(No worries. Things happen.)

Luna stretched and continued to work on making cookies. She was glad that the two were getting to what they planned on doing. The smell of cookies was starting to fill the house as she worked on cooking.

Within the library, the two quickly got to work on separate tasks: Johnathan looked up the history of this place while keeping on eye on any entries related to Allen's magic. Allen looked up some spells he felt comfortable re-creating - to which was a resounding success. There was something...different about this library. Quite a few of the spells seem to resonate on a much deeper level than normal.

It seemed that magic like Allen's was occasionally documented, not even that rare. It usually occurred with those that were sensitive to magic that lived among them. It usually signified that the citizen had high magical capabilities and we're usually made scholars and more or less became important figures taken on by their strongest mages and we're taught how to control their power. However there were lots of pages missing about the most prominent figures, they'd been carefully removed.....

Johnathan noticed the slight inconsistency as he looked through the books. Pages were removed, a few names blotted out here and there but it did paint quite a picture. It seemed that Allen's case of magic was very important to the hierarchy and were often regarded as very gifted individuals. At this point in time, he could easily see why: Deciding to take a break for a moment, he went to go check on Allen's progress and what he saw when he got there surprised him.

In Allen's hands were three baseball-sized orbs of violent but somehow holy energy that were slowly spinning. When he asked Allen what spell that was, Allen only responded with: "Megidolaon. Believe it or not, I'm hardly controlling this. From my readings, it's a spell that compacts the holy energy within it then well....boom."

When Allen canceled the spell, he was slightly winded. The effects of canceling the spell early sort of reminded him of whenever he had to use Banish Strike - another holy(?) spell that leaves him winded after use.

Luna soon had a lot of cookies made and sat down to relax. Her legs were kinda hurting now. For now she'd just relax and wait for the guys.

The two of them got back to searching after a brief break. Most of the info found was just the same as before and Allen found a few good spells here and there but then Allen found something in an old book that fell off of a shelf. "Hm?" He picked up the book and took a quick look at it. It had no title but what confused Allen was the magic symbol on the first page. Thinking that Luna would want to see this to hopefully translate the symbol - which honestly felt like a seal of sorts - He pocketed the book and went over to Johnathan.

Johnathan was just finishing up skimming through another book which referenced something that was sort of haunting to him. He was really glad that he sealed the library away because that specific book in the wrong hands will....well, let's not just think of that for now.

Luna was munching on a warm cookie by the time they got back. She looked relaxed as they came in. The whole house smelled of cookies.

The two men returned and were greeted by the smell of cookies which made them smile. With the idea of putting their thoughts on their findings on hold to enjoy some good cookies. While eating one, Allen had the thought to try a spell he read about but decided to save it for later.

Luna looked over and smiled at them. "Hey you guys! There's cookies here. Most should be cool, feel free to eat some." she said warmly.

Johnathan nodded, seeing Allen already made his way over there and ate a few. It seems that their minds were on their findings and needed something to distract them from it. Luckily for them, the cookies seem to be doing that job.

Luna couldn't help but giggle. She was glad that everyone was enjoying the cookies. As they sat there she seemed relaxed, not really knowing what they'd been reading. It wasn't like there was anything she needed to worry about in there.

As the two of them were eating, Johnathan stopped for a moment. "Speaking of such, a good few of the books I read had cooking recipes." It was an odd find yes, but a welcomed one to relieve some situational tension.

Luna smiled and laughed a bit. "That doesn't suprise me. There's a lot of books in there. Maybe we should give some of them a try some time." She smiled, feeling relaxed and pretty happy. It was nice and relaxed as they sat there.

Johnathan nodded, thinking about the recipes that could be done at some in the future. Although he loved to travel, he also liked tasting different foods from different cultures as well.

Luna smiled and started to put some of the cookies on a big plate. She wanted to be sure the children got cookies too, after all that was the whole reason for her making so many. Her mind started to wander, just thinking about how peaceful everything could be.
