My kids giving me a hug when they know I'm stressed out, especially my oldest daughter who's a teenager and thinks she no longer needs her mother. :(

Guh... this reminds me when I go visit my parents, I must give them oodles of hugs.

I've forgotten to add that sleep is also something I massively enjoy. I try not to do it too much because you know... life, but still; settling into your bed with the cool side of the pillow is just... the best.

I'm not sure why, but this photo always brings a smile to my face every time I see it. Is it simply his stoic expression juxtaposed with the silly tambourine hat? Is it the fact that he looks like he's engaged in a conversation, listening intently to what the other person has to say without even drawing attention to said tambourine, carrying on like nothing's wrong? Is it the fact that the tambourine's so subtle and he wears it so well that you almost don't even notice it at first? Whatever the case, I absolutely love it.
