It ended mostly because Kauri's father was against it as Diego's parentage is kinda an open secret, even with his Hawkonen upbringing, he's still the son of the dark lord

For context with what I just did:

-Diego is not magically talented by any means, but he is the son of the dark lord, giving him some innate power
-None of the candies on the table are actually infused with the magic of a Direwolf. Diego can handle a bit of dark magic for the reason stated above. The magic did affect him, but he more or less just tanked it.
-"Alurainian Delight" is Turkish Delight
-I will not reveal Diego's scheme, but I will say that he barely has one. He has a few concepts and a goal, nothing more

also some notes:
"Direwolf Magic" is a curse similar to lycanthropy

Whenever I speak about Diego's senses, I mean quite literally. He has supernatural senses. More will come with his character sheet when I finish it.

House Hawkonen are the only ones who can wield the magic of The Wingblade and have built a cultural identity around it. They're a Fantasy Viking-like clan, but Diego himself is from a part of the world similar to Spain.

Princess Kauri and King Erdominus can be controlled by nearly everyone, just no permanent character changes (ie: getting in a relationship, death, serious injury, etc) without my permission

Anyone can include Diego in their interactions and write for him, but I will slightly edit the events and dialogue when I write his PoV
