Archivists
Archivists are a group of renegade Exiles who are the masters of the Archive.
The Archivists defected from the Machines and sell out the services of the Archive to anyone, maintaining a strictly neutral position in the cold war following the Truce. However, when it comes to the protection of the Archive and its secrets, the Archivists enact a paranoid and fierce agenda.
Hidden across the Matrix are pockets of history salvaged by the Archivist's Society. These constructs are remnants of various points in time within the Matrix. Access is restricted to only those who have acquired a key.
Each construct is home to various exiled programs as well as a head exile. Typically these exiles possessed unique items not available in the Matrix.
Shapers
a group of generally neutral programs that were able to manipulate code. They were even able to manipulate Neo's RSI fragments into the shape of Neo's mental projection.
Exiled Agents
Sub types
Valkyrja were originally an early result of the Machines' experiments, to create a revolutionary type of Agent. Based on valkeries
Zion
Zion is one of the last human cities on earth, hidden deep underground and is chiefly concerned with protecting its citizens from the machines who see those who have awakened as a threat to those still connected to the matrix. Those who choose to work for Zion usually enlist in the Zion military and see this as the best way to protect their ideals of freedom.
Sub organizations
IO
Machinists arose after the Truce was established between Neo and the Machines. These awakened human operatives believe that peace lies in working together with the Machines instead of against them. As a result, they often clashed with their Zion counterparts in favor of the Machines.
