This thread is for storing data for all characters. While previously we were using the recruitment thread, I have decided it is more appropriate to having a dedicated thread. This thread will also be used for keeping a track of any new weapons, gear, equipment, skills, abiliies, vehicles, and so on that your characters will acquire throughout the roleplay.


Character Sheet Requirements

Height: (For sanity's sake, the maximum height is 12 and a half feet)

Species: (You are not obliged to choose a species in the races list in the Lore Repository. You may make your own if you wish but do consult me. If you do use your own, please give a short rundown of it if possible. If you are using a robotic character as opposed to a cyborg, you do not need to do that.)

Faction Alignment: (You *must* choose between the Carnazir, ASR, or PCL)

Skills, strengths, proficiencies: (What are they especially good at? Don't pick *too* many. Include any species-related perks as well from the Lore Repository)

Ethereology: (What ethereal abilities both active and passive do they have IF they have them? You are allowed two starting out and can acquire more as time passes.)

(Initially you get to carry a maximum of three main ranged weapons, two secondaries, and either two smaller melee weapons or one medium and one small. For miscellaneous gear and equipment there are less restrictions but be reasonable. Include any augmentations whether cybernetic, ethereal, biological or otherwise. You can acquire more carrying capacity as the RP progresses.)

Name: Crimson Vizla

Age: 26

Faction alignment: Carnazir

Species: Voidhanger
Voidhangers naturally have a weak immune system due to living in hyper sterile environments and are usually confined to special suits. They’re heavily effected by ether so real space bacteria effects them more then conventional organisms.

Appearance: Picture attached at bottom of sheet.
Robotic like hood that stays up.
Bullet proof glass visor that covers her face.
Black hair that hands down to her breast.
Her environmental suit has been heavily modified almost making her look like a machine.
She as a six foot long tail that’s bolted into the base of her spine.
Her arms are fully robotic.

Skills and proficiencies:
Voidhangers perks.
Moderate marksman: she carry’s two heavy blaster pistols and a LMG. She can hit her target with pistols eight out of ten shots. And six out of ten on the LMG.
Expert sword fighter: Crimson is considered a expert in sword fighting. This comes to her increased strength and the fact that she can use her tail to wrap around objects and strike from her opponents blind spots.


Personality:

Cold: Crimson is cold person not showing much friendliness to anyone.

Heartless: Crimson does not care about anyone but herself and will sacrifice others to survive.

Loner: Crimson would prefer to work alone after being exiled from her own people in order to avoid it again.

Does what she must to survive: Even though she prefers to work alone she will work with groups if needed.

Solider: Crimson does what she’s told to do she’s not a leader she’s a solider and enforcer.

Loyal to none: Loyalty is not something Crimson has. She goes with whoever pays her more. Or she may join groups that she believes will win.

Bio: Crimson is a Voidhanger But was exiled from the fleet after she was determined too Robotic like due to the cybernetics that she applied to her own body. She wandered the galaxy afterwards drifting from one place to another taking whatever job she could. Falling in with many groups pirates, Mercenaries, thugs and similar groups. She did well as a Mercenary doing whatever she was told. She made good money doing her job while looting dead bodies for anything valuable she could later sale. Her hacking skills allow her to also sell information easily as well one time working as a information broker.

Ethereology: None

Strengths:
Increased strength: Due to her fully cybernetic arms she has more physical strength then most creatures she runs into. She can easily life 400 pounds and carry it around for up to 30 minutes.
Master hacker: Crimsons tail can hook up to any electronic and can merge her mind with the electronic allowing her to hack it with her mind alone. But when she’s connected she is completely immobile.
Tail canon: Crimsons tail can release a powerful shot of energy that has a fairly long range but takes a little bit of time to charge a full 30 second to get to full power. When charging Crimson try’s to dig her hands into the ground before firing as the shot had the potential to push her back.
Torture expert: Her tail comes equipped with small metal needles which she uses to insert under a mans finger nails and tear them off. She had a small blade to insert under someone’s knee caps and pry them out of place. It also has a small drill which she uses to drill small holes into skin.

Weakness:
Tail hacking: While hacking with her tail she is completely immobile. And since her mind is hacking she can not see or hear to world outside meaning she needs to be protected and cannot react to attacks.
Tail canon: It takes 30 seconds to fully charge but can release smaller blasts after 5 seconds. Crimsons more powerful blasts has a chance to blow her back.
Weak body: Crimson has a weak immune system. And any ruptures to her suit could almost be fatal. Diseases and infections are incredibly dangerous to Crimsons weak immune system.
Bullet proof glass mask: If her mask is broken the glass has a chance to cut her skin. And force her to breath on unclean air also exposing her to possible germs that can wreak havoc on her immune system. In the event of a suit rupture or tear it can seal it off similar to a ship sealing off a part in the event of a hull breach.

Skills and proficiencies: Yuri is highly skilled in stealth and hand to hand combat. His many years of service insure he is a proficient marksman but is nowhere near the greatest. He has numerous reconnaissance skills courtesy of his specialized training such as tracking, navigation, and intel gathering (which includes interrogation tactics). While he does have much greater combat prowess than normal soldiers, his greatest skill lies in his stealth abilities, utilizing them to assassinate targets, steal enemy intel, and sabotaging enemy infrastructure. In essence, his job is to weaken the enemy and cause chaos so that the PCL can have a better fighting chance.

Personality and Background: since a young age, Yuri has aspired to be a soldier of the PCL. Such ideology stemmed from his father, Aleksandr Ivanov, known by his iconic nickname, “Commando Ivan” . A legendary soldier in the PCL renowned for his countless achievements during his military career. It was said that Aleksandr completely destroyed his enemies from the inside out. Damaging their infrastructure and causing so much chaos behind enemy lines to such a degree, that by the time the allied forces arrived, the enemy was a disjointed mess of false intel, leaderless soldiers, and dead officers. Naturally, Yuri looked up to his father as the “perfect soldier” and would strive to become like him when starting his own military career. When Yuri joined PCL forces at the age of eighteen, he had to deal with the massive expectations placed upon his shoulders that came with being the son of a highly idolized military figure. And although things started out slow, he began to show much promise in his training, having a natural affinity for stealth and close quarters combat. For five years he served as a recon infantryman on the frontlines before being accepted for specialized training. The very same training his father had received. Whether or not he was accepted simply because he was the son of Commando Ivan, or because of his own achievements is a mystery. Finally, After two years of training Yuri was officially inducted into the special forces, and from then on he would serve as a valuable asset to the League. Going on countless missions and gaining experience to become more efficient. Eventually, after three years of service. Yuri was promoted to master sergeant and would take on even more high profile missions. Whether it be assassinating an enemy lieutenant, or destroying a rebellion on Apollo Prime. Yuri was nothing but a ghost in the eyes of his enemies.

Ethereology: He utilizes Ether to sense danger before it happens. While it is effective in anticipating how an enemy will attack. Too many dangers at once will make the ability null. For example, he can dodge a few bullets because he knew where they would go. But if he’s surrounded by gunfire or is being shot at with automatic or sustained gunfire, he’ll be shredded before he can say “Блядь”. This ability only works in a fifty meter radius. It works by having "tendrils" extend from his void-signature that sink into the "liminal space" between realspace and abzu. They serve as hyper-sensitive feelers or antennae that pick up dangerous phenomenon before they can immediately impact him.

Strengths: Stealth, espionage, spying.

Weaknesses:

•while Yuri is highly skilled, his combat skills are weaker than other highly trained soldiers due to his specialty in sneaking around rather than fighting head on.

•As Yuri got older, he become more independent and thus sought to escape his father’s shadow. Therefore he hates being compared to his father and is insecure when talking about his family.

•Yuri‘s armor offers adequate protection, but is more suited for small caliber weapons. Because of this he has less protection than other professionals and can easily get shredded by more powerful weapons.

•Yuri can be impulsive, and can sometimes do things that threaten the lives of other soldiers. Whether it be killing an officer not related to the mission. Or infiltrating the enemy on a whim despite how heavily guarded the enemy base is.

The T-X4 is a small caliber pistol intended for for killing unarmored and unaware foes. It’s known for producing very little sound when fired, perfect for killing someone undetected.

His S-4 rail rifle is used to kill targets at a distance, it’s strong enough to pop an exposed head like a pimple.

Skills and proficiencies: Full-blown cosmetics surgery for himself and others, Expert martial artist, Advanced knowledge of herbalism and pharmaceuticals (meaning-making pills and drugs to put people into sleep and more) Stealth and. Intermediate in gun user Advanced in Poisons Intermediate defense spell caster Sleight of hand, gymnastics, ventriloquist, and mimicry Human Perks

Personality: Hidalgo is a pretty easy going guy and a fair guy to a point, but he will not tolerate, unneeded bloodshed or inflicting pain on innocents even more so if it's someone his team doesn't heed his second warning there's a fair chance they will get the fight of their life or he'll try and kill them. He knows he's a killer deep down so doesn't pretend he's a hero and such but it's better to be a killer with rules and a conscious than just a merciless killer or mindless beast.
He's not one to open up to others very often given the life that he's had so far, he does have a small circle of friends but they use code names for each other when they do meet when they can because he and his understand just how fragile life can be in these times. He loves his little sister but he does his best not come over a too intense and bossy, because of this they get on like a house on fire. Very rational and Reasonable can think on his feet in combat or in general, willing do whatever it takes to help those he cares about.
He's a little bit of a worry-wort when it comes to his sister but does his best not to show it when he is able to hold back. Does take kindly to his work being fucked with regardless of if it's an ally, also depending on how much is work is fucked with will determine what he does, for instance, he may break their arms or and legs. He won't hesitate to kill one of his own if it keeps his cover or other extreme situations. People that think they know it and have everything in the bag annoy him to no ends but it's sometimes easier to let them think that way so he can gain the upper hand, he is very observant and will keep all in mind for future encounters.

He never underestimates his targets and does his best to be as prepared as possible so he doesn't get caught with his pants down. He's also the type to know when there's no way of winning or drawing, but above else, he knows not to overuse his powers because he understands what will happen to him and how hard it is to come back from that place because he's seen it plenty of times in others.

