I am looking to do a medieval play involving a gypsy girl and a noble knight. The plot is rather simple, the gypsy comes under the care of the knight after something terrible befalls her, perhaps he saves her from slavery, buys her and keeps her relatively free as he returns her to her people. Perhaps he stops her from being raped. The possibilities are endless. I simply really enjoy the gypsy culture and would like to do a play where either I play the gypsy or you do. I ask, if you do play the gypsy, that you understand the culture and clothing, pictures are much appreciated.
