Oyama had to raise an eyebrow at Jem's entrance. If all of his entrances were to be this exciting, he might have to step up his game. He shook his head at Akane's question
"Not that I've been made aware of, no."
---------------------------------
"Amusing."
The words were softly spoken by a well-dressed young man standing just to the side of the door leading to the hero's club. He had long violet hair, and while he could pass for being 18, more than a few people thought he looked older. He had thought maybe, given the title of the club, he might find those annoying Ryutaiders here, but the number of people didn't match up, and their personalities didn't seem quite right either. He gave a sigh and walked across the hall, opening the door to the primary reason why he had come. His eyes were immediately greeted by a luck display of colors and patterns. Well, if nothing else the founder of this club knew how to make a good first impression. His gaze traveled over to the young woman he believed to be the founder.
"Good day miss . . . Akira is it?"

Runa smiled at the other club members. "Nice to meet all of you," she says, before paying special attention to Ryuumi. "I like to eat, too, so I'm sure we'll get along." Or, they'll fight over snacks at every turn. Speaking of, Runa helped herself to another cookie before she returned her attention to the president.

"So, what's on the agenda," she asked. "I don't think I'm allergic to anything at all. I'm not always good with animals, though." She leaned over to inspect some of the pictures laid out on the table. "Hm..."

Two was lucky he responded so quickly though the next time he tries to sneak up on me things won't end so . . . cleanly Jonathan thought as he slowly put his knife back in his pocket while eyeing two. Two didn't seem that impressive but clearly the other club members saw more in him the Johnathan did, then again Johnathan was much more interested in the thing in Two's pocket.

As for Akane's inquiry "no Ma'am I'm not allergic to anything"

Well . . . I suppose those cookies can't be poisonous considering how any Runa has eaten . . . continued to eat Jonathan rationalized as he bit into the cookie he had just grabbed, letting himself enjoy a rare treat.

Mr. Parkour had made a rather interesting entrance. Was simply running through the hall just too mundane an entrance? Well, it didn't matter anyway. The club was more or less assembled now and that was what mattered, right?

"Nope," Hayazaki answered. What a curious question. Perhaps they were about to go searching for lost pets or something. That'd be a nice community service to do. Some people treated pets like family, after all.
"Why? What activity are we participating in?" she asked.

Jem just stayed silent, but when he was looked at, he gave a slight shake of the head. He wasn't allergic to anything that he knew of, and that was a large spectrum. When he next spoke, he spun his rings on his fingers slightly. "They do bring up a good point, what do the picture have to do with the activity?" He walked over and took a look at the pictures, grabbing a cookie as well. "Will it be like searching for stray pets, or something more........ physical?"

"I'm glad y'all asked! Before we move on to other details, here's the main plan that I'm planning on Saturday! Today's Monday, so there'll be plenty of time to decide!"

Akane displayed some documents. There were various pictures of cats. Calico, Russian blue, American Short fur, all that. More than half were calicos. Why are there so many calicos? Pretty fishy if you asked me. Maybe it's just people preferring calicos.

"Well, these little guys started off as strays, but now they're ready for a new home. I already called dibs on two of the twelve cats, so maybe each of you could choose two of the remaining ten guys. The plan is - we'll be delivering these guys to their new homes! Yup, delivering. I hope you can handle it! Each sheet has information on the pet, and the address it has to be delivered to. Can you all make it?"

Akane passed out ten sheets for the group members to gaze upon, each having information on a cat each. As Akane had mentioned, there were 10 cats, and each person could choose two.

1. Hiss, a Russian Blue kitten
2. Fuu, Rin, Ka and Zen, four tiny calico kittens to be chosen together. Practically inseperable
3. Tsubasa, tiny barn owl on the outside, cat on the inside. Wait, what? Yeah let's go with that. Everyone loves owls
4. Felicity, an adult American Short Fur
5. Hikari, an adult calico
6. Shuu, a black cat
7. Jiru, an adult calico
8. Sphinx, an adult calico
9. Yuu, a juvenile calico
10. Kaneko, a juvenile Birman. Kind of uncooperative.

Johnathan examined the sheets but they didn't have useful information unless you knew something about different cat breeds which unfortunately Johnathan didn't. However he did notice that some of the cats were well odd Jonathan didn't see any reason to pick one cat over another, after all they are just animals.

Looks like my first mission is an escort though there's got to be a reason why we are delivering the cats instead of the new owners picking them up, Jonathan pondered. I don't wan't to go in blind on this one and Akane doesn't seem to be that good of a strategist but she was still the boss. Jonathan shuddered slightly when he thought of the last time he questioned his boss but he had to know so in the most respectful way he could Johnathan asked. "Excuse me Ma'am but Why are we escorting these animals and couldn't we protect them better as a group instead of taking two each?

"I thought we would be able to do the job more efficiently by splitting up, so I proposed that we split up instead," Akane explains, "plus, the District is pretty safe, as long as you all follow street smarts."

Akane had made some sort of assumption that Jonathan was a foreigner, kind of a paranoid one at that.

"The new owners wanted them to be delivered instead of coming on their own. They are probably busy, or they're home-people. So that's when we come in to lend a hand."

Akane then ponders for a bit.

