"Y- yo... you're here for the club, aren't you?"

Name:
Akizuki Akane

Hero Club

Gender
:
Female.

Age:
15

Real Age:
15

Grade:
High School, Year 1

Birthday:
24 December

Species:
Human

Description:
Akane stands at 1.65 metres tall. She has a bust size of about a C. She is mildly tanned and her hair is blonde is hue. No one has bothered to ask if those are natural hues. Maybe they do but she just changes the topic.
Her white socks appear to be a little loose, sagging in a 'kogaru'-like fashion.
She might wear her circular glasses out of habit, but when you point them out, they'll be removed.

Personality:
Akane seems to be part of the 'gyaru subculture' as some may call it. She tries to act charismatic and cool, but can't seem to hit the notes. Despite this, she continues to try to be a 'true gyaru'. She's kind of trying to be flirty, flirting with and teasing a few boys and girls she considers friends, even if it scares them.
Despite her efforts, she is a nice girl who is trying to be a charisma gal, and it is kind of hard to hide in her case. While trying to act tough, she takes little effort in veiling her sweet personality, constantly baking cookies for her club mates. She treasures her club mates a lot, since she formed this club with great effort. Not really great effort but you get me.

History:
Akizuki Akane is just a regular ordinary girl who wishes to be popular. Previously, she was just a girl in twinbraids and circular glasses, but now she has attempted to evolve in order to become more popular. Such attempts were either short-lived or an utter failure.
Upon hearing that her little sister would be attending the school, she thought that this was a good opportunity to set a good example for the kid. As such, the Hero Club was born from the very depths of her mind and soul!
Unfortunately for Akane, her little sister didn't join her club, and as expected, made another.
Today, she waits for new members, as the start of a new era dawns upon all.

Equipment:
None for the time being. If anything, she can buy pepper spray.

Abilities:
Who knows?

Skills:
She can cook, clean, and all that, much like a housewife. Or a big sister.
She has basic self-defense skills.
Her charisma is pretty great.

Companions:
N/A

Reasons for joining club:
She didn't join the club. She made it because she wanted to do a little good, maybe set a good example for her little sister.

Voice Actor:
Kido Ibuki

Other Information:
Anything that doesn't fit up there?

"Light and darkness coexist like friends and foes alike. And as you step into my den, you too will coexist with us. Wahaha~!"

Name:
"In this realm, my guise is known as 'Akizuki Akira'."

Other Names:
"I am the Tainted Bible, the Primordial Darkness, Ahriman and the Ahura Mazda. I go by numerous other names. But today, I am your Club Leader. Please take care."

Occult Society

Gender
:
"I take the form of a young maiden."

Age:
12

Real Age:
"Why do you wish to know?"

Grade:
1st year Middle School

Birthday:
"The eighth day of the eighth month... that is the day of the blood moon..."

Species:
"Only I know the true answer..."

Description:
The image depicted is how she sees herself. Akira is a mere 1.3 metres tall. She is as depicted above, except tinier and flatter, plus she only wears the dress on particular occasions such as most club meetings, which is a lot. Other than that, she wears her school uniform.

Personality:
Akira has what is known as 'chuunibyou'. If you don't already know what it is, well... let's just say she's got a lot of imagination, especially for someone who developed it a couple years early. She believes that everyone in the Occult Club has joined to play along, or in her words, 'join her'. She is slightly naive and oblivious to things. However, she has a lot more confidence and energy than her sister, and will probably last longer than the other members, insisting on persisting to find what she wishes to.
She is, after all, a girl going through puberty. Go figure.

History:
Chuunibyou - what is it? What secrets does it have?
Akizuki Akira is a girl who developed chuunibyou two years early. Two years early means two more years of fun, or an early grow-out. As a result, she does not have many friends who wish to hang around her, practically being quite a loner.
In order to negate this fate, she created the Occult Society with hopes to attract followers who share an interest with her. She is unaware of these followers' true intentions...

Equipment:
A simple gothic lolita-style umbrella

Abilities:
"You do not wish to see my true potential... Wahaha!"

Skills:
She has great skill in (possibly fake) occultic readings, scooping out rumours and such. We don't know if it's real or fake, but she can occasionally be seen giving tarot card readings and fortune telling.

Companions:
She often carries an alligator plushie named <Gaping Maws> Pseudo Bahamut, or just Bahamut. Akira always introduces Bahamut as Bahamut, claiming that the little guy 'isn't very fond of his full title'. It wears sunglasses, a beanie, and a sweater...
... let's go with this guy. He's kind of small enough to fit into a bag. At most 15 centimetres from snout to tail.

pTRU1-15919797dt.jpg

Reasons for joining club:
She didn't join it. She made it.

Voice Actor:
Uchida Maaya

Other Information:
If you manage to peep up her skirt, you'll see that she wears plain white boxers as opposed to bloomers or panties.

Name:
Nathaniel Winters

Other Names:
Fenrir

Occult Society

Gender:
Male

Age:
17

Real Age:
7

Grade:
Second Year High School

Species:
Genetically Modified Human

Genre:
Mecha

Series Name:
RaiZer: Freedom War

Description:
Standing at 1.8 meters Nathan is a well built figure, strong and lean if not a bit off putting. His white hair and red eyes make him come off as just some delinquent from another country. Despite the assumptions people make about him an his aestetics he's incredibly rigid about his dress habits, never breaking uniform code and always staying spotless.

Personality:
Nathan is a brick wall -- to put it kindly. He's a cold young man, even rude in some situations, whom never seems to be smiling or laughing or... doing anything really. If the emotional range had colors he'd be stuck on the concrete gray of neutrality. He displays just as much negative emotion as he does positive, never getting upset or angry over anything. The best most people could say about him is his 'professionalism'. He takes everything he does from school to his club very seriously to an almost comedic effect given how eccentric the club president can be.

History:
The World National Government. An idea praised as one of humanity's best attempts at world peace instead became a conduit for greater violence. A controlling and ruthless organization they've kept the lesser global powers under their thumb for decades, crushing the sparking rebellions that pop up like weeds every few years. The problem was that these small militias were getting bigger. And worse yet they were organizing between one another. While mobile combat suits -- or mecha as they're casually referred to -- became the norm in standard land combat it seemed as if these rebels were building their own at a disquieting pace. Ever grasping for that absolute control the WNG started several black projects far, far away from public eyes.

Nathaniel Winters, formerly Subject C8, was one of these projects. Whether he was born naturally, grown in a test tube or cloned is up for debate for anyone outside of the project and Nathan himself no longer cares which it was. It didn't matter. Whatever the case he was very young, probably just a baby when he was inducted into one of the highly immoral super soldier experiments.

While most projects were in place to create amazing foot soldiers or specialized mecha pilots, Project C8 was special. Years back the WNG discovered alien technology crash landed on earth. They covered up the event and moved the advanced tech to one of their labs, studying for years and failing in several other projects until the success that was C8.

The advanced, often unstable xeno tech was implemented into a combat mecha designed to take advantage of it's rather strange features. And Nathan was designed to pilot it. The child underwent extreme gene modification and accelerated aging to reach an acceptable peak, losing a decade off his life in the process. With his body able to work with the alien tech rather than being overwhelmed or killed by it he became the only one able to pilot it.

