The Hidden Villages

Kakashi looked up from his book the same lazy expression as always plastered on his face. He gave a signature two finger wave to her before standing up straight. "I'm not normally the first person to any meeting." He hummed. "I wonder do you have a habit of being late?" Even though the book was still in his had being held up to read his eyes never once left Alea. His interest in the book was lost the moment she walked up and that was more odd then him being her first. He sighed before shutting the book with pop and placing it back into his belt pouch where he always kept it.

Yet. As soon as he did his eye looked past her to see Azuma staring at him rather couriously before walking up. "Well if it isn't Kakashi and my baby sister." He laughed a cigrate hanging from his mouth. "I had some business to do here. How about you two?"

(I can't remember but is Tusande here when sauske disappeared I think she is.)

The wolf in the sand:

Kira smiled at Garra and pretended to think a bit. Hes looked so troubled since they left her village. After a few seconds she clapped her hands together. "I would love to be friends but how about I make you a pack connection? That way it's more. You will be considered to my pack a friend of mine and not just to me." She grabbed his hand placing his flat against hers between them. A black chakra mixed with green weaved between their fingers before dissapereing. Ren growled at the two of them as she finished it up. "I'm not excepting that he still smells wired." He mumbled before laying down and closing his eyes to pout. "Well, besides Ren since he seems to not fallow pack rules beside fallowing me around like a lost puppy." Ren huffed and Kira smiled. "As my pack grows in the future. If you meet any of them, they will know you are my friend and if you need help they will help you when I'm not near to do it my self. Though my pack is small right now." She pulled her hand away and sat against the wall again shutting her eyes not only did she make a friendship with him but she made sure any wolf from her pack would and her parents pack would know on sight as well.

Alea grinned "well I never really had many things I need to be present at so I suppose I may be a little late from time to time" she admitted scratching the back of her head nervously looking to Kakashi still with a smile on her face as she examined him. She was wondering why he always wore a mask. It was a little weird to wear one off mission all the time. Maybe he just liked keeping it a secret. Alea kept that to herself as her elder brother approached. "smoking again... you're going to be a slack father if you keep that up" Alea grumbled lowly watching Asuma with a frown appearing on her face.

"and of course we are here for a reason our mission" she said still frowning.

(Yes she is, since she returns and heals him after his fight with Itachi when Jiriyah saves him)

instead of replying Gaara just watched and listened in fascination. He had never heard of a pack connection... or really knew anything about that she had a pack until right now. Though for some reason Gaara just listened letting his gentle smile stay on his face as he watched chakra. "I see... thank you Kira" he says softly looking to her then to Ren quietly. "what does he mean by my scent?? so i smell that different from others?" he asked wondering if Shikaku was the cause of the smell. That demon was always such a pain. But one day he will tame him and use his power to help make a better world.

Azuma laughed scratching his head. Kakashi studied him a bit before sighing and throwing his hands to his sides in a exagrated srug. "Are you sure your not here to spy on you little sister Azuma." Kakashi mumbled before turning to the hokage's building and walking in. "I'll wait in side you to talk." He waved before entering the building.

"Alea are you sure your ready for this? I mean I know your strong and so is Kakashi is as well but still I can't help but worry about you?"

Azuma walked to his sister a look of worry on his face.

"I heard this mission might be very difficult and rather tricky politically and emotionally I'm worried you might get attached to the people you are escorting when you might be forced back into staying at home. And to Kakashi as well what if it doesn't work out with you being part of the village? Maybe I'm just over thinking."

Kakashi moved to the office area knocking lightly before entering at Tusande's words. "Ah, lady hokage Alea will be here soon."

