The Lion King:
Scar's Reign.

"What is Simba had never come back after his father died? What if he had stayed gone, and Scar remained in power? "

The pridelands are in ruin. The land is dry, the watering hole is small, and most of the food has left to find better lands. The only days they don't have such hardships are during the rainy season. This is the story of those who have been abandoned by their true king. The pridelanders are stuck with outlanders and hyenas. Together, will they continue enduring these terrible conditions, or will they manage to convince Scar to leave and find better land? Only the Great Kings of the Past will know..

Rules:​

• There may be both original characters (Such as Zira, Nuka, Kovu, Scar, ect.) And OC's.
• Romance is allowed, but obviously no smut. This is basically a Disney RP, so keep it PG.
• KEEP CURSING AT A MINIMUM. I know most of us curse in real life, and in roleplays so it's hard not to. But try, please.
• Ask before killing someone's character, please.
• If you don't like someone, don't let it effect your roleplay. Keep it private.
• 1-4 Characters per person. (I like playing quite a few for lion king, but they are mostly cubs so that's why.. It's, uh... Such a high number... Yeah xD)

Bio: Kovu doesn't remember much of his first pride. He remembered a fight breaking out in the pride and his mother forcing him to hide in a crack inside a rock. He hadnt seen her again till he next day, and he had been asking for his father but his mother just quietly picked him up and walked away from the caves they had called home for so long. On there own, Kovu had hid a lot during the day while his mother hunted so he was on his own often. She had taught him to fight and hunt. The night they reached the prodelands he remembers a male lion with a dark main finding him and Kovu told him his mother was out hunting. The two were excepted, but certainly not with open arms at first. Kovu spends his times either on his own or playing with the kings child, Vitanni. Or he spends an unusually large amount of time with Scar, who gives him advice on how to run the pride when he is gone.

Bio: Ever since she was young, Amira had been betrothed to her previous prides future King, Ahmi. There were many suitors for the next King, but her mother was manipulative and convinced the king to have Amira be the future queen. As she grew, she was conditioned and trained to became Ahmi's mate and the two ran the pride peacefully for a while. But a lion had wanted other things. The king and queen had a cub Kovu, and not long after the pride fought each other, killing nearly everyone. Amira left with Kovu and the two eventually made there way to the Pridelands. Amira lived there for only a short time when Scar had told her he wanted to use Kovu to be his future heir. She trains her son for greatness, while trying to replace Zira as queen.

Sharlila

Father is unknown.
Bio: Sharlila was born within the Pridelands around the same time Nala was born. The two were very close at first, playing whenever she wasnt with Simba or even being able to join in the play with them. Though the two drifted apart after Scar gave the news of his brother and nephews death. Sharlila was often on her own or with her mother, who had fallen I'll shortly after the bad days started coming in. And not long after that, Nia died. Sharlila was a teen when it hapoened, so she could survive pretty well on her own then. Though she doesn't like how the lands are now, she has no confidence to speak up and tell Scar about the conditions and keeps silent. Sharlila is no longer very social and is very shy, she has been ever since her mothers death.

Azra

Bio: Everyone knows Azra was born before Zira had met Scar, so there is no point in her trying to claim Azfa is his daughter despite the similarities the two may have. When Azra was first born, she was cheerful and happy. But being Zira's first born child she had trained the girl hard to be a fighter and a killer. Azra's childhood spent playing was short and as soon as she could successfully pounce her hard training began. From the training, she had gained a negative personality where she is cruel to the pridelanders and has little patience for them. The same goes for her sisters. Her sisters have gained a better and happier childhood than she has, which causes her to be jealous of the cubs, but still tolorent because she is loyal to family. The one singling she shows the most affection towards would be Nuka, because he isn't like the others and people treat him as such. She has a soft spot for her brother and is always extra patient and kind towards him. And as for Zira, Azra practically loves to impress her and worships her mother despite the training Zira put her through that could be concidered abuse. And because she had always looked up to her mother, Azra is a lot like her in many ways. And as for her feelings towsrds Kovu, she hates the cub. Not only because he will be king, but because he is so cocky and laid back. She always has a desire to whip him into shape.