Ethereology: Shadow step allows him to move quickly and "through" certain obstacles depending on the density.Sixth sense like a spidey sense that he can feel foes in a three-sixty dome radius. Shadow Limbs

Strengths: three times stronger and faster, and has a much higher pain threshold than your normal human, Learns new skills very quickly and can adapt to many environments doesn't need and much sleep as others, and is a light sleeper most times so it's hard to sneak up on him.

Weaknesses: When manifesting his shadow arms drops his radiation resistance drops from a hundred to 65 instantly, till he goes back to normal even then it takes time.
When he uses shadow step some enemies will actually be able to detect him very easily when he does due to the ether discharge from doing so, in addition to this ability he can not go through energy fields or rune-cursed barriers. Shadow Limbs only allows him to grow two extra arms or legs
While he has a sixth sense this does not make him invincible or all-seeing and if he's not careful and unlucky enough an enemy can pick him off from the distance unless he sees them first.
He can get very angry at times and this stops him from focusing when he should be on the battlefield and this might be the end of him one day.
He doesn't have the best reputation given his past so some of the ASR are wary of him, while others are hostile.

Starting Weaponry, Armour, and Equipment (MG/SG with higher ap rounds because of they are energy projectiles).
(Granade launcher 2x acid pellets 2x Cryo pellets x1 Sleep X2 concussion X2 flash bang type X2 shrapnel type and x 2 Fire). Jet pack

X1 sleep left because he used it on the building


Emp gun is a short-ranged and depending on the level it's set at it can fry electronic security barrier and things of that nature or a large sentinel at max if the armor is cracked or it hits its weak spot.
Energy shield medium-sized Backpack with medical supplies medium power armor. Jet pack.

X2 space machetes, Darts marked by colour and that bard and inject poison, purple, red for explosive charged darts, the explosive charge is not overly powerful but enough to hurt a fair bit.

3x Spike nads and 1x Sararhatan Combat Axe Some medic kits

Sleeping darts coloured brown. ASR handgun with night mode heat mode and light attached etc. Cybernetic right eye with zoom and night and heat vision and being able to id teammates with a scanner for IFF Tagging friendlies. The range is short and needs improving when he can finds the part or get it done somewhere in a town.

History: Hidalgo was a PCL soldier who performed well enough in combat that PCL intelligence recruited him and he proved to be a very talented recruit in a number of high profile missions. However, he would come across classified information beyond his paygrade and certifications. PCL intelligence attempted to covertly assassinate him multiple times but he evaded and outwitted them, taking his sister with him as he went on the run. He underwent various cybernetic and biological modifications to become completely unrecognizable from his old self.
He would support his own living and his sister's with low-key freelance work but they were barely getting by. He and his sister managed to relocate to ASR held territory and he offered his skills as as contractor to train ASR troops and during this time he also joined advanced combat medic program under ASR. However, the ASR intelligence found out about his past and his sister. They made it clear that he was a possible liability but offered a deal; fight for them as their own operative, letting them in on important PCL information, and they would protect his sister and make sure both lived very comfortably.

Name: Major Rho-Hux. The Constrictor of Caddadast.

Age: Physically 36. Actual known age is classified.

Race: Gealtirocht mutant.

Height: 8 ft

Faction Alignment: PCL

Species Perks: Wraithgaze, Life-Pulse Hunger, Coils of the Abyssic Anguilid (but does everything in his power to hold it back as giant eldritch eels are for heathens).

Physical Appearance: Wears silver armor that he tries to always keep clean. When not in combat he wears a deep blue cape and major’s cap.

Voice: Sean Connery imitating the TF2 heavy weapons guy.

Skills and proficiencies: 4 arms, each one can wield a pistol. A cyborg eye acts like a built-in search engine, he can look up information for anything he examines with that eye. Useful when dealing with unfamiliar technology. Useless when dealing with new technology, not in its databanks.

Personality and Background:

Found frozen in a lab on a former ASR world, Rho-Hux was an attempt to produce a Gealtirocht super-soldier. Records show that he and elven other Gealtirocht eggs were to be the first to go through this new experiment. Out of the dozen initial prototypes, he was one of only 3 to hatch. Out of the 3, he was the only one to survive past early infancy. He was brought up to be an efficient soldier until he was eventually put into cryostasis to be examined for future experiments. Unfortunately for his creators, the planet he was on fell into PCL hands before they could recover him. After intensive “reeducation” Rho-Hux is now a loyal soldier for the PCL and seeks to wipe out all who stand against them.

Rho-Hux has devoted his existence to being a soldier. When given a mission he will spend hours researching his foes, the landscape, similar battles, and equipment that may be used on both sides. Once he became a Major, he excepted all those under his leadership to be up to par with the latest military information. Rho-Hux has a short temper but he hides it well with his cold, sly, grizzled voice. He can even act polite towards enemies if it might lead to a swifter victory. He even has respect for skilled fighters on opposing factions. However, when things don’t go Rho-Hux’s way he is ruthless and merciless.

His most famous mission was Operation Swamp Dragon. His battalion was to aid in taking over the city of Caddadast on the planet Omia. Omia was a planet made up mostly of dangerous swamps, and Caddadast was a well-fortified city. After trying and failing to breach the walls, Rho-Hux decided to starve the city out. He ordered his forces to poison the swamp water around the city preventing them from fishing or receiving clean water from within their home. Every time a group went out to get resupplies from elsewhere, Rho-Hux would launch a series of brutal guerilla attacks. The final nail in the coffin came when Rho-Hux received some anti-aircraft reinforcements. Soon the citizens of Caddadast found themselves trapped within their own city without food or clean water. This victory earned Rho-Hux the nickname of “The Constrictor of Caddadast.”

Ethereology: “Ghosting” as some people call it. Rho-Hux can mute any noise he makes (like footsteps and breathing), remove his scent, and change his body temperature to match the environment around him. While this does not make him invisible; it does aid him greatly in stealth missions and when combined with his Octopus suit, he seemingly disappears from existence only to reappear behind his soon to be deceased enemies. The drawback to this power (other than the usual drawbacks to ether powers) is that if Rho-Hux were to be set on fire while using this power, his body temperature would rise dramatically, causing him to burn internally and externally."

Strengths:

  • Father to his men: Downplayed. His troops fear and respect him. On one hand, he is protective of them, had led them through seemingly impossible missions, and motivates them to be their very best. On the other hand, he regularly threatens them for even minor mistakes and never gives compliments (he thinks it would make them become overconfident so even when they do everything right, he still finds a way to criticize them). Soldiers that have worked with him for a while know his methods and are loyal to him, while newer soldiers wish for the day a missile blows up the major’s head.
  • Honest: If there’s one thing Rho-Hux hates more than cowards, its liars. He sees lying as an incredible dishonor and will never lie to anyone, even enemies. If he doubts a plan, he’ll say them. If he offers a deal (very rare) he will try his best to honor it.
  • Loyal: Despite being made to fight against them, Rho-Hux is now completely devoted to the PCL. He may not like some of their members or leadership, but he considers them the closest thing to a perfect civilization and fights for them without question despite their “shortcomings”. It is perhaps his loyalty to the PCL and his brutal honesty that has kept him in service for so long.
  • Patient: When in a war, Rho-Hux is perfectly fine to drag a battle out so long that the enemy tries and loses morale. He can also wait in place for hours, waiting for the precise moment to attack his foes when they least expect it, then return to the shadows to wait again.
Weaknesses:

  • Feared reputation: His greatest strength is also his greatest weakness. Rho-Hux is disliked by civilians and politicians. He is seen as a brutal savage, and not the image of an ideal PCL soldier. His “take no prisoners mentality” has also gotten him in trouble several times.
  • Fire: A lot of Rho-Hux equipment is sensitive to fire, as is his Ether abilities. While fire is painful to most lifeforms if Rho-Hux is ever set on fire his equipment would malfunction and his Ether ability would go into overdrive causing his body temperature to rise to dangerous levels.
  • Stubborn: Rho-Hux does not believe in compromise, you either surrender to the PCL and accepts all their terms, or you face extermination. This extends to missions as well, as he never surrenders. One time he had to be dragged into an escape ship by his battalion when they were ordered to retreat by their colonel.
  • Clueless: A lifetime devoted to warfare has left Rho-Hux with practically nothing outside of that. Whenever he is off duty he eagerly awaits going back on the front lines. He does not know how to properly behave around civilians or hold a conversation that doesn’t somehow relate to war. This has led him to have close to no friends or social life, never mind how he only makes interactions between military and civilians worse whenever he’s around.
Starting Weaponry, Armor, and Equipment:

Octopus armor: Blends in with the environment around it. This when combined with his ether power makes Rho-Hux nearly impossible to detect. It is light and offers more mobility for the wearing at the price of not being as sturdy for defensive as other advanced suits of armor. It also malfunctions horribly if set on fire for too long.

Grapple Battle Rifle: Rho-Hux’s favored weapon, it helps it transverse the battlefield. He has also trained with it the most and has more proficiency with it than with his other weapons. If he’s using this weapon, he’s leaving nothing to chance.

Twin SMG guns. When Rho-Hux wants to throw all sense of self-preservation to the wind he will wield his SMGs and swords in all four arms and make a mad dash towards the enemy, slicing and gunning down anyone who gets in his way. His aim worsens when he’s doing a mad dash, but many weak-willed adversaries lose morale when seeing an 8-foot-tall, four-armed, Gealtirocht charging at them while waving around swords and submachine guns.

Daishō: Souvenirs from Earth, Rho-Hux took great interest in studying their ancient warrior cultures. He commissioned a pair of enhanced swords styled after the traditional samurai swords; the katana and the smaller wakizashi.

Name: Dalia

Age: 23

Height: 5'0

Species: Drakairis (Post Human Dragon-esque)

Faction Alignment: ASR

Physical Appearance: Dalia has orange eyes, common among her kin. They are the colour of molten rock. She is built of layered lean muscle from head to toe with the body of a trained dancer as it compares to humans themselves. Where she is not scaled is she lightly tanned. She retains her mammalian traits as the Drakairis are still mammals. As she was sculpted she is modest of bust and backside. At the base of her spine a tail comes out. It is made of balance mostly and if hanging limp rests just at the knee.