Finally the weapon now named Ragnarok was unleashed upon the world and it's pilot became known as the herald of death Fenrir. Both of them proved to be a great asset to the WNG as it easily did the work of ten standard suits if not more. Nathan was an attack dog for the government, taking down anything he was pointed at with ruthless efficiency. Only the top of the line suits the resistance built were capable of withstanding Ragnarok's assault and even then he'd taken down his fair share of them.

After such a long time in the field it was a bit of a stretch for the young man to go into a recon role. While the war was still raging out in the world at large there was a target they wanted taken down. A young pilot whom intelligence says has taken to hiding in a high school among all the students. The mission was clear. Find the rebel pilot. Kill them. Destroy their suit. Simple.

Equipment:

jura_mech_battle_suit_by_ryonok-d6vss5b_zpsqrnvm2s6.jpg

The Ragnarok -
A WNG creation fusing human and alien technology, the Ragnarok was designed with close combat in mind. Long range weapons are entirely missing and medium ranged artillery is limited though these were done intentionally rather than due to limitations or lack of compatibility. Despite being the same size as a standard mecha and not all that sleek it's easily one of the fastest in existence, the alien tech pushing the suit to the limits of being almost unfollowable by the human eye or most tracking systems. This along with the experimental 'kinetic diffusion' system -- a transparent energy shield that disperses and stops ballistics before they can strike and damage the suits -- it's very difficult to pin it down from range.

On the offensive side it may look simple, almost primal at first. The claws are the most obvious weapon, powered by high pressure hydraulic clamps that let the Ragnarok grab ahold of other units and rip them to shreds. For tougher materials the left arm is equip with a high frequency saw, able to cut through materials at the most base level to slice them like hot butter. Along with these obvious features the suit's claws have an achoring system, allowing them to be fired to drag in other units or scale structures.

Perhaps the most important part comes from the aforementioned alien tech. The reason only a specialized pilot can drive it and pilot is the integration system. The suit creates a link between it and the pilot, allowing for full synchronization with the suit and all it's functions. In laymen terms the suit isn't so much piloted like a vehicle as much as it's treated like a suit of armor. This allows for more awareness of his surroundings as his sense are plugged into the sensory programming of the suit directly as well as more fine control than that of a simple system of control sticks or other imprecise controls. It's greatest drawback is that due to this connection high levels of damage to the suit during interrogation can cause traumatic damage to the host as well.

Abilities:
Besides the attunement required to pilot the Ragnarok, Nathan was also given extensive gene therapy to improve his physical and mental capabilities as a whole.

Skills:
Trained from a young age, Nathan is an expert at small arms usage and maintenance, Sambo fighting style, proficiency with most land vehicles and some advanced close range knife combat.

Reasons for joining club:
After the mission director's instructions to make sure he 'blended in', Nathan joined up in a club activity at complete random in order to meld into school life more naturally, something he has struggled with since the beginning.

Voice Actor:
Derek Stephen Prince

Counterpart Requirement:
An important/special member of a rebellion group in the secret war. Possible former NWG agent is possible.

Name

Shin Akiyama

Other Names

Kogarashi, his mother's maiden name, which he prefers to go by when referred to by his surname, though no one actually calls him this.

Hero Club

Gender

Male

Age

17 years old

Grade

High School, Second Year

Birthday

January 11

Species

Human

Genre

Supernatural

Series Name

Cadence

Description

He stands at approximately 170 cm, and weighs around 66 kg. He's often seen with a scar running across a lip, and though some might think that the scar is a result of a fight, it's actually just him and his bad habit of peeling his lips.

Personality

On the surface, one could say that Shin is a good example of a "normal person," though he's not exactly the embodiment or epitome of that archetype or anything. Not like those other pesky main characters in other series where the personality was mostly up to the viewer to identify with or something. Self-inserting, it's called. But I shan't get too meta here.

Like other "normal" people, Shin is able to get embarrassed and flustered just as easily as he can be sarcastic and mean. Typical of a "hero," he has a good sense of right and wrong, but might choose to act for himself from time to time like a "normal person" would. Yet his existence is something of an enigma. He dislikes conflict and fighting, but he's not necessarily a pacifist. He's a little laid back and lazy, but not exactly out of shape. He has a bad habit of letting out a sort of melancholic aura without meaning to, but he's not always like that or anything. He never smiles, yet he never talks as though there's anything particularly wrong in his life. He's not really happy, nor is he particularly sad. At least, that's what he'd say. He simply exists.

Of course, like every "normal person" as well, Shin has a few skeletons in his closet when it comes to who he is, but one can only find out if they were to interact with him. And skeletons are generally spookier when they come out of a nicer looking closet.

Though I will say that he loves puzzles and mysteries though, even if he's hardly any more skilled at solving them than most other people. And he can come off as deadpan even when he doesn't really mean to; he just isn't a very reactive person.

History

Once upon a time, Shin lived an ordinary life with ordinary parents in an ordinary world. There was nothing out of the ordinary for him when he was young. He went to school, made good grades, made friends, had a decent relationship with both of his parents, and so on. But like with any other story, the sense of normalcy and peace didn't last very long in relation to when Cadence starts. Never does. On a night like any other, abruptly enough at the age of 14, his house was attacked by an unidentified assailant, murdering his parents. Cliche as it might be, the trauma from witnessing such an event is what would awaken supernatural abilities within Shin, said abilities allowing the boy to ward off the intruder, who would apparently never return for the boy, though his existence remains etched into young Shin's memory forever. Doesn't help that the assailant was never identified, and no motive was ever ascertained.

And then from there, Shin's life would cease to be normal forever. More so than he'd realize even, as little did the boy know, it was the day he ceased to be human.

Shortly after, the boy, who had since become almost catatonic from the stress, would be taken in by a mysterious man he had never met before who claimed to be an old family friend, a statement seemingly backed up by Shin's uncles and aunts, who would proceed to make no move to take Shin in and instead let the so-called family friend do so first, oddly enough. Still, Shin never took any measures to try to escape, too immobile and mentally incapable of resisting. Even after Shin would eventually recover after months and months of therapy, by then, most of the suspicion he held for the man, his legal guardian who went by the name "Moso," had subsided. It wasn't exactly Stockholm syndrome or anything weird like that, but Shin figured that if "Moso" intended any harm, he'd have made his move by now.

Still, even after three years of living with him, Shin feels something... off about Moso, their relationship somewhat awkward and unfamiliar, and for some odd reason, no one in the family seems to be willing to take Shin off Moso's hands under the belief that he would be far better off in the self-proclaimed family friend's hands than anyone else's. Though the man was friendly enough, he never let Shin learn anything about him, including his job, how he came to know the family, and so on, so for all Shin was concerned, Moso was more a "guy who paid the bills and occasionally kept a close eye on him for some reason" rather than a real legal guardian, though Shin didn't mind it.

Over the three years that had passed, Shin tinkered around with his powers in his free time, curious about the strange force that had saved his life. It was as though he were some sort of psychic or esper with these strange powers that no one else seemed to have, and Shin tried his best to hide these powers, believing that little good would come out of drawing attention to himself and these powers, even from Moso. A normal person might have been more excited and went about with abusing these powers, but truth be told, Shin often forgot he even had these kinds of powers on him.

And then, enter his second year in high school.

Recently, strange happenings (gas leak explosions, mysterious murders, and disappearances) had been going on in town, and Moso had been far more paranoid in general lately. And Shin has been feeling something strange about his powers lately... Like something had been welling up inside him, beckoning for him to let it all out. Occasionally, he'll even feel a small sense of dread, akin to how he felt when he was faced with the intruder who attacked his family long ago.

