In friendships and with family I let people know I love them by making jokes at/about them, picking up their calls when I don't wanna, and lots of inside jokes. Also, telling them I actually love them never hurts. I'd go to great lengths for my friends, and aside from the joking, I always make sure they know it.
In my romantic relationship it's cuddling, joking and poking fun, cooking dinner, taking care of my love when she's had a stressful day. Regular things, I suppose.
I feel loved simply by having food either prepared or bought for me. Yes, yes. This is the way into my heart for sure and the secret to maintaining my interest. Also, watching movies with me. There are a lot of movies I've gotten @saberwolf to watch that she had no interest in, and it definitely strengthened our bond. I find very few things more enjoyable than when we order food and sit on the couch and watch a new movie together. No idea why I enjoy that so much. :D
