Sure, he was hardly the imposing figure that he had once been, but even as a scrap of his former self, he was certain that he could bludgeon any and all takers to death, should the need arise. However, there was certainly a good chance that this was all pride and bluster, something that Joric wasn't aware he was prone to, though that was to be expected. He came from a proud race of men, and among them he was a well placed member of a respected family, so it was hardly surprising that he was a victim of a little arrogance.
