Many eons ago, there was a band of beings who existed within the Ethereal Realm. Despite the fact they didn't have physical bodies, they held a tremendous amount of power. Among the many beings, it was decided that life had to begin and with the combined might of their powers, the universe began. Stars, planets, systems, and all the above were created and as the universe cooled, a new home was formed. Earth. Air, trees, flowers, and large rock formations were created; a home for them to watch. As the years passed, Earth, despite being one of their greatest creations, didn't have much to it. While it could keep itself maintained, there was no one there to keep the plants from growing out of control. The waters were empty, the land was barren of sound and the skies were silent. Curiously, the Creators thought about what they could do to liven up their new home when a curious young Creator got an idea.
She hovered over the ground and started working. Using clay, water, and essence, she created small creatures who would use the land, sea, and sky. Once they were done, she showed them off to the rest of the Creators. The others found them interesting and the Creators started making creatures both big and small based on her template, creating a balance of predators and prey. From there, animals were born. Many moons later, the animals had covered the Earth. The sky, the land, and the sea were filled with life and sound echoed all over the world. The Creators were happy and were no longer alone in their new home. While it was sad to see some of the animals die or were killed off, it was the way it had to be. However, the Creators wanted to become one with their home. Actually, mingle with the animals and it was hard to do when they didn't have bodies of their own. Using the animals didn't work out too well since they weren't strong enough to withstand the power they held. It wasn't until one of the Elder Creators got an idea.
He hovered over the ground and formed a paradise for the animals to reside in and help flourish. He bent the will of life around as a wondrous garden was created, the other Creators were astonished by the creation that others followed suit. Seven of the Elder Creators chose their spots and formed their own homes, creating gorgeous landscapes with the animals to thrive. One of the Elders converted himself into a pathway so that the animals were able to travel more efficiently to the Afterlife. It would be long until names and titles were given to the eight Elders. They were to be the leaders of their kind and of the Earth. Their names were Eden of the Great Garden and Forest, The Hanging Gardens of the Sacred Flowers, Atlantis of the Great Oceans and Seven Seas, Camelot of the Great Castles and Bringer of Legends, Stonehenge the Messenger and Keeper of the Channels, Nexus the Traveler and Connector of the Spirit Realm, Mount Fuji of the Burning Mountain and Great Preserver, and Mount Olympus of the Heavenly Sky.
The Creators scattered to different corners of the world, creating their own paradises for the animals and watched them coexist with one another. This made the Creators happy, but they wanted to create something a bit more complex. While the animals made great company, the Earth wasn't being used to its fullest potential. Two of the Creators came together and started creating something. Using clay and some essence from the other elements, two complex beings were created. The two Creators showed the others, showing the amount of patience needed to make such complex creatures. The Creators each made their own using different forms of clay when they finally came up with a name for them. Humans. The new and curious humans were placed with Eden so they could live off the fruit and animals there before venturing off on their own to claim their own lands. While the humans were within Eden, exploration was allowed, but they were boundaries that had to be obeyed. The rules were followed for decades when two very curious humans ventured farther into Eden's home.
Upon discovery, they found two trees the humans were never supposed to know about. The Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge. Because of the large Ethereal crystals, the Tree of Life could not be touched or approached without feeling like they were getting burned. But the Tree of Knowledge remained exposed and untouched. That is until one of the humans placed a hand on the golden yellow orb dangling from a branch, exposing them to information and things they were not ready for. Furious by the betrayal of the two humans, they were banished from his home and sent to the Gate of Hell. From there, the humans were made an example of, showing what would happen if the rules were disobeyed.
The humans grew to fear the Creators, often staying on their best behavior or flinched when the punishment was brought up. Eden felt horrible for what happened and believed he went too far with the punishment. He asked for the humans to be returned and healed completely as Eden made a promise to never do it again by growing an Everlasting Flower. The humans forgave him, but never let go of their fear. After a few years, all the humans left Eden, believing It was time to explore the marvelous world created by the Creators. Eden and the others watched the human grow into a much smarter species.
