Hey gang! Thanks for expressing interest in this RP. For any of you who didn't see the initial interest check, I highly recommend you check it out. The link is above. The basic idea is you are a part of a secret worldwide agency dedicated to defending earth from any and all threats, be they nations threatening to nuke each other or aliens scouting out our solar system. In this scenario, demons have been unleashed upon earth, waging a massive war that is sure to lead to the destruction of mankind if something isn't done. You, as an elite agent of the World Security Association (WSA), have been summoned by the agency's leader for a special campaign in which you will use all of earth's resources to defend vital countries, fight crucial battles, and, at all costs, save the world. You will command armies, fight in intense battles, and do your best to push back the forces of hell. Armed with supernatural powers, top-tier technology, and your inherent skills as a secret operative, you may just stand a chance.

This is the OOC and character signup for this RP. You may ask questions here or DM me, talk to your fellow roleplayers, and, of course, post your character sheets. I will also be adding information about the world as the next day or so passes and will do my best to answer any questions you may have.

So here's the deal with demons: they're around eight feet tall. Most have red skin and curled black horns. Those are your average run of the mill footsoldier demon. Then there are grey demons or demon captains. They're harder to kill, are more powerful, can possess humans, and are taller, at ten feet. Finally, black demons, the elite of the army and quite skilled at mental manipulation. They resemble human females and have wings. Also known as succubuses. All demons are armed with demon blades, strange weapons that allow the demons to teleport over short distances, and seem to be the source of their power. They are capable of slicing through steel, flesh, just about anything. Many demons have also been seen using human weaponry, and as they take over country after country, their arsenal only grows.

The leaders of the demonic forces are called demon lords. These are extremely powerful beasts standing at around twelve to twenty feet tall that are capable of destroying armies with one swing of their blade. Not a single one has died thus far, and no one is sure how to slay them. Most demons can be killed with a well placed shot to the head or heart. But the demon lords? Mortal weapons have no effect on them, and they are wreaking havoc throughout the world. The greatest of them all is called Apollyon, the First One, and he has compelled many humans to worship and serve him as their god. He recently invaded America, overthrew the president, and declared himself the First Demon President of the United States. Notable other demon lords are: Lucifer, Beelzebub, Azazel, Leviathan, Abaddon, Ammon, Sloth, and Tubal-Cain.

Demons have also started enslaving humans, poisoning them with their blood and turning them into mindless slaves who serve as workers, soldiers, and even snacks. The WSA is fearful of this, as this means the demons aren't just out trying to rape and pillage for fun. They have a mission: enslave mankind, and kill anyone who tries to stop them. Demon blood is incredibly potent and if ingested can give one incredible power, yet at a cost. Most people are driven to insanity, or even possessed by the demon whose blood they drank. It is thus a risky business to willingly drink demon blood, but it may be worth the risk if handled correctly.

So yeah, if you guys have any more questions about demons, ask below. There are a few other ways to kill them that will be revealed in the RP, but this is basically what you need to know for now. Thanks again for expressing interest!

I'm going to say at the outset here that I soo appreciate a short character sheet. I'd rather find things out through encounter and discovery. I"m also assuming hat it is entirely possible that none of our characters have every worked together before, since they would have been stationed throughout the world. Correct me if I'm wrong on that note please. Also..this is one of my favorite characters..one of the very first I ever role played and have been playing ever since so YAY for an rp where I can pull him out! (Also, I promise that he's not OP in spite of his bio. He hasn't aged much though...so if that's a problem let me know...I've never specifically said he was immortal, just that he's aging very slowly...)

Personality: Stubborn, fiercely loyal

Appearance : See above. He has a thick scar on his left side just below his rib cage that he has never explained or spoken of to anyone.

History: Son of a Scottish lass and a god of Olympus that he has never seen or met.

Nationality: Scottish

Powers/Tech of choice : He is fast, strong and very slowly heals himself. Its not like Wolverine fast though so he could and does suffer fatigue and needs recovery time from major wounds. His speed is his most often used and abused power though.

Other : He has never been able to give up his sword or his kilt.