"You do have a point. But on the other hand, I'm not sure if keeping the new owners waiting is a good idea, and we might take a little too long if it's a whole group... and the cats might get hungry if we take a little too long..."

"Why not travel in groups of two then? You know, use a buddy system?"
Oyama perked his head up from the sheet he had been given. There were very few animals he had met that he didn't like, so he was getting just a little excited.
"By traveling in groups of two or even three, one exponentially reduces the risk of assault from traveling alone."
"Besides, it looks like one of the homes is getting four anyway, so those two will end up going to the same place regardless."

"Aha~☆ that's not a bad idea at all~" Akane comments. "I think I'll assign groups after we've chosen which cats we want to pick~"

Groups of two, that was a much better idea!

"I was planning to promote group bonding in the event after this one, but I guess this is a good time to start small - in pairs~ I'm guessing that some of you are pretty new to each other, so this could be a good time to know more About each other~☆"

"Yes, I think groups are a good idea," Hayazaki nodded in agreement. Jonathan and Oyama seemed almost too concerned about walking around the streets. It was just a normal area, wasn't it? Not much to be afraid of here, really.

"Okay, how will we split up then?"

"Well, I don't care what two I take, so how 'bout I roll with the person who is taking two of the four?" This will also give me a chance to access the members of the group, to see if they are worthy. Jem spun his blue ring one last time before he really took a look at the information. "I'll take Fuu and Rin, there names sound strong, like warriors..... at least in my opinion." He took a quick sweep of the room and stopped when he came to the prez. "So, who'll be my partner?"

"Hm, I'm fine teaming up with anyone," Runa voluntered. Not...very useful, but at least she had no preferences. "I don't really know any of you guys yet, so it doesn't make any difference, you know?" She considered the cats, before selecting the owl and the black cat. "These two look cute. Can I be responsible for them?" Maybe one wasn't really a cat. She certainly realized that much, but wasn't gong to comment.

"Fuu, Rin, Ka and Zen will have to be taken together~ ☆" Akane explains to Jem, "they'll be in the same cage since they're pretty inseperable, sorry about that~ you'll hafta choose all four of them and one more~"

Runa had placed her options. "Alright, Yggdrasil-san, I'll record your choices
..."

Akane took a marker up and started recorded the choices of each member who was ready to suggest, right on the whiteboard.

hmm something still didn't seem quite right, Jonathan thought, if Akane was concerned with efficiency should't the cats be assigned in pairs based off were they live? Jonathan hoped he was over thinking this but maybe he could use these groupings to investigate Akane.

"Yes pairs does seem like the most practical way. I can take any cats but since miss Akizuki lives around here and this is my first time staying in a city we should be partners" Johnathan declared.

"I can go ahead and take Jiru an Yu. I'm not to picky about who I go with, just know I'm liable to talk your ear off."
Oyama gave a smile at Akana as she wrote on the board. She seemed to be pretty on top of things, which was always a good sign.

"I don't really care who I go with either. So I'll go with...Oyama," Hayazaki said. She didn't want to have a huge debate on who went with who. The sooner they got on the job, the better. The cats' owners wouldn't be very happy if the deliverers just sat in the club room all day deciding the pairs, after all.

"Just throw me in with whoever. It's all the same to me, so. I'll also take Sphinx in that case, they seem to be around the same area....." This grouping may take a while..... it's almost worth it to just take of alone and come back to help with more. Jem took a seat as he finished speaking.

While sitting, Jem resumed his normal actions of twirling his rings on his fingers. "Anyhow, how many trips do you think it'll take with the present party?"

Sayuri:

Sayuri glanced at her watch, and gasped in horror, staring at it with wide eyes. She'd just managed to settle into her new apartment, which meant unboxing her books, which in turn meant being distracted by their contents. And so, she'd ended up curled up on her bed in the midst of a nest of books opened to marked pages, with the usual side effect of a complete loss of sense of time. "The Hero Club meeting!" she cried, bounding off of her bed. Scrambling for the door, she tripped over a box and slammed into it. "Ow!" She fumbled with the doorknob, opened it, ran out, then had to stop and scurry back to close the door properly. Thankfully the school was close. Her luck ended as soon as she was inside.

"Ohcrapohcrapohcrapohcrap, who built this place, the Minotaur?" she muttered to herself as she ran from one hall and dead end to the next. The crumpled piece of paper in her hand only served to prove Korzybski's maxim, "the map is not the territory." At last, she found what she hoped was the right door, and skidded to a stop, panting. Through the door, she could hear people talking, something about cats; the meeting was clearly already underway. Maybe I shouldn't do this... she thought, feeling nervousness mount.

With an effort of will, she gathered her courage to knock softly on the door, then open it just enough to peer inside.

"Uh...E-excuse me? Is this...the Hero Club?"

"Well, let's see... we're each taking four cats in pairs, and all of these deliveries are limited to one District, so it will be one trip to four places, then a single trip back to the meeting point~ ☆" Akane explains. "Alternatively, you can take two at one go and repeat once more, making four trips."

Just then, Akane hears the door slide open. "Well, it appears that you're kind of late," Akane looks at the eye peering through the door. "Welcome to the Hero Club, have a seat..."

"So, what's your name~ ☆" Akane's eyes glittered.
