Sure!

So Diego and Kauri used to be a thing, like wildly, madly in love with each other. They originally met when Diego was sent on a mission to hunt down a cult to his mother, the bride of the Dark Lord who was posessed by a servant of an evil goddess. They kidnapped Kauri and tried to make her a host of that spirit, Diego killed them all and saved her, they fell in love, yadda yadda, this whole time Kauri has had a tie to the evil posesed servant spirit that's still clawing at her body and it's being held off by a potion made by one of Diego's alchemist buddies that she keeps in her locket, and she's running out of potion.
