dragon can only RAISE their body temperature. They cannot cool themselves without the use of their breath weapon. She won't be able to cool herself down, but like her dragon, she should be able to heat herself up.

Also, Ammolites cannot call on storms, but they do MAKE storms. I think it would be awesome if your char could produce heat friction and strike with lightning or even create puffy clouds that turn into, like, TORNADOS or something like that. XD

NOTE: Kalidyrre is the Council of the Gods, so there's no need to call it the Kalidyrre Council...that's like saying the Council Council of the Gods. XDXD
I LOVE her history, and I get the feeling she'll connect very well with Aki.

Soul and I are both playing male chars with female dragons, so feel free to hop on the train. XD BUT let's see what happens as more people make their chars. <3

What would be considered a skill in the rp? Would it be something like (Sword Rain: Alpha) from the Tales of Series or like (Sword Mastery) as in D & D.

Personality:

Kind, Patient, Protective, Soothing, Strong
Hearth has a kind heart. If he sees someone in need whether it be a child crying, an animal injured, or a man getting mugged, he'll always do his best to help.

Hes very patient, even if a kid is screaming in his ear, it would take a lot more to tick Hearth off.

He is extremely protective of his comrades and those in need, he'll put himself in harms way without blinking to protect what he loves.

Hearth has an almost constant soothing presence. Because of this hes good at calming down escalating situations that would otherwise lead to violence. Its also good for anxiety/fear.

Hearth is strong both in body and mind, his will is not easily broken. Some call him the "Crimson Hardhead" for it. Though hes not as physically strong as some, he makes up for it in agility and speed.

Skills & Abilities:

Sonic Arrow - By emitting rapid vibrations from the tip of his arrow it becomes nearly impossible to stop and can penetrate anything short of magically enhanced armor.

Siren Song - By infusing magic with his voice, when Hearth sings he can either put others to sleep around him for a certain amount of time. Or he can lift their spirits, causing all weariness and pain to fade for a certain amount of time. They have to be within hearing range though.

Master Archer - Whether it be hunting or guarding, Hearth's skill with a bow is more than exceptional. Though he can shoot from a running horse with near perfect accuracy, a Dragon might be a bit different.

Skilled Hand-to-Hand - Hearth can hold his own in hand to hand combat even despite his physical strength. Hes skilled at swiftly disarming his opponents.

Experienced Tracker - Hunting for food and hide since he was a kid has given Hearth the instincts and knowledge of an excellent tracker.

Bilingual - Having lived and traveled through so many places all his life. Hearth has learned many different dialects and languages.

Tricks of the Trade - Well...Hes a merchant's son, its in his blood.

Brief History:
Hearth was born in Pavire. His parents were wandering merchants so his family never stayed at one place for more than a month. This let Hearth experience many different varieties of people and cultures as he grew up. The young boy enjoyed learning from each new place and exploring the unknown. But he also hated never having a real home or friends for more than a few weeks, it got pretty lonely.

As he grew, so did his interest in the mysteries of the world. Always a sucker for fables and old tales, Hearth soon had a yearning to seek out the legends of these stories. One of which was Dragon's, he knew they were real, but after they disappeared, it was almost like they ceased to exist.

His parents warned him about his daydreaming, they warned him against seeking dangerous dragons, they called him a silly heart for believing in objects long lost to the past. But no matter what they said, it didn't still Hearth's heart for adventure. In his adolescence Hearth began to train himself in Archery after finding a beautiful bow in a Garth shop one day. The redhead found he had great talent for the weapon, so he trained every day to master the art.

In his teens he began doing side shows with his parents caravan. They were quite popular as it showed him proving his skill with the bow by executing dangerous and difficult stunts. Such as shooting an arrow through an apple inside an assistant's mouth. Soon after Hearth began earning titles like "Bullseye" and "Blazing Arrow".

When he turned 18 Hearth decided to set off on his own. He had an offer from a famous hunter to join the man, along with a few others, on a hunt for a rare beast. In his arrogance Hearth took the offer with pride. But as he came face to face with the "beast" his body froze. It wasn't the Chimera that stilled his bow. But what the large animal was protecting. Barely reaching his knee, the baby Chimera huddled in the corner, scared to death. With a change of heart, Hearth refused to kill the mother and child, that didn't stop the others. But it did earn him a new title "Coward".

Upon his return Hearth found his caravan had been ambushed in his absence and his parents murdered. Disgusted with himself Hearth went into a kind od hiding. He quit doing shows and refused any hunting jobs. Since then he has been wandering from place to place, taking the occasional escort or guard job.