Kira listened to him as he asked question. His voice was low and rather emotionless but she knew that wasn't the truth somehow. "Right you get answers. Well to tell you we have two days in your village until we head out to the next over to meet the leaf ninjas. We are to hold a meeting with the Kazakage of your village where a lot will be answered. But, basically I mean you do smell different but he's only saying that because he's a male. Your stronger then him considerably and he can tell. It's different from females males have a harder time excepting being shown up basically. So yes you smell different as if you have two separate sents but it's not like you actually smell bad he's just jealous." She laughed a bit as Ren mumbled under his breath. She leaned to Garra their shoulders touching before yawning a bit. Her eyes still shut even as she kept speaking. "I on the other hand use your sent to keep my wolf calm you smell as if part of the dessert and I can keep her calm by having this sent near. She knows that even if she's a prone in this area you could protect her and me. If that makes sense. I have a feeling that's why my father requested your team. See we have no desert wolves no one has ever had a desert wolf born. It's rare for even a partial desert imprint in multi terrain wolves. Ren is one of very few say maybe 12 all together. But, their is a story that long long ago. The desert pack was one of power, strength, and loyalty. But they dissapereing along with any full desert wolves. It was a rather mixed pack. I think politically you village and my father are hoping that this cooperation will one day lead me to put a pack in your village the head pack and a secondary in the leaf. It's befits both side new power for your village and a area away from the pack wars for me. But that's only my thought. Anyways I guess it will be explained to us in the sand village. I'm only rambling." She sighed using Garra as support while she rested. She did want to talk much about it but a warning to them would be good before they got to the village. Their was a lot of politics and a lot of dark secrets being hidden by the more noble packs of their land.

Alea listened very carefully to what her brother had to say. Knowing he had a good point but then again she needed to stop hiding and be herself. "Asuma I'll be fine I promise" Alea said with a smile "I'll make father and you proud" she said before walking off and into the hokage office. Knocking first then entering when allowed.

"sorry I'm late Lady Hokage my brother was concerned for me" Alea said bowing respectfully. "it's fine Alea you and I go way back I understand though it's a habit you may wish to train your teammate out of" Tsunade said turning her gaze upon Kakashi for a moment. Then she explained the mission details in depth. It really was a tough first mission for Alea to take on.

Gaara nodded while listening intently. "fascinating... You certainly are an interesting person Kira" Gaara says right before he felt her head on his shoulder. It appeared she was tired and Gaara happily sat still letting her sleep in peace. They had a long journey ahead of them.

Kakashi to a sideways glance at Alea when she walked in. His eyes drawn to her naturally. Tusande caught the look and a small smile played on her lips before she spoke. "Well since team seven is split up right now it leaves Kakashi open to take high ranked mission. Alea I have read over your charts and you are just as capable as Kakashi." She took a folder and handed passed it to them before interlocking her hands and resting her elbows on the desk. "We were asked along with the sand for a favor that could benefit us in the long run.." Kakashi opened the folder to see the red s in the corner and the picture of two young children around naruto a and Sakura age.. "These two kids carry the hope of their village on their shoulders. The wolf clans from the village hidden in the pine. They have been so closed of to the rest of the world that we know little about them but long ago before the villages were formed we did have a pack living in this area. We have basic knowledge on them and we know that having a pack allied with us is benficial. They have power that raval the kage if not stronger, many villages have sought after them but their power comes with a price and that's why they shut them selves away in there own lands." Tusande stood up and looked out the window over the village. "Over time their land became over crowded with packs. Their race being inhabited by a wolf spirit tend to leave to basic instincts. Wolves being territorial they are as well. Though some packs are trying to peacefully work out the clashing territories others are choosing different paths. It's pretty much a blood bath over their they say." she sighed before heading back to her desk. "back to the mission. In you hand you will see the two children you will need to escort. You will leave tomorrow morning and meet the sand shanobi in a small village a day to the east of the hidden sand. You will then a a month long journey to the land of peaks. Even though this is an escort village I want you two to for a bond with this girl. (She goes on to explain why but that will be in hidden sands rp.) you two will except this mission right?" She nodded to them."

Kakashi nodded then looked to Alea. For her to answer though he knew she would accept.

Kira awoke rather flustered that she fell asleep on the red heads shoulder she quickly backed away and stood up. "I think we should head out now the hidden sand is five outs away and the sand storm is still kicking so it will be slow moving. Did you enjoy your nap girl?" Temari teased her earning a chuckle from Konkuro. Kira growled a bit as they all headed for the mouth of the cave. Ren walked behind the two older ones while Kira stuck next to Garra even though she was still rather embarrassed. As hours passed they walked in silence and Kira's mood grew more unplesent even near Gaara she wasn't happy about being in the middle of a desert. "Gah. This stupid sand. So much sand and no tress it driving me nuts." She finally yelled to her self. Ren laughed at her misery. "A alpha must adapt Kira." Kira gritted her teeth and snapped back. "I have adapted twirp dosnt mean I have to like it." Just as she said it a vine grew from the sand below Ren causing him to trip a face plant into the sand. He got up spitting sand from his moth with a growl. "Will you to stop as intertaining as yout bickering is we are here." Kira stopped laughing at her seconds mouth full of sand she squinted through the sand storm. The storm seemed to start to fade away and large sand wall steps began to take shape spotters where placed around them for look outs as they towered over the barren sand. Kira look to Gaara quickly before looking back at the village walls. She seemed to be asking if this was really where the three of them lived.