Ashur had met Aleela when he was just a cub, his parents were friends with there parents and they would always play together, as Ashur gotten older, he started to notice that he loved her, so when he told her he loved her, she loved him back and ended up having a small cub, naming her Ashanti. But one day when they were trying to find a new place to live, they were captured by hunters and stuck in cages. Ashur found a way out of the cages and got his cousin Bakari out, Ashanti out and Aleela. When they escaped Aleela ended up getting shot and was killed, he was going to help her when Aleela told them to go and take care of Ashanti.

Bakari was made fun of by other lions, but Ashur would always back him up and be his only friend, as they got older Ashur had to be more mature and watch him from doing anything bad, as a cub when Bakari would like to hunt innocent animals Ashur would stop him, he would tell him that it was just an innocent animal but Bakari would always see them as food. When they escaped the hunters they found a new pride and stayed there were he became a loyal lion to Scar.

Ever since Kamari was young, he has wanted to meet his father, every time he would ask his mother where he is, she would not answer or say she doesn't know, he never had a male to look up to, so he would always feel different from the other lion cubs who looked up to there fathers. Adia and Kamari lived in a pride where there were a lot of lions, they loved it there till a group of hunters came and killed most of the lions there, so from there they heard of pridelands and decided to go there because they heard it was beautiful and had a lot of lions there also.

Bio:
When Kivuli was born, her mother passed away, she never knew her, nor did her father, Scar, ever talk about her. She holds a strong love and immense loyalty to her father, not caring about what he has done to the Pridelands. Honestly, she is perfectly happy living with the hyenas, they are a little funny to her, Shenzi is her favorite. Very few have contested her claim as a princess and the next in line for the throne, if Kovu were to die or fall out of Scar's favor. Kivuli has always loved fighting, she picks a fight with most of the other cubs, usually teaming up with Vitani. She and Vitani are like sisters and she thinks Nuka is really silly and funny, but she completely despises Zira. As far as Kovu goes, she has no idea why Scar likes him so much, it completely confounds her, but she tries to be nice to him because her father insists. The reason behind her hatred towards Zira is due to how often Zira flirts with her father and acts like she is Scar's one, true mate. The scars on her body are all from fights, many of them from Zira getting angry at her for her smart mouth and attacking her, normally Scar would interfere, scolding Zira as if she were nothing more than a cub.

Vitani was born to Zira, not knowing who her father is, though Zira insists that it is Scar, which is impossible and everyone knows it. She has always teased her older brother Nuka, and shows no signs of stopping. While she enjoys mocking others, she tends to get along really well with Kivuli, though there is no real reason why. As far as who her real father is, her mother has absolutely no intention to reveal who it is. She has always had a tough time trying to keep calm in most situations, she has even snapped at her mother once for attacking Kivuli and almost started a fight with Zira. She does spend a fair amount of time with Kovu, though she finds him a little strange. Spending time with Kovu makes her mother happy, and Vitani believes that Zira wants her to be Kovu's mate, but she never will, that would just be plain weird to her.

Bio:
Amminifu was born to Kongwe along with her sister Dunia, their father is assumed to be Mufasa, the late king. She has always been a shy and kind cub, she just barely got more brave as she got older. Her sister has almost always been there for her, though her mother and sister have expressed their dislike of her choice to call herself a Pridelander, even if the pride was now just lions and hyenas. It was not long after she became a teen that Scar expressed his own dislike of her, but she mostly ignores the dislike of any lions around her. Her sister still takes care of her mostly, especially since Aminifu has always been more emotionally fragile than other lions in the pride.