Meanwhile, alleged sightings of "demons" have been sighted in the cold, dark depths of town lately... The quiet life was going to end real soon.

Equipment

Nothing notable. Well, at the moment anyway.

Abilities

Seijaku - A sort of "powered-up" form that Shin has access to, it activates automatically in times of stress, akin to that of an adrenaline rush. It can be said that this is Shin's standard "fighting" form, should he be forced into a situation where he must fight or flee (though his body will very rarely choose to flee, despite his seemingly somewhat scrawny appearance). He becomes more cold and violent, though not necessarily out of control if one tries hard enough to get him back. His eyes become a bright shade of blue, and he becomes superhuman in many aspects; he hits harder, moves & reacts faster, and can sustain more punishment than the average human, though to what extent for all of these "boosts" are unknown for the time being. So far, in his life, it's only been activated twice.

Senbo - In a nutshell, it mainly provides Shin with the ability to mimic the abilities of others, moreso than he realizes at the moment. Through close observation with his eyes, he can imitate, for a relatively brief period of time, select skills of other people. For example, he could look at a person playing an instrument he is normally not familiar with, like a violin or a cello or so, and after analyzing the playing, he would be able to become a skilled player for a moment as well.

This extends into not only other skills that are more difficult to "replicate" as one might think, like using weapons, but also other supernatural abilities as well, though for those kinds of abilities that are not capable of being performed by a normal human, he must have physical contact, usually by any sort of touching that lasts for a duration of two seconds, before being able to replicate such supernatural abilities, as simply observing such a comparatively abstract ability is unable to be aptly analyzed from just optic examination.

For both cases of imitation, however, his potency with the "borrowed" power is a fraction of the original's potency. If he were to recreate an attack from someone that was able to destroy a skyscraper, Shin would only be able to destroy roughly four floors or so.

The amount of time he is able to "remember" a stolen ability depends on the complexity required to analyze it. He could see someone play one song on an instrument once and could how to play that song (but not necessarily be skilled with the instrument in general) for months, be a skilled practitioner of CQC for several hours, or perform the supernatural abilities of others for several minutes, give or take.

Skills

Despite Senbo making him potentially decent at anything (for a limited time only), he's naturally good at a few other things as well:

Cooking - As expected of a pretty housebroken guy, right?

Piano - Plays a good tune here and there.

Video games - Everyone... needs a hobby.

Reasons for joining club

Looks good on a resume, doesn't it? Oh, and helping people is good too or something.

Voice Actor

Kenji Nojima

Counterpart Requirements

Can be either a demon posing as a human or a human with powers like Shin. I dunno, I'm not really picky in actuality, though one could just talk to me about it if need be.

Other Information

As mentioned above, he has a bad habit of peeling at his lips.

He doesn't smile. Well, you might see him occasionally very lightly doing it when he's amused by a joke or feeling bashful or something, but you won't see him pull a genuine smile. At least, not unless you try real hard.

"Senbo" means "envy," which totally means something.

Name: Ann Roslyn

Other Names: M.E.O. (Model Eve Omega)-> Her Birth name, Omega, Eve, Chief, BSPO (Binary's Safety Patrol Officer)

Occult Society

Gender
: Female.

Age: 12

Birthday: June 31

Real Age: 2 years old (She has been active for two WHOLE YEARS)

Grade: Middle school year 1

Species: Artificial Organism

Genre: Cyberpunk

Series Name: Lost Generation

Reason for joining: To learn knew things

Description:
Her eyes are blue (her right eye turns red in combat, anger, in a aggressive mode, or when she wants it too.).
125 cm 45 kg

Personality: Three words best describe MEO: Energetic, Creative, and Sadistic.

MEO is mothers ultimate weapon. She is capable of leveling cities alone and she knows it. With this superiority, she goes into most fights thinking of the fun ways she could play with her opponents. She also has a funny way of expression her love of order. If someone breaks the law then she educates them through disorder, hoping that they will see the errors of their ways. Once they have learn their lessons, she sends them to hell to pass on her teachings. This of course is only if mother wills it, or through self defense. All of this is done while looking cute and with innocence.

MEO tries to stay positive, encouraging her opponents to try harder. More often then not, she will give them a chance to try out any plan they have to destroy her before retaliating. She also loves to use their own weaponry against them to show them how they should be used. Overall she is one big taunt who has the bite to back it up.

MEO is not strictly a battle only creature. She has her own interest too. When she is not cleaning the streets of criminal activity through excessive force, she takes up gardening. When interacting with people she cannot kill, she acts like she is number one. She has very weak social skills when dealing with non targets. She easily gets upset when confused and tries really hard to fit in it is not working.

ALSO SHE FEARS NOTHING... except the crickets. omg she will wet her pants if she saw a cricket let alone hear the chirping... and worst of all, ALL CRICKETS LOVE HER. Like literally, she like a cricket magnet. And once the cricket sees her, it becomes a super cricket that can dodge bullets and survive Atomic NUKES as it jumps casually to say hi to MEO and show its love by giving her a hug.

History: Mother, the creator of Binary, one of richest corporation in the world who secretly plays a role controlling the world through corruption and fat checks, wanted her own child to battle the youth which threaten her Company. She was too old to give birth so she took her DNA and her nanobot technology and constructed series of little girls. Her final creation was MEO and she was her most perfect creation. Inside her body was a trillions of little nanobots which could do amazing and dangerous things. MEO created fear controlled the population under the title of Binary's Safety Patrol Officer and captured bad guys left and right. Though the innocent might have been hurt, it was all done in the name of good. The good of Mother.

Then she ran into a force which she could not put down. Someone "almost as powerful as her." Someone who she would strive to make bow down to her and become her partner forever, Éclair. Éclair took down Mother's Binary Safety Patrol like a child's play. MEO would watch and learn. Until the day Mother Ordered her to take down Éclair. MEO had mix feelings about the mission. Though she wanted to end the criminals reign and receive praise from Mother, she also did not want to crush her crush. So she made a decision. As they battle the match they were dead even. Blow for blow, bullet for bullet. They where evenly match. Then MEO made her choice to throw the fight. She recklessly dived Éclair and left he self open to, allowing Éclair to defeat her. Still, MEO managed to injure Éclair enough to halt her advancement resulting in an overall draw

It was a scene of ecstasy, such power to damage her so badly. She was in heaven from the thought of being able to lose. To think someone was strong enough beat her. MEO had to become stronger for if she didn't she would not be able to pull out more power out of her love. She had to become stronger. She had to win and the next time Mother order them to fight, she had to be ready to capture her love.

(She is not a masochist. She just likes a good fight. )

Equipment: Nanobots. (Though they are technically inside of her... they count right) Energy Orbs which can recharge her or act as grenades.

Abilities:
MEO's left eye has 3 modes. Normal (blue), Heat (Red), Night (Green). Heat and night are self explanatory. Normal vision is normal except they also allow her to use her imitate ability.