Alea nodded to the hokage with a smile "of course I'll accept the mission" she says softly before glancing over at Kakashi the smile still on her face. Given permission to leave Alea hoped to get more of a chance to talk with Kakashi since they didn't this morning or last night. But as they left the office Sakura stood at the door waiting on them. Well more on Kakashi.

The pink haired ninja had been taken under Tsunade's wing to be trained. Though she wanted to warn her sensei that Alea was a weird monster lady who used her bones as weapons. "Kakashi sensei! Alea is a weird dangerous bone lady" she said forgetting that Alea stood right beside Kakashi. Alea pouted even though every word was true. Sakura blinked a few times as she realized she blurted out out in front of Alea. Then in embarrassment she ran off. "umm... I really didn't mean to scare her" Alea mumbled.

Gaara hadn't moved the entire time she slept and as they walked he didn't say a word his mind was else where. With the beast Shikaku where the two stood face to face talking to one another. It appeared the one tail was curious about the wolf girl himself.

Snapping out of the conversation to hear Temari announce they were home he weakly smiled to Kira "once in Suna I'll take you to the herb garden you may like the plant life in there" he suggested as the five of them entered Suna Gaara had to keep guard of the two wolves. Since he never slept and was extremely powerful it was an obvious choice.

Kakashi laughed sheepishly while scratching the back of his head as Sakura blurted out. When she ran off he turned to look at Alea hoping no emotional harm was done to her. His eyes landed on the young women her cheek slightly puffed in a pout as she spoke.
"I wouldn't worry about it. The girl scares easily you should have seen how she fainted when I showed her an illusion of Saskue dying." He laughed his cheeks slightly flushed under his mask. She was rather cute at that moment.
"Either way I think they will warm up to you. You just kinda freaked her out. Let's go get packed and meet up and narutos favorite ramen place those two will be coming with us. I'll go tell them and talk to Sakura." He said bowing his head a bit as a sorry for his students actions.
"See you soon." He smiled before jumping off not waiting for her. He was a bit embarrassed by his own thoughts at the moment.

It was about two hours later Naruto and Sakura sat in the shop waiting on there him. Naruto being a knuckle head could care less about Alea at the moment as he scarfed down his noodles Sakura on the other hand was glaring at her suspiciously.
"What are you lady! You might have charmed our sensei with you looks but your not fooling me I don't trust you." She growled crossing her arms as she star d at Alea. "You think just because you pretty......." Sakura started but Naruto cut her off.
"Sakura you just jealous that she pretty. But, I think you the pretties....." Sakura hit Naruto in the head just as Kakashi stepped in his hand up in a sidewise wave eyes closed.
"Yo." Ready to head out?

Kira grinned at Gaara's words she was eager to see the plant life even if it wasn't much she felt so out of a place right now. When they reached the end of the long tunnel the village opened up as if a giant sculpture. The houses though the same red as the sand that surrounded them almost looked as if prices of art fit together like puzzle prices round and square with one building standing tall above the others. Her grin grew as her eyes twinkled with excitement.
"I have to check in with the guard you wait here." Temarri said to Kira as her eyes rolled at the young girls excitement.

As temarri walked off Kira stayed next to Gaara but soon like every place she went she noticed people's gazes on her not in disgust but curiosity. She naturally drew people in with her presence. But, what was odd no one approached that's when she noticed the second looks the ones that glared at Gaara as he stood beside her. Gaara seemed uninfected by it yet she could tell it did bother him. Her face fell as she looked up at all the people around them. Her hand went up to lightly grip the sleeve of Gaara's red jacket. The people seemed shocked that a young girl would stand so close to the mister of their village. One of the men approached .
"Why do you go stand with Kankuro and your friend from your village." The man tried to tug her away f I'm Gaara but instead she firmly planted her feet before pulling her arm back.
"Ah, I'm fine her Gaara is protecting me." She put on her best smile causing the man to slightly flush in a she's such a cute girl way.
"He said he would take me to the herb garden. I cant wait." She smiled again just then other came up to talk to the her as she held the conversation drawing their attention off Gaara onto herself. Eventually Temmari called out to them.
Kira pulled on Gaara's shirt as they both started to walk away. Kira waved to the group.
"I will see you later thanks for talking with me." She smiled before turning away to face Ren who was smirking at her with a knowing look.
"That was quiet an act. I forgot that you were rather good and getting people to like you after you being so stand offish the whole way here." Ren laughed before they all started to walk into the village.
"Ya well, I have to one day out a pack her might as well start early. Plus I didn't like the way they were looking at us. So, I changed their moods a bit." She walked her hand still clenched onto Gaara's sleeve.

