The Heart Of Kiyohime

The emperor, who has been quite ill for some time, is the last remaining member of his family and is now looking for a successor to the throne. Traditionally the emperor would have had plenty of heirs to choose from, but he was unable to conceive a child. He made a royal proclamation in the capital city that anyone who brings him the heart of Kiyohime - a dragon of legend that is said to slumber deep within Kane Mountain - will take over as Emperor or Empress when he dies.

The proclamation spread near and far, attracting people from all over the country who were eager for a shot at a better way of life. News that big couldn't stay within humans ears for long, as it also drew in demons and other creatures who were desperate to rule the most prosperous kingdom in the lands. The emperors proclamation is not without fault. Many people gather to protest the proclamation, for waking up the dragon would spell doom. Only the ones who were truly brave would make the journey up to Kane mountain.

However, when the dragon awakens it sets off a chain of catastrophic events, and everyone would find that the protesters were right. A cloud of darkness seems to cover the land, and the attacks from demons and evil humans seem to be on the rise. Now that the veil has been lifted off of the dragon and it's servants, the only way to end the chaos is to defeat it once and for all.

  11. If you drop from my roleplay or become inactive for over a week and a half, and we haven't seen you on at all, I will personally move the scene along and decide the fate of your character. Basically, I'll take control of your character and keep things going, until I can find a suitable way to write them out.
  12. In combat scenes do not auto-hit any characters or monsters.

The only rp I was in that really ever ended was one of my first jump in rp's. Somehow it ended with all three couples getting together and going off to summer break. (It was a HS romance rp)

Sorry, I did not get around to inserting the bomb expert part of Hermione yesterday. I might be doing it today. Anyways, in the plot, I plan for her to sneak into the dragon's lair whilst awakens and is about murdering people with its flaming breath. Once there she will offload I don't know, 25 kilograms of Black Powder but then realize she lost her matches (a fatal flaw) and get out before the dragon returns.

No damage is being done to the dragon or anyone else. It's just a simple girl who kind of has a theoretical idea of how to kill a dragon not with brute force, but smarts, planting a BB under the dragon's lair and failing to detonate the explosives the way she'd planned.

I suppose the dragon isn't in real danger either since Hermione would not be going back into the lair unless it is vacant to light the fuse. Plus also, rain. It's likely to rain at such high elevations one side or the other the other. In other words, dragon is safe from sudden Kaboom!

Is that OK or should I be retracting the idea?

I won't really be able to conjure up anything till the weekends roll by b/c Uni is giving me the pains this week. It takes a few hours for me to switch around from writing essays and dissection reports back into my scribe persona.

Also, not to (no intention to reveal the story or anything Sailor, but I kind of see why the emperor wants the heart in the first place).

According to the posts, it's rumored to have the ability to grant immortality or... Any wish possible? Insignificant, but I'm assuming the emperor is just gonna want that heart (like the evil Queen in Snow White who wants SW's heart for immortality).

He gets what he wants and oh god, say hello to the Eternal Emperor (no SWTOR relation intended). The promise to become empress or Emperor is nothing more but a false reward designed to propel mindless idiots into getting the emperor what he wants.

If this is achieved, (emperor gets what he wants) In sure we can say good bye to the natural order of life and the conditions of Earth that we now know it as.

Now, all this is just theory, a wild and simple guess. I may be wrong, who knows? Maybe Sailor and her/his partner had an even deeper secret that I've failed to recognize yet. Thinking more, I can provide dozens of more theories but the aforementioned one is the one that stands out the most in my opinion.

Once again, if I revealed the true story by accident or anything, I am most certainly sorry guys but I'm a person who likes to share my hypothesises very openly.

Very perceptive :> saber and I actually haven't decided yet which route we will take with the emperor, whether he will be good or bad. Everyone's character will be forging the story but hopefully at some point it will become more clear to us.

Even if I were to go with that ending it would take awhile to get to that point and I'm hoping so much more will happen between then and now. As it stands right now, the emperor isn't an antagonist.