MEO's imitate ability grants MEO the ability to mimicry. Anything she sees and understands (or thinks she understands) she can mimic. The mimicry will vary. If it is a physical motion, She can copy the technique and movements perfectly while adding her own twist or strength to it. If it is a skill (like shooting), she can gain the technique and perform at that level, if not better because of her past experiences (Example, she already knows how to use a gun, so if she mimics a sniper, she will obtain an even superior level of expertise the the original user). If it is something that humans cannot preform (like flying), then she will use her ability to reconstruct machine to imitate the ability (so for flying she will construct a jet pack, for use of fire magic she might use grenades or a flame thrower)

MEO's nanobots can reconstruct MEO's body as long as at least her heart, brain, or backup chip is not damage. However the reconstruction is slow for repairs for heavy damage but she can recover from minor wounds pretty fast.

MEO's Nanobots can also modify her body to mimic machines or vehicles. They also can leave her body and reconstruct weapons but this limits her recovery.

Her body is genetically engineered to be extremely durable and strong. She can get hit by a car going 60 mphs per hour and escape with only minor bleeding. She can also then pick up that care and throw it several meters away, one handed and without breaking a sweat. Her eye sight is enhanced to that of a hawk and she is very flexible. Though she is not as durable or strong as Éclair, she is faster and has a bigger arsenal of weaponry.

Skills: She is good at gardening. Just saying... Purple flowers are her favorite.

Common transformations for her nanobots are (mind you she thinks Bigger is better), Drill hands, Hand energy cannons, Gatling guns. Missile launchers (one shot, every other shot requires a energy orb because of how fat the missile) which can blow up a room, flame throwers. Hammers. Blade wings, jet pack

Companions: Mother

Voice Actor: Midori Tsukimiya: Eucliwood Hellscythe

Counterpart Requirements: (i am the counterpart)

Other: Her one big weakness no joke is her eyes. Though she is fully capable of fighting without them, She relies on them too much, to the point of possibly going into a panic if she thinks she is blind.

Name: Kimiko Martin (Yes, I know it's not a Japanese surname. Bear with me, all will be explained.)

Other Names/Aliases:

Gender: Female

Civilian Appearance: Standing at 1.50 m even, Kimiko has black hair and brown eyes with slightly European features, inherited from her father. She is horrifically nearsighted and has to wear thick glasses to compensate. Her fashion choices out of school are rather girly; a lot of bright tops and skirts.

Hero Outfit: A sky-blue top and knee length skirt, with white boots and gloves. Curiously, she also carries a bow, but neither quiver nor arrows.

Hero Club

Age: 12

Birthday: March 29

First-year middle school

Species: Human

Genre: Mahou Shoujo (As if it wasn't obvious)

Show Name: Magic Wind!

Personality: As one would expect from a wind wielder, Kimiko is, well, an airhead. She's known for barely passing every single class. It's not that she's trying to do the minimum work possible; she tries her damnedest, but she's just not that smart. This obliviousness carries over to her new career as the avatar of destruction; she doesn't even realize the fellow magical girl she's supposed to be watching sits two seats over in math class. That said, she's a good friend (once someone works up the courage to risk their social standing by talking to her) and personally loyal to a fault, and she'll willingly risk her neck for others... even if the head that's attached to said neck isn't too bright. (Basically, for you western TV fans, think Coop from MEGAS XLR as a magical girl, and you'll get the general gist.)

Background: Kimiko's entire life is described by one word: outsider. Her mother made the mistake of falling in love with a low-ranking member of the British Embassy, so being half-English meant that she was, quite frankly, a social outcast. Not having enough of a brain to be a science geek or physically skilled enough to be an athlete didn't help, and she became a loner by default. But two years, it got worse. Two years ago, The Great Typhoon hit Osaka.

What Kimiko remembered most was the wind. Howling, terrifying, it seemed almost like heaven itself was screaming in rage. Her home was badly damaged, forcing the family to move to Tokyo, and she had nightmares for months. Last week, she was approached by a talking ball of light, who identified himself as Raiijo, Lord of Destruction. After managing to get over her shock when he proved his identity, Kimiko agreed to sign a contract with him. As she signed her name on the magical scroll, she thought of the winds from that storm, the most destructive thing she could recall. When she finished putting her signature on the line, she found she had an instinctive knowledge of the winds and could command them.

Equipment: Her magic bow, which rarely misses, and, in a nod to Susanoo, transforms into a comb as a disguise.

Abilities: Flight. It's not very fast, or very high, but she's getting better at it.

Aerokinesis: Kimiko can manipulate the air, though due to the fact that her patron is the god of destruction, she doesn't have a lot of fine control.

Aerial Arrow: Drawing back the string on her bow, she can cause an arrow of solidified air to appear on the bowstring before firing it. She can also multiply the arrows mid-flight (up to a dozen), but doing so is very taxing.

Aerial Shield: Conjures a swirling razor wind around her body that shreds incoming projectile attacks. Doesn't stop magic or energy blasts, though.

Vortex Cannon: Kimiko sucks the air around her into a ball before releasing it in a sudden hurricane-force blast that can clear a four lane road for a couple of blocks.

Skills: The one mundane thing she's skilled at is cooking. She can whip up everything from vegetables and noodles to roast lamb.

Companions: Takashi, a fellow magician who's contracted to a very minor fire spirit. He's been helping her with her magic, and Kimiko's starting to think she might just be falling for him...

Reasons for joining Hero club: To help people and learn more about magic.

Voice Actor: Can't think of one at the moment, but her voice is a little squeaky, even when heroing.

Other: None

Name: Two

Other Names: Jem (Jeminas) Kato

Hero Club

Gender
: Male.

Age: 17
Real Age: 21

Species: Human

Genre: Fantasy

Series Name: ???

Description: 179 cm tall, 81.93 kg.

Personality: Jem's bloodline has been known to be adversely cold to the people around them, though it does not stop them from being protective. If someone is intentionally trying to anger him, or anything close to it, it generally is brushed off, though if one of his comrades is threatened or injured...... well, we don't talk about them anymore. He follows a strict form of comradery, and holds it to himself to follow it.

History: Jem was born to a family where the biggest thing that you walked away knowing was that his job was to defend, period. There was no specific thing to defend against, but more of everything. His family was blessed that they would have a weapon that would be able to aid them on their mission, though it was only a single weapon. When he was born, trained, and ready, he acquired the same blessing. The outcome made him the center of question as not only did he receive one blessed blade, a blade that could utilize a single element, he received two blessed blades. The red can burst into flame, whereas the blue is covered in water or ice. His father hid this from the rest of the family, and told him he was only allowed to show the blue one, which he obeyed. In secret, he was trained to fight with both equally as strong, and impressive together.

Months later, he was sent on a trip to learn about surviving on his own, and returned to almost his entire family killed. Of the survivors, only one other made it out alive. He had found his father on the edge of death, and was given two orders: Defend and Survive.

Equipment: His twin blessed blades, him being the first to acquire both. The red is linked to flame, whereas the blue is linked to water. With the use of each one, the entire arm is covered in a plated armor, either having streaks of the same color through the hand. When not in use, the two blades look like two rings (naturally, they reflect the color of the element), one on either finger.
Like I stated above, they are just colored the same, so one is red, the other is blue.
FF7_Water_ring.png

Abilities: Without the blades, he is able to control either element weakly. He also has amazing eyesight, which can be compared to a falcon, and his physical traits are about one half stronger than the strongest, fastest, most balanced, ect (normal human, not other char)

Skills: He is an amazing tracer (parkour), he can also cook and sew.

Companions: With him, he has a stunted panda, which can fight nearly as good as he can. Jem had grown up with him, after raising the panda from birth. Her name is Nyu.
latest

Voice Actor: (Naturally, everyone understands him, this is just the best I could get at his voice how I thought of it)
[media]

Reasons for joining club: It provides him a chance to discuss with others what specific thing he should be defending against, and gives him a chance to have people to talk with about defending.