The wings are modification and rare trait among her kin. It was brought out as she was grown and developed into sturdy versions of them with enhanced durability. Her horns are also modified into a shape best made to use Echo-location. These traits existed in her mother, but bio-technology perfected them a step further.


Skills and proficiencies:

Lab Grown: She was cloned and selectively grown with much of the flaws removed from her genetic coding. She rarely gets sick and is a paragon of her species while still appearing friendly enough and attractive enough to humans on the surface. Shame about that personality.

Close Quarters Combat Specialist: With the arsenal at her disposal she is nothing short of terrifying when she cuts loose on nearby enemies.

Giant Killer: At five feet tall most things are larger than her. She has turned this into an advantage with a style made to deal with these opponents.

Beast Empathy: Beasts seem to respect her or stay out of the way. Some even follow her. Whatever it is about her beasts and her have an understanding.

Personality and Background: Dalia can be sweet, really she can. For the right price she is any number of things on the battlefield. Off the battlefield she likes to live with vigor after having grown up in a lab for so long. She gets bored easily and when it comes to thinking she prefers action and improvising. This means she never made it high up any ladder, but ho hum. She knows she is deadly, even among her peers and embraces this part of herself. This is the reason she says she never made any lasting friends, but it is more the ticking time bomb that is her finely honed draconian heritage that does it.

She joined the ASR since her mother told her to. It was the only way out of the lab. The deal was simple. Join the ASR as a mercenary and prove her mother's work was correct, that Dalia was perfection built from the mind and body of Dala herself. If Dalia served and if she lived she could be free to do as she wished after. That is what she was told and so she lives at the cost it takes to do so and when that purpose is done she will seek out another.

Ethereology:
Rage: What it says on the tin. She undoes the control she barely retains in fights and figuratively becomes the creature her kin are based on. She seems to instictually move to minimize the hits she does take and shrug off the ones that find a hold of her. She retains a semblance of control only barely, recognizing allies still, but putting her at risk for the Dragon's Temper to turn the table.

Enhanced Strength: Turning her aether into augmentation for her own muscle she gets stronger than her body should be. This protects her from any strain of pushing to her limit for a small amount of time to carry things. Used as a flicker of a spell she can augment her strikes to hit a lot harder.

Strengths:
Gliding Wings: Her species has wings and while not capable of flight can let her glide, especially if she grabs a current.

Shock Trooper Training: Hit them hard, hit them fast. She is trained to sweep places quickly and efficiently.

Martial Artist: She was wired with the muscle memory of a martial artist and then taught each day since she could do so properly. Weapons or not she is terrifying.

Echo-Locate: She has enhanced spatial awareness and is sensitive the sounds around her, even from targets trying to conceal themselves.

Weaknesses:
Grown in Lab: She was grown in a lab, then raised to fight. It is her purpose and she hasn't questioned it so far. Her approach is heavy handed when an ally is is in danger and the answer to that is scorched earth.

Greed: To the highest bidder go her power. The ASR was paying her very nicely to go in and sweep buildings. Some of the opposition even made ashes of themselves. She knows she isn't a hero and isn't trying to be one, but even her greed has limits...they're in there somewhere.

Dragon's Temper: Their breath is hot and their temper can run just as hot given proper provocation. If she is in a fury she can be downright dangerous. It is a good thing her suit has a built in tranquilizer to knock her out. A shame if it broke.

Cold Blooded Mercenary: She does not sway easily to emotional pleas, only rarely and that rarely comes where the alternative is her or her team dying. Dead mercs don't get to enjoy their money.




Starting Weaponry, Armour, and Equipment:

Main Weapons: Dragon Breaths
Sticky Flame: This flame breath is not one you want getting on your armor. It lingers, melts, and digs into gaps. Most of her species use it for welding, but it has other uses like locking up armor or destroying firearms.

Smoke Breath: A lab grown breath that rather than actually make fire it creates a thick cloud that obscures thermal sensors. It isn't recommended on breathing it in either. It tastes rather unpleasant to others outside of her species.

White Fire: Flame hot enough to melt through things. It comes and goes in a flash, but a flash seems to be enough in most cases to give a second thought to a second helping of it.

Secondary Weapons:
Repeater Crossbow: Standard crossbow that spring out with serrated hooks on impact. They hurt to get hit with and worse to yank out. She keeps the standard hook rounds on her, then a set set made from the substance in her sticky flame. When in the blood stream it causes feverish symptoms as it makes the temperature of whatever hits it spike for a time. the Sticky Flame bolts are better to hit exposed flesh as opposed to armor.

Melee Weapons:
What is a dragon without claws. They are sharp and can rend armor apart. As it turns out most hostile things do not have a habit of letting her close if they can help it.

Armour: Her kin are known for their pride in their evolution and tend to wear armour around the torso where their vitals are, but show their scaled neck, arms and legs with pride. What's more is that the scales are just about as hard as power armor when struck, but that comes at a limit. Armor piercing rounds may be able to also pierce her scales.

Physical appearance: (modifying it a bit to have a body covering grey robes. With lining of red and yellow. On his physical body there are etchings and text than not many can read. If asked he will say they are the holy words of the divine. Prayers of power and strength when needed on his body)

Skills and Proficiencies: A master tinkerer and builder Maul can repair machines and weapons with incredible ease. As one soldier would know how to clean their weapon seamlessly he could achieve the same seamless efficiency in maintaining and improving tech. With his highly modified platform he can engage combat in many styles with his most often seen gun glaive. Using speed and strength are impressive but by no means unbeatable. His main strength besides fixing what he desires is his mind. Intelligence and cunning are useful beyond what a simple gun can provide. His arms having a lot of plating on them house a battery of equipment. His fingers can switch between dozens of individual tools to repair tech and help him in his duties.

Personality and Background: Maul began as Gabriel Maul. A head strong yet loyal young man. He was friendly and though held a small but acceptable belief in higher powers he was a soldier. A warrior with distinction who found his true purpose as a mechanic. He had been apart of a rather large engagement and was maintaining a battle mech that had sustained critical injuries. In fact the mech was so damaged he was able to stop if from overloading only by the slightest of margins once before getting a seal over an opening in the reactor chamber. If this example showed only slightly was that once he decided on a path it would be done or over his dead body. Unbeknownst to him this was just the decision fate or whatever being had decided when the reactors seals broke and it detonated in transit. Gabriel was not killed by the blast but by no means did he 'survive' it either. Nearly a limbless husk of a brain dead soldier he was in an infirmary and saw dreams of what occurred and his life.

But as he was about to accept his fate and try to die he was brought before an intelligence. Benevolent and it seemed to know his intentions or desires to pass on. he saw no man or women as many had described. He saw instead an outline of a machine. Angular shapes showing its form from the light behind it. Instead of letting him pass it pushed thoughts into his mind and spoke. Gabriel heard words that made a comatose near dead man awaken. But there was cost to such a return. A cost Gabriel willingly gave. Instead of flesh he was steel. Instead of skin he had armored plating. And the being echoed a name in his mind. Not its name......but his new one. He was to be known as Vaygus, the first worshiper of the all crafter. The molder of steel and designer of the perfect paradise. From here on all who asked of his real name or if they knew it was not he only referred to Gabriel as his savage name. And Vaygus his holy name.

After this he walked from the med wing and found his mind introduced to pure truths. As he would understand the religion he found the world more clear. Machines had souls. The machine soul had to be saved of all he could save. And make new ones if possible. Realizing that when one put personality to a machine over time it would develop one such personality. Apparently humans had done this for centuries. And thus wrote the divine text The Holy Designs. A book of incredible scope that details everything in his religion. From speaking to the Divine Crafter to awakening a machine soul. With the sacred text with him at all times he often recites prayer and to the confusion to others this helps complete his duties and more. Though he is tolerant if some decide to insult and even attack his religion and he is working for them he is not against helping them meet their end. By direct or indirect means. Diplomacy is desired but by no means is he against bloody conflict. Along with seeing machines as equals he sees those who have robotic implants or cyborgs as those in need of uplifting. Helping them reach their final shape. Seeing the best chance of getting tech he accepted a contract of employment with the Pan-Celestial League. Though he cares little for the League it helps him achieve his goals. He helps maintain and improve their tech. He keeps some and gets first grabs on new discoveries.

Etherology: He is able to recite prayers and they may have varying effects upon reciting them. Any will have more effect if given to machines but they can help mortal flesh though it depends of implants or if they are at all enhanced by integrated tech. These prayers vary from helping sooth a machine soul to protection or empowering others. The prayer and scripture engraved on his plating and body if read correctly has the chance to immediately take effect on the reader. Though again machines and augmented individuals have the best chance of this.

Strengths: Intelligence, Strategy, Unwavering devotion, Determined, Utterly Ruthless

Weaknesses: Doesn't often follow common command structures, sometimes overly obsessed with his duties, temperamental to those who abuse their machines, often kills those who insult or try to take what is his

The explosive shell gun glaive named Creation's Maw is a weapon Vaygus designed and keeps for his personal use. You will rarely if ever see him go anywhere without it. One person tried to purchase the very same gun glaive off of him. The only response he received was the blade being swung and cleaving him in two at the waist.

Yet another creation of his the Plasma anti material rifle is a powerful mid and long range weapon. The regenerating Plasma coil can over heat then will need to cool and after can continue firing. Though if the energy core runs out it will need to be recharged by an exterior power source or replaced with another core.

Skills and Proficiancies: He is remarkably skilled in combat and many lethal tactics. Unlike Vaygus he is more of the military solder mindset. Upon getting orders he will complete them any way he can. Sacrifice whatever needed to defend Vaygus. He looks at Vaygus as a mentor and as a close friend. But by far he is the more.....reasonable of the two. Where Vaygus had to go at it alone often being brutal in his diplomacy due to having nobody else beside him, Heidon was the assistant to this change. When there was Diplomacy he often spoke for Vaygus unless the high priest desired to speak for himself. And often can bring down tempers even the high priest if one really was yearning to die by him. Though he is more friendly of the two once a threat to Vaygus is identified he will not hesitate to slaughter every being in front of him to safeguard his charge.