To answer your question, you are correct. Most of our agents will not have worked with one another before, unless they were stationed in the same sector. So someone who was in China and someone in Japan would at least know of one another. And thanks for being a fan of short character sheets! It's always nice not having to read eight paragraphs of someone's backstory that hardly ever comes into play. Your character will work very nicely, and I'm always a fan of having a demigod around.

Personality: friendly, easy going, gets along well with others.
Appearance (see above) he has white bird like wings, he has a muscular build, 6'2", light brown hair, blue eyes.
History: Kane' s history is full of missing centuries. He can clearly remember being at certain places in history like the parting of the red sea, the crusades, witnessing the plague. His more recent memory is a massive earth quake that happened in San Francisco in 1989. He was found and picked up by an organization and has been working with them ever since.

Powers/Tech of choice: flight - uses massive bird like wings to fly. Lightning creation/manipulation - can create lightning and manipulate it however he pleases. Michael's sword - a sword he was found with has the name Michael etched into the handle. Has it strapped to his back but rarely uses it. Cleansing light - this is Kane's Ace move, he draws all the power from his body and emits a pure white light from his body that purified everything in a quarter mile radius. This move leaves Kane exhausted, can only be used once in a while.

@Kurogane86 Your character is perfect! Just please put under nationality what chapter/sector he works in so we have an idea of what agents he'd be familiar with and whatnot. For a reminder, sectors are the seven continents, and chapters are the individual countries within the sectors.

WSA HIERARCHY

Head Maestro- J. Harvard. Enigmatic man, wears sweatpants and hoodie, cowboy hat, drinks wine. Leader of the WSA, has been in charge for over a century. The Head Maestro is gifted with the waters of the Fountain of Youth, so as to remove the stress of upcoming old age so he can focus on leading the WSA. If he is found to be incapable of leadership, the Council will execute him and his Premier Associate and he will be replaced by a member of the Council and their Imminent Viceroy. The Head Maestro makes sure all tasks voted on by the Council are carried out. In the event that a decision is passed that he disagrees with, he can overrule it and send it back to the Council for further discussion. In times of great distress, he can declare himself Supreme Maestro and for a period of time determined by the Premier Associate, may rule and make decisions without deliberation from the Council.

Premier Associate- Bruce, a talking dog. Bruce was formerly a human whose psyche was transported to a British Bulldog fifty years ago so as to keep him alive following a classified incident involving alien forces. The Premier Associate is the second in command of the WSA, and the Head Maestro’s top adviser. Usually, the Premier Associate presides over the Council, as it is too dangerous for the Head Maestro to appear in public. The Premier Associate is extremely powerful, and is privy to all secrets the Head Maestro is. Also immortal. Head of the Council. Doesn't vote on Council, simply makes sure the ideals of the Head Maestro are carried out.

Council Members- James Hobbes, Zeus Mugamba, Violeta “Scar” Bonchini, Joao du Firmino, Hidetoshi Kira, Alvin Clark, and the Duke of Antarctica. These are the seven council members who represent the seven sectors of the WSA and all the miscellaneous chapters within these sectors. They are extremely powerful individuals who all have some sort of supernatural ability. All are immortal. Each has assigned to them an Imminent Viceroy, young agents who are deemed to be the best of the next generation. The Council votes on different matters and takes them to the Premier Associate, who passes them on to the Head Maestro, who deals with their decisions and enacts them. Should the Council vote that the Head Maestro is unfit to rule, they must storm his quarters and execute him and his Premier Associate. Council Members rarely leave their position, and only do so when they choose to or when voted out. If this occurs, their memories are wiped.

Imminent Viceroys- seven young people who go by their first name so as to maintain secrecy. They are the eyes and ears of their masters, the Council Members, and carry out their orders, do research, and take care of any issues too small to command interest from the Council Members. Imminent Viceroys can be changed at will, but must have their memories wiped upon leaving their position.

Chapter Leaders- top agents who are in charge of chapters, which may include one to ten nations in a particular continent. They report to the Council Members. They are in charge of managing the agents on a personal, hands on level. They can be replaced as necessary, and do not have to have their memories wiped upon exit.