Counterpart Requirements: I would prefer it if my counterpart was someone who didn't use just swords like Jem has, maybe if they used like a fist weapon, or maybe a hammer? You get the idea there. I would also like it if they had something to do with the killing of his family, as that is one of the reasons for his complex.

Other Information: He kinda has a defense complex..... it's kinda weird to explain, and I don't know how drastic it will be yet..... I guess we will find out together...

Occult Society Applications

tumblr_nnd8m9vUMV1rjwyb2o2_1280.jpg

Is 1m 45cm in height.

Name: Is referred to as Akucchi (derived from the Japanese pronunciation of her title - Akuma no Kuchi)

Other Names: Demon's Maw (Written as: "神の強さをむさぼり食う者" "Kami no Tsuyosa o musabori kuu mono" "One who devours the strength of Gods")

Occult Society

Gender:
Female

Age: 12

Real Age: Somewhere in the vicinity of... Warning: Obscenely large number [spoili] 18 [/spoili]

Grade: First year middle school. The Loli class.

Species: Human obviously. Geez why do people always assume the villains will be vampires or demons or something?

Genre: Mahou Shoujo. Cos generic Mahou Shoujo is boring. Gon spice it up a bit.

Series Name: Aren't Mahou Shoujo shows usually named after the protagonist? In which case: Mahou Shoujo Actually Interesting Setting* (protagonist mahou shoujo name)
*Interesting setting may or may not be interesting. Warranty void if setting turns out not to be interesting.

Series Description: Magical Girls in this universe are created by a demon contracting with a human. Contrary to most, the human can be of any age and any gender, though teenage females are the most compatible with the power so are usually the ones chosen. The Contract will almost always contain a spell that freezes the aging process of the contracted human, so elderly magical girls are unheard of. These "Demons" are residents of a separate plane of existence, and cannot manifest in the human world by themselves, so they use the human as a host. In exchange, they grant the human a portion of their power, in a mutually beneficial symbiotic relationship. Some demons will have goals they want to accomplish, but most are usually happy just being able to manifest partially in the human world thanks to their host, so don't ask much more. Often, a transformation can be used which will enhance the powers of the magical girl, though there's nothing stopping them using the abilities while not transformed. What form their abilities take is down to the demon they contracted with - for example, a fire demon would grant fire-based abilities. Should the human die, the demon's anchor will be detached and they will return to the demon world, so they will often expend a good deal of strength to preserve their host. This means that if a magical girl is close to death, then they will gain significant boosts in their abilities as a kind of last resort.

Description: She has vampire-like canines, and sharp, retractable claws. When retracted, they look like human nails. These are a side effect of her manifesting in demon form 4 years ago, and seem never to have returned to being fully human.

Personality: Akucchi is the kind of person who would willingly throw you under a bus if it was necessary for her own survival. Or at least, she likes to think that she is. I suppose you could consider her somewhat similar to a tsundere, only about friends rather than love interests. A kind of tsundachi perhaps. She likes to think that she has no need for friends. Despite this, she likes to show off and will often go to unusual lengths while completing simple tasks.

History: Akucchi actually has a very boring past. She was born, like most humans. She attended elementary school, like most humans. She started her first year of middle school, like most humans. She encountered a demon, unlike most humans. This is where things start to get interesting.

Akucchi contracted with the demon at the age of 12. She probably wouldn't have usually, but she had binge watched an awesome anime that morning and she was feeling depressed about not having badass powers. After obtaining them, she dropped out of school and took up a line of work as "A Protagonist". She would slay monsters of an unexplained origin, and obtain strange crystals that she would sell to someone who for some other unexplained reason was willing to buy them. After a couple of years, she noticed she didn't age, which would have been a bit of a problem if her parents had noticed, so she faked her death and moved to a city at the other end of the country.

This was quite a fortunate decision, as soon after, her Contract Nullified ability surfaced. She consumed her contracted demon and manifested its full powers in this world, becoming a full blown monster. At this time, the God of Destruction and his previous contractor attempted to defeat her. They failed, and the contractor died, although the God of Destruction, with help of various other demons, did manage to seal her manifested form. Currently, she wields around the same strength she would as a normal magical girl contracted to a demon, except she now has 2 extra things - the ability to contract multiple times, and knowledge that should she remove her Cocytus, she would be able to overpower the entire world. In exchange, her memories were erased. It appears she cannot possess both long term memories and Contract Nullified, with the ability taking priority. If something should become "just a memory", she will forget about it. This included her name, apparently, so she decided to take the name Akuma no Kuchi - usually shortened to Akucchi by her peers.

For the next 3 years, she pursued information as to her ability, but otherwise continued her job as normal. It was not before she contracted with and consumed the Warp Master that she realised she make good use of this multi-contract ability. 8 months ago, she began research into the locations of uncontracted and desperate Demons, and discovered that a certain school had an unusual connection to the Demon's realm. Eager to investigate this, she enrolled in the first year of middle school there, and decided her best path would be to join the supernatural investigation society and see what the chair of that knew.

Equipment: A pendant named Cocytus (Acts like a seal, and prevents her abilities from going out of hand. If this pendant were removed, she would likely die instantly, in a very dramatic fashion.)

Abilities:
Contract Nullified: Her own inherent ability. Normally, a Magical Girl is created by the girl contracting with a demon or magical creature of another variety, which would give the girl access to a portion of the creature's abilities. Should a demon contract with Akucchi, she will instead consume it, killing the demon and gaining its full power for herself. The Cocytus is used to seal the excess abilities of the demons and narrow them into a form she can properly control.
Malevolent Vein: An ability gained from her first contractor, Arbiter of the Cursed Blood. She can freely control her blood, hardening it into a crystalline material, or transforming it into a highly acidic poison. She can also move it as if telepathically, provided that the blood being controlled remains in contact with her body, or is within 2 meters of it. [spoili] Sorta completely like this, cos it's cool af and I have no shame about borrowing the ability.
0a9d33830fc1d5d1f1e0fa1813ac3caa7580666a_hq.gif
[/spoili]
Dimensional Anchor: An ability gained from her second contract, Warp Master Decarabia. She can mark a certain location as an Anchor Point, then teleport back to that location instantly, once every 5 minutes, provided she is within 3km of it. Most people think it is impossible for a demon to be this weak, so it is reckoned that the Cocytus misjudged his power and is sealing more of the skill than it should. She doesn't want to risk tampering with the cocytus and accidentally destroying the world, so seeks to improve this ability simply by consuming another teleporter. Speaking of which, she's advertising spots right now. If you know any demon interested in being the contractor of a powerful magical girl, please send them this way!
Doublestep: Akucchi has now consumed a second teleport-type demon; Phantasmal Image Steve. Upon activation, Akucchi will send 2 ethereal copies of herself 3 meters right and left of her current position (according to the direction she's facing). While all 3 images exist, she can teleport between these at will, though there is a 1 second cooldown after teleporting. If she teleports, she will assume the same position and momentum of the image, and her original position will become an image. The images will be destroyed if the real akucchi is hit. Otherwise, hitting an image with even the weakest attack will cause it to shatter dramatically. The images can move independently and pretend to attack, but damage they deal is hallucinatory only - it will hurt but won't inflict real damage. Imagine Doubleteam from pokemon or one of those hundreds of anime characters who can make hundreds of copies of themselves (except there are only 2 copies). The copies can't move further than 10 meters from Akucchi. If they do, they will spring back to within range, kind of like a glitch on a bad video game.