Personality and Background: Heidon though known at the time as Hector is a top of the line military man. Or at the very least he was. He was a soldier that could undertake any action and with cunning and determination get it done. He had a larger build than most before his rebirth. Broad shoulders, and a physical form fit for a soldier. However he had suffered from an artillery strike on his position. He knew it had been danger close but the shell nearly exploded exactly on him. Thankfully large piles of debris helped muffle the massive blast. But it also made that very cover he was using topple and crush him. He was near death when someone found him. He had asked about his team even though he was on death's door. But the individual simply shook his head, opened a book, and began to chant. Praying something he couldn't hear nor understand as the translated words began to mix with machine communication distortion. When he passed out he awoke in a small building and a machine over him. The machine introduced himself as Vaygus Maul. And due to his prayer and work to keep his flesh alive he was able to divert his mind into a computerized form. Then placing him in a body similar to his own.

Having been told of his situation Vaygus Maul addressed him as Heidon. Having learned his name by his dog tags he instead used this name. Upon questioning Vaygus explained how he had survived. By the holy gift of the Divine Crafter he had been given life anew. His new name being evidence of his new gift of life. Though his life was now his to do what he wished the newly named Heidon offered an eternal service to Vaygus. And vowed to be his protector as they went to try and free souls they could find.

Etherology: Passive battle ability allows him to scan the environment. There is always a subsystem active scanning and looking at the place and people he is around.

Strengths: Physical Strength, Speed, Strategy, Diplomatic, Adaptive

Weaknesses: Slower due to bulk, lacking in stealth, if using his etherial ability more frequantly it can be tracked. Has not fully mastered his abilities to remove being tracked.

Weaknesses: sometimes she reads her opponent wrong and thus sends her getting punched rather than punching her opponent.having too much attention towards details make her have a migraine. she can't adapt to very cold weather. she will become slow and slightly unfocused of her work. Her snipers slow reloads ( if she failed four shots ) it takes her almost a minute to reload but by then her target might have run away. When using her sniper she becomes a bit vulnerable because she has to focus on her aim against the enemies. When she feels Empathy, Optimism, Discernment. A strong knife that can deal enemies into losing too much blood and will take time to stitch up all the cuts inflicted by the tri-blade of the knife

History: Jiāo'ào de zuìguo life isnt the awesomest or coolest life to everyone's thoughts about her but instead she lived up in isolation from her family when she was a young child. Her family, through her younger years never let her run outside and play with kids in fear that she might get abducted because of her family succession. Her mother and father were known to be the most famous and well known engineers and people to monsters and other Races go to their shop to fix or make something they wanted. But for Jiāo'ào, she has no interest in her family business and leads her and her parents in an argument sometimes but they talked it out at dinner and with her saying sorry they will have a day full of smiles.

Jiāo'ào dreamed of learning how to combat and weaponry. Thankfully her parents did allow her to go to a military school where she learned everything she needed. Though she felt sympathy over her parents' kindness towards her wishes and so while she learned Combat and weaponry she also did her best at learning about engineering but secretly. She wanted to surprise her parents about her knowing skills of Engineer to her parents when she graduate and a thanks to them

But before she could even do that. A one unfaithful day when she was told that she was one of the top soldiers who will graduate. She ran to the shop where her parents work to tell them the good news and instead of a wide smile she was met with corpses on the ground. In horror she rushed into her parents bodies and cried out. Screaming that she will avenge her parents death and to whomever commited the crime of her parents. She would give them justice

The small joy from her heart for her parents that even if she was isolated and alone with no friends was all gone and she became cold. And she became a well known Engineer who can do or fix anything that she can touch and she was well known and Called as Dead eye because of her skills at snooping on her enemies without skipping a beat and she do her jobs clean and even through her cold head she cried in the dark and with a smoke and beer that will make her pain go away

Living Armory: As with the rest of his species, Karnix is a living colony of arms and armor augmentations.

Psychoparasitic Synchronization: Over the years Karnix has personally developed a handful of psychoparasites for use among his squad. The primary parasite is a symbiotic bio tracker that is injected into the spine of a host where it will embed into the nervous system, allowing Karnix a connection to monitor the host's vitals. Alongside this the symbiote begins to adapt the host's sweat glands to produce a pheromone to allow Karnix a further method for tracking his squad.

Personality and Background:
A career soldier that has spent the vast majority of his tenure in combat, Karnix may be one the few that can claim to be equally feared and respected by both allies and enemies alike. The vast majority of his tenure has been spent, in some shape or form, on the battlefield. Mostly outnumbered and outgunned, Karnix learned the art of Unconventional Warfare through the time honored tactic of trial by fire. Many victories were won. Many were lost. And through it all the once noble Vrexul commander began to change.
Weathered by years of constant struggle has turned Karnix from the honored commander into a brutal, calculating guerrilla commander. Outside of combat Karnix embodies the qualities common among his people; Quiet, aloof, yet always professional, his attitude in combat changes to become vicious, determined, calculating, and utterly ruthless.

Unconventional Tactician: Years of leading guerrilla commandos has taught Karnix many lessons in warfare. He makes use of every victory and every defeat, siphoning through everything to perfect his combat strategy.

Adaptable: Improvise, adapt, and overcome is the philosophy that rules his life.

Weaknesses:
Perfectionist: Karnix seeks perfection in all facets, including his own physiology. He has little patience for those who do not meet his grueling standards.

Brutal: Both a strength and a weakness in equal measure, Karnix's tactics do not shy away from absolute violence and shock tactics. No method is too far or too much, and this commonly leads him into conflict with ASR superiors.

Arrogant: A lifetime spent waging his own form of war has left Karnix with little taste for the advice, or opinions, of other leaders or his superiors. Tell him the job and then let him work. Leave the details alone.

Species: Aixue Beast - Tall, athletic, and powerful being that use their abilities to chase down prey. They excel in anti-ether combat.

Faction Alignment: Carnazir

Physical Appearance:
Marjan is a tall anthropomorphic wolf with navy blue fur covering the entirety of his body. He has deep red eyes that stare down into the soul of whoever he looks at, but rest just above a soft furry snout. His tongue is sharp and split like a snake's which makes him carry the letter "S" for longer than intended. On each of his forearms three bones protrude out in the shapes of blades, large enough to be recognized as a threat, and appear to have been sharpened. He has a long winding tail that spans three quarters of his height and is as bushy as Marjan is large.

Skills and proficiencies: Breaching and Clearing, Tracking, Close Quarters Combat, Ether Vampire, Spore Technology, Witch Hunter, and Bio-Augmentations.

Personality and Background: Never being one to agree with the warmongering and conquering nature of his people, but recognizing its strengths, Marjan became a mercenary and underwent extensive augmentation to make himself a valuable asset. He did well to impress and rose in the ranks as a recon unit. However, he needed an edge that no one else had to improve his paygrade so while he worked for the ASR he pooled his connections and resources into making a biological armor that would respond to him.

Yet, as his plans were going well, the political field started to get dicey and the ASR began a purge of many of its members. A move that Marjan found to be rather disgusting. So, he took the armor in the working state it was in and moved on to the Carnazir as they denounced the ASR for supporting the old regime and their dictatorial agenda. From here Marjan started from square one and gained the trust of his leaders to rise once again as an exceptional scout and soldier.

Strengths: Determined, Kind, Strong-Willed, and Charismatic

Weaknesses: Hard-Headed, Emotional, Pessimistic, and Weak at Range.

Starting Weaponry, Armour, and Equipment:
Armor:
  • Experimental living armor. This armor covers the entirety of his body and most of his tail. It sits over his camelpack meant for water and is connected to his internal rig meant for sucking the energy of ether from his foes. Using the same functions as his ether rig he can control this armor to form around him and grant him protection from most grazing shots and direct hits from low powered fire at range. It does extremely well at blocking ether and slashing damage. It holds up well against heat and is fire-resistant, but also is a million times better at keeping its user warm in the cold. The armor also comes outfitted with a flamethrower near his mouth that he can use to spew ether flames. In addition, the armor's visor allows him to increase zoom and see infrared signatures.

Main Ranged:

  • An assault rifle whose barrel has been designed to launch ether powered rounds, but the barrel can be remove to equip another meant to fire common ammunition used by most combatants. These barrel modifications fit in a pouch the size of two magazine holders making it a close range weapon. The penetration power of this weapon is low, but it's fire rate is high. It is classified as a rifle for the type of ammunition it uses.
Carried on Right Leg:
  • A submachine gun that utilizes three different loading mechanisms to make finding ammo magazines and refilling a very real strategy. To switch between these mechanisms there is a switch that filters between all three different magazines. This essentially turns the weapon into one have a magazine capacity of 150 shots. These magazines work in a unique top-loading fashion.
Carried Actively/On Strap:
  • A standard issue energy rifle that has a mag that can convert from energy production to ether production. This magazine can be retrofitted to certain receivers in Marjan's body to absorb stored ether energy and use it as ammunition.
Secondary Weapons:
Carried on Underside of Left Arm:
  • A pistol with an automatic function. This pistol has a tight magazine, but insane fire rate. It can be switched to semi-auto with the flick of a switch to conserve shots.
Carried on Left Leg:
  • The handcannon. Used when Marjan really doesn't like you. This weapon has the smallest magazine at 4 shots, but has the highest penetration power in his arsenal. Fitted to work with the ether rig inside of him or with ammo intended for long range energy rifles, this thing hurts.
Melee Weapons:
Body:
  • 3 inch long claws
  • A spear like end on his tail
  • Sets of three spikes on each of his arms that are 4 inches high, 3 inches in circumference narrowing to a blade's edge, and 3 inches long.
On Chest:
  • Standard combat knife. It is made of a sturdy metal and good for cutting wires, rope, people, and other useful things. It also has a nice curved point used for poking small holes or reaching into small crevices.
On Left Arm:
  • Hidden spike fitted to his his biological armor. The spike extends about 7 inches in length and can be used as an effective sword to trade blows for short bursts. The spike is made of metal and has no sharp edges, but one hell of a point.
Gear:
  • Canisters of spore extract that spew out of a compartment in the top of the canister like smoke. They do not completely inhibit vision, but their presence in an enclosed space does make the air seem hazy. The spores will latch on to any material they can, except those outfitted to avoid their stickiness, and Marjan's special brew will corrode metal and release a viral infection when any of the spores come into contact with ether energy. This arming process will activate the effects of the spores and cause them to multiply for a brief moment to release the viral infection which will increase visual impairment.
  • Communicators are located on the wrists of Marjan's armor in the form of small fleshlike watches, in addition he has a physical one that he can pull out of one of his pouches that resembles a walkie talkie, and finally he has an ear piece that works for short range communication.
  • He has a laser pointer to direct teams and a miniature telescope at his side.
  • Water is fitted onto his pack and he has a straw for where he can suck it out that leads up to his shoulders and wraps to the other.
  • He carries two grenades and two flares.

