The standard way would be to open the chest first.

Name: Asen Galitan
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Appearance: Handsome. I will just start right there. Asen is handsome. Defined jawline, dark brown hair, near black eyes, a soft, gentle smile to warm the heart of a lady if she's not yet dead or dying. But yet, Asen finds comfort in hiding his face with a hood as much as he possibly can. He wears the lightest armor he could find, because for a young man he's actually rather small [5'8"], and keeps his weapon in a sheath on his belt.

Personality: Asen's a really sweet guy. While in battle he keeps a very straight face, and tries hard not to let people in, he can't help but put his trust in someone too quickly. He believes everyone has a bit of good in them, even the worst, because chaos does not exist without peace and light. Peace is a .. far off concept. And even though Asen's father urged him to rid those silly, happy-pappy thoughts, Asen holds onto them, his last bit of comfort in this chaos ruled world.

He never seems to learn that not everyone is good, even if they look it. And he tries to put on a tough face, but he's horrid at it. He's just a little kid inside.

Bio: Asen grew up with his father, a well known hunter, Riskan Galitan. He was a brave, strong man, who many looked up too and had high hopes for his son. His mother died just days after his birth, the plague taking her life just like it had taken so many others. This hardened his father, becoming more of a war machine than a man. But it was all Asen ever knew, so he tried to get used to it. But Asen was a sensitive young boy, near nothing like his strong father, and it didn't help him out much.

But it didn't matter to Riskan. Asen would be taught the ways of the hunter if he was a cripple. And taught he was. Day and night, he practiced fighting techniques, studied past plagues, and was taught strategies to fight new ones. Despite his dislike for it, Asen was a prodigy. But he was never good enough for his father.

But even the greats can fall.

The wolf plague was new at the time - Asen was to stay behind. But his father never came back, and Asen only found blood.

It didn't.. tear him apart as much as it should've, and it haunts Asen, knowing that he didn't grieve like a good son.

Yet, he carried on. Just like his father would have wanted.

Class: Cutter
Chaos Weapon: Sword > Axe
The top half of the blade is curved and there;s a hinge in the middle. When you activate it the hinge swings the curved part around and locks the tip into the hilt. This creates a short, curved blade like an axe.
Armour: Breaking the mold a little bit, Asen wears very thin metal plated armor, on only his chest, kneecaps, thighs, and forearms. He also has a metal mask to pull up over his face in combat. If it were up to Asen, he would wear leather, but his father wore metal so Asen would too.
Magic: NatureeeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Other Equipment: A dagger stashed away in his boot in case of emergencies. Ruck sack with food, water, roll of bandages, and rope.

Trivia: His father gave him a silver necklace when he was a boy - just a very simple yet beautiful silver pendant which Asen never takes off.

Asen found a wolf pup a few years ago, it's family killed off by the plague, and he took it in. Kasir is now a loyal companion to Asen, fighting by his side and providing him comfort and company.