Skills: Akucchi is a somewhat competent sword fighter. After she gained her first contract, she trained for a year or so against a retired magical girl. She learned enough to hold her own, but she can't do the ridiculous flourishes or complex combo moves yet.

Companions: Companions are for noobs who can't rely on their own strength. Also for people with more than one really cute character who wants to utilise all of them in the battle party, not just one and leaving the rest in reserve.

Reasons for joining club: To search for contract worthy demons.

Voice Actor: I don't really keep track of voice actors so... here's a video demonstrating her voice.

Warning: Spoilers of Owari no Seraph. Do not watch unless you are OK with it being spoiled. [spoili] Are you sure you want to look at this? The title of the video itself is a spoiler so only click this if you are definitely OK with it. [spoili]
[/spoili]

Counterpart Requirements: The "protagonist" is contracted with the most powerful demon, Raiijo, the God of Destruction. What form the powers granted by Raiijo take are up to the player, though they must fit the image of "destruction on the level of a God". The God of Destruction's objective is to prevent the creation of a creature that contains the power of thousands of deities, and, unable to actually destroy Akucchi, instead played a role in building the Cocytus.

A vacation, procrastination, and one unsaved sheet later here's a sign up if that's okay

Name: Iku Arata

Other Names:

Hero Club

Gender
:
Female

Age: 15

Real Age: 15

Grade: Second Year High Schooler

Birthday: July 18

Species: Human

Genre: Martial Arts

Series Name: School Fighter Arata

Description: 158 cm tall and weighs 52 kg.

Personality:
A rather eccentric person who, while not exactly overactive, is not reluctant to speak with people. Almost impossible to bother, she tends to just roll with anything that happens, regardless of how strange it is. She's an honest girl who puts things as she sees them and doesn't hesitate to speak about nearly anything. Unlike many people, she only has one face at all times. Though this comes with the side effect of a lack of social situational awareness, her behavior sometimes not being appropriate for where she is or the current situation. She has a habit of showing off when possible, but then denying doing so. Whether this is the one thing she isn't straightforward about or she sincerely doesn't believe it was flashy is yet to be known.

History:
It is unknown where Iku came from, but she arrived as a transfer student at Sensen High School. Little did she know that it was a school where all conflicts were resolved by violence, rather than something practical and safe like authorities or words. In any case, she adapted quickly, not really minding this fact. She blew through the school, eventually becoming the more or less uncontested "dictator" due to sheer martial prowess. But then the fighting continued as the schools themselves began to go to war. All sorts of fighting styles clashed against each other as battles of fighters from across the country became common. It was during these battles that Iku encountered the first person she couldn't overcome in a fight. Training to complete her fighting style, she then would continue her adventure to unite all of Japan.

Equipment: Clothes.

Abilities:
Pigeon Style Martial Arts - A form of martial arts focused almost entirely on high flying kicks and starting grapples with one's legs. Not exactly a supernatural ability, but hey.

Phoenix Style Martial Arts - The more esoteric side to her martial arts. Focuses on manipulation of her Sengenki, or fighting energy, to perform techniques with more power, speed, and precision.

Due to her training, she's much stronger than normal people. In addition, her Phoenix Style allows her to fight with more superhuman abilities.

Flight - With two styles based on birds, this was bound to happen. Self=explanatory, though takes energy.

Illusion Nervic Strike - By lashing out and sending her Sengenki into her target, she can send illusions directly into their mind.

Shadowless Drill - Inexplicably, one leg lashes out multiple times in the blink of an eye with no time for even a shadow to appear.

Skills:
-CQC, obviously.
-Opening boxes, envelopes, etc.

Companions:
She has friends, sorta, and subjects. They're just kind of far away.

Reasons for joining club: Her school has no clubs since all their time is spent beating each other up, so she joined a club elsewhere to do things other than fight.

Voice Actor:
WIP

Counterpart Requirements: Fighting ability/martial art and don't be an alien or something lol

Real Age:
"...S-Still 16..."

Grade:
Second Year High School

Birthday:
3rd September

Species:
Human (?)

Genre:
Mecha

Series Name:
RaiZer: Freedom War

Description:
Overall, Tenkai seems to possess a complexion that's a smidge darker compared to the average Japanese youth. Standing at 1 meter and 73 centimeters tall, he is rather thin for a boy his age, but definitely not enough to be deemed lanky (or worse, unhealthy). Indeed, another person could easily feel good health radiating from his energized stature alone. Tenkai is most commonly seen outfitted in his signature vest, shirt and shorts, complete with a pair of running shoes - sans the socks, however. While a pursuer of better self-health, Tenkai rarely concerns himself with his attire, and mostly goes out in whatever makes him feel most comfortable and is easy to move around in.

He wields eyes that are capable of narrowing into a sharp and cold gaze at times, hiding the well-meaning youth away inside...

Personality:
An independent lad that nevertheless is going to need some help with the homework, Tenkai, or "Gai" as he likes to be called, is a brave young man with a good heart and a natural drive to help those around him. He is straightforward and rather simple on the surface, preferring to do away with pretenses and announcing to the whole world exactly what he thinks of something. That's not to say he's always cruelly blunt with his opinions. Rather, he is the other way around, and as such Tenkai will struggle with the truth just as often as others. He dislikes it when people make mention of his family name or its literal meaning. Quietly, Tenkai often worries that he lacks the proper amount of responsibility befitting a young man growing into his adult shoes. While in the past, his mother had always proceeded to tell him that this pressure was only his father's influence working on him, he hasn't yet been strongly convinced.

Despite this, Tenkai is often pulled into the spur of the moment, and he wouldn't think twice to join in on the fun of others in his vicinity, be they a hot-blooded sports tournament or just some random shenanigans on the side. He is quick to accept others as they are without judging them, and can easily empathize with the "less-normal" crowd, a quality which in hindsight only serves to further his aforementioned worries. Adding to this, he is oft fascinated by the darkly and the supernatural. His childhood, during which this quality displayed itself much more strongly, is often dominated by the earnest research towards ghosts and ghouls alike in his leisure. Nowadays, this attraction has mostly died down due to the rise of other, new obligations, though it still surfaces time and time again, lending to his imaginative side.

Normally, Tenkai is a relaxed fellow who likes to be seen by others as easily-approachable, and is quite dependable to boot. Because he is still human, however, he is vulnerable to becoming tired and losing any sense of restraint should the push becomes too much for even himself to bear. Possessing a strong idea of right and wrong, Tenkai is all about protecting the innocent, but he can just as quickly become a merciless executioner for those with nefarious intentions. When pitted against great odds, Tenkai is prone to dangerously dive head-long into the fire for the sake of others. He values actions over words, and quick actions even more so. He trusts those with more experience in a certain matter, and thus shows the corresponding level of respect.

And while he would give his life for his friends and compatriots, the same couldn't be said for his enemies. To the youth, all the villains deserve is justice by his hands. Without the boy realizing it, this foolishness is what would come to mold his forthcoming days, as the strings of destiny begin to unravel...