Personality:
Stein's knowledge of consciousness digitization has allowed him to retain much of his emotional capacity, setting him aside from the average machine. However, a subtle side effect is that his emotional expression has become less intense compared to the average human, and some responses have simply been deactivated - leading to an individual that is fearless and calculating. Primarily brooding and inquisitive, he is liable to asking a lot of questions about just almost anything. Though, he is reluctant to share much about himself as his life forced him into becoming furtive. Despite this, he is not a stranger to forming attachments. Stein is known to be extremely focused, at times even brutal - being able to activate and deactivate his emotions to a full extent results in cold efficiency and unhindered performance under stress, no matter the morality of the action. Deep down, he has a greater philosophical touch, making him substantially more unpredictable than a machine that relentlessly seeks to complete its mission.​

Background:
Stein was a human in the past, apparently one that was an exceptional scientist and technician. Enough so as to construct his present body from scratch, intended to reflect his younger self in appearance. Some 23 years ago, he compiled a full image of his biological consciousness and rendered it into one of his greatest inventions - a mechanical alternative to the human brain. A successor to it.​
Though the skills and knowledge carried over, the vast majority of his memory became corrupted in an unknown accident. He didn't know why the consciousness transfer even took place, he only knows that he did it, and how he did it. His life before the transfer, his name, age and origin was completely lost. His new name, 'Stein', was his extrapolation of a serial number he found in the compound from which he emerged. The transfer was performed remotely, his biological self being located at a different location - one which has also been lost in the wake of the data corruption. It was clear that his body wasn't cosmetically finished, with his skin, eyes and hair lacking pigmentation that would result in more seamless integration into humanity. Stein no longer saw the need to finish it, choosing to carry his synthetic nature on his proverbial sleeve.​
No longer knowing his purpose and stuck with an indefinite life span, Stein dedicated his time to combing through what he knew and improving on it. Years of independent scientific research, tech development and self-modification have landed him into the sights of high ranking officials in the Pan-Celestial League. Having been offered to have his research funded with resources in exchange for his service and knowledge for certain 'projects', Stein agreed. After a short number of years, his potential for military action as a synthetic was exploited by the PCL - leading him to participate in secretive blackops placements as an active agent.​
Many of these operations featured putting down interior threats, but others heavily focused on infiltration of the Assembly of Solar Republics. In one such operation, Stein was captured by a disproportionate counter-intelligence force while the other members of his squad used the moment to vanish. The android proved to be an exceptional liar, leading the ASR to conduct several dead-end goose chases of non-existent security threats and spies in its own governmental structure. His execution never came to be, however - the ASR saw a potential turncoat in Stein and exploited it by offering him a more profitable deal for independent scientific research. Being disillusioned by both his squad and the PCL, Stein agreed. The deal was to be a plant in the PCL, in ASR's favour.​
Stein then 'escaped' back to PCL territory, albeit with real physical damage after some torture. The ASR really didn't like the lying. But pain is a factor too abstract to the likes of a machine, it too was left behind - they didn't have to know that part.​
The PCL vetted Stein thoroughly, but he eventually passed the assessment well enough to be reintegrated into the blackops force. From there, both the PCL and ASR were receiving valuable tactical information about one another through Stein as a medium. Both without the knowledge of the other. Stein was receiving double resources for his personal goals from both parties. After several more years of going back and forth in such a manner, Stein had enough and worked to leave the mess that he got himself involved in. Unfortunately for him, the PCL and ASR respectively declared that he already knew too much to retire. It wasn't an answer that Stein was willing to accept.​
In the wake of the Civil War, the android vanished with both his resources and knowledge of some of the dirtiest secrets the PCL and ASR wanted to stay buried. The war itself was a convenient curtain for a now high-value fugitive to bunker down on the Frontier World of Chalgheol, under jurisdiction of Carnazir. It wasn't too long before he was discovered illegally staying in Caracosa, albeit catching him was a different matter. With Carnazir becoming aware of exactly who Stein was through sympathetic channels, they eventually leveraged their anti-imperial reputation to coax him into a deal that wasn't too dissimilar from those he had before. In this instance however, it was more grounded in high personal gain for cooperation and extreme jeopardy in defiance. If Stein works for Carnazir, he gets asylum and eventual immunity from the pursuing PCL and ASR, as well as wiggle room and resources for his projects. If he doesn't do what they request, they will extradite him to either the PCL or ASR, whichever is more profitable. The choice was simple.​
Carnazir's directive placed Stein at the front line in search of 'relics'. But the mist had other plans.​

Base - A charcoal grey skin-fit jumpsuit, with softly glowing cyan lights embedded into the sides of every mobile joint. Covers the body in full save for the head, with integrated boots and rubberised palms. A segmented hexagonal icon is engraved into the jumpsuit between the shoulder blades, and on the left pectoral area. The jumpsuit hosts embedded grids, on which armour can be mounted. These are currently unequipped. Though Stein sometimes wears clothes over the top of the jumpsuit, he does not have any when first caught in the mist.​
• [Integrated Blades]
Stein's forearms are equipped with black flat-point internal blades. They rapidly deploy from one compartment on each forearm, on the upper side. The deployment is bi-directional; the blades either reach over the back of the hands, or out from the elbows for the equivalent of another forearm's length. The blades themselves can be ejected as mid-range projectiles, but Stein can either remount them or manufacture new ones to replace them using metals on hand.​
• [Gauss Accelerators]
The android's forearms hold another hidden feature, an array of miniaturised rails. 3 rails per arm and reinforced by an elaborate pulse magnet architecture, Stein can accurately fire objects up to 10mm in diameter over long-range at massive velocities by inserting them into hidden receptacles. This can range from small ammunition, to metal debris. But using these weapons is a large power sink.​

Stein was issued with an assault rifle by Carnazir before his deployment. Though an obvious jumble of designs thrown together, it has fantastic handling in the hands of an android. Though with a relatively low fire rate for a rifle of its type, it packs a punch in mid-range engagements. Due to Carnazir anticipating that Stein's task would have him out in the field for a potentially very long time, the rifle has had adjustments in order to make it as modifiable as possible - many of its parts sharing common characteristics with others of its type used in the Civil War.​

Cybernetic Augmentation (Perk):
The Shon-Vuu practice widespread augmentation of their bodies in order to work with the powered suits so common in their lives, and also to interface with a variety of machines used for agriculture, industry, and construction, as given their avian evolutionary roots, their bodies are frail as compared to other sentient species.

Technological Skill (Perk):
Within a few generations, the Shon-Vuu went from having recently discovered metal alloys and rudimentary gun powder to working with 3D printed nano-carbon chains and railguns, which required a rapid overhaul of their entire society down to the individual. The ones who made it to the other side of this tumultuous process came out with an incredible affinity for learning new skills related to technology, picking up techniques and ideas with a rapidity that often shocks or disturbs other species. This rapid insight into technology also leads them to have a great deal of skill jury rigging and hacking things together, finding the value in other’s garbage.

Ether Manipulation (Perk):
Evolving on a world with a number of larger predator species meant that the Shon-Vuu developed a number of things in order to survive in the face of bigger, stronger, faster competition. Classic tactics like cooperation and sharing resources, clever traps and ambushes were supplemented by an ability to momentarily attract or repel ether through biochemical means, confusing the senses of the beasts that sought to devour them.

In the modern day, having been introduced to ether enhanced weaponry and armor, they have begun to work this natural talent into their technology, relying on it to momentarily enhance weaponry fire rates, hit harder, or bulk up built in shields. Some particularly talented members of the species use this to repel large quantities of ether outward creating a shockwave of force and destruction, but this often leaves both the individual and the technology they are in drained of power and vulnerable.

Guerrilla Warfare:
Sarnai has been both training to be and training others to be resistance fighters for several years now. Even compared to other Shon-Vuu, she is an expert in jury rigging and repairing damaged equipment, always making more out of less. She has also been trained in how to fight stronger, better equipped enemies with careful tactics and maneuver, and how to rally others to the cause of the people and the resistance.

Personality and Background:
Originally a member of the underclass on her home world, Sarnai-Zaya stole a military grade powered armor suit and escaped off-world, joining an active rebellion movement that had been welcomed in by the Assembly of Solar Republics. Fueled by anger and revolutionary zeal, she immediately volunteered to be a member of the strike forces that went back into enemy territory, working to undermine the grip the Pan Celestial League had on her home world and people.

Sarnai tries to maintain an equitable, reserved outer face, but when under heavy stress or pressure, she can have an explosive temper that won’t be quieted until she vents all of it. She can be loyal to a fault, believing that those who help her deserve the same, whether that be individuals or the greater cause the ASR purports to champion, so she has stayed true to the ASR even in the face of the corruption and deception she has witnessed.

As a now veteran of the resistance movements, she helps develop underground cells of fighters and terrorists across a variety of worlds. Most recently Sarnai was sent to Caracosa in order to advance the cause of the ASR and the rebellion, however she saw fit.

Enhanced Rifle Fire:
Sarnai has built a system into her suit that when fueled by her biochemical bursts of aether, can connect to either her railgun or assault rifle, increasing their round velocity and fire rate for short periods.