Having been born after Scar had taken over the Pridelands, his mother kept on boasting about how she and his father helped Scar become the next king. Even though they bragged about this, they also complained, when none of the pride was around, about how irritating and vile the lions were, but they did not seem that way to Matata. His uncle, not really his uncle though, Ed, was one of the weirdest hyenas he had ever met, heck, he was unsure if he actually was a hyena. But, Matata actually gets along with the cubs in the pride, though his mother despises that. Thankfully, both his parents let him spend time with the lions to come back home and report to his mother about what had happened during the time he spent with the lions.​

Ramona came from a not very nice family, they were often physically abusive and sometimes even emotionally but thanks to her Aunt, Sauda who often helped and comforted her through those hard times and acted as a second mother to her.
Though one night, she was woken up by Sauda whom urged her to follow her out away from the pride in which Ramona did and her Aunt lead her to the pridelands. Though on that same day Sauda went hunting and did not come back and Ramona was left to her own devices and eventually wonder into Scar's pride.

She was born into these very lands, not long before Scar's rise to power. Due to her appearance, she is often assumed to be Scar's daughter but of course denies that. Her mother ran away when she was a adolescent to hopefully get help for the pride and she was left behind to help the remaining pridelanders in hopes that they'd be alive once a better, much kinder king rises to power but sadly that doesn't seem to be the case though she still sticks around to watch over the cubs. And is slowly stopped hiding the fact her real father is Scar.

And actually had a bit of a crush on Simba and was devastated when Scar announced the apparent death of Mufasa and Simba and it didn't help that Nala ran away and the lands slowly became a wasteland, her mother fell deathly ill and passed away when she was a teen in which Tama decided to run away and live on her own for a short time before returning to the pridelands in hopes that she can find someway to help the pride.

Bio:
Hasira's mother, Quasar is the current advisor for the matriarch Shenzi, since Shenzi gave birth to a male hyena Matata Hasira is considered next in line to be matriarch unless Shenzi decides to have another litter and hopefully has a female but that seems highly unlikely, so currently Hasira is the heir to the hyenas. Hasira is not a big fan of lions unsurprisingly and hates the idea of being loyal to Scar but keeps it to herself for now at least, though it doesn't mean hasn't befriended a few lions such Nuka and Barika. She also seems to follow Matata around quite often.

When Simba never returned, Scar was overjoyed and took over the pridelands, ruling with an iron fist paw. It didn't take him long to take a mate and father various cubs, however, he had mostly daughters and one son, who wasn't suitable to be his heir. Nuka was physically scrawny and had abstract dreams that Scar couldn't understand, so when Kovu and his mother entered the scene, Scar was delighted.

Bio: When Nuka was born, there wasn't much fanfare despite the fact that he was Scar's first born son. Nuka was born small and malnourished. And as he grew it was apparent that he would remain small. He couldn't take the training that his mother tried to force upon him, and after awhile he began to be overlooked by his father. Scar never physically abused him or attempted to kick him out of the pride, but he didn't treat him like an heir. In Scar's eyes, since Nuka didn't look the part of a true king, he would never be one. Zira, however still pushed her son to take charge, and her urging became even worse when Kovu entered the scene. Nuka hated being near his mother because of how harsh she was with him and he began spending time on his own, with Kivuli or with Barika.
Kovu's entrance into the pride, unnerved Nuka for awhile, but since his father had already cast him to the side, he wasn't that bothered, mainly because his dream was to create his own pride and show his father how strong he really is.

Barika was born around the time Nuka was, and although her parents didn't exactly want her to be close to the other lion, Barika managed to become best friends with Nuka. She was one of the only lions that didn't treat him like some sort of pride leper and she also supported him in his goal to create his own pride.

Bio:
Tendaji came to the pridelands a few months after Zira first came. He was believes to have been dead, but when she saw that he was alive and well, Zira was very pleased to see him. She asked Scar to accept him into the pride and he did. At first Tendaji was hesitant to live in the pride, but he was willing to do anything to make his aunt, his mother's sister, as happy as possible so he stayed. He's a bit of a bully and an elitist who picks on those he deems weak, which includes Nuka and most cubs.