Viceroys- special agents who serve secretly in the governments of certain nations as spies. Often use bribery, persuasion, and intimidation to handle issues of a national level within the country or help ensure things that are beneficial toward the security of the world are enacted. The best of the best agents are often in this position.

Agents- your everyday man of action, they are still incredibly skilled and often gifted in unknowable ways. Can do anything from assassinate someone to steal some important documents to free people from prison. Recruited from top agencies around the world. Usually based in country of origin. Belong to Chapters, led by Chapter Leaders. The elite agents usually are stationed in Switzerland, where the Head Maestro is located. Agents can be promoted to anywhere from a Viceroy to a Chapter Leader to even a Council Member should they be an Imminent Viceroy when a Council Member dies or steps down. The possibilities are endless.

Here are all the council members appearances and little bios.

Agent James Hobbes: head of North American Sector. He was taught telekinesis by Tsung Mente, a benevolent demon who lives in the Himalayas. One of the best agents the WSA has ever seen. Known for his hands-on approach, elegant speech, and no-nonsense demeanor. His Imminent Viceroy is a youth named Edwin.

Zeus Mugamba: head of African Sector. Uses lightning gauntlets, powerful artifacts from the days of ancient Egypt which give the user control over the electric forces of the earth. Very strong. Wise man who is at least a thousand years old. He is one of the oldest living members of the WSA. His Imminent Viceroy is his Kenyan granddaughter, All'ya.

Violeta "Scar" Bonchini: head of European Sector. The famous Italian assassin known for taking out the Last Grand Leader of North Korea. Best fighter in all of the WSA. Skilled sniper. Only member of WSA Council without any powers or tech. She's just that good. Her Imminent Viceroy is a young German man named Johan.

Hidetoshi Kiera: head of Asian Sector. Former member of the Nu-Samurai governing party which rules the People's Military Shogunate of Japan. Has a series of blades implanted throughout his body, essentially making him a human sword. Very agile, very honorable, a noble warrior. His Imminent Viceroy is Hun Lao, a Chinese man skilled in deception.

Joao du Firmino: head of South American sector. Shrewd negotiator always looking to cut a deal. He bested a Brazilian devil in a wrestling match as a boy, and ever since he's been capable of manipulating the shadows, turning invisible, terrifying his foes, and blasting people with shadowy tentacles. His Imminent Viceroy is a Peruvian boy named Lobo.

Alvin Clark: head of Australia sector. Alvin is in touch with the earth and its wild things. He learned these powers from the ancient Aborigines, as Alvin was alive when Australia was first discovered. He's since become one with the continent itself, his spirit is tied to it. He can summon beasts, manipulate the ground, cause earthquakes, etc. He's the kindest man in the Council. His Imminent Viceroy is an Aborigine boy who can turn into a kangaroo. His name is Boaty.

The Duke of Antarctica: head of the Antarctic sector. He doesn't have a real name. Duke is a cybernetic intelligence system created to manage the relatively new Seventh Sector of the WSA, as no agents could be relocated to such a barren land. Duke is capable of inhabiting most robotic forms, his consciousness being able to switch from body to body at will. Thus, he is perfect for controlling the haunted wastelands of the Seventh Sector. Many unknown monsters hide within the icy continent, and Duke and his Imminent Viceroy are the only ones keeping them at bay. Speaking of which, Duke's Imminent Viceroy is a young girl grown in a test tube on Antarctica. Her name is simply Child.

The WSA was founded by the Swiss after World War 2 to ensure that nothing so horrible would ever happen again. At least, on a global scale. The responsibility of the WSA is to contain potentially massive incidents before they get to a global scale. In the case of the Infernal War, they've failed. And so, operating from their base in the heartland of Switzerland, they've begun a new war in earnest. One that they hope to be in control of. One in which they hopefully win.

Hey there, I know you said no anime, but I figured since its just mec-trooper's body it would be fine. Anyways, I m open to suggestions if you want anything changed.