Active camouflage:
All Shon-Vuu powered armor suits contain a module capable of manipulating light; bending and shifting it around and past the armor to effectively make it invisible without enhanced optics. Sarnai has altered hers to use a rechargeable battery of her own design instead of PCL expendable energy packs. The battery slowly recharges itself thanks to both Sarnai’s biochemical ether production and the ambient ether in the world, exchanging the ability to spend extended time periods camouflaged for never losing the ability to.

Strengths:
Adaptable:
Sarnai is able to keep fighting for months, even years with some luck, without military resupply because she is able to keep scavenging and reconfiguring equipment, to the point of making her own ammo on occasion.

Sharpshooter:
Sarnai knows that the best way to fight a more powerful opponent is to not fight them at all, just hit them where it will hurt and run before they can hit back.

Cybernetic augmentations:
Sarnai has the augmentations common to members of her species, helping her pilot her custom powered armor suit, making it an extension of her own body. She also has a few more practical augments, helping her survive on a more varied diet then she would normally be able to and more easily speak to and translate across species and languages.

Weaknesses:
Janky Equipment:
Sarnai’s greatest strength is also her greatest weakness. Her adaptability and ability to keep herself and her equipment going regardless of situation also means that her gear is a mish-mash of patch work and repair jobs, always in need of a tune-up and care.

Physically Weak:
Even the burliest Shon-Vuu are seen as frail by many other species, and Sarnai is far from an example of peak physical fitness after years of living on half rations in small, resource starved resistance cells, relying on technology and skill to keep her alive

Temper:
Having grown up watching the preening, smug aristocrats of her home world continually step on and abuse the lower class she was born into, Sarnai has a number of issues with anger management, particularly if the subject appears to be acting “better than” her. This means that when pushed up against the wall literally or metaphorically, she is known to snap, lashing out in anger as opposed to trying to deescalate the situation.

Devoted:
Sarnai believes almost absolutely in both loyalty and “better the devil you know, then the devil you don’t”, so despite having seen that her comrades-in-arms and the ASR as a whole can be just as bad as the PCL and aristocrats she is fighting to overthrow, she has decided to stick by them. They gave her a hand up, and at the very least say they want to help the little people, which is better than the other side ever did.

Powered Armor Suit:
Standing at approximately 8'2", Sarnai's armor is a bulky, angular thing painted in the blocky green and grey camo of the Ger-Gui Irregulars.

The system is based mostly on borrowed and repurposed human technology, and as such it stands straight as opposed to hunched over as a Shon-Zuu would normally stand in order to fit the small fusion/ether mix reactor that powers it.

A stubby, armored torso made up of angled and sloped plates in order to better protect from anti-vehicle and anti-tank rounds protects the pilot, a pair of long bird like digitigrade legs providing rapid movement and a wide range of motion aided by a set of small jump jets primarily used to bound over obstacles and debris but capable of limited periods of flight if a majority of the reactor output is sent to the jump systems.

These are complemented by two thick arms covered in the same angular armor as the torso, ending in a set of precision manipulator fingers, with a sensor suite built along the "head" and shoulders providing standard optic enhancements in the form of optical zoom, tactical HUD, ether signature tracking, low-light amplification and thermal filtering.

The armor is a mix of carbon nanotubes and advanced metal alloys, with ether shielding emitters to provide protection against energy burst weapons and similar attacks such as EMP in order to maximize agility without sacrificing durability whenever possible.

A massive, 7’2” long, vehicle destroyer railgun that plugs into the power system of the suit and uses shaped discs of hyperdense, explosive material as ammunition. This weapon is completely unusable without the suit or a suitable replacement power supply. Stored along the back of the suit via magnetic strips.

Assault Rifle:
Customized rifle, 5’3” long, with single fire, two shot burst, and fully automatic modes. Capable of utilizing a variety of modular ammunition, plugs into the suit in order to directly interface with the HUD, sensor suites, and suit electronics. Stored along the left side of the suit via magnetic strips when not in use. Sarnai can not use this outside of the suit, because it is bigger than her.

9’6” long spear with a heavy wedge blade emitting a powerful disruptor field, designed to be used in combination with the jump systems for performing high speed charges or dropping onto the target in order to enhance it’s already potent armor piercing capabilities. A collapsible shaft makes it more portable, and is stored along the back of the suit.

Combat Knife:
8” survival and combat knife, with an energy sheathe that can be toggled on for additional cutting power. Stored in a holster along the left leg of the suit.

Misc:
ASR Standard Fragmentation Grenades: An epitome of the ASR design philosophy of “No kill like overkill”. Heavy duty explosives mixed with a disruptor field and a ultra dense metal casing in order to destroy almost anything that gets hit directly by it.

Pylon Electromagnetic Smoke Grenades: Spews a combination of traditional dense smoke designed to obscure an area from traditional optics while also hiding thermal signatures, and electromagnetically charged chaff in order to fool more sophisticated sensors.

Newton EMP Grenade: Releases a series of extremely powerful, shifting magnetic fields inducing random currents in any non-shielded electronics, severely damaging anything caught in it to the point of even potentially causing small fires.
(Note: Grenades carried on a belt hung around the waist of the suit.)

Tool Kit: A variety of tools needed for the repair, maintenance of a Shon-Vuu powered armor suit, along with a small collection of important spare parts. Stored in a locked, armored compartment on the interior waist of the suit, behind the piloting sleeve.

Physical Appearance: Alrus like many of his race looks eerie with semi-transparent vein-filled skin and lengthy nerve clusters attached to cartilaginous protrusions that naturally generate ethereal energy. Given he's had more than his share of CQC training and because he has done a fair bit of running around in the wild and shooting wildlife for his supper his body type is unusual for his kind being a mix between lean and powerhouse.
When out in the field he wears a large power armor and reinforced widened helmet with heat and night vision built-in and neck protector to lessen damage from bludgeoning and some slashing damage. He has a separate special energy sac for his regeneration when he gets hurt.

Personality: Alrus is a fairly well-balanced guy, in fact, he's a realist and isn't completely unhappy but knows sooner one day he'll want more for him and his friends in this messed up and blood-filled world. He loves and respects nature the circle of life and loathes others killing animals and nature for sport and profit if you piss him off quickly that will do. Even though he's not at the gym or the range as often as some of the soldiers he understands one has to practice to a greater extent to improve one's skills. Alrus only has a few friends around for small gatherings or hunts. He loves to read all kinds of books and sometimes likes watching people. He also has an interest in writing computer programs or writing security programs.
He likes making new friends regardless of what side they are on but is very careful what he talks about because he knows it can be used against him in a number of ways.


Background: His friend mouse was a master hacker and taught Alrus all he knows and mouse hacked all kinds of information over the many years and some really nasty secrets, but one day he got caught somehow and the next thing he knows is the man is known as Vox Tyler the info broker and a genius beyond his time had traced mouses IP address and now at the door with six men, Mouse is scared for the first time in his life.
Vox stares them both down and then says let me be very clear I'm not so foolish and come this way for nothing, I could report you mouse for trying to hack my system through the glitch, as you know that will get you a fair amount of time in jail, so I'm telling you don't mess with me and my work or you'll be seeing a jail the next time.
He then turns to alrus and says I've got friends all over this world and I've had someone one high up in PCL who I'm good friends with show your record and you are listed as a soldier and you are very skilled in other areas It would be a shame to throw you in jail, but if you don't come with me as my new assistant and do as I ask over the next five years, you know what will happen if you don't accept my offer. Alrus accepts and from the age of 30 learns how to make security programs and more due to the fact he's a quick learner.

He doesn't remember when exactly but at some point, he made a security program for vox and saw the potential in him, also given vox is a businessman. He helped alrus set up Alrus Antivirus software and brought ten percent shares in it not wanting to be overly greedy like so many. To alrus's surprise, vox also helped him transfer to the cybersecurity In PCL. He thanked him before he left to go back to his world and work and since then has been working in the tech department as cybersecurity for PCL.

He's not super famous like some people out there, but in techy circles, he's called the trickster because just when a hacker thinks they have an easy way in they will often bump into one of his hidden security measures. Sure he loses at times who doesn't but he learns from that experience and does his best to keep honing his skills.



Ethereology: Void Tendrils short-range and can't be used for more than ten minutes at a time because of the energy consumption.

Strengths: Very good at making security programs and using computers this includes counter hacking, Advanced hand to hand, Advanced shooter and marksman, Very creativity both on and off the battlefield.

Weaknesses: Power drain can overload him, his regeneration doesn't heal anything beyond surface wounds most of the time and requires a lot of energy stored in a special internal sac, Hypersensitive to high pitched noise and it causes him to become badly disorientated, SEVERE arachnophobia

Expert sword fighter: Crimson is considered a expert in sword fighting. This comes to her increased strength and the fact that she can use her tail to wrap around objects and strike from her opponents blind spots.

Bio: Crimson is a Voidhanger But was exiled from the fleet after she was determined too Robotic like due to the cybernetics that she applied to her own body. She wandered the galaxy afterwards drifting from one place to another taking whatever job she could. Falling in with many groups pirates, Mercenaries, thugs and similar groups. She did well as a Mercenary doing whatever she was told. She made good money doing her job while looting dead bodies for anything valuable she could later sale. Her hacking skills allow her to also sell information easily as well one time working as a information broker.

Strengths:
Increased strength: Due to her fully cybernetic arms she has more physical strength then most creatures she runs into. She can easily life 400 pounds and carry it around for up to 30 minutes.
Master hacker: Crimsons tail can hook up to any electronic and can merge her mind with the electronic allowing her to hack it with her mind alone. But when she’s connected she is completely immobile.
Tail canon: Crimsons tail can release a powerful shot of energy that has a fairly long range but takes a little bit of time to charge a full 30 second to get to full power. When charging Crimson try’s to dig her hands into the ground before firing as the shot had the potential to push her back.
Torture expert: Her tail comes equipped with small metal needles which she uses to insert under a mans finger nails and tear them off. She had a small blade to insert under someone’s knee caps and pry them out of place. It also has a small drill which she uses to drill small holes into skin.

