not the... horny teacher!

Well that's a pretty awesome tank. Very impractical and rather lacking in the defense department (excluding photon shields or whatever, anyway), but cool.

Its... About 300-500 meters long, equipped with large caliber artillery cannons, small caliber artillery cannons, anti-air rockets, anti-air flak (which is on the aft of the tank), torpedoes, anti-rocket lasers, active radar, active sonar, a shield dome emitter and an onboard factory.

Its also completely submersible.

OHOHOHOHOHO

Go ahead.

If I do go ahead with it, It would likely (almost) never appear and instead produce and send cheap automatic mook bots/tanks

That could be like the main HQ or something. Would love to see how that thing fare against Rendezvous.

And that other image from before for being in uniform.

Name: Sophia Weiss

Other Names: Subject E-05, Elise Lorentz (birth name), Éclair (Street name)

Hero Club

Gender
: Female

Age: 12

Real Age: 15

Grade: Middle school year 1

Species: Human cyborg

Genre: Cyberpunk

Series Name: Lost Generation

Description: 133 cm, ~54 kg. She's oddly heavier than her build would normally indicate, a slight tell of her cyberware. The nature of her cybernetic surgery has stunted her growth; she can't physically mature, beyond all-out replacement of her artificial bits. She tends to favor suits and waistcoats when she isn't wearing a school uniform, and generally favors a masculine manner of dress.

Personality: Sophia is a practical individual and careful planner. She tends to conduct herself in a business-like and professional manner, and is well aware that she is simply doing a job which needs to be done. She has no personal illusions about being in it for great ideals, so much as for survival. She is often witty or sarcastic, and is a level-headed realist, which the club probably needs now and again. She prefers to see a team working well together and even if the plan doesn't survive past contact with the enemy, she prefers to have one and that others stick to it, so any particularly large egos are likely to get on her nerves if they can't cooperate.

She's developed a much brighter, nicer cover persona to try and conceal her nature as an agent and child soldier. She's usually successful in keeping a more jaded outlook from seeping through the cracks, although she is still sarcastic, pragmatic, and so-on. She's just...nicer about it. Though particularly behind closed doors, she has no fear of letting some of the mask drop. If she's lucky, it's her true self which would be seen as the act. She actually does have an interest in the tarot and the occult, which is one of her main motivations for joining the club, and genuinely enjoys its adventures. In fact, she considers the entire op something of a nice vacation from the battlefield and the usual work, which tended to end in much more violence. In other words, she is taking it easy and enjoying school life for a change.

History:
Sophia's life began like that of many growing up in the slums of Berlin: poorly. Born well outside of the ivory towers and corporate arcologies, she didn't have much of a life ahead of her, beyond that of some street kid, or possibly making her way into a low-level corporate position if she was lucky. In a way, she was lucky: she is one of the rare cases of a human with emergent psychic powers. Thus, she was a valuable research subject, and was quickly "collected" by a megacorporation for study and experimentation. Sophia was one of many kids collected for the project by one means or another, and one of the survivors of the various surgical and conditioning procedures. For all she knows, any memories from before are implanted or fake. Her electrokinetic abilities lended themselves well to cybernetic alterations, and as a result, much of her body has been heavily, if discreetly, modified.

Her promising career as a corporate test subjcet was nipped in the bud when she escaped, along with a small group of other children. With nowhere else to go and a need to disappear fast, Sophia went for the criminal underworld, and never looked back. Wiping all records that could trace her to Sumeragi, additional cybernetics, weapons, and setting up a few fake identities all cost money, and she has done quite a few distasteful things to earn it. She's had a few years to begin making a name for herself in the criminal underworld, and makes a decent enough living.
Some time after escaping, Sophia moved from Berlin to Neo-Tokyo. It's a bit more dangerous, being in Sumeragi's home country, but the opportunities are there, and being further away from her original home gives her comfort. She sometimes maintains careful contact with her fellow escapees, although she does not work directly with them often.

Sophia is under no illusions that she's "sticking it to the man" or is otherwise much more than a deniable asset most of the time, but at least she gets to choose her jobs, who she works with, and so-on. While one might think she'd hold a grudge against Sumeragi, she's far more interested in staying under their radar, lest she be dragged back for further experiments. She runs with a small crew, in which she's usually playing the role of the group's combat muscle, despite her small size. She pulls double duty on infiltration or distractions, when appearing like a small child is useful.

Equipment:
Even if it's a school, Sophia maintains a small arsenal of actual guns. She keeps them well away from campus, for obvious reasons, though. The notable components of her arsenal are a FN P90 and SIG-Sauer P230SL. She also owns a basic combat knife, which she likewise tends not to carry with her.
Sophia owns an assortment of throwing knives, and tends to keep some on her person, due to them being easy to conceal under even a skirt. She doesn't carry her pistol or SMG to school under normal circumstances, although she does have an instrument case for conveniently carting her weapons around without raising too much undue suspicion.

Much like her counterpart, she sees a good value in smoke grenades and flashbangs, and has several, although she doesn't carry them around at all times.

Most of her nice clothes are bulletproof fabric, and much tougher than they look. Except, oddly enough, her school uniforms.

Deck of tarot cards.

Abilities:
Cybernetic augmentations:
Synaptic Booster: Perhaps the most shocking augmentation Sophia possesses, because it's biotech in nature. The majority of her major nerve cells (notably the spinal cord) have been broadened and replicated, providing much greater neural bandwidth. As a result, she has a much faster reaction time, often appearing superhuman in her ability to respond quickly to changing environments. She still can't dodge bullets, even if she may have that much time to...appreciate that she is going to be hit.