Alea nodded at Kakashi still a little bummed that she was being told off by a little girl with pink hair. Though what was the point worrying about it? Hopefully one day they would be friends all of them Alea lacked in friends so it would be nice to have them. Hearing the plan to get packed and ready to leave she smiled "I'll see you soon then" Alea says with a shy smile as he jumped off. She wasn't sure why but each time she spent time with Kakashi she felt far more happy than she did earlier. The white haired ninja walked home and packed her gear. Even had her leaf headband which she wore around he neck. Though while she packed she wondered what it would be like with others seeing her skills. Alea knew the risks of over using her abilities but didn't know what would happen if she got to deep into a battle. Time would tell if she would truly fit in as a ninja.

Now all packed up and ready she got to Ichiraku to just be bombarded with more statements of disapproval from Sakura. "I'm not fooling anyone Sakura you need to relax a little I really hope we could become friends" she said to the pinkette before Kakashi appeared with almost no warning, but he asked if she was ready which she was. "yeah I'm ready to go" Alea said as she stood up from her seat and slung her bag over her shoulder.

The looks the villager's gave were no shock to Gaara he was unfazed even when they tried to convince her to move from him. Though he was not fond of the idea of her standing far away from him. So as they moved from the crowd following Temari Gaara moved keeping close to Kira in almost a protective state. He wasn't sure if she noticed but some of his sand was on full alert protecting her. The man that grabbed her arm was far more lucky than he could imagine. If Kira didn't give off a friendly vibe that arm could have been removed.

Once things were cleared Gaara stopped walking and looked at Kira "shall we go to the herb garden now? Or would you like to rest? I can take you to your sleeping quarters or to the garden" he said still rather lifelessly. Though it looked depressing he really was trying to be nice to her. Kunkuro was speechless as he nudged his sister "he's actually helping her this is almost weird to watch" he said looking at Temari who also watched as their little brother was doing his best to keep his monster at bay.

Kakashi lead the group out of the village not speaking much once out side he found him self getting annoyed at the glars Sakura was giving Alea.
"Sakura, you and Naruto go ahead and scout the area come back if you find anything if not stay ahead for now." Kakashi orders.

"But, Kakashi we are just traveling to the sand I doubt we need to scout."
Kakashi stared at her in silane and soon her face fell as she mumbled a hai and went of with Naurto who was more then happy to have alone time with Sakura.

"Really that girl is to strong willed. I hope you don't take it the wrong way I don't see anything wrong with you abilities. I've seen a lot over my time I guess it's just a diffeance in experience." He walked his hand in his pockets as he snuck glances at Alea. For the first time his face wasn't shoved in a book. His hand went up to scratch the back of his neck.

"Well, either way let's talk some more since the knuckle heads are away. I spoke to lady Tsunde again after you left for a bit. She filled me in some more it looks like we are to make friends with this girl she's only fourteen but friendship is important to her people. We need to become friends with eachother first don't you think." He smiled at her as they walked.

Kira looked up at Gaara a large smile on her face. But after a few seconds her smile faltered as she got lost in thought. Her eyes fell before her head dropped forward. "We need to see The man named Baki first. I was given a few orders when I left. Talking to My fathers friend Baki was the first thing I was told to do when getting to the sand. I've already ignored a few orders he will be mad I need to at least do this one." Her voice shook a bit mixed with distress and fear but nothing threatening. Her hand slowly slipped from Gaara arm before fisting. She looked up at Gaara with determination. "Gaara when you asked me to be your friend I was happy and I accepted because I truly wanted to be you friend just remember that as we go to talk to him. It was true okay?"
With that she walked forward a bit asking Temmari if the build with Baki was the large one in the center. They set off to learn about the details of this mission.

It was fascinating to see how younger minds worked and since this was the first mission in a squad for Alea she was enjoying all the banter and conversation. Hearing Kakashi mention Sakura again Alea gave him a happy shrug "if I were in her position I would be suspicious too and she's a girl jealousy comes naturally haha" Alea mused as the two walked side by side.
She was more than happy to get to know squad seven and become good friends with all of them.