Name: (Former) Faust Von Stroheim, (Current) MT-7777 “Sev”
Age: Born in 1970, May 4th
Personality: Over the years has grown cynical due to the horror he has witnessed. Despite losing his body, his sarcastic sense of humour is still preserved. Enjoys fighting as long as no one else’s life is on the line but his. Very protective of his allies and prefers to put himself in the frontlines. Like to play old music during battles. Secretly misses his human body.

Appearance (realistic pictures or descriptions, please. No anime): Was previously a normal-looking human before undergoing the mec-trooper treatment. After an accident, he was reduced to nothing more than a brain with cybernetic implants.

Faust was a soldier who deemed that his human body was severely limiting and joined the mec-trooper programme where volunteers willingly amputate their limbs to gain cybernetic implants which are used to interface with a powerful mech suit.

After becoming a mech trooper, he severely injured in one of his combat missions. Due to the severity of his injuries, they were only able to save through an experimental treatment which only saves and preserves the brain. This treatment is used on soldiers in preparation for the 7th generation of MEC troopers that require full integration between brain and machinery for much greater control and precision of the mech’s movement and weapon system.

He woke up shocked at what he had lost, but quickly got over it when he saw what he was capable of due to his new “condition”.

An experimental 7th generation mech suit that integrates alien technology with the latest MEC trooper frame. It is built to be much stronger and faster than its predecessor by taking advantage of the higher power output provided by its core its direct interface with the users brain.
Height: 8 ft. 4 inch.
Power Plant: 7th generation miniature Fusion-core
Weight: 2.6 Tons
Armor
Covered with an ultra durable space metal made from the ships and armor of the alien invaders. One of its special property is its defensive capabilities are tripled when it is energized, but this however can only be done in short burst as it wears out the metal faster.

A spherical sensor is mounted inside the head. It is revealed during optical long-distance viewing and precise measurement. Usually used to gather detailed information on the enemy before engaging. It has multiple vision types such as thermal and night vision. The head of the suit also has rear view cameras to ensure that nothing sneaks up on it.
Arms
The arms can split into a total of four arms. Each and is able to rotate at great speeds deflect attacks and perform “drill” attacks.
Torso
Able to rotate 360 degrees. Allowing the user to perform “death blossom” type of attacks.
Legs
Multi-jointed legs allow it to freely switch between normal bipedal stance to reverse-jointed stance allowing it to increase jumping, sprinting and kicking capabilities. Has triangular claws on its feet that can be used to attach itself onto various surfaces and grabbing opponents with a crushing grip. Can also be clenched together and rotate to perform “drill” with its legs.
Thruster
The suit possesses thrusters mounted on its back, legs and feet which are used for aerial movement and combat. Unlike the predecessors, he is able to fly at supersonic speeds as he does not have a body and therefore less susceptible to g-forces.

Plasma auto-cannons mounted beneath its shoulder pauldrons. Normally used to intercept projectile weapons or neutralise light to medium armour threats based on its power settings.

4 plasma sabres that are stored in hidden compartments of the torso which also acts as a charging port. When activated, they release a red stream of plasma that extends 4 feet from the hilt. The length and intensity of the plasma blade can be increased by diverting more energy into the weapon.

D6 “Subjugator” Variable Output Plasma Cannon
Shoots bolts of plasma energy. Variable output allows it to fire bolts of varying size and intensity at the cost of more energy and a slower firing rate. Its equipped with an underslung grappling hook with a shock module. The suit can store up to four of these on its back skirt holsters.

Other:
- Has a room full of trophies of his defeated foes consisting of skulls, horns, helmets and broken weapons.
- Likes to wear a large cloak with a black exterior and red interior which is connected to the shoulder pauldrons. The purpose of the cloak is mainly just for show although it does conveniently hide the weapons and the arms of the suit.

This suit is the bleeding edge of personal combat enhancements, with onboard Heads Up Display (HUD), magnesium alloy armor, personal health diagnostics and treatment system, and physical capability enhancing servos and gyros improving the strength, speed, and agility of the user to near superhuman capabilities. Targeting and analysis systems embedded within the Heads Up Display allow the user to effectively use any weapon stored within a registered database, always giving One a new alternative in a fight. These combinations means that the suit's wearer can carry on combat even when injured, at a level far exceeding that of a typical soldier.
