Premise:
3982 AD
The Terran Kingdom has enveloped the entire solar system within its grasp.
From Mercury to Neptune, colonization has pushed humanity to ever-greater heights.
On Mars, a vicious war has erupted. The other worlds look on in silence as the red planet is torn apart.
Nowhere is the chaos more deadly than on Elysium, an island that contains vast natural resources.
The Liberators, led by Aelani Sirach, fight to separate Mars from the Terran Kingdom.
The Scarlet Crown, the faction which embodies loyalists, are led by Prince Razoux.
While numerous towns are destroyed, a band of survivors must traverse the Martian landscape.
Their destination? Providentia, a safe haven for refugees.
As the conflict grows, they will have to work together to live another day.

Author's Note:
For those looking for more information, this RP is like a road-trip in the distant future. The characters have come from many backgrounds, and each have had their lives greatly affected by the war. This is less about clashing armies and more about the civilian story. Should you join, expect to deal with supply shortages, storms, brigands, ambushes, a hostile terrain, alien life forms, and other dangers.
Our characters will start their long and treacherous journey in Amazonum, a backwater farming colony that winds up in the middle of a bombing run. Whether they be a merchant, a veteran, a medic, or something else, they have few opportunities to escape the violence. Many civilians are drafted into the opposing armies by force, or simply killed on the spot.
This RP is also a prequel to The Interregnum of Sol. As they take place in the same universe, I recommend taking a look at the previous iteration to better understand the lore. New ideas are always welcome for those who might be interested.