"I already classify you as my friend Kakashi... Man I hope that doesn't sound weird since we only just met" Alea says mumbling the last bit nervously face going red before giving of a smile to the male ninja she walked beside. It was quite weird making friend's, especially for some one who didn't have any. So she hoped she wasn't to quick to making friends.

Gaara's face was emotionless though her words hit home making him want to express his confusion and annoyance verbally. But the red head kept tight lipped. If Kira had to go to see Baki then so be it, Gaara had no choice in the matter other than the choice that he would stay with her the entire time. Temari nodded to Kira confirming where Baki lived as Gaara placed one of his hands on Kira's shoulders "while you are in the sand I will escort you wherever you need" he says as his siblings still couldn't wipe away the shock on their faces. Was this wolf calming their younger brother?.

Kakashi smiled at her. "I think we are friends too." He patterned her head for a second before he froze jerking back.
"Sorry," he mumbled looking away.
"So, tell me Alea why where you hidden away for so long?" he scratched the back of his head trying to change the subject. He was slowly loosing his cool around this women. So, uncool her sighed in his head tempted to hide him self in his book.

(Sorry these next will be a bit long to explain everything)

Kira looked at Gaara her eyes a bit sad before she nodded. "He will want to see all of us." She muttered as they walked to Baki's home.

When they entered Kira bowed slightly causing Ren to growl.
"Your Baki right?" Kira glared at Ren as he rolled his eyes.
The man nodded before holding out his hand to her. "I'm Baki, I owe a lot to your father." Kira took his hand shaking it. "I've heard the story. I'm Kira his only child and this is Ren" she gestured to Ren beside her. "It's good to meet you for along time your father secretly sent me messages to keep our friendship. He told me a lot about his life as the year went by. Including how happy he was about the birth of his Alpha daughter." the man gave a weathered smiled. Kira nodded while the rest of them all watched the two. "As much as I would like to sit and tell you stories we need to get to business first." Baki stood back up and head to the desk and sat down. Kira knew she was the one he wanted to talk with so she stepped forward.

"So, I'm sure your father filled you in on the agreement. Now we did send the escort to get you here with a money arrangement for the escorts but the second half comes down to you decision. Can you tell me the agreement or do I need to tell you again." Kira was taken back by how fast he got right into it. The force in his voice felt like a challenge and she wanted to fight back he was disrespecting her with every word. Her brows knitted together and she felt Ren's anger grow behind her. She took a breath before speaking to calm her self.

"No sir, I can tell you. The agreement was that to gain five escorts on the second half, three from the sand and two from the leaf, I would need to agree to the terms created by the sand and my father. Those terms consisted of make the escorts from both villages pack members. The next condition was on my 18th birthday. After my wolfs fully matured I would return to the hidden sand to creat a pack alliance with the village. I would also split the pack in two creating primary and secondary. The secondary with reside in the sands ally the leaf. This will creat a new foot for my pack with open territory in two lands away form the war consumed land of pine. And will also give the sand and leaf new shinobi to help protect their villages."

She turned to look at Gaara her eyes filled with worry. She didn't make Gaara a pack member because she had to she wanted to.

Alea's pale skin went red as Kakashi patted her head and she laughed shyly as he froze up and pulled away. Before she could comment on it she was asked a question. A very good question. "I was hidden away for my own safety along with the safety of the village" she said before taking a breath before speaking again. "My father told me the stories of my clan and what brought them to ruins... they were dangerous individuals and once apparently Orochimaru was seeking them" she says looking at Kakashi with a weak smile. "it was only three years ago that I was allowed to venture out from hiding but even then it was restricted... I had learnt to control my abilities so well that he was sure I was no risk to the village"Alea says finishing on that.

"enough about me... tell me about you? Naruto told me a few fascinating stories about you on your adventures to the Mist"

Gaara stood in the back of the room, he was keeping far from the chatter, though he could easily hear it. Hear what the future plans to the village and Kira. He tried to not over think this at the moment but with his goal to one day become Kazekage he wanted to make sure he knew each and every detail. Though as it became clear that it was a long term situation and that an escort of leaf shinobi were in boud he walked out of the room and choose to stay outside. There was a possibility that Naruto was on that team.

The redhead hoped he could one day speak with him.
