The man with the cigarette

The man with his cigarette
He waits by the sea
He doesn't wander aimlessly
He doesn't go look himself
The man with the cigarette
He only waits by the sea.

He waits for his lifes end
While enjoying a guilty pleasure.
The ordinary fortunes and
Misfortunes have all visited him
In his leisurely waiting.
The emotions he carries
Are like stones on his back
Slung over his shoulder.

The man with his cigarette
He waits by the sea
He waits for an answer
He waits for the return of his love
He truly waits for himself.

I was suddenly inspired and just wanted to try writing something.
I hope it didn't suck eggs or sound too typical. ^^;