Weakness:
Tail hacking: While hacking with her tail she is completely immobile. And since her mind is hacking she can not see or hear to world outside meaning she needs to be protected and cannot react to attacks.
Tail canon: It takes 30 seconds to fully charge but can release smaller blasts after 5 seconds. Crimsons more powerful blasts has a chance to blow her back.
Weak body: Crimson has a weak immune system. And any ruptures to her suit could almost be fatal. Diseases and infections are incredibly dangerous to Crimsons weak immune system.
Bullet proof glass mask: If her mask is broken the glass has a chance to cut her skin. And force her to breath on unclean air also exposing her to possible germs that can wreak havoc on her immune system. In the event of a suit rupture or tear it can seal it off similar to a ship sealing off a part in the event of a hull breach.

Crimson is a rather tall woman with attractive facial features, but her beauty is hidden by her rather dark skin which is only a shade away from being black. She has long black sleek hair that glides across her shoulder blades and all the way down to the bottom of her rib cage. Her figure is sleek and nimble, as expected of a mercenary in her line of work, but has the added bulk of her robotic arms. Surgically implanted at the base of her spine is a robotic tail that spans six feet in length.

Personality and Background: Once upon a time Crimson was a mercenary that roamed the galaxy looking for work. Her work mainly consisted of extracting information -- be it from a computer or a person -- and paid very well. However, karma soon came to bite her back. In her endeavors she made a name for herself as a torturer and made many enemies, but not many that could do anything about her violent nature. It wasn't until a past client, a previous Captain of the ASR, had tracked her down and tore the limbs from her body that she decided she needed to work under a flag.

The Carnazir were the first to reach her as she was left bleeding out, the confused party looked at the helpless Voidhanger on the ground, and tended to her wounds swiftly. The cost of repairing her body was hefty, but a price she was willing to pay to continue surviving. For now she flies the Carnazir flag.

Ethereology: Crimson has the two-part ability of Ether Electricity. By harnessing the Ether within her she can then release it as a bolt of lightning which she can sustain if she chooses to do so. The second part of this ability lets Crimson transmute electricity into small items, no bigger than her hand, such as a bullet, a passkey, etc.

Strengths: Survivor, Tough, Friendly, and Good Soldier

Weaknesses: Loner, Heartless, Secretive, and Easily Angered

Starting Weaponry, Armour, and Equipment:

Armor:
  • Armor designed to aid in storing information and keeping it safe. Firstly, the hood of the armor, while retaining its cloth like physics and appearance, contains the cybernetic interface that Crimson uses to hack into most systems autonomously. Acting as a way to hid her identity and protect her face is a faceshield that joins to the sides of this hood. From the hood the material extends across her body to make a hoodie that is neatly sown off at her hips. Her robotic arms jut out from her torso and act as their own armor. From her torso down her armor aligns with more traditional set-ups. This all of course is then highlighted with the signature Carnazir purple with the main color being black.
  • The armor is good at resisting slashes at the chest and can resist some penetration, but it is definitely not its main purpose. In several of the compartments that reside within the "hoodie" are mechanisms meant for storing data and running software to prevent breaches on Crimson's equipment or breach others' equipment. The legs of her armor however are much more sturdy and are just a few bars beneath her arms in terms of protecting her.

  • An electro-magnetic bow that uses ether from its user to form the arrow. The drawstring, that is formed when the two sensors detect a hand grasping, siphons the user of its energy. Depending on the amount of energy siphoned the piercing power of this weapon can grow immensely. The bolt feeds off the ether of its target until it is ripped out or there is no more ether to feed on.

  • Communicators are located inside the pockets of Crimson's hoodie in the form of a touch screen phone and in her ears in the form of a miniature headset.
  • Tail hacking: Crimson can upload her consciousness to directly hack interfaces and manipulate them as if they were physical entities she could throw around. While like this her body falls limp and she cannot hear or see the outside world until she returns.

Skills and proficiencies: Agri-God : This is his trade by blood, forged by his years of learning in college and out in the field. Lewis can ID any kind of flora and fauna out easily, and has their efforts and reactions memorized by heart, more or less because of his job needs. If need be, he can also farm, but I don’t think Simon will have time to become a farmer out in the warzone.

Biochemist : By no means, is Lewis a doctor by trade, but he did have to take other courses that were associated with his job as an agri-scientist. Given that, Simon can scav and strip off basic and intermediate biomods off of most things with ease, making him better than most hack-job biomodders out there. For more advanced biomods, that might prove to be a tough nail for the agri-scientist with his lesser-degree of knowledge and potential tools available. Simon can even make meds and drugs, skills he learned while forced to learn chemistry and then biochemistry in his college years in pursuit of his agriculture degree.

Ph.D in Human and Xeno Nutrition and Health : For Lewis, getting his Doctor of Philosophy in human and xeno nutrition and health, was the easiest degree in relations to his other Ph.Ds that he earned. For what he learned, Simon had the knowledge to figure the daily calorie intake of a person, depending on race first and then height, weight, and a lot of other factors, along with understanding the bodily functions and happenings of both human and xeno, plus a whole heaping of knowledge in relations to the body, health, food, and nutrition.

Pencil-Pusher : Years spent dealing within the state and party apparatus, both in his home-nation and the ASR, has allowed Lewis to understand the standard bureau protcotals, slangs, regulations, and likewise in the ASR and to a lesser degree, the PCL., allowing the man to efficiently navigate his way in the hell known as bureaucracy and state.

Personality and Background: Simon B. Lewis, oftentimes just called Simon or Lewis, is a well-known figure within and throughout the ASR and PCL, referred to as the ‘Happy Potato’ as a nickname for his successful efforts in cultivating thousands of variants of ‘super-potatoes’ across his home-nation, and the ASR as a whole - feeding untold billions upon billions of people. His origins start at his home-planet of Obi, a former backwater planet recently liberated by the Rashid Communist Party in a mass-civil war, lasting for 10 years in total. Simon, who was also 10 with the war’s end, was an uneducated orphan out in the rural farming villages of Obi. Mass starvation found itself across the lands, with infrastructure and agriculture being devastated by the hellish nature of war. Only surviving by the quick timing of ASR aid shipments, Simon had only managed to live by the stroke of luck.

In line with Rashid Communist Party doctrine, programs of all sorts were rolled out to improve the socioeconomic conditions of the people throughout the newly declared nation of the Union of Socialist Solar Republics (USSR), a sizable nation-state spanning many systems somewhat close to the PCL frontier worlds. Back in Obi, illiteracy programs came rapidly with teachers from all over the ASR coming to teach. Simon became quite interested in plants, foodstuffs, and agriculture as a whole for one reason or another. Whatever the case, Lewis told himself one day that he would be a great scientist that would help his nation grow - a dream that one day he did archive, but not today. Fast-forwarding to his young adult years, 18, Simon was already enrolled into college, just finishing his second year, and pushing forward in his studies. By 20, Lewis had earned his first degree in agriculture, finishing college. Soon enough, Simon would pursue higher degrees, while also being out in the field, doing the duties of his new job as an agri-scientist.

Potatoes were, and still is, the most favorite food of Simon. A key reason, plus other factors due to the nature of the potato, for the young man to start research on them for his nation. Given a high position, more or less due to the vacuum of lost talent ten years back in the civil war, Lewis proved himself to be a capable research lead. Months passed, and the Rashid Communist Party found themselves greatly interested in Simon’s work, one for propaganda purposes (propaganda that can be used to promote the Union of Solar Republics in the wider ASR as a prestige boost), and one to feed the growing masses of urbanized workers in the factories and cities. For some context, the Socialist Solar Republics was undergoing rapid industrialization under the guidelines of Five-Year-Plans. By the day, millions were placed into cities, as factory workers, builders, clerks, etc, and those people needed a lot of food to ensure their hard labor continued. For Simon, this was a prime time for his work to pay off.

More resources were given to Lewis for his research, and in due time, Simon would have revealed his progress in the form of a new potato crop. The Ministry of Agriculture gave the potato a test run within the most hellish environment that Obi could offer, and the results were very satisfying for the party. In a short time, Simon was given a small labor title along with a small section dedicated to him in the state newsletter weekly. Yet, Lewis would not be a foot-note in some kind of digital post, and had the will to surpass that. Relocated elsewhere by the Ministry of Agriculture, Lewis was hard at work in creating new potato crops for different planets that he was moved to, successfully adopting the tuber to its new home. With every planet fed, with each new potato successfully grown, the agri-scientist found himself at the forefront of feeding the untold billions of the Union of Socialist Solar Republics.

Now aged to 37, Lewis’s track record and work, made him a national hero of the Union, albeit a lesser known man in the face of other better-known national heroes. Nevertheless, Simon’s work was not done. The Rashid Communist Party needed more soft political power within the wider ASR, and so sent Lewis to other nations within the ASR, aiding them in their agricultural ventures. For the next 11 years, Simon jumped from planet to planet, system to system, nation to nation all through the ASR, feeding people and colonists with his potatoes. To the present day, he still does, but unfortunate events would lead to issues on Caracosa. The civil war, one that was boiling hot, had the fun side effect of throwing him and his whole operation into a precarious state, with the local ASR garrison being overwhelmed by various state and non-state actors, leaving Simon and his sole loyal bodyguard to try to fight their way out of this situation.

Strengths: Orator : Lewis had a way with words, a strength developed throughout his years in the state apparatus of the Solar Socialist Republic and then onward to the ASR as a whole in his latter years. If anyone needs to be convinced, and without being beaten, killed, threatened, etc, then Lewis is your man.

Reader of Peoples : Simon is a talented onlooker for people, able to notice the slightest detail on a person, their behavior, and social clues to reason and determine the true nature of their purpose, whatever that may be.

Weaknesses: Neurological Disorder : A disorder given to him in birth, Lewis’s whole body and hands shake and twitch randomly and violently from time to time - especially making him psychically handicapped, unable to properly pick up cups filled with water, or eat with forks or spoons, etc (greatly limiting the things that he can do psychically).

Ain't No Fighter : This is very simple to understand. He can’t fight for his damn life.