All dragons will have telepathy, so don't worry about making that an ability.

His Hyper-Awareness would be called Farseeking, which is another ability of dragons and, later, riders. Both of these skills take time and effort to develop, much like building muscle.
I don't mean to take your abilities away, but your dragon gets those by default, so you can make new ones. ^^

OH, and because he's albino, you should make his flame white. XD THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. XDXDXD

But if he is albino, he would be a bit more fragile, as his scales would remain a little more brittle than normal. Albino dragons generally don't even make it past their first few months in a Family setting because of how weak they are compared to normal siblings.

Other than that, though...you look good. I likes it. ^^

An ability would be particular weapon skills and training, special moves with said weapons, and of course the two unique magical abilities that will come later in the RP.

First, where's your dragon? Or are you still working on it?

NOW, on to the hard part.

HERE'S where my problems lie.

  1. Strength and speed (when it comes to body) is not a personality trait and should instead be put in his strengths.
  2. HORSE - no. I already stated in my last post that horses are rare and only seen beneath the super rich families.
  3. He is NOT a master archer. It takes a lot longer than the few years he had been training...I mean at most, he's been training for 10 years, right? No way he's a master.
  4. Wait, I though he wasn't skilled in Melee....oh, melee weapons...but he can still do hand-to-hand. No, I don't think he should be THAT good.
  5. Despite the fact that your character's personality doesn't condone hunting, he hunts for animals and kills them? WHAT ABOUT THE BABIES?!
  6. Is his Sonic Arrow magical?? I don't get it.
  7. If you could, explain your strengths and weaknesses. Give me sentences, not just a couple of words. While we're on the subject, your character is over-powerful. Balance him out with a couple more weaknesses, or make his weaknesses a little more significant. PLAY ON HIS PERSONALITY. Especially since he's going to go to war...>.>
  8. Uhm...about the dragons...when did he talk about them? And why did it not make his parents shake in their boots? THE TARJAN ARMY KNOWS ALL, MWAHAHAHAHA. No, I'm kidding...he could have spoken between towns, but keep in mind that he would have been told it could get him killed.
Okay, I think that's it. Just keep in mind that weaknesses in every character are going to be played on, and you'll be expected to remain true to char. He can't all of a sudden become a badass. Also, sorry it's a bit out of order...I wrote my notes as I saw the problems.

So abilities are in essences, special attacks with the weapons/items the person is adept with. Am I reading that correctly? Cuz if I am, I'm more then ready to get skills going in.
 
@Mowkie ah I see, I put guns as her abilities because her appearance has gun on her right side >.< so please just pretend she has no guns on her clothes :3 I will pick another long ranged weapon~

For magic, it will be revealed later, don't worry, I just forget to clarify this. Ah about the enhanced vision, is it okay if I have that? For later of course, not now.

And for first aid, she can't heal of course, just to tend her wounds when needed, I think it's a basic knowledge for a guard, is that okay? That's not part of healing right?

I will edit her later, please give me some feedback again :3

YES, plus two MAGICAL abilities that will come into play after he makes the Pact with his dragon. Those abilities will probably have something to do with the dragon, but don't necessarily have to be.

The Image has no effect on the char, so in that instance, you're good. ^^

Could you at least let me know what these abilities are? I want to clear them before accepting the character. As for the vision, it's fine as long as it starts coming in only after she makes it to the island and begins training. Especially with the ability your dragon has with being able to mesh its sight with hers.

Yes, first aid is fine. I was just noticing everyone had some sort of first aid ability.

Well...minor healing, yes. You can have that as a magical ability...say that a Dalin taught him within the confines of the town's haven. Major healing, I'd prefer not. My character, Theolyn, who is still in development (lots of RT seems to be getting in the way this week), will be chosen by the Element of Life, so he'll be able to heal almost anything with some training and bonding with the Element. Of course, starting out, it'll only be tiny cuts and bruises (plus making flowers bloom XD). If everyone has healing, Theolyn pretty much becomes obsolete.

@Mowkie Those magic that I mentioned are her future unique skill, seems like my words cause confusion, so sorry! She will learn sand manipulation and enhanced vision along her journey. She will stick with no magic abilites for starter :3
 
@Mowkie ok, fixed the bit about the scales and added kickass white albino flames. :) I'm still a little uncertain about Cass's abilities, though, and I may need some advice. Expect a PM in the next few minutes!