Carbon-fiber bone lacing: Sophia's bones have been carefully laced and coated with carbon-fiber composite, improving their integrity and tensile strength. As a result, she is tougher and has a little extra armor, and, well...if she punches you, it'll hurt that much more.

Cybereyes: Sophia's eyes are very convincing cybernetic replacements. They include a number of built-in systems, allowing her to function much better than normal vision ever would. She can see just fine in low-light environments, has a thermal imaging option, and flare compensation to cut dazzling, bright lights. Her vision in general is also greatly enhanced, giving her a much greater visual acuity at longer ranges than would be humanly possible.

The majority of her muscles have been replaced with vat-grown synthetics, affording her greater speed and strength than she would naturally have, and indeed, than most adults. Her limbs have been rebuilt from the ground up, and are close to being completely artificial. Her skin is also carefully reinforced with flexible armoring, such that it still resembles skin, rather than a shell of cold metal.

Electrokinesis: Sophia's electrokinetic abilities allow her to generate and control electricity within her own body. She primarily uses it like a taser of sorts, shocking people she grabs or strikes in close-combat to non-lethally take them down. She can use her ability to kill or injure, in which case she often uses a thrown knife as a sort of lightning rod for a powerful arc of electricity.

Skills: Sophia is trained in the use of a wide variety of firearms, and particularly skilled with thrown knives. Her unarmed combat skills are also pretty good. She is skilled in the arts of stealth and infiltration, and can bluff her way around problems at times. She's a novice at tarot readings. She can clean and cook, although not to an impressive degree.

Companions: The rest of her little crew of criminal-types would count, but I'm not sure how relevant they'd end up being. But, here goes...
Locke - The group's infiltration specialist. He might be a former spy, nobody's quite sure. He's bout average height for a Caucasian man, has short brown hair, and a full beard. He's decent in a fight, but his primary skills are in getting in and out of just about anything undetected. He tends to treat Sophia like a daughter.

Diva Null – An extremely skilled hacker, she handles things in cyberspace. Diva is a woman of slight build, with medium-length black hair. She tends to dress and act a lot like a typical hikkikomori who doesn't need to go anywhere.

Kagami Tachibana – The fixer and face of the group, she tends to be the one who finds their jobs and makes sure they aren't being ripped off. She runs a nice bar, which just happens to cater to various criminal elements. Kagami herself is an unassuming Japanese lady, who prefers traditional manners of dress.

Reasons for joining club: It looked like fun. It's also good for maintaining a bit of a cover.

Voice Actor: Eri Sendai

Counterpart Requirements: Given that Sophia is a criminal, they'd need to be somehow on the side of the law. Level of corruption is up to their player, of course, as is whether they're corporate, government, or just a bounty hunter. The episodic nature of he series would give plenty of opportunity for Sophia and company to make enemies. They could also be an old friend now working for Sumeragi and pursuing their fugitive (and valuable) psychic assets.

Other Information:
Theme music:

Sophia's good to roll.

We've got our 4-4. After the RP starts, I doubt we'll introduce more characters until Week 2. So, @Nocturnia, want to start with us or will it be alright to move forward without you?

>None of the characters have counterparts

Like, damn. Dude. Nani? What? You know, I think starting is an option. It'll feel really awkward with this, but starting is an option.

With this taken into account, shall we commence or shall we not?

300-500 meters long... that's a building, not a tank :D It would also be useless on Earth due to the existence of these things called "hills". It would only be useful on completely flat battlefields. Mars might be able to hold it, in some parts. It would certainly be much too large for anywhere in Japan.

A tank that can't move is a giant fortress. So yeah, it's not a tank, it's an immovable fortress.

It has independent suspension (Each track can tilt in each side independently) , it can deal with hills.

Also I will most likely be able to write the CS tomorrow... Or well, to be specific in 11-12 hours.

You know, for me, i kinda like the idea of a cross-genre fight.

Aside from Two and John, since their ability is kinda similar, Akucchi could do well against Ryoko, since she also wields katana, while Sophia and Trauciel could duke it out on supernatural vs science kind of stuffs.

Yeah i think we can get it on.

Well, technically Akucchi can create any weapon she likes provided it's melee, she's just most proficient in slashing swords because that's the coolest type of weapon.

I'd like to see that tank drive up a hill properly though. I made a similar design of vehicle out of lego once, with the 4 tracks, but that had a hard time moving across any surface that wasn't flat. Even a few scattered 2x2 blocks would screw it up.

Yeah i mean that, since she's proficient in sword.

Also, i can imagine how that thing maneuvers on hills and such. Each of the track can go up and down, therefore it adapts to the landform.

But yeah, rather than tracks, i prefer the use of legs for that scale of fortress.

When I'm doing 500 meter long fortresses, I like to go the extra mile and invest in hover engines and hyperdrives.

Incidentally, going the extra mile and making it fly lets me put an extra mile onto its dimensions.

I'm still alive. Just can't reply on my phone for some reason recently...

Working on the CS now... Should be done within the next hour...

As the tank approaches the hill, the first two tracks would tilt upwards, providing traction for climbing, while the aft tracks would stay horizontal and prevent the tank from slipping, until they too climb up the hill.

Alternatively blow up the hill.

Blow up the hill works for me. It certainly has the necessary fire power.

The final version in the CS has more weapons then the version presented up there. Mostly long range stuff and countermeasures though.

It can now launch strategic missiles and has 60 50cal chain-guns
Though the shield was slightly down-toned and can now simply be walked through. Still stops missiles and stuff though.