Intransigent : Lewis is fierce Communist, and by that nature, also a socialist, believing the tenants laid out by Marx Karl along with a combination of other socialist/communst thinkers. Not only that, Simon is a well-known humanist, so hurting of anyone without a good reason is a no-go for Lewis.

Skills and proficiencies: Snap Shot : Years of constantly shooting people has allowed Altas to lose little accuracy when switching targets or firing on the move.

CQC Expert : When and if Altas needs to get down and dirty in close quarters combat, she will beat you to a pulp within a few seconds.

Weapon Mastery : No matter the weapon, Altas can quickly adapt to it, and use it with enough skill to make anyone think twice, but she will need proper time in usage to truly master any weapon.

Personality and Background: Somewhere, at some time, within the super-national organization of the ASR, in some bureaucratic apparatus, a project was proposed and accepted - a sleek, fast robot, machine, of the future - something to counteract the weight of the PCL in special operations. Project PIN had the guidelines of featuring the most advanced mechanical and robotic technology that the various nations of the ASR could offer (mainly from the gealtirocht anyhow). The first models would be produced after ten years in development, and would find themselves in special operations after another three years of more testing after the batch production. Only one thousand models have been made in total, given its highly complexity design and cost in rare materials.

Model-700, named Atlas, is the seven hundredth model constructed in the production line. Atlas, for its first assignment, had the task of assisting an ASR-backed anarcho-communist uprising, known as the Orsi Black Army, on the planet of Mon-Sur. From front-line assaults to murder of high-ranking reactionaries and what not, Atlas had her hand full everyday with new duties and tasks to do as demanded by command. Her assignment on Mon-Sur would end after the conclusion of Operation Mouse, a final push into PCL-territory by the Orsi Black Army, in which Altas disconnected and messed with communication subsystems and lines. In the aftermath, Mon-Sur was reorganized into the Mon-Sur Free Territories by the Black Army, albeit with dismay from the ASR, but that’s another story for another time.

After Mon-Sur, Model-700 was relocated to deal with a mass-military mutiny calling themselves the National Self-Defense Union (NSDU), led by Jordan Bourdon (a human supremacist and well-spoken National Socialist) across various worlds affected on the frontier worlds and border with the PCL. After a few months of operations, Altas was given a new job of entering into PCL-space, to a planet called Col-Fut, needing to plant and blow up a series of supply depots that were used as supply-points for the NSDU, along with tracking NSDU and PCL movements throughout the local space-sector. After the logistical sabotage and her efforts on Col-Fut, command gathered enough intel to locate Jordan’s HQ on a Tusmsin, a water world. Model-700 was sent alongside a death squad to kill Jordan, doing so successfully. Atlas was then assigned to the front-lines, battling the NSDU, and then to counter-terrorism after the NSDU conventional forces was taken care of, with the NSDU remaining forces turning to terrorism and guerrilla warfare.

Once the NSDU situation has calmed down in the military sense, Atlas was placed into a political commissar unit, where she had the dirty-work of killing and rooting out the fascists as listed by the political commissars. After that deed was done, Atlas was, once again, relocated, but not to the battlefield or to a special operation, but to guard a VIP known as Simon after a failed assassin attempt on his life. She traveled to Caracosa with Simon, protecting him as is her duty. Once the civil war broke out, with the chaos that it brought onto the nation-state, Atlas had one simple task - protect Simon and get him back to safety.

Personality wise, outside of her military duties and life, Atlas is a laid back person and genuine person. In her downtime, between all the operations and war, she enjoys drawing cutesy comics, things, and foods. She enjoys watching anime of all kinds, mainly dating and romantic ones. For all intent and purposes, she is very much a big weeb. On duty, Altas is an efficient killing machine - dutiful, rigid, strict - a byproduct of her job. She is not easily distracted and is often very focused, determined, impersonal. Off-duty, she is very personal, talks about random shit, and not so focused, doing what she likes on that day. Atlas is also a firm believer in the communist and socialist ideal, sympathetic to the rebels and insurgents she aids.

Strengths: Fast Reactioner : Model-700 is one not to be caught off guard easily and will react very fast to swifting conditions.

Viciousness : Atlas is no stranger to war and violence. Advanced training and programming allows her to access new ways and wants to tear and shoot anyone to death.

Soldier Mentality : Atlas is very single minded in her task, protecting Simon at all costs. Not very good at specific or complex planning either as she is often the one to be given orders to do anything, then be ordering.

Too Complex : Atlas's internal parts and her frame are not cheap, nor are they easy to come by at all. Any Kind of minor repairs might prove to be difficult to do, and more so with major damaged systems and internals.

Personality and Background:
Born to two long term members of the Council of a Path of War compound, Shizuko Kasagi found her calling early. A deep fascination for the martial arts sparked within her from the lessons she was given with the other children of the community, creating a rarity among the polymath Catus: a person dedicated to a single profession.

This proved no problem for the first twenty or so years of her career, but as more and more of her peers were either lost to combat or moved onto different Paths, she found herself facing either a desk job or a position training new cadets. Deciding that she wanted to stay on active combat duty, she instead volunteered to join the PCL special forces pool, working directly with the Human and Scielto forces that made up the majority of the PCL military.

Having now spent just over a decade as a PCL agent, Shizuko has been called back by the Catus government in order to act as a bodyguard for a young doctor who is being sent to Caracosa in order to run field tests of her experimental armor and AI companion, despite strenuously objecting to this apparently non-combat position.

Shizuko can coat her weapons in a sheathe of ether energy, enhancing the cutting edge of her katana or arrows for added anti-armor capabilities, or to turn her katana’s sheath into a cutting weapon for a dual weapon style.

Having spent her entire life either training to be part of or part of the military, Shizuko finds it difficult to empathize or relate to civilians and civilian life.

Self-Minimizing:
If Shizuko was to be believed, every wound is barely a scratch, not sleeping or eating for multiple days is a mild hardship, and she never needs any help with anything.

Up Close and Personal:
Though she may know how to use a sniper rifle or marksman's rifle, Shizuko’s relative lack of practice with and distaste for that style of combat leads her to attempt to close with the enemy whenever possible.

Shizuko emphasizes multiple strikes over power behind any individual strike, preferring to tactically cut opponents down bit by bit; something larger opponents can take advantage of by simply bullying into her space and out-muscling her.

A highly specialized full bodied light weight armor suit, it provides an automatic camouflage system along with keeping thermal and ether signatures to a minimum, with the helmet face visor projecting a HUD for navigation, information collation and dispersal, IFF tracking, alternate view modes, vision magnification, and communications monitoring. Carbon-nanofiber tube chains in the armor make it resilient to high speed force like bullets and help disperse energy along the armor and away from her body. However, she primarily relies on a standard military grade shield emitter to deflect or slow conventional weapons and diffuse energy blasts.

Ranged Weapons:
Mayumi (True bow), Bow and Arrow:
The first piece of craftsmanship that Shizuko ever completed, Mayumi is what the Catus call a “variable weapon”. These weapons are made from a specialized nano-metal capable of remembering a small number of shapes, allowing them to transform when given a trigger. Mayumi’s primary form is a traditional longbow, foldable for attachment to the accompanying quiver for ease of travel, with it’s secondary form being a flexible bo staff.

Akira (Bright and clear dawn), Automatic Crossbow:
A gift from her parents before her first deployment, Akira is Shizuko’s secondary weapon for ranged combat. The crossbow takes magazines of twelve bolts and is capable of semi-automatic or three round burst fire. Collapses down to attach to the back of Shizuko’s belt via magnetic attachment points.

Hand forged by Shizuko, Chinami was made from nano-forged ultra dense metals, with the hilt, guard, and blade all part of the same continual piece so that there is no joint to provide a weakness. The edge has been given an extremely high frequency vibration system so that it can cut through thickened armor without losing it’s sharpness.

The secondary form of Shizuko’s bow Mayumi, used for non-lethal combat. She can fix her katana onto the end of the staff with a series of magnetic attachments in order to combine the two weapons into a naginata.

Anti-personnel flashbangs: Devices that when triggered emit a combination of heat, light, sound, and EMP in an approximately five meter sphere in order to overwhelm the senses and sensors of infantry. Can be recharged with access to electricity.

Arrows: Carbon nanofiber shafts and fletchings provide strength with flexibility and high levels of accuracy, well vibro-metal arrowheads give them excellent armor piercing capability.

Bolts: High density metal shafts with carbon nanofiber fletchings and a vibro-metal bolt tip act to pierce armor, with an ether shrouding that will discharge once entering the target, providing an explosive effect. If successfully retrieved from the target, the ether shrouding can be recharged by channeling ether into the jacket battery in the shaft.

She feels for those in pain and doesn't have much of a stomach for killing when she doesn't have to. She considers ruthless tactics to be unnecessary and often finds conflict with those who treat combat as a reason to do so.

Young:
She is a young doctor fresh out of training and has limited experience in field operations. It isn't that she can't lead, but more that she has little idea on how to do so outside of a medical environment.

Close Quarters:

Ether Batteries:
Her body has batteries stored within it to house ether and keep her body balanced in terms of ether. It either absorbs excess either until capacity or feeds ether into her to keep her from becoming drained of it.

Ether Factory:
Her last main 'weapon' if one can call it that would be her ability to convert carbs, lipids and proteins into ether as well. She can use it to charge her main batteries up or to create nanobots composed of ether to deliver her spells which would require touch at range.

Main Weapon:
Dual Converters:
A generator that absorbs kinetic energy to convert it to electrical energy. This comes from strikes by her or made to her. Movement generates this also, but to a lesser extent than opposing forces meeting. The converted electricity is then fed into a second converter that turns the electricity into ether.

HUD Enhanced Painting System:
Nanobots are shot at any enemy, spreading from a hardened capsule. Any allies she is interfaced with would have the benefit of targets being painted by her nanobots in both infrared and ether sights.

Sometimes you just want to smack something and hear a satisfying zap. She does especially and has a quarterstaff that when striking an enemy also generates a jolt of electricity through whatever the head impacts. It can break off into two single handed weapons when necessary.