History:
Ever since his parents divorced amicably, Tenkai has been working his best to lessen the burden on the two of them, as well as his younger brother, who now lives with his parents in shared custody. He's since enlisted as a member of a volunteer office in town, which also doubles as his humble apartment nowadays. The office is run by a close family friend, whom Tenkai seeks to repay fully for promising to sponsor his education through his new high school and college in a few years' time. When not burying himself in his schoolwork and studies, Tenkai would work with the office to lend aid to the more rural areas in Japan, and sometimes even overseas.

On one of these sojourns of duty to the mainland by ship early this year, Tenkai was met upon by a foreign woman with bewitching appearance and surprisingly fluent grasp of the Japanese and Chinese languages. Before they could talk further, however, the ship was suddenly attacked by a force that sought to eliminate the woman, branding her a traitor. In the ensuing battle, the woman revealed her name to be Bellénova Prazińska, and that she needed his help. Once Belle had successfully fought off the attackers (thus saving him and largely everyone else on the ship), the pair escaped at port after a rather explosive epilogue to the battle that afterwards had made the woman's fate unclear to anyone else but the boy who helped her out of the water.

Quietly making their way back to his hometown, Belle used the entirety of the journey to explain to him slowly and carefully that she had known his recently deceased aunt and uncle, whom had worked for the same clandestine organization she had betrayed, called the "National World Government", or NWG. After coming to a conclusion based on the past battle that she could fully trust him, Belle delved further, telling Tenkai that while his aunt and uncle put up a front about devoting their lives to NWG to the point of being unable to raise children of their own, they were secretly mavericks themselves, working to ensure the world could one day be free from parasites such as the NWG.

Fearing that the NWG's staggering technological growths signal an early demise for the resistance and the ideals they had willingly fought this secret war for, the couple had worked for years on end, discreetly collaborating with various groups and individuals across the globe whom share the same goals, using the noise whipped up by the much louder resistance to cover their tracks. Belle proceeded to tell Tenkai that at one point in the last year, they had reached a breakthrough in their efforts, excavating something in the seas between Japan and mainland China after a peculiar seismic activity was recorded in the very same area. Having befriended the couple, Belle was moved to work together with them despite her initial orders, but sometime afterwards they were found out.

Only she managed to escape. Tenkai couldn't afford to shed any tears after hearing the woman's words, and he regretted this. He hadn't known them closely, but Tenkai always knew they were genuinely good people. Realizing he couldn't doubt the woman anymore, Tenkai vowed to help her new cause. With any and all previous routes of information now lost to her, Belle was forced to contact the branch of the world resistance in the nearby area. And they answered her call, introducing themselves as "Kogarasumaru". With the branch's help, they investigated the various liaisons of Tenkai's uncle and aunt.

After more than a month had passed, the group found themselves suddenly pulled into a desperate race towards the deserted industrial area on the outskirts of the prefecture. It was here, that the boy, for the sake of his family, and his newfound allies, for the sake of the world, would come face-to-face with the shape of the future...

Equipment:
Aside from random small things taken from his apartment and the clothes currently on his back, Tenkai carries with himself his wallet which contains all his money as well as identification, and a basic mobile phone (with camera) in a flip design. The phone has actually been subtly customized by Kogarasumaru to fulfill their illicit comm needs, and is capable of transmitting through a direct, encrypted line to headquarters for immediate contact after the proper steps have been taken.

[progress sketch no. 2 by Issei Nijimura]

- Raier -
Pronounced "ray-er", it appears as a horned giant humanoid, with a metallic grey and pale white body. Raier was discovered by Tenkai and Kogarasumaru in an underground makeshift laboratory beneath an abandoned factory. Records indicate it is a completely alien mechanical life form that possesses metal-like cells with the ability to self-repair. It is currently mostly unresponsive, save for mentally communicating with Tenkai, the first human to approach it after awakening, and its subsequent actions afterwards; moving forward with Tenkai's guidance to demolish the NWG's urban-type mobile weapons and forcing their sniper-type suits to retreat, therefore saving the resistance members, during the attack on Ebihara Industrial West Bloc.

This incident, which occurred in roughly the span of ten minutes, alerted the NWG to the apparent rise of the resistance's new, dangerous mobile suit. Following its discovery, the machine, now having a name, is kept in another undisclosed location, left behind after the city's project to revolutionize its sewage systems. There, it is continuously researched on by resistance scientists along with the documents found during the battle of Ebihara Industrial in order to discern its true nature. Among what's known so far is that the alien technology supposedly found by the NWG all those years ago fit the properties of Raier's structure, making it likely that the NWG's technologies and Raier come from the same source.

Most notably, Raier possesses the ability to pervade through the boundaries of space-time to a small extent, allowing it to appear wherever Tenkai needs its presence. After manifesting at his location, Raier teleports Tenkai on board to "function as its heart", as Kogarasumaru puts it. He then synchronizes with Raier, manipulating the giant machine from within a hollow sphere located in its chest lined with cords and fins. It is said that because its space-time function saps a great amount of its energy, the machine only ever makes use of its space-time ability to appear above ground, and then return to base afterwards. It may also use this ability to escape difficult situations, but there is always the possibility of failing if it attempts the full-body transportation effect during live battle.

For combat purposes on a lesser scale, Tenkai is able to call upon Raier to manifest its appendages (arms and legs, etc) around himself for protection or to command as his own, in which the outer shell of the summoned appendage envelops Tenkai's own limb. While this method is faster, the strength produced is also weaker. However, this also ranks the the lowest in terms of energy consumption, and when compared to Raier's own energy regain rate, Tenkai may sustain the appendages that he's summoned to himself for an indefinite amount of time. Because the manifested appendages are being sent through space-time through different channels (so to speak), each appendage will consume power parallel to each other. Summoning all four of Raier's limbs to himself will consume four times the amount of energy from the machine than only summoning one.

Besides its arms and legs, Raier seemingly carries no other notable form of weaponry (as of yet). However, scanning has been able to identify a certain mechanism embedded inside each of Raier's shoulders and hips. It is speculated that these "tulips" are capable of opening up, which would most likely be the case in the activation of the mechanism dubbed the "proton smasher". Possibly, it is a long-range weapon capable of detonating objects at extremely high-speeds similar to a rail gun. Furthermore, there have been interest in the functions surrounding Raier's horns. For now, Raier alone could reveal all of his own secrets, however, and at the moment he only seems interested at asking questions instead, even as Kogarasumaru braces for further battles with the NWG...

Abilities:
Apart from being quite the athlete, Tenkai by himself is nothing special compared to the average human. He normally has the strength of a young adult human, along with his other parameters. However, once he has resonated with Raier at a low level, he gains increased speed, endurance, and strength. While he can summon the giant machine Raier to his side, Tenkai also has the option to manifest only a small portion of the giant robot for a myriad of uses, from the mundane to the downright heroic. However, he mostly avoids from using it in his daily life, from fear of accidentally revealing Raier's existence to others around him. If in a pinch, he could always count on logistics support from Kogarasumaru HQ, as well as Belle's assistance.

Besides Raier and his constant curiosity towards Earth, Tenkai is also accompanied by Bellénova Prazińska, an ex-agent of NWG that now sides with the resistance. While the information she possesses on the NWG is invaluable, so are her abilities learned and perfected during her days working for the NWG. Realizing this, the resistance top brass has assigned her to protect Tenkai and Kogarasumaru to her best ability, putting her in the place of a recently-transferred employee from the United States for a company in town. To fill her new identity, she has taken up the nickname "Kushina" and begun to act more jovial and fun-loving, based on her own ideas of Americans. She has begun to drink and now makes jokes at Tenkai's expense more often. Around town, she is known to some as Tenkai's "new, sexy western girlfriend", a facade which she seemingly doesn't object to.

Originally, he took a fancy to the Occult Society, particularly due to a recent discovery of the English legend of the giant Gogmagog, which he imagined could have been another giant alien like Raier. Wishing to hear from a more experienced group, he unfortunately mixed up the Akizuki sisters' names and was pointed in the direction of the club led by Akane instead - the Hero Club! After being presented with the express chance to help a lot of people together with others, how can he turn away afterwards?

He's rather hard-working when it comes to his health, to the point that many at his previous school have touted him as a junior dietician. Tenkai keeps in contact with these very same friends through the net, mostly using his online handle above. Also, did you know gyozas can be surprisingly healthy and delicious?

Name:
Trauciel Hilbred

Other Names:
Trau (pronounced “trow”)

Occult Society

Gender:
Female

Age:
17

Real Age:
20

Species:
Ghost

Grade:
N/A

Birthday:
February 2nd

Genre:
Supernatural

Series Name:
Symphony of a Distraught Ghost

Description:
While she stands at 1.67 metres tall, Trauciel is virtually weightless (on account of being a ghost). Having left her physical body behind, Trau chooses to don the outfit of a maestro as a ghost. Her hair is white and her skin pale - the only outlying factor to all this blandness being her deep red eyes. She’s a B, but pays no mind that fact, as it means little to her anyway.

Personality:
Trau is a very self-confident person, to the point of being overestimating of her own abilities (even though her physical combat skills are almost nil). She keeps to herself, but won’t mind butting into things just to show how sassy and overbearing she can be. The poltergeist isn’t really one to help others, and is known to only do so in return for payment or so someone owes her a favor later on. The girl is relatively calm in a fight, but can get a bit crazy if someone actually manages to “push her hard enough against the wall”.

History:
Trauciel Hilbred was born to a well off family full of renowned individuals. Her father was an artist and her mother was a musician. They raised her to be proficient in both talents, but she much preferred the flute over the brush. Unfortunately, this would eventually lead to problems with her elder sister, Karicia Hilbred.

Although she was born first and had practiced music for far longer, Karicia faltered in comparison to Trauciel. Both had their eyes on becoming musicians. Their father, who wanted Trauciel to take up the brush with him, put much stress on Karicia to become a better musician so Trauciel would give up the flute and join his side as an artist. Much to his dismay, Karicia could never catch up to Trauciel.

Becoming enraged at how easily things came to her superior sibling, along with the stress coming from her father, Karicia’s behavior became more and more reckless. On the day that a piano was being delivered to their house for Trau’s 17th birthday, the 20-year-old mustered all the strength she could and pushed the piano (which had wheels on the legs) out of the music room window, where it fell on top of Trauciel, who was petting the family cat (who luckily escaped injury).

Trauciel died upon being crushed by the piano, and her worldly goals and regrets kept her tethered to the world as a ghost. At her funeral, her sister, who was grief-stricken over what her actions had caused, placed a hand puppet with her sister in the coffin before she was buried, along with her favorite flute.

Unhappy with her death, Trauciel donned her current maestro outfit and decided to mess with aspiring musicians who were following their dreams. This didn't start right away, but began simply as an urge while watching other musicians succeed past the point where her hopes were crushed, literally. After a year of suffering, she broke and began torturing musicians, starting with her sister, who, despite her causing her death, was following through with her desires to make a name for herself in music. Using her transforming conducting baton (her former favorite flute) to play horrifying symphonies, and her hand puppet (which allowed her to interact with physical objects and people), Trauciel drew her sister to madness until she ultimately killed herself (leading Trau to garner another skill).

After causing the death of her sister, Trau didn't stop there. She continued to haunt musicians, leading many of them to death, and eventually grew to love the experience and treat it as a game. Her range would soon increase, until she was targeting not only musicians, but other talented people as well. She'd decided that her success would be in their failure.

Unbeknownst to her, there are people who can actually see and combat poltergeists such as herself. Her first encounter with one nearly ended up in her being erased from existence from being caught off guard, but she was able to fight back using her baton magic and her hand puppet. Future encounters would all too easily end the same way - with her adversary laying in a puddle of their own blood and her triumphing over them, laughing as she relished in her "success".

Her actions soon warranted attention from an elite group of ghosts, who asked her to take in a job for them - to locate and capture a girl that was viewed as having extraordinary spiritual power. It was rumored that she was attending a school, which Trau was happy to go along with. Schools meant talented people, and many opportunities for her to further her "success".

Equipment:
A conducting baton that can transform into various musical instruments and a hand puppet with a mind of its own.

Abilities:
Lullaby - Trau plays a song that puts all who hear it to sleep. How long it takes depends on the person's will, and it can range anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes.

Trance - Trau plays a song that puts all who hear it into a trance, making them dazed and confused for a short time. Like Lullaby, how long it takes for the effect to take place depends on the person. In addition to taking a certain amount of time to take effect, it also wears off after a period of time. This period of time is also dependent on the person.

Hand Puppet - Using her hand puppet, Trau is able to interact with the physical world. She can use this to attack people with objects such as knives, along with anything else she sees it useful for.

Invisibility - As a ghost, only people with heightened spiritual sense can see her.

Daydream Orchestra - This ability allows Trau to play a large array of tunes at a time, making it sound like an orchestra. The ability works on one person at a time and causes a great echoing of distorted music in the person's head, causing their head to ache, and possibly become confused or disoriented. It is during this time that Trau will launch an attack. Unfortunately, this ability takes a while to set up before it can be used.

Nightmare Symphony - This ability is much like Daydream Orchestra, but it may only be used on sleeping targets (usually followed up after Lullaby). This one, however, causes mental damage and can leave a target scarred. Music like an orchestra is played as the sleeping target is pulled into a world where they are forced to watch all of their worst nightmares play before their eyes. This ability takes a while to set up but can be used for as long as the target is sleeping (though the trauma usually causes them to wake up).

Double Note - This ability allows Trau's baton to transform into a clone of herself which resembles her elder sister. This clone also wields a hand puppet much like Trau (only on the opposite hand), and can use it to fight. If the clone is hit with any form of spiritual energy, it dissipates instantly. Another downside to this is that Trau is unable to use any other abilities while the baton is a clone. As such, she usually uses other abilities first before using this.

Skills:
As a ghost, Trau can levitate and permeate physical objects. Other than that, she can cook and has amazing musical talent.

Companions:
Her baton clone and her hand puppet, named Sebbie.

Reasons for joining club:
On a mission to capture the girl who is said to possess extraordinary spiritual power. That, and to further her "success".

Voice Actor:
Asami Shimoda

Counterpart Requirements:
In Trau's world, ghosts are the only supernatural entities that journey about. Her counterpart for the Hero's Club would have to be someone that is in pursuit of putting her spirit to rest. The practice of putting ghosts to rest in her canon story is much like it would be elsewhere - to resolve whatever it is that is keeping her attached to the world. Ghosts are not commonly acknowledged in her world, as only some people possess the ability to see them. Items to be used against ghosts are those commonly noted in Japanese mythology.

Other Information: While the hand puppet only becomes physical while in direct contact with something physical, if it should be burned with fire in this state to the point of incineration, Trauciel would cease to exist.
